I’ve been Enabled

SO!! the four main characters are siblings, they were all adopted by a god named Madineau at various ages. Oldest to youngest they are Nyota (21, moth-hybrid thing), Nekaia (20, satyr but a muntjac instead of a goat), Kiet (16, bird- specifically a cardinal), and Everin (16, elf thing that can do magic). Nyotila was most recently adopted, 8 years prior to the start of the story, and the story starts when we find out what it was star was running away from :)

Nyota was the prince of the city state Moth Morien (I’m in too deep I can’t change the name. help me) (it’s a terrible pun on ‘moth’ and ‘loth lorien’ bcus the whole thing is one huge tree) but hated it there AND hated stars dad so! star ran away <3. but Nyotas past caught up with star, and a group of bounty hunters found star. Apparently princes aren’t allowed to simply “disappear” and country-wide manhunts are started.

Nyota is kidnapped by them and dragged back to the city. Nekaia, kiet, and everin set out to rescue star. They thought it would be a quick event, but turns out kidnapping a prince back isn’t easy. After several weeks of failed break-ins and planning, they began their latest plot: everin and kiet would create distractions of different sides of the royal sector, and nekaia would meet up with Nyota in a designated spot while the guards were distracted.

Things did not go to plan. Kiet and everin did not split up, they caused one Large Distraction. when the two of them were cornered, everin panicked and unleashed a huge wave of fire, setting part of the sector ablaze and burning her own hands. She and kiet managed to escape, though.

Nyota was not at the meeting spot. Nekaia couldn’t imagine why star wouldn’t have shown up, and desperately searched every room xey could find. xey opened the door to the throne room.

there was Nyota, sat beside stars father. stars eyes looked dead. drained of all hope and empty. the dad called out some kind of challenge to Nekaia, accusing xem of trying to kidnap his child (true). Xey accepted the fight and won in an instant. Nekaia restrained the king and asked Nyota what they should do with him. ‘Your dad, your call’ and all that. Nyota, eyes still distant, looked up and said to kill him. The king panics and begs for his life, pleading to Nyota. Nekaia hesitates, waiting to see if Nyota changes stars mind, but star confirms again: kill him. So Nekaia does.

Afterwards the four are reunited and it’s a touching moment slightly ruined by the fact that Nekaia is covered in blood and there’s a corpse on the floor and everin and kiet smell like smoke and Nyota is already feeling horrendously guilty. But other than that very sweet.

Nyota processes the fact that with the king dead, STARS next in line for the throne, but doesn’t want it. Instead, star passes it on to everin. Everin is thrilled, and kiet is going to stay with her and be her “right hand man” (kiet does nothing ever) while Nekaia and Nyota head back home :) this is a wonderful plan and nothing can go wrong :))

AND that’s season 1!! there’s 2 more seasons but this post is so FREEKING long haha ^_^ I just love my ocs a LOT
