A/N: is it obvious that Abel is my favorite? like he needs to be protected but you can't really protect a grown man can you?

Poor poor baby Abel. Being the youngest of the Alinac brothers he tends to get the short end of the stick most of the time but despite all of that he's still Ezekiel's favorite out of the twins which grants him praise and occasional attention from his savior Ezekiel. 

When he was first asked to take care of you, Abel agreed with no questions asked, after all Ezekiel promised to get him treats if he did good. The only rule he had was simple enough: don't fall in love. Simple right? I mean, he would never dream of doing anything that went against his savior's wishes. 

Taking care of you meant a few things, one being that Kain was always around either you, or Ezekiel. This didn't mean anything too big besides the fact Kain would hurt you if he wasn't around and to be honest Abel didn't want to be around you all the time. But on the off chance you did get hurt by his negligence he would quickly go to your side and help clean all your wounds with shaking hands while he mumbled prayers under his breath. 

You felt bad for Abel and when you started talking to him like a friend and thanking him for taking care of you, Abel just continued doing the things he was doing without responding to you, whether that was feeding you because your hands were tied or getting a bath ready for you, he just stayed silent. 

From there Abel felt that same warm bubbling feeling he always had with Ezekiel but the difference was this felt, personal, a little too personal. It took Abel months to finally realize he has started to fall in love with you, and once he did all his thoughts and feelings rushed into him as if a damn holding back an ocean broke. 

He found you charming, the way you stayed optimistic that you would get out even if he know Ezekiel would never allow it. You told him stories of places you've been and things you've seen before getting kidnapped, you even promised him to take him to your favorite places if you ever got out. 

Something changed in Abel, now when he saw you he didn't wave, smile or nod like he used to, instead he kept his head down and wouldn't react to anything you said. It hurt you, you genuinely liked talking to him even if he didn't respond, you knew he was listening so when you asked if you had gotten him into trouble he immediately spoke. 

"No, you would never do anything to get me into trouble, for you haven't wronged"

Upon speaking Abel immediately got up and kept his distance from you, covering his mouth and kept looking at you with the most horried expression. He had sinned, he broke the one rule he was given and it was your fault. It wasn't really your fault though was it? You didn't know any better, you didn't realize just how happy you made him feel.

He was sinning against his savior, those who sinned needed to be punished and punishment he receive. Abel would go into the bathroom and lock the door while he punished himself for his actions. Abel did the bare minimum with you now, heaven forbid you asked him to brush your hair or help feed you for it felt far to intimidate and he had already broken the one rule he had to keep up. 

Abel was scared, he needed to confess, he needed to putify himself of the sin he had committed against Ezekiel. Who could he tell? Certainly not you, he could never let you know, Kain would tell Ezekiel and Abel didn't want him to lose his temper for his actions. 

You however did find out, you were napping on Ezekiel's bed and Abel had came in to get the dirty plates that had been stacking up. Once he saw you sleeping the over whelming happiness filled him before it turned to dread and he fell to his knees, holding his hands in front of him as he began to pray. 

You weren't really sleeping, you had woken up hours ago you were just living in your head but when Abel came in you continued to fake sleeping. Everything clicked when you heard his prays, praying that the feeling he had should be ripped from him since he did not deserve it, prayed to purify his soul from doing something that would bring harm to Ezekiel. 

Tears streamed from Abel's eyes as he desperately asked anyone who would listen for forgiveness, and for every thought he had of freeing you to never see him again or freeing you and himself from Ezekiel's grasp to grant him the punishment he deserved for he has sinned.

Hey, Look! Original Characters!

It's the main cast for something I've been working on for a bit. And While I keep working on it I figured I give a small introduction

First is the main Protagonist.

His name is Landon. A young man who can use magic and work under a famous scientist, Dr. Arnold Deldago, who was recently murdered. Landon is the main suspect in the crime as he's a low-classed (also called a green band) magic user who appears to only be able to change the appearance of his stuffed toy Rolland Or Rollo. But that doesn't stop Landon from being generally very cheerful and always doing his best to help people. He's even more willing to help if it helps him pursue his personal goal of finding a curse to a magic-related sickness. Which has to lead him to become employed under the secondary protagonist.

Cyan Clemments. An up-and-coming star researcher at only 19. She's from a rich and famous family and has the brains and resources to get anything she wants. She is looking toward discovering the origin of magic which Dr. Delgado's expedition would have helped. And with Delgado's Death, Cyan has picked up the expedition and has kept everything on track, even taking on Landon, who knows Delgado's (In her opinion incorrect) studies as well as blackmailing the only airship captain who has made it to a mysterious island and back.

Sir Gale Aris, a retired airship captain who worked alongside Deldago in a government office, called the Court. Delgado had tried to pull Gale out of retirement for his expedition, but he refused up until Cyan blackmailed him with Information on Gale's missing son and daughter-in-law. Gale's an old jaded asshole, but in dealing with the open-mind yet stubborn and brash Cyan, he slowly starts to realize the mistake he made that caused his son to cut contact. He's married to Sherrie Aris, a famous airship engineer. Who designed his airship, Lady of the Mists, and under Cyan's pay built Lady of the Mists II, the airship the expedition takes.

Now Abel Brightman is a high-class magician (gold band) With the ability to control and create fire. He is one of the few gold band magicians and is allowed to practice magic freely. He was hired by Delgado and his partner Professor Braxton Griffith to be magical support on the expedition. While still under Griffith's pay, he's more responsive to Cyan's ideas and orders. He's also very sympathetic to Landon, quickly takes him under his wing, quick to Landon's defense, and happy to have him on the trip. No one is quite sure, though, exactly who Abel is or where he came from.

Asher Alinac, a clerk sent by the court to help manage the resource of the expedition. Gale has begrudgingly taken him on as his crew. He's not actually that good of a clerk, and Landon, who is surprisingly good at numbers, helps out a lot. He is a good-spirited and well-meaning young man but a little thick and surprisingly strong. One of the few people who doesn't mind and actually welcomes Landon on board.

A/N: I was on a role yesterday huh lmao. I'm hoping I can keep up with asks when I get them lol, it's nice to get back into the flow of writing.TBH I feel like I could have made these better???? this is straight up like a fic in head canon form lol. to the two who liked my stuff and the one that followed thank you so much it really means a lot to me <3

This all started rather simply, well as simple as you could understand it. You went out into the mountains with your family’s vacation home you, your siblings, and your cousins basically grew up for the majority of the summers you had as a kid. The mountains were absolutely breathtaking and this was the first time you’d been here since your parents passing and you decided to move into the house instead of letting everything inside gather dust.

As breathtaking as the mountain view was from your new house there was one problem that you couldn’t really help, the increase of deer and elk since hunting season was outlawed some time in go. This didn’t bother you and you figured you might as well get used to seeing them in your backyard since there was no stopping it. That same night whilst you were unpacking your things from the moving boxes you heard some rustling out from your back yard and decided to check what animal caused the sound.

You wouldn’t have been surprised if it was a raccoon or a deer since you had already seen a handful of them around but what you didn’t expect, was a man with large horns to be standing out in the woods and looking into your house. You both stared at one another for what seemed forever and you eventually hide behind a corner near the back door just to catch your breath and wrap your head around what you just saw. When you turn to check if he’s still there you jump in surprise to see him far closer than before and you step away from the door.

He was massive, he wasn’t a deer- no he was far too big for that which only left you with one option, he was an elk, which means he has the potential to be very mean. What if he was here because he laid claim on your house and you were invading his territory? You didn’t want to think about it soo much, when you did you were brought to his antlers that no doubt could pierce your skin. With the scar on his face, you could tell he’s fought a few people in his time.

When you snap out of it, he’s now standing directly outside the door and you make more space between you and the glass door, but as you watch him, you notice him looking at your fridge that now was full of food. You open the fridge and took out a packet of mushrooms, you remember hearing or reading about how elk eat wild mushrooms. These weren’t necessarily wild, but was something, but also assuming that this man would just eat straight-up mushrooms was risky so you put the mushrooms back and decide to run back to your room.

Something happened within the time frame of seeing the elk man outside the door and now, you have barricaded yourself in your room while the sound of things breaking was heard beyond the door, that and the sound of voices. You were being robbed, your first day in your new home, and you were robbed by two strangers. This was your worst nightmare, you could hear them talking about you beyond the door as the handle started to jiggle to get the door to open. You covered your head as you curled up on the bed with nothing to do besides cry.

That was until the handle stopped jiggling and the voices turned to screams and howl of something you couldn’t explain as you covered your ears and mumbled to yourself to block out the noise until it was silent. Nothing came to your door, nothing tried to open it but what you did notice was the pool of red that seeped into your room from under the door, and your curiosity got the best of you and you opened the door to see the elk man that was once in your backyard standing in front of your door, panting slightly while the antlers on top of his head dripped with the same red liquid.

Maybe ignoring him wasn’t the best idea because now he was in your house and he was moving closer to you and you began to back away from him in fear expecting him to hurt you but instead, you’re surprised to be pulled into his chest in some sort of protective hug. He almost seemed relieved that you weren’t hurt and thanks to him you weren’t.

After a few days, you get him talking and learn his name is Ezekiel and that he had indeed laid claim over your house as his territory but promised he wouldn’t hurt you and serve as protection from intruders and in return you feed, it was a pretty good deal until one day you were sitting on your couch watching TV and two figures ran up to your back door and began slamming at the glass. You panicked rightfully so thinking it was more strange people but you learned quickly that they weren’t when you heard them calling out and looking for Ezekiel.

You ask Ezekiel about them and he tells you that they're his younger brothers, 

“nothing more than a couple of calves that look to me for protection”

as he said it. After that, Ezekiel stops visiting abruptly, he never said goodbye, he just vanished and you assumed the worst but not so much since he could clearly take care of himself. Eventually, you nearly forgot about Ezekiel, setting out food for him and his brothers was nothing more than a strange habit you picked up, and the feeling of being watched never really went away. Was that strange figure just beyond the trees always watching you?

A/N: this what I was working on last night and I'm glad they get uploaded, I'm actually really happy with them and I might have went overboard lol

You just wanted to get your car fixed, that's all you wanted. You never expected to be trapped above Ezekiel's shop, in his room where he had your arms and legs bound to one another when he was working. Even when his brothers came by for a visit, especially then, he held you around like a dog on a leash. 

Besides that, it's a very rough few days for you, for the most part, you're given daily chores that consist of cleaning around the house or shop, doing the laundry, helping Ezekiel work, and typically doing whatever it is that the brothers want. 

Along with chores, you have a set of rules that you need to follow such as having to stay upstairs during the day, always being accompanied by one of the brothers when you go outside, and never being allowed to cook. Ezekiel does the cooking himself, he doesn't trust that you won't try to hurt him or his brothers. 

However sometimes you slip up, you do the wrong thing or say the wrong line, whatever it is it's a scary thing, especially your first few days. Why? Well, Kain and Abel of course. 

Kain didn't like the idea of you being forced to live with them, not one bit. Ezekiel would sculpt you often out of clay or even draw you with charcoal before you ever showed up and that alone had him hating you. Your face was everywhere in Ezekiel's room and your name slipped into the conversation more than once. 

Kain loves his brother a lot. There's nothing he wouldn't do if it meant he got his brother's praise and attention, however, because of you most of his attempts were shut down or Ezekiel simply didn't care. 

This was bad when concerning the number one rule Ezekiel had made you follow which was to beg for forgiveness when you wrong those above you. The rule was set in place in case you ever tried to escape, to which the person you wronged would have been Ezekiel, and making you beg for his forgiveness made him believe you wanted to stay with them. 

Kain abuses this rule, whenever you did something that bothered him slightly, he would not only make you beg for his forgiveness but also punish you whilst doing so. Most of the time if you were lucky, Abel or Ezekiel himself would stop him before it got too bad. 

Abel was in charge of you most of the time, making sure you ate the food you were given, checking every room for dangerous objects or unwanted guests, and even serving as a friend when his mood was right. Unfortunately, that was always a gamble, the slightest thing could tip Abel too far to one side and that could mean hell for you. 

When you first arrived, you were surprised to find out that Kain was a twin, you never talked to him and Ezekiel avoided mentioning him at all costs, even saying that it was always just him and Kain. But Abel was meek, terrified of the idea of someone raising their voice at him. 

At least that's what you thought until you saw his true colors. Able never spoke to you, but his kind actions made you relax, so when you told him that You were his only friend now, he lost it. Shoving you away with a blinding rage as he got up and grabbed the nearest object and raised it above his head. 

"How dare you have the slightest idea that I am better than he who provides"

To Abel, Ezekiel was his savior, the one who cared and provided for him when Kain and his parents didn't. He knew Ezekiel brought you here because he likes you, and he trusted Abel to keep you alive not become friends with him. After all, you were Ezekiel's property. How could he take something from his brother, this was his nightmare come true and your small action had him spiraling and begging Ezekiel for his forgiveness for taking the attention of something that wasn't his.

A/N: here I be, back on my bullshit. BUT HEY I got somewhat of a theme going I think with the ask, genre, reader and trigger warning thing, I really like it I hope it doesn't look bad. I'm trying to go for an aesthetic if sorts lol, tell me if I'm missing anything??? I'm new to this aesthetic business sorry.

This was definitely Ezekiel's doing, he likes you, he likes having something to himself, something that he can own and toy with. 

It's very short-lived however when he brings you home and remembers his brothers are there, he cares for them, don't misunderstand him. It's just that he doesn't want to share you with his brothers as if they would be stupid enough to try and get close to you.

Whenever you "join" their pack it's very apparent that you belong to Ezekiel and he will drill the idea into the twins' heads by hurting them. You are strictly off-limits to both of them, except on days when Ezekiel can't be there to watch over you, and instead, Abel will take over. 

Kain has a funny way of messing with you, and a lot of the time you knew what he was doing, at least now anyway. Kain would let you go, he would undo the chains or rope, whatever it was that was keeping you unable to move and take you outside. Typically shoving you to leave before Ezekiel found you. He just wanted you gone, out of the picture.

The first time it happened you genuinely thought Kain was helping you, he played the part and even untied you while Abel was asleep. So imagine your surprise to find out that he had warned Ezekiel and pinned both you and Abel to take the fall. It was a smart plan the first time since Ezekiel punished you and Abel, though he got the rougher end of it, for doing something like this.

However when you told Ezekiel that Kain had planned it, he believed you without question, he even apologized to you and Abel and helped you get cleaned after his outburst as a sorry. You didn’t forgive him right away and Ezekiel understood why, but that didn’t stop him from grooming you every night. He figured if he wanted you to love him he should make a harder attempt to try and court you than just keeping you around.

If by some crazy chance you do end up forgiving him and start to actually talk to him you will uncover the soft side Ezekiel has, letting you more like forcing you to pet his head or his ears and even let you have free range of his room and wardrobe, even insisting that you wear his clothes that definitely smell like him. When you do wear his clothes he becomes a big puppy and somewhat forces you to give him praise but not hurt you while asking.

Eventually, you do and Ezekiel’s sent basically stuck onto skin and that has Kain seething. The one thing Kain didn’t want to happen, now every time Kain did something remotely bad to you, you could tell Abel and he would drag Kain right to Ezekiel or you could yell out for Ezekiel himself and he would punish Kain right in front of you for even having the idea of hurting you.

Abel now keeps his distance from you when he’s keeping an eye on you, God forbid he gets too close and sends the wrong signal to his brother. He treats you as if you were sick with the flu and he didn’t want to get sick himself. You smelled of Ezekiel and if Abel smelled like him, that meant you were far too close to him for comfort, yet most of the time when he did he got nothing besides a small warning to not push his luck, and then that would start the cycle of him avoiding you again.
