why them??

Whenever we visit a new location, there's an in-game reason given for why it's these specific four characters chosen to go! I was eager to see why Vil had Jamil, Azul, and Ace come along with him to an acclaimed film festival... and I was not disappointed 😂

So as it turns out, Vil has been invited to the International Film Festival in Fairest City (a significant location for the entertainment and beauty industries). He’s going to promote a movie he’s in that’s releasing next year.

The original plan was for the Film Research Club to accompany Vil and take the chance to learn more about movie productions. However, the club is in the middle of filming for their own project and a change in weather has led to their shoot next week being cancelled. The filming they would have done next week now has to be done this week, so Vil’s club members cannot go on the trip. (Vil himself still has to attend because he is contractually obligated to.)

The other NRC students start to argue over who Vil should take in his club members’ places. The people vying for spots include:

Cater (because the Fairest City is so trendy and always popular on Magicam)

Azul (many famous brands are sold in Fairest City; he has a financial interest in this research)

Lilia (has visited the city before, but never the film festival)

Jade (the city is close to old mines, which he is interested in)

Ace (he loves the idea of going to a fashionable city and “tasting” the celebrity world)

Rook (a lover of movies and dramas; he is curious about the movie studios)

Floyd, Epel, Deuce, Grim (lol it sounds fun to them; Epel also says he has not traveled a lot so he wants to go this time)

Ruggie (FANCY FOOD)

Jamil (wants to take advantage of Vil’s presence to see behind-the-scenes things they don’t normally show; he usually prepares snacks for when Kalim watches movies at one of three at-home theaters but hasn’t had the time to really appreciate the films for what they are himself)

DKJLBHASILYFAYFVQEFIFQEPI; I love the added detail of Jamil telling the others they're inconveniencing their senpai but then Azul cuts in and implies the behavior is a manipulation tactic to show off to Vil how reliable Jamil can be (thus increasing his odds of going while he still maintains his "humility")... Those two just cannot stop getting at each other's throats, I swear 💀 (In part 2, they continue the pettiness when Ace comments that they’re both quick to tease him together, so do they actually get along? Jamil says no but Azul says yes… and the two of them are STILL bullying each other about their personalities once they get their new outfits. Truly not a dull moment with them…)

BUT THIS IS THE REAL STINGER

So since Vil can only pick 5 people to take with him, he says they'll have to prove that they somehow excel over the others. It's then that Azul cooks up a scheme on the spot and recruits Jamil and Ace for it: a lottery! Azul proposes it, has Jamil pitch in, and has Ace prepare the drawings. THIS WORKS ON MULTIPLE LEVELS BECAUSE:

Azul can present the idea as "random" and "fair". This makes him appear like a kind problem solver not wanting to give anyone, not even himself, a leg up.

It would come off as shady if he gets one of the twins (known to be his henchman) to agree with him... so who does Azul get to back him up? Jamil, someone from another dorm, and someone who was passive aggressive with him earlier. This creates a false illusion that others beyond Azul and his dorm believe in the "fairness" of the lottery.

Ace has deft fingers; he a cut a deck of cards--and he can easily rig a lottery since he's in cahoots with Azul, the guy who suggested it to begin with.

This creates a situation where Azul, Jamil, AND Ace get to go to the event. These bitches are mutually benefitting from being collectively sneaky (According to Ace, Yuu and Grim pulled the remaining two slots by coincidence, so they just happen to be "lucky") 🤡 AND THE FUNNIEST PART OF IT ALL IS THAT VIL SUSPECTED THEY WOULD PULL THIS SHIT, BUT HE LET IT HAPPEN ANYWAY SINCE IT'S TECHNICALLY STILL THEM DEMONSTRATING THEIR TALENTS TO HIM...

Truly, bravo... That deserved a standing ovation, gentlemen 👏

Awww, thank you! If I had to say, I think my Monster!AU is my most popular AU so far 😂 It’s just so much fun, and while I love doing the worldbuilding, the wholesome silliness and found family vibes just always get me ;;v;;

Anyway, you most certainly can! I couldn’t help but get flashbacks to my high school years when my best friend would call me Rapunzel because of how long my hair was…and the sheer panic and horror she felt when I came to school one day after getting a haircut and my hair was up to my jaw. Don’t worry, it grew back! I’ve only had it cut that short once, but never again. :V It took three years to get it back down my spine. >.>

So while you asked for a gn!Yuu with long hair (and I’m assuming it’s in Monster!AU), you didn’t necessarily specify any scenario, so I hope you enjoy the random silliness based on my experiences with critters and long hair! >w<

When Yuu was finally able to get out of the ceremonial robes and into more comfortable clothes on the first night in Ramshackle, it came as quite a shock to Grim and the ghosts when they unwrapped their hair to the point the tips touched the ground. Given how dirty it was, however, Yuu had to quickly tie up their hair to keep it away from the dust.

“Where did you put all that?!” Grim asked, patting a paw against their hair as they tried to run their fingers through the long strands. “Why is it so long?!”

“Because I wanted it to be long?” Yuu replied with a shrug.

“Oh…do all humans have long hair?”

Despite being a chaotic gremlin in the beginning, Grim is more curious about the length and texture of Yuu’s hair than anything. At some point he realizes just how warm it is and will often be found practically wrapped up in it, snoozing away and just enjoying the comforting scent of their shampoo.

And then there were the monster students.

Hair is not a foreign concept by any means to these monsters, though the fact that there was someone who had hair this long? It reminded so many of those who knew the story of the Sun Kingdom and the princess with long hair who used incantations on a golden flower to bring her lover back from the dead!

“…your hair doesn’t glow, does it?” Ace asked, bouncing Yuu’s hair in his hands as he held it up to see it in the light.

“If it starts glowing, feel free to freak out, because I sure will!”

An issue that they came across, however, was how often the long strands got caught underfoot by monsters near them. More than once did their head jerk back because someone happened to step on it, whether they were trying to stand up or move to another spot. It happened more than once to the point Yuu’s neck started to hurt from the frequency. Such things didn’t go unnoticed by a certain unicorn…

“Honestly, you’re going to ruin your hair and your posture if you keep letting it drag on the floor like a mop,” Vil scolded them, the unicorn’s lion-like tail swishing in agitation as he worked through the newly formed knots.

“I can just put it up in a ponytail or a bun,” Yuu told him. “It’s no big deal.”

“Absolutely not! If you’re going to keep your hair this long, then at least do something more presentable and functional to keep it healthy and strong.”

So began the long process of Yuu having to sit through lessons on hair care from Vil. They watched as he worked in the mirror to fashion their hair into new styles, referencing videos he’d watched online and resources for hair that closely fit their own to ensure he knows how to care for and teach Yuu. They listened as he instructed them on how to braid or twist their hair into styles they never even considered, and before long they were walking out of Pomefiore with hair care samples and a long, thick braid that hung at the back of their knees. It was a little heavier than they were used to, but not unmanageable.

It certainly made it easier to dance and run after their friends when a certain gremlin chimera got up to mischief!

When Cheka comes to visit, Yuu can’t help but notice how much he acted like a kitten that they just…couldn’t help but let him play with their hair. It was adorable to watch at first, but—like all things in Twisted Wonderland—something inevitably goes wrong.

“How did he get tangled up in your hair this badly??” Jack asked as he tried to figure out how to unravel the giggling child from their hair.

“Ow…Cheka was just so cute playing, and I only looked away for a second,” Yuu said, their hands on their scalp to keep the tugging at a minimum. “I didn’t think he’d get tangled up like this!”

“Halp!” Grim cried out, squirming around Yuu’s hair as well.

“Ow ow ow ow! Grim, stop! You’re pulling on my scalp!”

“I’m starting to think that human hair is used to trap prey,” Ruggie commented with a snicker, though his fingers were still combing through and untangling the hair quicker and easier than Jack.

After all is said and done, Yuu’s hair is quite fascinating even to Cater’s Magicam followers, leading to some crazy hairstyles and designs to be created (and lots and lots of safe hair dye and hair spray to be used). If Yuu wants to use a rainbow of colors or specific ones for their hair, Vil and Professor Crewel will find ways to help do so without damaging the roots or strands with harsh dyes or bleach!

Straight? Curly? Wavy? Dreadlocks? Afros? Any style and texture of hair a human could have! Imagine the possibilities with styles and colors in a world where Yuu can literally ask someone to use magic to see how something would look! And there wouldn’t be any issue with returning it to normal because magic~!!

Kudos to those of you who are able to confidently dye your hair wonderful colors, I love seeing the hues that can be done ;;v;; I'm too chicken to do it to my own hair, so I live vicariously through seeing others do it. 😃

Hi there! I was wondering if you could write a birthday drabble for how the one and only Yuu!Reader might spend their birthday.

Boyfriend Rook and the Pomefiore crew get all dolled up and see theatre performances (Hell maybe they go to one of Vil's). Afterwards Rook and reader have lunch at a fancy restaurant and enthuse about the performance.

Meanwhile everyone else is trying to get a party ready for NRC's favorite prefect. Riddle has sorted everyone into teams according to what they need to accomplish. Baking crew, Decorations crew etc. Best Friend Idia's tinkering away at their computer for a surprise.

Being woken up from your nap by Rook looking around your closet may have been the strangest thing you've seen him do till he explained he wanted you well dressed for a performance that was starting in two hours. It was 4 PM, on a weekend...the last thing on your mind was to get up from the comfort of your bed.

"Rook I'm not...in the best spirits." You were eluctant at first since the entire week had been a busy one, He looked backed from the closet and came to lay your clothes down. "Ah Mon amour, tell you what...get dressed, we'll go to Vil's performance, and then we head to your favorite restaurant." To be honest the thought of going to the restaurant that always had a fine view of the outside world and amazing food there was enough motivation. With that, you got ready within 20 mins.

Once it was 5:36 pm, Rook had made sure you both arrived to get seats front row after all he was happily there to encourage his friend and to enjoy the show with his partner.

Meanwhile...back at the college, everyone was busy preparing with Riddle being the leader.

"Great, so everyone is aware it's NRCs Favorite Perfect birthday. I only invited the House wardens because I am sure we don't need too many people here, it will be crowded especially with some not focusing on tasks. Oh and Ace, Trey, Deuce and Cater are extra help."

"Where's Idia then??" Asked Ace, "Idia is working on a gift for perfect. Now! I'll be working on the cake. Kalim decorations with Deuce, Malleus you can cut the fruits for the fruit salad with Trey, Silver with Cater on drinks such as punch, Leona you can blow the balloons up or use the gas tank just make sure to place them around the room in groups of three."

"Awesome.." Leona with arms crossed turned his gaze to the side.

Trey began rinsing the fruits they'd use while Malleus took the kitchen utensils out to cut them up. "Should I sharpen the blade on these?" Malleus asked Trey holding the knife down while he inspected it.

Leona was selecting which balloons would fit the color room best even if it was taking time to match since there was a bunch, "For what do we have all these balloons.."

"Where did you think those balloons came from in special events?" Kalim was carrying a box of party hats, poppers, table cloths, napkins...this boy was carrying a whole variety pack. "Ah, yeah I guess...do you need help with that?" Leona eyed the box surprised. "No, I got this but I can come back to help you with the balloons, I got Deuce setting chairs and tables up right now, I'm sure he won't mind."

Everyone was doing great helping one another when they could. Back to the Majestical Theatre, everyone was applauding Vil upstage as the curtains closed and lights began to brighten up.

"Ah, Magnifique! Wasn't that great dear?!" Rook smiled looking at you, "I agree he is gifted afterall." Vil never failed to make a show touch the hearts of many with his beauty and acts. It all becomes so real for the time being.

After the whole chaos getting out of the crowd being caught up with Vil, Rook took you to the restaurant. Finally alone and away from everyone.

The ambience of dim lights in the fancy place was welcoming as you talked about the performance. "The way he changes outfits back to back must be exhausting, I'd probably get mixed up with the clothing knowing in 5 seconds I have to be back up to play whatever character is next!"

Rook let out a chuckle nodding, "It's truly a chore yes, mon dieu." He shook his head smiling before looking down and took out a small red velvet box with a gold ribbon on it, handing it to you. "Open it."

You smiled and took it from his hands eyeing the box before opening it to see a necklace you've been saving up on for quite some time.

"Rook are you serious! You didn't have to...ahh, it's like I imagined it to be..." He only admired the corner of your lips curve into a grin. "Happy Birthday mon lapin!" He admired the way the necklace decorated your neck, how it complimented your skin color and all, it was meant to be worn by you.

"Thank you, I love it." You smiled holding his hand from across the table as he tightens his grip on yours.

Back in at the College, everyone was finished after the busy afternoon. The kitchen was cleaned up after Riddle suggested it so everyone could enjoy the party.

"This is great, honestly." Silver sighed smiling. "Yes for once I agree. Now we hide." As soon as Riddle said it, everyone scrambled to their positions with the party poppers.

Rook was already walking you down to the venue with his hands on your wrists making sure to keep your hands covering your eyes. "Don't peek at all, at all!" He chuckled.

"I feel like you're trying to lead me into trouble again.." You giggled and suddenly hear the door shut behind you, his grip gone. "Rook?..."

The party poppers went off as soon as the lights came on causing a slight startle.

"Happy Birthday!" Everyone cheered as you laughed the shock off. "Jesus so many surprises!" Rook stood beside you and leading the way to the cake being lit up.

It seemed perfect moment with everyone wishing you the best as the favorite in the college. Everyone talking about the first impressions, the memories you've given them, how they felt their lives change once you came and gave them another thing to look forward to.

At the end of the day after clean up, you took the gifts to your room with the help of Rook. One gift specifically caught your eye seeing it was from your best friend, Idia.

"What's wrong?" Asked Rook watching your eyes admiring the gift all around before opening it. It had bubble wrap all around, a flat glass with buttons such as replay, forward, backward, and pause.

"I'm not sure what this is..." You said before pressing play and the glass lit up above you replaying the moment everyone sang Happy Birthday to you.

You smiled seeing it play before your eyes. Pressing forward played the moment you danced with Rook for the first time in the Masquerade ball, first time actually having a full conversation after he helped you too.

Rook sighed lovingly remembering the scene before taking the gift and set it down, taking your hand with his and pulled you in closer to dance.

"I'll never forget the day, it's the most enchanting moments of my life...the scenery and the beauty before me..." He looked down at you wanting to relive it all.

Thinking about it, Idias request to have you half a day to put you to sleep while having those small patches on your temples and head made sense as weird as it was.

He wanted to have something to look back to be able to feel it all again just as it was the first time.

Now and then when you feel a little sentimental, all you'd have to do was turn the lights off and let all your memories replay before you. Idia even made sure to had you a guide on how to make it work, he had broken down many steps saving you from the endless hours of coding and combining you would've had to do.

Now all it takes was a to put the patches on and let them process or a usb would do fine.

Divus 3

Summary: The Fairy Gala outfit you were given is pretty neat, honestly. Though, your faerie buddies don’t seem to think so.

Before you changed into this outfit prepared by Divus, you almost had to physically fight the three little faeries that wanted to see you change.

Well, that sounds horrible, they just wanted a first look at what was given to you but you value your personal space. Yeah, you know they have a different perspective on nudity, little to no feelings of shame within them, but you don’t want to give the impression that they’re free to bother you at any time.

Well, at least they like you enough to be well behaved and willing to tolerate Divus, Vil, Leona, Kalim and Jamil all in the same room. You know they don’t like it, but you don’t want those little faeries to be in your space.

Anyways…

Divus really has his work cut out for him. If he wasn’t a teacher, you’re more than sure he’d be a high end fashion designer with multiple shops clamoring for rights to sell his clothing. On such short notice, you were expecting the fabric and the silver accents to be rushed, but the end results were something to marvel.

While it’s easy to see that teaching is his passion, this too was part of it.

As soon as you walked into the room, you asked, “How the fuck did you figure out my measurements?”

You’re not all that concerned to be perfectly honest. You’ve known Divus long enough to know he’s not a creep or a stalker. You just chalked it up to magical bullshit. Or scarily accurate estimations.

“What?” Divus had that specific smile that told you he ain’t telling you anything. His own little secret. Yeah, it’s probably just really good estimations. If it was magic, he would divulge it so. “You’re not going to thank me. Certainly I didn’t have time to go all out but it’s still my work you’re wearing.”

“Oh yeah,” you looked down, just to make sure it’s still just as neat to look at. It is. “It’s nice. Comfy. And stylish. Should get the job done.”

You could’ve given more details but you just to mess with Divus. You like the bastard best when he isn’t wearing that smug smile. The frown he has is funnier.

“Eloquent.” Sarcasm lathered his tone.

“I know.” You snorted.

A chorus of little bells came from above you. Rapid little chimes, high pitched, almost harsh.

“Huh?” You looked up, the little fire, water and wood faerie swooping down and buzzing around you. “Hey, what’s wrong?”

“Those tones,” Divus crossed his arms, “are they angry, perhaps?”

The wood faerie stopped and tugged at your sleeve, wiping their hands over the silver accents as though it offends them. The water faerie was in front of you, looking between you and the group on the other side of the room practicing their routine, visibly distressed. The fire faerie was…

…they were heading right towards Divus. They spat fire from their hands, though Divus, with a quick flick of his whip, was easily diverted. Luckily it didn’t hit anything, and that was the only attack the faerie did.

Finally, the three little faeries cool down somewhat from their anger. You were able to listen to their bell voices now that they're not blending together.

“…yeah I don’t think they like the outfit, Divus.” Shame, you liked it.

“I figured as such.” His eyebrow twitched. He crossed his arms. “And why is that?”

You strained an ear, listening to their chimes.

“Huh…” Oh boy. “’This outfit is not fit to dance with our queen,’ they said.”

Got some A Twisted Future timeline info I wanna share underneath the cut.

As I've stated in the past, it's been said that none of the TWST events are actually canon to the main story, because they take place in their own separate universe. That's why the game devs are allowed to do whatever they want for the events, like have everyone know each other relatively well by Halloween/have Epel & Deuce have their UM by that point, etc.

That's why my Halloween and New Year's event fics aren't canon to my A Twisted Future series, and that will likely be the case for future Halloween/New Year's themed event fics.

As far as all the other events are concerned, I really want them to be canon to my series, so I'm writing them as if they are canon, although I know that makes things a little difficult since I want the majority of them to happen after Book 6 and before Book 7 since Yuu has a good relationship with everyone by then/everyone knows each other, etc.

Considering we don't know when exactly Book 7 starts, although I'm suspecting some time in April, I realize that this doesn't give me a lot of time to fit in all the events that I want to happen before then.

I'm not opposed to some of the events happening after Book 7. It just all depends on how that book ends, so I won't say an event takes place after Book 7 until I know for certain what the main story situation will be like by that point.

So, in the meantime, I'm just gonna pretend there's an extra month in the year, located in between March and April, so I can do as I please with the event timeline since it's not like it's ever been stated that TW's years are the same as ours lol 😂

However, not all events will happen during that time frame. I've decided to have a few of them happen between Books 5 & 6, like the first Camp Vargas event, which is why I decided to tweak canon by not having the incident with Grim happen the night following Vil's OB since my Yuu had ended up in the infirmary that night and Grim would've wanted to stay with her and he would've definitely stuffed his face with all the food her friends had left at her bedside for her to eat once she woke up after having gotten knocked out by Lilia's specially prepared medicine lol

I just don't see the harm in just having Grim go to the coliseum at a later date after deciding one night that he wants to eat the blotstone from Vil's OB, so that's the route I'm gonna take with this series.

Regarding how everyone met up at Ramshackle a few days after the incident with Grim to talk about the SDC/VDC in canon, I don't see why it can't happen later on since I can just say Vil had a lot going on with his schedule following the SDC/VDC like his recovery, work, etc. And there were game events that took place during that period time as well. That's why he had to put off that meeting with the NRC Tribe at Ramshackle.

Aside from those changes, I've decided that, rather than have the SDC/VDC happen around the middle of February like in canon, I want it to happen at the beginning of February. That way I can fit in the three events that I think could happen before Book 6, one of which being Camp Vargas while the other two are a surprise 😉

I would also like to have a few events happen during the period of time when Ramshackle is under repairs following Idia's OB since in canon that's like the whole month of March, although I might make it shorter for my series. I think this would be perfect for events that don't involve the Shroud brothers who are still at Styx during that time.

Just wanted to share this in case anyone might be interested in the timeline for my TWST series ^^

【 book 6 thoughts ! (2) 】

hello, back at it again w/ more thoughts on book 6 ^^ (this one's a lot longer than the first one so oops)

part : one, two, three, four / ??

i'm sorry. i laughed when he said "i'm the BOSS". like he was doing so good on the intimidating with the "don't you guys know where you are? don't you know who i am?" and then he just HAD to say the cringiest line in all of humankind.

but tbh, it's interesting to see idia's more cynical side pop out. usually he's very self-serving, but that's bc his goals don't involve other people, his goals are usually stuff he does for himself, but after being named acting director, you can see how callous he's acting toward the other dormleaders. usually he would mind his own business in the corner, but now he's holding his ground bc he was given the authority.

DESPITE THAT. the one thing i appreciate is that he keeps on emphasizing not using unnecessary violence. one of the charons was about to blast riddle again, and he was the one who stopped that. idk it was just a gesture that stuck out to me.

it's interesting to hear that idia's family came from such...rich history. i mean, being one of the pillars of enforcement basically ? punishing those who abandoned principals ? that's a heavy cross to bear. especially with the fact that society basically abandoned/forgot them after magic became more well introduced into the world.

also malleus added that they used to lock up overbloters in the island of woe and that it was idia's ancestor who watched over the island. it begs the question, how many overbloters are kept in captivity ? like i'm sure that the old old ones died, but are there those that are alive ? or even the blot monsters of those who have died ? (since, iirc, crowley mentioned that the blot monster can outlast the overbloter if they run out of magic n die)

also. floyd brings up a good point. for an organization that works in secrecy, they sure made a really big ruckus coming in to take the overbloters. he brings up the fact that they probably have a good way of covering up all of this, which begs the question, what kind of cover up will they do ? since this is a magic world, could it be they'll wipe everyone's memories ? of styx and of the people that were taken, so people don't try searching for them ?

crewel scanned jack n yuu for injuries before leading them to where epel + adeuce were. and how he offered to patch up yuu's minor injuries sniffs,,,, he talks tough, about how he's going to teach them a lesson n stuff, but i think it's bc he as an educator feels like he failed. he feels partly responsible for not teaching them how to fight safely ++ that they didn't try to call him for help. and the way he's so protective of them.....dad crewel agenda is actually happening everyoneeee

i do think that rook's plan is. stupid. bc why would he go alone ? he clearly has the means to find the isle of woe, but how is he going to bust through styx security without any back up ? i'm 90% sure he's acting mostly based on emotion, and that's why he's in such a rush to head over there w/o any real plan,,,,,, (sob, i was right,,,in 2-23 he talks abt how he's worried about vil and angry at the styx dudes)

i feel. really bad for yuu bc of all they went through. first, they lose grim to the blot crystals,,,,they haven't seen him in weeks bc crowley was doing who knows what with him. and then when they do see him, he's in a cage and being taken away w/ the rest of the ob gang.

then, their home gets completely destroyed. that's only the tip of the iceberg, because they watch as their friends fight against this mysterious organization that slowly takes them away, and they can't do anything because...they don't have magic.

they arrive at the infirmary with minimal wounds while their friends are bedridden, and they can't do anything to help them. they're torn between staying and going with rook bc they're afraid they'll just be dead weight,,,,,but going anyway bc of their determination to find grim and get him back. like if you didn't think yuu was resilient before, think again.

when you hit 6-23, you can see a map of a portion of twisted wonderland and :000 it's really cool to see ^^ so the closest country to sage island is the "land of dawning". there are names that i recognize n names i don't. obv we know about shaftlands, queendom of roses, and the briar valley. but we don't know anything about the kingdom of heroes, sunshine lands, or the land of dawning. i do wonder if we'll ever get to go there in future events, or if they'll forever remain unexplored.

!! i think his UM is really cool !!! rook calls it weak, but i see it as a very persistent spell, and it fits well with his skillset + personality. and as epel says, it's pretty intimidating. if he has it cast on you, you wouldn't be able to lose him. like ever. and the line he says ?? "come, see if you can flee from me. arrow afar!" that's so rook ? see if you can flee from me, i mean c'mon. the arrow leaving its quiver sound as he casts it, and his confidence is so damn cool >:DD (also we are welcoming rook hunt into the rich boys club. immediately.)

n the phantom database. does that mean they have a database on all the phantoms that they've been able to capture alive ? or do they...keep phantoms from before too ? magical disaster prediction, does that mean predicting overblots ? a lot of questions indeed

all the talk about phantoms has me thinking back to the mines. bc that CLEARLY was a phantom that adeugrimyuu encountered at the beginning of their NRC careers. the question is, who's phantom was it, and why didn't STYX take that phantom in for research if they have eyes and ears everywhere ?

and the fact that even creating phantoms is a rare thing ? on top of overblotting being a rare thing ? i can see why STYX just had to get their hands on our ob gang, given that each of them weren't consumed + manifested phantoms + recovered fine, there might be a link between their obs that even they didn't see.

ok it makes a ton of sense. now hear me out. blot is seen as this unnecessary byproduct to doing magic, and it's also harmful to the mage + those around them. the fact that STYX wants to turn this around and try to figure out a way to use blot is a natural thing. it's the same thing w/ humans in our world turning plastic bottles into ecobricks or animal manure into biofuels, attempting to turn something harmful into something useful is like. mankind's thing.

okay so the first trial was in a vr space that looked like a virtual space + they were fighting ortho n the charons. they said everything was pretty normal.

they mention a lachesis system,,,,lachesis is the second of the three fates, the one who measures the length of the thread n decides how much time a human has left.

second trial, they're in the cafeteria ? oH GOD they're gonna have them fight the vice housewardens ??? isn't that playing dirty ?? ofc they wouldn't wanna fight against the people they care about. and framing it as them wanting to wrest the dormleader seat from them by dueling just adds to the betrayal !! it's natural that there's an increase in blot production, probably bc of the negative emotions they were feeling in combination w/ having to fight their friends

trial one, vr space once more. since the results are likely the same, i won't go into details about it, but like...how are they measuring blot when they aren't using magic irl ? technically, they're only using magic in the VR world, so how come their blot levels are rising in the real world too ?

trial two, oughhh not ruggie n kalim,,,, ofc leona kingscholar and his sexy brain can see through the illusion that they wove. he starts attacking ruggie right away instead of waiting. (also i'm. his laugh. guys his laugh. ok bye) like whew the amount of levelheadedness and quick thinking this guy has in unknown situations is so ?? cool ??? and then ofc, jamil being very quick on the uptake as well, we are looking at two big brained ppl rn. (not idia getting annoyed at jamileo figuring out the system in one go—)

pros; the icon of stability, high manifestation speed, potency aND his magic pool is substantial, solid in both offense and defense (w/o specialized training), physically and mentally resilient (stress doesn't affect his blot much), unique magic lasts a long time

cons; nothing ??? (they legit did not have anything to say abt vil.)

result; being the icon of stability and consistency -> a tank that calls that shots for the rest of the party

leona:

pros; superior casting speeds, superior magic pool (received extensive magic instruction as a kid), efficient in using magic (tailors spells to enemy output; reduces accumulation of blot), stress didn't have much affect on blot, great mental fortitude

cons; when he does experience intense emotions, it could cause a drastic spike in blot accumulation

result; would be suited for tank but isn't a leader

jamil:

pros; efficiency over speed (similar to azul), quick and precise with defensive magic (due to guarding kalim ?)

cons; constantly worried about his reserves

result; could probably handle being in any position -> melee DPS that supports tank OR healer class

(it's sad to think that idia doesn't even want to try making friends, bc in the end, when he becomes a researcher at STYX, all traces of him will get erased in the river lethe, so he sees no point)

Okay so, I’m currently working on a magical archives style type post for my ccau oc Yuulo but in looking at the designs i noticed something.

Their s h o e s.

Which admittedly, is a very weird thing to notice but all of them just stood out to me. Ignoring event outfits (only counting things they wear in the main storyline/displayed in the magical archive) each character has 4 different sets of shoes: Ceremonial Robe shoes, Dorm Uniform shoes, Gym Shoes, and Casual/School Uniform shoes. Now, let’s ignore the first two I mentioned in the list bc those are universal designs (excluding Ortho for obvious reasons) and that leaves us with 2 Unique shoe designs per character.

Which is probably obvious in retrospect, but then I started to rly just look at each of their picks individually and everything just feels so well thought out. Every pick feels like it fits the character and thats just so fucking cool that Yana thought out everything for every single one of them since initially in my head I was thinking they’d all just had the same design but nope!

Let me get into some examples now,

Only a handful of them have typical “anime school uniform type shoes” (for lack of a better term im sorry i don’t know shoe types that well—) and even in those cases they’re different in overall design and fit the characters. Those being: Deuce, Trey, Jack, (not gonna include Octavinelle, ill get to them soon), Silver, and Sebek which isn’t a lot! And then again, all unique in their own rights,

Deuce’s are black loafers with a rounded point giving them more of a younger look, Trey has dark brown loafers with a more pointed shape which opposite of Deuce’s makes him look a bit more mature, Jack has much wider dark mahogany loafers which fits with his physique better, Silver’s who defaults to brown loafers again though this time with more of a curved point to them and an indent cut out in the strap, and finally Sebek who has the pointed dress shoe-like black shoes but his are entirely smooth with no laces.

And since I mentioned the dress shoes so much i’ll go onto the ppl who wear those now too. Them being, Riddle, Azul, Jade, Floyd, Vil, Malleus, and Lilia (Vil and Lilia included too bc I dunno where to put them otherwise—)

All mentioned except Riddle, Vil, and Lilia wear the normal style dress shoes you’d see if you just googled it with a few different color variations here and there. Azul’s being brown with laces, Malleus and Jade having black shoes with laces, and Floyd’s being black without much like Sebeks (maybe I should’ve considered Sebek in this category too but eh hindsights)

And smth also interesting to note is that Malleus’ and Jade’s while the same in concept just… feel like they’re from different brands idk I cant explain it I think it’s bc of the way the seems or stitches look but who knows

Then the first three i mentioned, Riddle’s have a deep red portion on the middle part of his shoes, Vil’s are pointed heeled with a flared tongue and decorative strap thats blue and black to match his dorm colors (actually wait im looking at his more and i think they might even be boots..? The tongue throws me off and is a weird design on boots but the gold accent continues up so i think they are boots ahdjfksn), and then finally Lilia’s who like vil, has a higher golden colored heel that adds a bit of fancy to shoes that otherwise would be loafers and thank FUCK his aren’t boots in disguise too.

Something unrelated to shoes that’s also interesting is his pants??? fancy little old man got special pants lol

and i’m getting exhausted writing everything now idek how long i’ve been writing about SHOES but im gonna speed this up now—

Basically everyone else wears sneakers, exceptions being Cater who wears white casual slip on shoes, Leona who has his toes EXPOSED (he wears some sort of flip flop sandals looking hybrid), Kalim who’s wearing arabic curled toes which i believe are called multani khussa with a gold anklet, Epel who’s wearing a pair of very cute decorative boots with red plaid details on them (which i’m willing to bet Vil got for him—they look expensive and less practical than i think Epel would prefer), Rook who’s in tan combat/work boots, and Ortho bc well he doesn’t have feet.

Anyways I’ll talk abt the sneaker ppl and more thoughts on this if people really want me to bc I do have more but i’ve spent the last at least 30 minutes talking about SHOES of FICTIONAL CHARACTERS and I’d like to get back to drawing lmao and don’t rly think this is smth many people would be interested in so <33

(A/N: First off, my deepest apologies that I am answering this so late. The only reason this is late is completely because of episode 3/4 and what happened in those parts ended up making me change a few of my answers to this ask. In the end, I decided I would wait until the event was complete just in case more shit hit the fan but now that the final episode is out, I feel comfortable with my answers as they are.)

5. how does your oc feel about their new outfit? do they like it? do they feel uncomfortable in it?

Currently working on artwork of this but Yuulan’s outfit is a vibrant dress of red, violet and gold. There are even matching gold ornaments for her braids. She really likes her new outfit, especially since it’s in her favorite colors. But she does have some trouble moving around in it because she’s not used to wearing long skirts. 

8. did your oc get any souvenirs for others? if so, what did they buy and for whom?

Yuulan was very taken by the colorful glass mobiles. So much so that she ended up buying three; one for herself and two more for Taima and Jack.

9. which team did they join? team a (epel, azul, deuce), star team (idia, rook, ruggie, silver) or team 1 (malleus, riddle, jamil, sebek)? or did they stay with trein? or maybe they formed their own team, if so, can you tell us more about the members?

She joins team 1. Sebek is a little wary of her motives but Malleus is delighted to have more time to spend around Yuulan. She gets a major kick out of the goat following Malleus around and at one point they share a coffee, much to Sebek’s disapproval. 

13. would they text their friends who couldn’t go to nbc about everything that’s going on? would they send them photos?

Yuulan honestly would be too busy exploring the city and enjoying the festivities to think about texting. But when she got a chance, she would send Taima pics of Deuce in his masquerade outfit for her amusement.

Currently working on artwork of this, but Sidonie’s outfit actually matches Farron’s. It’s a long and elegant indigo gown in a renaissance style, embroidered with crimson roses. She also has roses woven into her hair. She absolutely loves her outfit and Farron believes it’s very suitable for her. 

8. did your oc get any souvenirs for others? if so, what did they buy and for whom?

Sidonie ends up getting a lot of souvenirs for Danica, who was especially saddened that she could not go to NBC. One of these souvenirs is an amulet carved into the shape of a bell and she also gets her one of the glass mobiles after seeing Rook get one for Vil. Sidonie also buys an amulet for Trey.

She and Farron initially join team 1 with Yuulan but later decides to stay with Trein where they talk more about the history of the city and the differences between NBC and NRC. Unlike most of the other students, she is actually interested in what Trein has to say.

Since Danica was so upset that she could not go with her (Danica’s mother is originally from the City of Flowers), Sidonie makes a point of texting her frequently with interesting bits about her day that she thinks Danica would like. Sidonie however does not tell Danica that Neige is there and hopes to the Great Seven that Rook won’t tell her or Vil. 

5. how does your oc feel about their new outfit? do they like it? do they feel uncomfortable in it?

Currently working on art of this, but Farron’s masquerade outfit actually matches with Sidonie. It’s a very elegant suit similar to Rook’s but with a longer cape embordered with red roses. There are also red and gold roses decorating the shoulder and his mask. Considering he is usually the one to design and create fabulous outfits for everyone, he loves that he is the one being given something gorgeous to wear for a change! And he loves how he and Sidonie are matching. 

8. did your oc get any souvenirs for others? if so, what did they buy and for whom?

Farron buys several figures for his older sister and he also buys the special amulet charm after hearing the shopkeeper explain the legend behind it. He buys the charm for Andrew, for good luck and with the hopes that the next time he returns to the City of Flowers, Andrew will be with him. (And no, sadly, Andrew was not included in the RSA envoy to visit NBC)

Like Sidonie, Farron is texting Danica about what they’re doing and posting tons of pics on magicam for Cater to see. He’s also texting Andrew and they talk about different things they’d like to do if they ever visited the City of flowers together.

Riddle as the quick tempered boss who believes rules need to followed…He’s from a long line of bosses who all stemmed from the Queen of Hearts… His wrath is well known and his protectiveness of what is apart of his kingdom is even more so well known

Trey is the long time friend of Riddle and is now his right hand man…His family bakery was used as a way to transport…”goods” and so, He helps to transport “goods” and money through…various means.

Cater is in charge of keeping mafia stuff quiet…any rats are found by him and he may act like a fun loving sweetheart but…According to those who work under him…he’s the scariest of all three of them…Met Riddle through Trey when he helped hide a misstep in Trey’s ranks

Ace and Deuce are working to control the police force in Her Majesty’s favor…Both are pretty high ranking but they’re not leaders really…at least not yet

Savanaclaw-

Leona is gonna be a boss in this au…mans definitely killed his brother (reminder these guys are evil…er now) He acts fairly lazy but he’s a genius…nothing gets in the way of the kings pride…Be prepared~

Ruggie is one of Leona’s closest confidants and since he comes from humble beginnings he’s the one who has helped recruit the most people…He’s terrifying and since he’s close to the people of the slums he’s got a good connection to the black market down there…Look at my short king, running the show 💕

Jack comes from a family who is close to Leona’s, Jack is commonly used as a bodyguard to Leona or Ruggie (Like they need one lmao)

Octivinelle

Azul my beloved nerd…The vibes don’t change much from how they usually are since fish mafia is def canon…But our dear octo boy isn’t a leader just yet…All praise our beloved octo queen AKA his mom…He’s set to take her place in a couple years and he’s already got it down pat lol

Jade and Floyd are Azul’s childhood friends…Having “chosen each other” in canon it’s definitely true that they’re still his bodyguards/right and left hand men. Personalities stay about the same but Once Jade and Floyd get attached to someone they’re even more protective of them than in canon…Trust me, You’re safe with them.

(Lowkey I think the only way to get close to these guys is to have met them in a way where you saved them from cops or if you grew up with them…So if y’all are interested I can maybe start writing this 👀)

Scarabia

Kalim is still a silly goofy lil guy! Except he’s only acting stupid. Don’t underestimate him. This young man grew up rich but unlike in canon he wasn’t just the firstborn…He had to fight for this title…His 30+ younger siblings are too scared to try and take the title since…”The Incident” (He’s still my blorbo)

Jamil is still from a family that owes the Asim family and he honestly hasn’t changed much…besides the fact that Jamil has a greater respect for Kalim in this au…It’s recommended you don’t ask why

Pomefiore

Vil is the leaders son, He’s literally a year away from taking “the crown” and carrying on the legacy of his mother and fathers skill in crime…He’s still an actor and model…And he’s still famous too…Extra protective of his status tho soooo…watch out bestie he’ll carve ur eyes out

Rook is still definitely a hunter…Anyone who presents a threat to Vil or the royal line is exterminated quickly…Rook is still in love with love but I feel that now his hunter qualities (Bloodlust) are much more present…Traumatized, your honor. He’s traumatized.

Epel is a young farmer boy who caught the eye of Vil one day…His grandfather was a mentor figure to Vil’s father and so, Vil’s father introduced him to Vil and taught him how to defend his son…Bodyguard who’s also used for spy jobs because he passes as a girl 💀 poor little meow meow

Diasomnia

Malleus is still the “prince” seeing as his grandmother is in charge since his mother and father were murdered…He’s followed everywhere by extreme guards (*cough* his found family *cough*) because he’s an heir…He’s still very lonely but he’s definitely more…purposefully scary

Since Malleus doesn’t have a right hand man Lilia serves as more of a mentor figure and advisor for Malleus…Lilia was best friends with Malleus’s father and is technically Malleus’s god father…(He was definitely gay lovers with Malleus’s dad… Just let me have this please god the angst hurts so good)

Silver serves as another guard for Malleus and as Lilia’s adopted son he’s grown up with Malleus and considers him a brother…He’s a very secretive man and he’s considered to almost be a ghost…hardly a single record of his life…How odd

Sebek is the most loyal follower of the Prince and has sworn his life to keeping him safe since his parents were the previous King and Queens guards (until they were killed attempting to save Mal’s parents) And so Sebek grew up only knowing how to serve…Yes he’s loud but he’s also much more…Prone to immediate violence

Ignihyde

Idia is a lot less spooked by contact with people…But do not think for a second he enjoys human contact…Idia’s family runs a “computer/IT company” AKA they launder a hell of a lot of money…Idia is still incredibly skilled with Code and consistently steals money from people just…for funsies…He lost his younger brother 5 years ago when the car he was in was target with a car bomb…He’s yet to take the role of leader but he might as well have it lol

Ortho is a young orphan who looks eerily familiar to Idia’s dead little brother…He is still very young and so not much knowledge is available on him…any far research into this boy has led a lot of journalists to…disappear…Ortho constantly wears a and long clothing to keep his identity a secret…

A/N: Planning to post some finished requests tonight thankfully but I wanted to share something super self indulgent with you guys since I just recently got an Alexa! I'm still kind of in a funk (since classes are STILL not over with) so thank you everyone for your kind words in my inbox q wq For now I only have Riddle and Leona...but if everyone likes it I'll make an effort to finish! I kinda am working on Azul's as we speak >:3 Warnings: Boys missing you terribly, Riddle justifying the breaking of rules and Leona realizing that he is talking to an inanimate object.

The Ramshackle Prefect leaves to go to RSA for a month, following a lead that could get them back home. And while the dorm leaders do miss them terribly, it seems one of them is hiding something.

“AZUL-SHI DO SOMETHING.”

The Octavinelle dorm leader barely listened to his friend's request as he also crowded over Idia’s phone, the other five dorm leaders looking down at the screen as a pair of familiar eyes stared back at them.

“Where is Idia? Can you please hand me back to him?”

Riddle blinked at the sprite on the screen before looking back at Idia with a frown.

“Explain yourself, Shroud.”

Idia whimpered as he hung his head low in shame.

“[Y/N]-san...I mean...the Prefect left to go to RSA for a whole month, right? Crowley said it was to help them find a way back home but apparently there was some trouble there too and...and he brought them to fix it...”

Malleus’s neutral expression changes into something a bit sadder while Kalim lets out what everybody was thinking.

“To take them away so suddenly...I didn’t even get a chance to give them a goodbye party!”

“They’re only away for a month, Kalim.” Vil’s eyes stay on Idia’s phone screen.

“But I’m sure a party would have let them know how much I would miss them!”

Riddle clears his throat, “That still doesn’t explain anything about what I am seeing. Why in the world do you have something that looks like...that looks so much like them on your phone!”

Idia was sure this was hell. Of all the people to catch him using his phone during a dorm leader meeting, why did it have to be Riddle? What was he even supposed to answer to that question! That he missed talking to [Y/N]-san about the new animes that were releasing this week that he had purposefully made an AI from data Ortho had collected on them and their mannerisms?

He would rather die!

“I--I was testing a new AI! Just...for schedules and stuff like that! And I didn’t have anything else to base it on so I just took [Y/N]-san’s information and made a prototype! It’s not just going to go out to the public like that! They can customize it however they like--!”

Azul hums as he taps the screen, the sprite giggling as he touches their cheek before looking up at all of them expectantly.

“...A prototype, huh.” he smiles and leans back while taking his phone out, “Everybody stop crowding around him, we might as well be breaking his arm slowly at this point.”

The rest of the dorm leader's move back with only some protest, Idia’s eyes shining as he looks up at his other friend.

“Azul-shi…”

The dorm leader of Octavinelle grins, “If it’s a prototype then that means it needs users, correct? More people to test it out?”

“Eh?”

Azul puts his phone in front of Idia and smiles at him like he was just about to close a rather important business transaction.

Idia presses his phone to his chest as if Azul was about to take it, looking around nervously as the other dorm leaders take their phones out and set it in front of him.

“If it’s an application for scheduling then I could use it to keep Heartslabyul’s matters in check. I’ll take one too.”

“Ruggie is gonna be busy during exams...this thing better work as an alarm.”

“Surely this would help me keep track of my schedule for both the Monstro Lounge and school. I’ll take one with a statistics program built in, Idia”

“Oh!! I want mine to be able to sing! And can I also get them in Scarabia’s dorm uniform? I want to see what [Y/N]-san would look like!’

“I’ll take that as well. I also want a photo re-touch feature as well as one hour updates as to what is going on in my Magicam account.”

Each phone was placed in front of him as Idia felt his head start to spin. He just wanted to keep this thing a secret only for himself! He wasn’t even planning to release it, it was all just a lie so they wouldn’t know his greatest shame!

A shadow was casted over him, Idia looking up slowly as Malleus smiled and placed his phone down.

“I am eager to see your finished product, Shroud.”

The tarts in front of him looked absolutely delicious.

Trey had really outdone himself this time. The strawberries were cut into perfectly neat shapes and the glaze over them made them so mouth wateringly shiny that he could practically taste the sweet treat without even having to taste it!

Which only made his want of one grow even more.

“And here comes the next batch.” Trey smiles as he puts down another plate in front of him, Riddle’s eyes now staring at that plate while his vice dorm leader cleans himself up.

“When did you say the Unbirthday party was going to be today?”

“A-At three o’clock sharp.”

Trey nods as he looks at the clock in the kitchen.

“Perfect. I promised to meet Jade to get some herbs he has been growing as well as letting him teach me how to make this one soup they had in the Monstro Lounge about a week ago.”

He grabs his phone and heads out, leaving Riddle with a quick goodbye and a promise that he would make it back as quick as possible.

Leaving him all alone with two plates filled with his favourite treat.

The dorm leader looks around once...then twice...checking if anybody was coming into the kitchen before going back to stare at the plates.

It wasn’t like he was going to grab one

The Unbirthday party today would be using pastries that Trey had made yesterday. It was the third of the month so the rules required a completely different pastry. The strawberry tarts were most likely for tomorrow.

So Riddle could wait. He was the Heartslabyul dorm leader after all so not only could he wait but he was required to wait! As the dorm leader he was to set an example and he couldn’t let himself be seduced so easily by just two plates of such yummy looking tarts--!

He quickly takes his phone out and looks down at the screen, face flushing as he tries to remember how Idia told him to open up the new app.

“[Y/N]-san…?”

A face peeks out from the corner of his phone, smiling as it recognizes his face and steps out while giving him a polite bow.

“Good morning, Riddle-san! What can I help you with?”

He can’t help a small rush of excitement at seeing the Prefect’s face after not seeing them for two weeks. Riddle would make an effort to stop and talk to them whenever they made their way to Heartslabyul that not seeing them for so long had almost thrown him off his schedule.

And...he missed the conversations he had with them.

As the dorm leader and a student in NRC he didn’t necessarily have time to go to any other events or take part in any of the shenanigans others would get up to, not that he necessarily wanted to, but it was entertaining when the Prefect talked about it with him.

It felt like they were letting him into their world.

So maybe this substitute would suffice...it was a scheduling app after all so it wasn’t like he was using it for pleasure only.

“Would you please repeat rule 56 of the Queen’s handbook?”

The AI clears their throat as a book animation appears before them.

“Rule number 56: On the third of April, black tea should be served along with pineapple tarts. Followed by a game of cards in which the loser must pour the Queen tea for the rest of the Unbirthday party.”

Riddle sighs as he looks back at the plate of tarts.

“...I guess I’ll wait until tomorrow…”

“Wait until what?”

He looks down at the AI, the sprite blinking in confusion as it waits for an answer. Idia had mentioned adding a conversational feature…

“There is no rule about what to eat tomorrow so I decided that we would have strawberry tarts.”

“Are those your favourite?”

Riddle nods and steps out of the kitchen, making his way to his room as he stared back at the open door.

“They are. Ever since I was little. I couldn’t have many because of--”

He decides to not go deep into the subject.

“I’m sure Trey’s pineapple tarts will be excellent. I will just have to wait until tomorrow to enjoy the strawberry ones.”

The AI hums before the book animation pops up again, looking down and flipping a couple of pages before speaking up.

“Riddle-san. While it does say that black tea should be served with pineapple tarts...it does state that it should be done for the Unbirthday party and the Unbirthday party only.”

He frowns, “Your point?”

“I am sure no rule would be broken if only the Queen has a tea party before the Unbirthday party. From what I am seeing here--”

They flip a couple more pages.

“There is no rule about a tea party of one enjoying a strawberry tart.”

Riddle blinks before looking down at his phone, the sprite smiling as they shut the small book and lets it disappear with a ‘poof.’

No rule would be broken...if it was only a tea part of one?

He looks down at the AI when he hears them giggle.

“Riddle-san looks really happy.”

A blush covers his face at being called out on how big his smile probably was.

“Did I help in any way?”

The dorm leader takes a deep breath before smiling as he looks down at the phone and presses his fingertip on top of their head, rubbing it back and forth as if they were petting them. Something he knew he could never really do with them in real life lest he was looking to get odd looks.

“More than enough. Would you like to accompany me during this tea party?”

“Yes please!”

Riddle nods before looking around once more and clearing his throat.

“And...would you refer to me as ‘dorm leader’ from now on?”

The sprite nods as they give him a polite bow.

“Yes, dorm leader!”

He would need to send his report of the app as quickly as possible, Idia had really outdone himself this time...maybe he could ask if he could get them dressed up in the Heartslabyul uniform?

Riddle still wished you would hurry back.

“Leona-san! Please wake up!”

The blankets on the bed wriggled a bit as the phone was tousled over from one side of the bed to the other, the sprite inside frowning as they tried again.

“Leona-san! Please wake up! Ruggie-san texted you!”

A hand comes out of the blankets before holding the phone up.

“Read the text out loud then.”

Sighing, the AI pulls the text up and reads out loud.

“Please be awake by the time I get there, Leona. I need to make sure I get your signature on these papers for the dorm budget. If you don’t I’ll hold your lunch captive!”

Leona’s face finally pops up from under the blanket, the man sitting up and running a hand through his hair as he speaks up again.

‘Oi. What time is it?”

“It is 3:14 in the afternoon, Leona-san.”

“And when did Ruggie send the text?”

“At 3:00 o'clock.”

He groans and lays back down, the pillows flying about as he holds the phone to his face and smiling when he sees the sprite looking down at him worriedly.

“You really do look like them…” Leona whispers before tapping the screen so that he is poking the sprite’s cheek, “What is that face for?”

“I’m just worried for you, Leona-san. Too much sleep is a symptom of some sicknesses so--”

“Hah? You think I would get sick so easily?” he yawns and stretches, “I’m different from humans. Beastmen need a lot more sleep than regular humans do so...I’m just doing what my body tells me.”

Green eyes watch a notepad appear before the AI as they write down the information, smiling as they close it up and watch it disappear.

“I’ll keep that information in mind so I can serve Leona-san better. Thank you so much.”

Leona blinks at the words before a lazy smile crosses his face.

“Serve me better, huh? Never thought I would hear you say that.”

Usually the herbivore would be frowning and telling him to get up and actually take charge of his dorm and how he didn’t act like any grown up they knew. The sprite, however, tilts their head in confusion before speaking up once again.

“I am yours, after all.”

“Damn right you are.”

He looked at the phone a bit more, the sprite smiling up at him as he poked their cheek or patted their head. A part of him wondered if you would react like that with him as well. You always seemed so annoyed with his antics yet you never failed to come back to talk to him, telling him how he needs to get his act together if he is ever planning to go back to the Afterglow.

Leona would bet money that if he patted your head out of nowhere you would be highly flustered. Getting praise from him was something that didn’t happen often, after all.

“What day is it?”

“The 12th day of April, Leona-san.”

Another two weeks of you being gone. He frowns and closes his eyes as he thinks about you meeting those other students. RSA was just full of idiots...like his brother--

“Dammit.”

He slams the phone down but blinks when he hears a small yelp, turning the phone back around to find the AI looking rather frazzled with their eyes closed and hair all over the place.

“Shit. Are you....okay?”

Great, he was asking an application if it was okay. He could understand why Idia would hide this, right now he felt like he was crazy.

“Y--Yes! It was just unexpected!”

The sprite fixed itself up quickly and smiled back at Leona.

“Are you okay though, Leona-san?”

The dorm leader chuckled and nodded as they set the phone down gently and laid down next to it. At least that part was very much like you, worrying about others before focusing on yourself.

“You’re not going to complain? I almost just threw you.”

Without missing a beat, the AI stands up and looks at him.

“Leona-san is still working hard despite his body telling him to sleep. My program tells me that it would be a natural emotion to feel frustrated if you are not allowed to do something you want. Normal actions of frustration speak of physical manifestations such as kicking, punching or throwing. I was simply calculating it for it to be the latter and for it to happen towards a pillow. I’ll make sure to fix my calculations next time.”

He shakes his head and sets the phone down gently.

“Weird thing. You shouldn’t forgive someone so easily after they wronged you.”

“But you didn’t wrong me, Leona-san. I didn’t feel any pain. I just want to make sure you are feeling your best! You are my number one priority!”

This machine is going to make him go insane, he knows you would never say that but the fact that Idia had gotten your voice down so well that it was almost as if you had just told him he was your number one---

He was already getting a headache.

“Set an alarm for an hour. Ruggie will take around that long anyway.” Leona lays down and wraps the blankets around him.

“Of course. Alarm set for one hour. Would you like to be woken up with a personalized message?”

Leona hummed before grinning.

“Wake me up by calling me ‘King’.”

The sprite fixes its settings before giving a polite bow.

“Yes, my King. Please enjoy your rest.”

After this he would send his report to Shroud and maybe ask for an outfit upgrade. He only needed to show him some Afterglow clothes and the nerd would probably be able to make the AI wear them, right?

Whatever, the moment you came back Leona would make sure that you gave him some headpats for making him wait so long.

Oooh, how about some HCs for Vil, Malleus, & Riddle in a alien space AU? Humanity advanced to the point where we could interact with other species in this AU, who’s the alien/what planet did each of the boys come from and what is their job? Any significant culture tidbits that are unique to their species?

If you want to include the Reader, Reader can be one of the best and most accomplished space explorers who specializes in cataloging new species of aliens and learning as much about them as possible for the development of future earth-friendly interactions :))

Alien AU with Vil, Malleus, and Riddle

Did you know that there is a planet out in the galaxy that has a carbon-rich composition? Basically, it’s a planet that could be made entirely out of diamond. Yeah, Vil is definitely a creature from that kind of planet.

He’s an alien born from the diamond material. I see him having a sparkling, crystalline body and eyes that look like they shift color when you look at it from a certain angle. I also see him having a very long, tall, and lithe body. Feet that end in sharp points and long, slender claws.

Taking notes from his Overblot design, perhaps he has diamond crystals forming a halo-like crown from his head and other crystals that fan out around his waist like how it does for his bodice.

Has some sort of telekinetic or crystal manipulation power that lets him control crystals. He often uses it to keep a number of beautiful, diamond feather-like tails to trail after him. Can fan out his “tails” as a threat display, to beguile/charm, and as a weapon. Those gems cut!

Vil is a guardian of his home planet among others of his species. I get the feeling a lot of people would be greedy over the diamonds found only on his world and he often has to scare and fend illegal miners off.

Though he is a fierce protector, I bet his planet’s culture may spend a lot of time preening themselves. Shining and shaping their bodies to be the most beautiful around. Vil is among one of the more popular diamond aliens for the hard work he puts into grooming himself.

I imagine him staying within his guardian position, but he may be more open to negotiations for better trading and revenue with other planets between the diamonds his home makes and materials beyond their world. He wants to see his planet flourish but not with thieves trying to hurt the environment.

Basically, a beautiful ambassador that’s gonna charm the hell out of you to start an ethical business with his home world.

BIG SPACE DRAGON. He’s a huge creature that borders on the line between so beautiful but also so strange and foreign. Has a wyvern-like body structure with wings that are structured like how a bat’s wings are. His “hands” are pretty much the wings and they connect all the way down to his ankles.

The membrane is a beautiful glassy green and when he takes flight, you can see the stars shine through them.

His skin is a smooth, but tough leathery black that has an iridescent property to them. When he moves in the light, it’s like a rainbow shines across his form.

Definitely has multiple eyes. He has his main vibrant green eyes and then a couple more positioned between where his horns are. Also split jaw because it isn’t an alien dragon unless it’s unhinging its jaw and having three jaws lined with razor sharp teeth.

Malleus is a mysterious alien entity that not a lot of people have been able to make contact with or research him. The only evidence people know of his existence are distant photos of him. What looked to have been a comet streaking across the sky at first was actually Malleus in flight. He was moving so fast and with such force that he was able to appear like a comet.

Malleus leads a very lonely life as per usual. He’s a creature that safekeeps his galaxy, flying across the sky and visiting various planets to make sure they’re doing okay. He does have friends in the form of his caretaker and two other aliens that act as his entourage but they trail far behind him. It takes ages for them sometimes to catch up to him while he patrols his galaxy.

Couldn’t he just stop and relax for a while? Well, that’s kind of a problem. You see, like how a shark constantly needs to keep swimming forward, Malleus is the same in that flying around the galaxy keeps him alive. The cosmic energy of the galaxy is drawn to him, powering him with his alien abilities. If he just stopped and hunkered down somewhere, he would be basically stopping himself from gaining energy and would slow his functions down to deathly levels.

So sadly, Malleus flies around the galaxy as a lonely creature, doing a thankless job people don’t even realize he’s doing. Maybe one day there could be a ship that could keep up with this celestial dragon and join him in his galaxy patrols…

Literal child of the sun. He is an entity born from the heat and flame of a sun. He looks like a humanoid composed entirely of flame with burning bright eyes and two wisps of fire that make his signature heart antennae.

You’d think a person born from the sun would keep himself far from other living beings, but actually Riddle has access to a suit that allows him to not harm other living beings. The suit also maintains a comfortable high temperature for him to live in.

Riddle has made contact with other intelligent lifeforms you see, be they human or otherworldly, that’s up for you to decide. Either way, with this communication, people have been able to study him, figure out what kind of alien he is, and actually offer him a chance to step off his sun home.

Since his first contact and being able to leave his sun, Riddle has now started to lead a somewhat normal life. Learning what he can, learning about other living beings, and figuring out what he likes! Even as an alien, Riddle is still a studious and hardworking individual.

While he can lead a more enriched life, Riddle needs to still stay within the system of his sun. He is connected to that sun, whatever happens to it, same goes for him. He also needs to spend a good amount of time returning to the surface of his sun to bask in its energy before going back to doing his own thing.

I imagine the others of Heartslabyul being other humans or aliens that were the first people to make contact with Riddle. In due time, the relationship of researcher and subject turned to fast friends between all of them and Riddle is really grateful to this team for reaching out to him. Even though it seemed like he was an untouchable sun that would burn anyone who got too close.

Right now, Riddle is still in the midst of learning rapidly at the space station positioned in his solar system. At the rate he’s going, it wouldn’t sound too far-fetched for him to eventually be another researcher himself.

Yandere! Sentient! Twst - Player considers deleting the game due to glitches (Dorm Leaders)

A/N: Thought I'd combine these three asks since they're all quite similar in nature.

"[Name], I really think you should just delete that game off your phone."

The sternness in your partner's voice stunned you. They had mentioned the game acting strange at times, but this was the first time they had confronted you on this issue. Confused, you spoke up.

"Is this about the weird glitches again, [S/O]?" you asked.

"Yes, this is about those weird glitches. I swear, this isn't some simple bug or anything. This is another thing entirely. A game character doesn't curse at you just for opening the app. Shouldn't it be some welcome line or something?"

You frowned.

"I've never heard anything like that..." you said.

They sighed and shook their head. "It only happens when I open the app when you ask me to help you login."

You felt a chill run down your back.

"There's...no way, right?" you said, as you slowly unlocked your phone, immediately clicking on the application. You had to see it for your own, even though deep down you knew [s/o] was right. The game had been acting strange. Comments that were way too specific, the occasional glitching when you switched out a character for another.

With wary eyes you glanced at the opening screen; one more check, one more log in and if anything weird happens again, you will have to delete it. Sentimentality and story progress be damned. You could always watch videos on YouTube anyway.

Riddle

Livid. Riddle would be absolutely livid to hear the suggestion of you deleting the game.

"How DARE they! How insolent! They think know so much better, now do they?!"

Storming around, Riddle would be figuring out how to "chop off" your significant other's head. He won't have it!

He's put up with the fact that you're in a relationship because he convinced himself it wouldn't last long, but now this is the last straw.

"They're trying to cut me off from [Name]! For that, they WILL pay!"

But first, he has to make sure things run smoothly.

You won't delete the game if nothing odd happens...

With that, [s/o] will just look like a liar. How awful!

Once Riddle's calmed down, he will start creating a plan to cut your s/o out of your life, forever.

"I simply will not tolerate a rule breaker, and it so happens, Rule #444 states that "the heads of liars must be chopped off by midnight". That's really too bad, isn't it, [s/o's name]?"

Leona

What's this? You're actually listening to your partner and now you want to delete the game?

He would love to see you try

Sure, he could sit back and pretend that the game is all fine and dandy so that you'll think your partner was lying and being petty, but that's boring, even if it is the easier way

You forget, he's the dorm leader of Savannaclaw; known for his drive to do what it takes to get his way

Don't you remember his plan from Chapter 2?

How offensive. [s/o name] is definitely taking way too much of your time if you managed to forget his role in the story

What?! You're going to delete the game?!

Panic surges through Azul as he combs through various alternate plans; it's okay, he's considered this possibility before

All he needs to do is craft a perfect plan to keep you from deleting the application, and to get that pesky human away from you!

It should be simple enough, but his fear clouds his judgment

Right, right! He has to address the immediate concern; that you were going to delete if you sensed something amiss again in the app

That's simple enough.

As long as he plays by the rules and keeps to the "character" the game developers originally intended, he'll be able to delay you, just by a few days

With a practiced smile, and lines that fit perfectly to script, he laughs to himself quietly;

Yes, you seem to be confused for nothing is out of place!

He may have to keep up this constricting act for now, but his plan has to be perfect if he's going to capture you.

Kalim

Oh, the poor boy

He's panicking! His mind is all over the place the moment he heard your words!

Thankfully Jamil is there to set him straight

"Act normal" Jamil instructed him.

Easier said than done, especially when it comes to someone as jumpy and excitable as Kalim

Kalim tries not to laugh a little too loudly or make remarks that shouldn't be in his lines, but it's so hard!

Gaining sentience was a dream come true!

He too, had been working behind the scenes to find ways to bring you into this world.

Your lover? You mean that useless potato scrap that thinks they know better?

They mean nothing to Vil. After all, surely you would choose a queen over some peasant?

Strangely enough, he's not too worried.

Seriously, gaining Fourth Wall breaking sentience was like something out of an anime or a game!

This is his realm! You can't possibly do anything to it when he's tampered so much with the game code!

You'll find your game uninstallable and registered as a default application for your phone!

Idia feels a little too proud of himself for forseeing this possibility. He's never been so prepared in his life!

"Hihihi, it's all in place! So what if the game continues glitching? You can't do anything about it! Hihihi, who would have thought even some shut-in nobody freak like me can do cool things!"

But right- he almost forgot about your partner...

How annoying. Game code he can deal with, but some irl person? No way...

"Ahh, what a pain... I need to hurry up with the program...then maybe you can leave that dumb normie behind..."

Malleus

You want to delete the game because it's acting weird, you say?

Malleus is disappointed; he was hoping he could enjoy your presence and watching you go about your daily life for a little longer.

It's alright though, he just has to speed things up a bit!

He could care less about you deleting the game;

With Lilia's help, he's found a way to creep in to your phone and has since been existing as an undetectable character within several other applications.

A little longer and he's completely certain his magic will be able to transport into your world.

How exciting!

When he does, he hopes you will celebrate with him as well.

If you won't invite him to your world... well, he'll just have to invite himself, wouldn't he?

Rick Ratcliffe Headcanons Revised;

His full name is Richard "Rick" Perseus Ratcliffe. Yes, he's sorta named after his dad's pug. He knows this and pointing it out will only earn you a black eye

He is three years older than Mal.

He has a baby pug named Prometheus.

He gets along with the Native Americans and the settlers' kids when the barrier is brought down.

One time, during a very violent storm, Sammy fell overboard and Rick jumped in after him and saved him.

Funnily enough, he saves his friends and random kids from drowning alot.

So much so that his friends have started joking that he's a regular John Smith. They call the act itself 'John-Smithing'. Rick hates it.

He roughhouses rather violently with his friends/crew mates for fun, mainly Clay.

They call it 'Extreme Roughhousing'. It's become kind of a sport on the isle.

One time while roughhousing with Clay, he went a little...overboard.. and Clay ended up going through a 2 story window. Clay was fine besides a few cuts and bruises, surprisingly, but Rick couldn't stop apologizing for it and felt very guilty. Still does.

It doesn't help that Clay keeps fondly bringing it up.

He's apart of the Gaston twins' hunting club as well as Harriet's crew and Diego's band.

He plays the drums, if you're curious.

He likes reading, firing off rifles, target practice, ships, sword-fighting, swimming, sailing, playing games (mainly cards), sports, and partying.

He and Mad Maddy are an item.

They rarely fight but when they do you better duck and cover.

He owns a pistol key chain that Maddy actually got for him.

He usually gifts her dolls.

His crush on her developed till they were 15.

Maddy's developed around the same time.

His dad often forces him to fight him when he gets pissed off and Rick has gotten hurt several times during these battles. And has several scars to show for it.

He never beats his dad during these battles and it pisses him off.

He's a bit of an introvert.

no matter how much he denies being ANYTHING like his father, it is obvious that he does take after him in some aspects.

He can be vain, persuasive, rude, arrogant, calculative, selfish/greedy, sarcastic, and downright ruthless at times (just like his father).

But he's also calm, cool, and collected most of the time and cares for others (mainly children and his friends). He's protective and not afraid to call people out on their shit, and he's willing to put his own needs and wants aside for those he cares about.

He wears old, worn-out, black and new England blue (a color) sneakers as well as torn-up black skinny jeans, and a new England blue tshirt with a golden pug and two silver, crossed swords on it. He also wears (fake) gold dud earrings, a silver nose ring, and a reddish-pink jacket that he insists is not pink.

He's embarrassed by his dad's feminine attire and his behavior in general, so he tries his best to distance himself from him (which doesn't always work).

However, just because he's embarrassed by it doesn't mean he won't fight anyone who mocks his little brother, Rory, for these same attire.

In Harriet's crew along side him are Claudine Frollo, LeFou Deux, Big Murph, Mad Maddy, Anthony Tremaine, Jade of Agrabah, Diego de Vil, Ginny Gothel, Clay Clayton, Sammy Smee, and the Gaston twins.

His best female friend and surrogate sister is Claudine Frollo.

His best male friend is Clay Clayton.

He gave Lee (Lefou Deux) the shovel talk when he found out about him and Claudine.

He's two years older than Claudine and a year older than Lee so it was a necessary thing to do.

Even if one was happy with him for it.

Rory is 5 years youner.

He looks after his brother and other children of Ratcliffe's men (that got sent to the isle). Like Wyatt Wiggins.

He loves his pug and his father's pug very much.

He hates hats and will never wear one. Except for Maddy and Claudine. And Rory. And Rachel. and the kids of his father's former crewmen.

He also takes care of the honorary members of Harriet's crew because that's what friends are for.

It took him awhile to warm up to Lil Shang and Chaca when when they joined their crew because of how frequently they fought with Harriet. But he did warm up to them eventually.

Derek Dwarfson, on the other hand, he accepted immediately.

Riddle Rosehearts:

He was completely caught off guard. You were walking next to him one moment and now you were on the ground. He drops whatever he’s holding and rushes to your side. He calls your name out several times in a firm yet worried tone. Riddle also makes sure to check your breathing as well. A relieved sigh escapes his lips

The redhead slings your arm around his shoulder and drags you to the infirmary. He struggles a bit to say the least. He was lugging an unconscious person to the other side of the school, but he digresses as your health and safety is a priority at the moment

Riddle lets the staff tend to you and waits by your side. He holds your hand, playing with your fingertips and finding himself staring out the window. His eyebrows are furrowed. He’s your boyfriend, your significant other, yet he was so caught up in his studies and duties as a prefect that he didn’t see the signs

By the time you wake up, he’s fallen asleep at your bedside. You card your fingers through his hair and his lashes flutter

“You worried me.”

You two talk for a bit about your health. It mainly consisted of Riddle lovingly scolding you for not taking better for yourself

Leona Kingscholar:

He sensed something off about you that day. Your eye bags were dark and deep. He shrugged it off because you told him you stayed up a tad too late to catch up on homework

When hanging around in his room afterschool, you fainted. You were sitting at his desk and he was seated at the edge of his bed. You were babbling about your history classes, but Leona could tell you were trying to hold on to your consciousness

Eventually, you fainted. He clicks his tongue before lunging towards you, wrapping his arm around your waist, catching you before you fell onto the floor

He lays you on his bed before going to find a glass of water for you

Leona comes back with the glass, but also a bowl of water and a wet towel too. He places the towel onto your head. Now, all he can do is wait. You’re breathing. You’re fine– just overworked, but it’s only a matter of time before you wake

When you gain consciousness, he just lets you talk. He hugs you if you need him to, running a hand through your hair. There’s the occasional forehead kiss as well. He’s quiet for the most part, but he’ll admit you worried him

After you promise to take better care of yourself, he climbs onto the bed and drapes the blanket over the both of you, telling you to get some more sleep. He won’t let you go until you’re well rested

Azul Ashengrotto:

Like Riddle, Azul panics, rushing to your side and calling out your name. He firmly shakes your shoulder. With no response, he scopes you up in his arms and carries you to the Octavinelle dormitory

There, he tends to you. He lays you on your back and raises your legs to help blood flow to your head. He takes off your shoes and loosens your tie– anything to make your recovery more comfortable

He’s honestly very worried but he knows that if he panics, he might be doing more harm than good

You regain your consciousness quickly, but he’s not letting you walk away from him without proper rest. Don’t brush it off like it’s nothing. You’re overworked and you just fainted!

He listens to your troubles and offers you some advice as someone who’s always busy too. He offers to help you with your work if it’ll lighten the load in exchange that you’ll rest properly

Can’t have you faint on him again, now can we?

Kalim Al-Asim:

He invited you over to Scarabia to let loose after exams. He knows you’ve been working hard as of late so he wanted you to relax with a small banquet, filling food and feel-good vibes. Kalim nearly drops his drink after hearing a loud thud. He turns around to see your lifeless figure on the floor

His eyes widened as he rushed to your side. Students crowd around you both; he can hear their distant whispers. His heartbeat rings throughout his ears, muffling their voices.  He sighs when he sees your chest rise and fall

Kalim isn’t quite sure exactly what to do. His thoughts are all over the place, but he knows that he should get you out of her quickly. He could save the questions for later.

He slings your arm around his shoulder. He crosses paths with Jamil on his way to the bedroom. He gives him a silent nod. The vice prefect quickened his pace and tends to the common room

The prefect ushers you onto his bed and turns on the fan. He isn’t familiar with fainting, but he is familiar with tending to someone who’s unconscious. Jamil has been poisoned a handful of times on his behalf and he’s seen the maids tend to him. While you don’t need an antidote, you need to be laid on your back and have anything tight loosened. He places your feet on a tower of pillows, redirecting your blood flow to your head

When you wake, he embraces you wholeheartedly. Kalim refrains from bombarding you with questions as to why you fainted albeit he is thankful that you told him out of your own volition. He’ll definitely offer to do something lighthearted together to ease your mind. How about a game of mancala?

Vil Schoenheit:

He was already scolding you for overworking yourself. You can’t hide those eye bags from him. He’s been doing his best to keep you in check– making sure you eat three meals a day and sleep on time. However, you have to meet him halfway

Vil’s breath hitches as he sees your figure fall towards the ground. Luckily, he catches you by the wrist, pulling you close to him before gently laying you on your back.

He tries to compose himself, but that nearly gave him a heart attack. Sure, he knew about your workload, but he didn’t expect you to faint

He brushes his feelings aside to tend to you. Your health is most important to him as of now. He’s not unfamiliar with fainting. Fortunately, Vil has never fainted himself, but he’s had his share of fainting incidents. His colleagues often fainted due to overworking as well

Honestly… what was he going to do with you? He shakes his head as he checks for your pulse and breathing. He doesn’t hesitate to search up ways to help someone when fainting. He wants to take care of you thoroughly and to the best of his abilities. He may have witnessed others tend to an individual who has fainted, but he’s no expert

Be prepared for an earful when you wake up. Vil has a lot to say to you. You should be taking care of yourself. Know your limits. You can’t put forth your best efforts if you’re dead tired. He plans a self care day for you both

No if’s, and’s, or but’s. You’re going to rest. Vil understands the need to overexert yourself, going the extra mile for your work, your passions, but there’s a limit. Success comes from resting as much as it comes from hard work. Cut yourself some slack, Fairest

Idia Shroud:

It’s a miracle Idia didn’t faint himself. He’s scared out of his mind. Are you alright? A thousand thoughts race through his mind. What happened? You were fine a moment ago! Please don’t tell him you just died on the spot. Or worse– possessed by a ghost?!

Worst case scenarios flood his mind. Some of them are completely irrational, but he doesn’t consider that. Anything is possible

He mutters your name under his breath repeatedly as he shakes your shoulder. Each time, his voice grows louder and louder

Idia runs to get some help. He returns with Ortho who scans your lifeless figure, confirming that you are indeed alive, just overworked and exhausted. He urges his brother to carry you back to Ignihyde to let you rest properly. The floor isn’t comfortable for humans

Reluctantly, he drags you back to his room. He stays by your side. He holds your hand while playing a game. The poor prefect nearly drops his phone when you squeeze his hand, letting him know you’re awake

Idia starts rambling. He was worried sick! His stammering comes to a halt when you kiss him on the cheek as thanks

In turn, he buries his head into the crook of your neck. He’s red to the tips of his ears now. He honestly didn’t do much. He wishes he could have done more to lighten your workload to be honest

Nevertheless, Idia puts on a brave face for you and crawls into the bed with you

Malleus Draconia:

Color him surprised. You were standing and then you weren’t. He turned around once he heard a loud thud only to find you on the floor. At first, he thought you had tripped over your own feet. You were a klutzy beastie after all. It wouldn't be the first time this happened. He found it endearing

Malleus chuckled as he crouched down to offer you a hand. He blinked twice when you didn’t take his hand. You didn’t even say a word. He pokes your cheek and cocks his head

“(y/n)?”

Still no response. Now he’s worried. What happened to you? You were still breathing, but you weren’t awake. Have you fallen asleep? But in broad daylight… He brushes your hair aside to examine your face. You did have dark circles, but he doesn’t believe that would be the cause of this. You would have yawned more frequently

Well, no matter. It would be best to get you to bed. Leaving you in the hallway wasn’t  a viable option. You would certainly be more comfortable on a mattress

He sighs as he scoops you up in his arms and teleports to his bedroom

There, he lays you on his bed, tucking you in snugly. Malleus places a gentle kiss on your forehead

He waits by your side. If you show signs of distress in your slumber, then he might enchant your dreams with a little bit of magic to make you sleep more comfortably

When you wake, Malleus will lend you an ear to listen to your troubles. If you insist on going back to your work, then he’ll sit you back down and prop open a book and begins reading. You find yourself slowly falling asleep

I come bringing ideas and headcanons.

OK, so we all already know what The Three oldest archons abilities. So I’ve come up with my own ideas we could use for the younger archons! (And yes I’m grouping Ei, Venti and Zhongli as the older siblings since Ei Is 1000 years old Venti is 2,500 and Zhongli is 5,000-6,000 and the other archons are still in the hundreds I think)

For Dendro archon!Reader

Definitely a Bow User. And Is a Healer. But the their Ult can cause damage

I have a theory That during the Archon War The dendro Archin created the Regisvines to fight for them, and only two were left. I also Headcanon The dendro archon can bring plants to life and overwrite what each plant can do. (Maybe even bring mushrooms to life 👀).

Maybe They can create a giant plant from the ground that spreads Healing energies and since this is a god where talking about can Cure Curses (Ahem Vils Curses Ahem) and major Diseases and what not.

For Their Ult maybe a giant plant monster (kinda like how Gouba and Oz exists ) that will attack for them (could make for fun combos with different elements like if the dendro archon was wet Hydro Plant monster)

For Hydro archon!reader

Polearm or sword (theirs way too many Hydro Catalyst) Healer and Dps, Why? Cause I say so.

You’ve mentioned how Hydro archon summons a giant wave? I’ll do you one better and their E skill summons a giant sea creature of your choosing to soak the fighters (A cool visual is their polearm turning into a big dream catcher then going swoosh and Baam Maybe like A giant Water Koi fish finna drown your ass *ahem ace ahem*)

Now mihoyo likes to reference Their character form honkai impact into genshin impact (and since they took a characters look from Honkai and another characters abilities with the whole Dual ego thing for Raiden shogun and Ei) I’m gonna base this Ultimate Skill From a character from Honkai (for research search up Herrsercher of Sentience)

Since the Hydro archons whole thing is about Justice. Now here me out here. WATER WHIP. Just a giant whip of water that can go on for miles (maybe it’s salty maybe it’s like fresh water depends on our readers mood lolol). Like, It’s whip of water strong enough to cut diamond or whatever it would be very cool (Kalim would wanna see if he could do something like that with his UM Que jamil trying to stop him)

Maybe their hair turns into water too.

Pyro archon! Reader

Claymore. A Big strong war god needs a big strong weapon. Dps and Defense.

Now It’s not just one claymore, It’s DUAL-CLAYMORE, why? Cause it’s a war god that’s why!

I like to think the shield is like Xinyans and XiangLings combined and it’s constantly sending off tiny Fire Discs. Or just symbols shooting fire like what the Pyro Abyss mages can do

For Ultimate I like to think it’s like Childes Daggers but Bigger and on fire just a huge sword made of fire.

The pyro archon doesn’t think just BURNS. and STABE

Cryo archon! Reader

I can’t really come up with much for Cryo archon. But maybe a Catalyst that can summon a giant blizzard that drops down giant ice swords (kinda like Ganyus)

Definitely a sub DPS.

Maybe a healer too since The Tsaritsa is The archon of love?

What do you think about these abilities? Since you mentioned that the students and staff would assume their just strong mages I tried to be very creative with these abilities.

Also how I think the lore could go is maybe somewhere after leonas overblot and before azuls, Crowly has found a way to send Yuu home reluctantly. Yuu, grim and the aduece duo, and maybe some of heartslaybul or savana claw whoever you want come with them to the office to send them home. But Yuu is contemplating whether or not they WANT to go home now. But something goes wrong, maybe grim messes up the spell for the portal to work becuase (although he doesn’t want to admit it ) doesn’t want Yuu leaving, and their greeted with a surprise guest. Now this gives Yuu time to decide if they genuinely wanna go home and when teh archon finally has the materials they need to create a portal Yuu will tell them to leave the portal open (maybe put it into a tiny pocket mirror like the how we have the teapot) because they wanna stay for a little while or just until grim graduates (Que a happy fire cat ) and the archon whose grown attached to some people here was like ok “let our friends visit whenever they want, only if their headmaster allows it”

Now onto the headcanons

Anemo Archon! Reader and Mondstadt! Yuu

Everyone expected a lot of things not a person with Green eyes and (H/C) hair with green highlights. And an odd thing about them was the glowing stone on their person, Yuu didn’t have that?

Everyone’s freaking out because they’ve accidentaly taken another person from Yuus world.

And since Venti Is a well known famous bard In teyvat let’s say or Dear (y/N) is also a known bard and is not at all freaking out about what’s going on in fact let’s say our dear reader recognizes Yuu! And so now (Y/N) is now a new student (and a new headache for Crowley) in the ramshackle dorm! Yup! Just an ordinary human bard, Ehe~.

I’ll leave the rest of this up to you, Where Yuu has to explain what the world of teyvat is like (and why Yuu doesn’t have a phone (and a vision) because Twisted wonderland is far more advance in Technology and teyvat has JUST invented the Camera)

Also I head canon that people with Visions can summon their weapons and object with their visions, ok? Ok. To make things make more sense when reader pulls out a lyre from floating glitter.

Geo archon!reader and Liyue! Yuu

Same things happend here, but hey! We’ve summoned a Funeral Consultant! A very (ahemATTRACTIVEahem) Wise funeral consultant at best!

Since the god of Inazuma isn’t “Dead” or hasn’t left and the people know what their beloved archon looks like, Yuu will definitely Be Freaking the fuck out

Anyways, for skills of the archons-

Dendro Archon

I think they'd use a sword or a catalyst tbh, if the skills you listed, it makes a little more sense to have them be more of a catalyst

For their elemental skill, I think they'd summon/throw something similar to Klee's and Aloy's elemental skill except they heal if someone in your party is nearby, their healing could scale by their EM or ER.

For their burst, I like your head canon for the Dendro Archon, so I might go off from that and your idea for their burst, just more tweaking. The dendro archon would be able to summon a large plant that heals AND deals Dendro damage by sapping mobs hp. The amount of life sapping it does and the healing would scale off their original HP (artifacts that give hp won't be of use)

Hydro Archon

I agree with hydro polearm or sword. Too many catalysts

Mmm... To be honest, I think you should have the burst be her skill... The whip idea is intriguing, but I think it would work more for a skill which can allow them to use it several times before waiting for the CD to go down. I think the whip skill would work better with Crit as well.

AND AS FOR THE MENTIONS OF WAVE AND A SEA CREATURE, I'LL DO YOU ONE BETTER BUT FOR THEIR BURST!!!! They summon a large tsunami which takes form of a monster/animal and lunges at the mobs (similar to Zhongli tossing down a dumbbell), however the amount of damage the burst can do is depending on if they are afflicted by the wet status the mobs are afflicted by. If already afflicted with hydro, the mobs would receive double damage while those with other elements afflicted on them would receive the element combination DMG and normal DMG while those that aren't affected by an element, they would receive normal damage. The amount of damage the burst does is scaled by EM.

Pyro Archon

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA CLAYMORE

Hmmm.... I think the skill would be they set an AoE with magma, mobs will receive damage from it and will continue to receive damage if they stay on it, but those who are in party, they will receive an ATK boost that scales from HP.

For the burst, I think I'll use a character from Honkai Impact with their special move which is Murata Himeko in Vermilion Knight: Eclipse battlesuit. Pyro Archon uses their claymore and another claymore but made of pyro and is far more larger and their cut scene has the Archon raise the pyro claymore above their head and slam it down to send pyro erupting from the ground (similar to the pyro axe wielding hilichurls)

Cryo Archon

I agree with catalyst

Mmmmmm.... I'd say her skill would beeeeee... Trapping several mobs or so in ice. They can either do 2-4 ice traps depending if you got their c1. (The ice traps are similar to Mirror Maidens traps BTW but it deals or affects the mobs with cryo)

For burst, I like the idea of summoning a blizzard/swords, but it's similar to Ganyu's. SO I'LL DO YOU ONE BETTER!!!! Cryo Archon will summon a blizzard which freezes mobs without having to use hydro, the freeze status lasts for a total of 15 seconds or higher if you got their c3

Hmmm... I like the idea, but imma tweak it a bit. The archon was in fact summoned through that portal because Grim decided to mess it up just for Yuu to stay a little longer, and so the Archon now resides in Twisted Wonderland as well in order to aide them until they can return back to their world. That way it makes more sense and makes it more fun.

Yuu would be a bit jealous about them because they got a vision.
