i'm still pissed about killing eve btw they abandoned so many interesting characters only to throw in new ones that they then didn't have the time to flesh out. the erotic tension got weaker the longer the show went on. completely unclear what on god's green earth happened between s3 and s4. the way they tried 'redeeming' villanelle just made her more boring. they half-assedly built up this mythology around The Twelve only to not really know where to go with it and have them all slaughtered in a one minute scene. and why was that? because it wasn't even worth looking at the murders because we wouldn't have recognized any of them because every major character already had some kind of twist or got killed off so it was just a room full of randos as far as the viewer was concerned.

I think part of why I've been in such a bum mood lately is they're upping the in-office days for no reason and it's couched in corpospeak like "we can take better advantage of in person spaces" as if we don't then go to have meetings on Teams while in the office anyway, as if being together isn't a distraction provable by studies on productivity. like I would feel less shit about it if they just out and said "fuck you peon, dance for me"
