there's a line from his fellow acolyte on epitaph that mentions it

and that makes sense to me, given how he saw himself after having his imperial knight implants forcibly removed, which left him missing part of his skull (and with a paralyzed arm), and removing his own psyker implants, which lost him an eye (and gave him nerve damage)

he calls himself a mutilated freak and says that calcazar was only interested in him for his sorcery. heinrix is the one who decided that he'd be more useful if he could look human again because, as he says, he's a psyker

his appearance is a reminder he's allowed to exist. it makes sense he might be a little vain about it

What was their Triumph? Do they take pride in it?

Talons managed to subdue a star system in sector Calixis into their network with the help of Vincent and Elayne, all with the combined effort of the two of them. This was an ambitious project that made them significantly rise into the ranks of the Syndicate's inner circle and to finally form a cartelle of their own, to start taking them seriously. So of course, they both take the most pride in this, saying otherwise would be an understatement.

I also do have a hilarious headcanon that the raven haired baroness Heinrix courted in Narvellon-19 was in the close alliance / relations with Syndicate, but he didn't manage to get something out of her and/or force her to cooperate with the Inquisition, as Talons had already knew this move and prepared ahead and bought her and her family's loyalty. Elayne suspected that this might be her but couldn't be sure, and Hein almost caught her on it. So it might be possible that Narvellon-19 was possibly in the star system mentioned in Triumph ig? xdd

How does Elayne approach conflict? Does she tackle problems head-on, or is coercion favourable to her?

She prefers the more peaceful resolution when it comes to conflicts usually. She's not too hesitant to bribe, to bargain, to manipulate others into swaying their decisions into her favor. She utilizes her skill of reading people well, knowing who to trust and who to not, adjusting her methods individually. The coercion option is of course viable, but is not something she strives to do and only approaches with it if other options are not proving effective.

how do you feel about THE scene in captain laserhawk (the one that went viral, the one where rayman is all sad and eating sushi off of… lol) or well, in better words, how did you feel about the sad and sorta deadbeat look rayman had briefly in captain laserhawk after getting laid off

OKAY. no. serious answer for a moment. how I felt about it... it made me feel really, really bad for rayman. I was so mad and upset on his behalf! the way he was treated makes me FUME everytime I think about it!! he didn't deserve any of that... poor guy.

and the way he copes with it :c drugs and alcohol and prostitutes... gah I just wanna give him a hug and hold him close and never let go. have him cry his heart out on my shoulder, I don't care. I just want him to know he's loved. that there's someone out there who will always care for him no matter how bad things spiral out of control. literally the "it's rotten work" "not to me, not if it's you" quote hdhhfdjsfh. I just love him so much and I think he deserved better. it hurts me to know what he had to go through! 😭 I wish so badly that I could have been there for him.
