You are so brave for saying klaine shouldn't have ended up together 😂 I fully agree but got full on threats and hate for it back in 2018 so I try not to mention it 😂 nice to see a fellow not-klaine-stan in the wild 👋
Lol, I try to stay away from glee discussions because I feel like every option I have is controversial. But I did watch glee a few years ago, so I did not follow the developments to get attached to the pairing because I just watched the whole show once it was done and I reached a point mid season 5 that I was just screaming at my screen every time they interacted lol Blaine cheated, he dated a dude who full on assaulted Kurt, there's the Kurt plot with Chandler, they were a disaster by the end of the show. Highly entertaining, not a good couple at all.

There’s one thing about Lois Lane that I never really questioned, because I come from a manga/anime fandom background, but the more comics I read, the more I read into it: Her eyes, specifically her purple eyes.
First row: Throne of Atlantis, Superman: Brainiac Attacks, DCAU’s Justice League
Second row: Red Son, DC Super Hero Girls, Superman the Animated Series
Third row: Rebirth’s Lois Lane Vol 2, Earth-118′s Dark Knights of Steel, Earth-686′s Superman Year One
And, yes, many versions of her have blue eyes, some green, some even brown. But those are all pretty normal eye colors. The purple stands out. Because from what I’ve encountered in DC comics and cartoons, aside from aliens, where everything goes when it comes to eyes/hair/skin color anyway, the only people with purple eyes are magic users (Anita Fite, Amy Winston, some versions of Zatanna).
Now, in the greater scheme of things, I doubt there is any intentional reason/meaning to this beyond “there are so, so, so many black haired blue eyed characters, let’s change it up slightly”, so her originally blue eyes get tinted purple to make her not look as identical to Wonder Woman as she does when artists choose the same eye-color and put them in civil clothes.
It still stands out, to me at least, considering the above mentioned usual character types who have purple eyes. Even though her actually having magic blood in the main timeline may never happen at this point, if it hasn’t happened so far, I think it’d make a great Elseworlds story.
Just, the potential of a born magic user Lois Lane! Magic, Superman’s only weakness aside from Kryptonite.
The duality of “she has the power to destroy him, but she would never use it” and “with this power, she is capable of fighting the only enemy who has a natural advantage against Superman” would add just an interesting layer to their dynamic.

me: this is a background character who's in one scene, has two lines, and is completely irrelevant to the rest of the story. i am going to stop obsessing over what to name him and use the random name generator on behindthename.com. i am going to accept the first thing it gives me and move the fuck on.

for anyone too young to know this: watching The Truman Show is a vastly different experience now, compared to how it was before youtube and social media influencers became normal
before it was like, "what a horrifying thing to do to a human being! to take away their autonomy and privacy, all for the sake of profits! to create fake scenarios for them to react to, just to retain viewership! to ruin their happiness just so some corporate entity could harvest money from their very humanity! how could anyone do something so evil?"
and now it's like, "ah, yeah. this is still deeply fucked up, but it's pretty much what every influencer has been doing to their kids for a decade now. probably bad that we've normalized this experience"

Your twitchy and unsteady hands are NOT from an excessive consumption of sugar and caffiene. You come from a bloodline that traces back to mighty sorcerers, your nerves are less suited for activities like surgery and more for the swift and sporadic movements needed to cast spells.
