one for my enemy -mid-read-conclusion¿?-

people of the internet,

I'm halfway reading 'one for my enemy' (specifically page 90, II. 14) and I've got a few thoughts I want to share;

besides the fact that I love olivie's writing style and the atmosphere she creates in her world, I found I like a lot her characters and their personalities.

in this case I would like to share that so far, I dislike one character (even though I feel like there is more to come?) and that is, the sunshine: Roma :)

SPOILER AHEAD

so this is a tiny 'study' around him because I feel pity for him:

till page 90, our lovely dima still is in a never-ending coma so his family, specifically his father and his middle brother feel a special need to take revenge on Mashas family, since they are the cause of his state.

and so we have Roma, who feels this forced need to take revenge on a very personal level. so I simply think that, he is using this opportunity, to level-up himself in his fathers eyes.

I feel like his hate for the Antonova's is forced on to him because of his family, so after the incident with Marya on Dima, he felt the need to the things in his own hands and prove himself capable to his father, using the most wicked ways he could possibly thing of.

I hate him as a character because he is so influenced by the need for attention and recognition from his father as well as his entire family, that he doesn't think logical anymore, his thoughts and emotions have been darkened up and influenced by his jealousy and the need to come on the surface and so he gathered mixed hate from various sources and decided to aim it and let it out on the antonova family.

like, he doesn't think smart, his technics for revenge are just poor and will definitely expose his plan but since this is the only avalaible option for him at that moment, he just makes dumb moves that will get his brothers and whole family in trouble. especially the way he pushes lev into a mess of dangerous things and expects him to overdo every task successfully. like bro..

simply put: Roma is so washed up with -understandable but also not understandable- hatred that blinds him all the way up. and so actually, the one who's in fault here, is koschei, his dad.

but who knows, maybe I'm wrong...

if you are currently reading the book as well OR/AND want to share some thoughts please drop your opinions, I'm desparate for conversation about this masterpiece.

surprises you with some basic ballroom dance skills. nice and easy waltz while he smirks ‘what didn’t think i knew how to do this?’ and he lifts his hand for you to turn, kissing you when you face him again

IWAIZUMI, ATSUMU, KOMORI, DAISHOU, tanaka, daichi, tendou, washio, kamasaki, kyoutani, tsukki

you hardly ask because this boy is always asking you. sometimes not even asking lol but he will snake his arms around you and move to the music - be it in your kitchen, at a party, or at the grocery store. he just wants to enjoy a little moment with you

BOKUTO, OIKAWA, OSAMU, HAKUBA, koganegawa, nishinoya, yamamoto, lev, tendou, tomas

knows you’re asking him for a slow dance and will start throwing it back for no reason other than him just being ~him~ yeah if this boy convinces you to join him in his imaginary dance party moment you are in deep my friend bc yall are fist pumping rn to some slow love song like celine dion and people are staring (eh let em stare)

will only do line dances but when those line dances do come on oh boy he’s dragging you to the dance floor without even asking you if you wanted to join. you have to smile at this man it’s inevitable. he’s having the time of his life with the cha cha slide and he is an angel pls dance with him

that guy that just knows more moves than you think and he shamelessly goes into the middle of the dance circles and points to you when everyone is cheering omg cringe but let’s be honest at least he’s fun - the type who will do the worm or some breakdancing move poorly but play it off humorously and everyone loves him i’m crying

cutie patootie feels a bit awkward on the dance floor but he will clap or move his arms a bit to the beat while you dance bc he likes watching you have fun and smile at him. yeah dad dance moves but that’s alright it’s hot on him - hype him up

USHIJIMA, IWAIZUMI, OSAMU, ASAHI, AONE, yamaguchi, sakusa, daichi, kinoshita, goshiki, numai, yahaba, reon

slightly similar to the dance circle bf but this guy will go f u l l o u t full out wow. okay it’s both wow and yikes HAHA. he’s truly using his whole range of motion akjsdfjf. might he be butchering all the dance moves and all the songs? yes. does he make you burst out into laughter telling him to stop? also yes. but that’s honestly what he’s aiming for. the idiot will do anything to make you laugh bc your laugh is his favorite thing in the whole world

For Anon, I hope you like this!! I love writing for these three, I’m not really sure why, maybe it’s because their personalities are so fun and different! Hopefully this makes sense, I don’t really know volleyball terms but I have an idea of each of the positions!!!

Bokuto Koutarou 

Omg please Bokuto would be so excited, bouncing up and down as he drags you into the gym

Even though he knows how short you are and what position you play, this mf is still going to beg you to block for him

“Please baby, please! Block for me!” And you’re standing there like Bokuto…. I can’t even reach the top of the net, how do you expect me to-

You two will find a happy medium where he spikes the ball and you receive it, that way he always gets the ball back to him 

Every time you make contact with the ball, expect praise from Bokuto like this man will shower you in compliments

“Babe, you’re the coolest libero ever!” “Are you sure you aren’t a secret ace, (Y/N)?”

Bokuto will sometimes show you his little tips and tricks he has learned over the years and when you applaud him he will literally stand all proud like he just won the Olympics 

He loooooves when you compliment his skills and praise him, he’s such a cutie 

Most times after your little practices Bokuto will take you out to get food like a little lunch date because he wants to treat his baby~

Bokuto will brag about you to everyone and say that if you were on their team then they would be unstoppable!!

“Was that too hard?” Bokuto asks, concern filling his voice and you give him a soft smile. Despite the sting your forearms are facing, it wasn’t that bad, you’re used to powerful balls like that.

“Don’t worry, Kou, I’m fine.” You reassure him and Bokuto instantly perks up again, his hair bouncing with excitement. 

“You’re the best, babe! Get ready for this one!” He sucks in a breath of air before tossing the ball up, setting it up for himself so he can smack it onto the other side of the court. You quickly move a few feet and fall back onto your butt at the impact, you still got the ball back up into the air and onto Bokuto’s side. Bokuto looks so impressed that he doesn’t even notice the ball falling above him, it drops on his head with a slight pop. Almost as if it didn’t happen, your boyfriend runs under the net and over to you. He pretty much tackles you to the ground and you try not to wince under his weight. 

“Are you okay?” Bokuto asks as he towers above you with his hands planted on either side of your head. You give him a comforting smile and reach up to push his slightly sweaty hair from his face. 

“Again, I’m fine Kou, you don’t have to worry.” Bokuto pouts at your words and you sit up to peck his lips, giving him a gentle kiss. “You need to get a headband, can you even see when your hair falls over your eyes like this?” You push the strands off his forehead, whenever his hair gets wet it falls onto his face.

“I don’t need a headband.” Bokuto grumbles and you place your hands on his thighs as he straddles you. 

“Mmm, okay,” Your tone is full of disbelief and Bokuto leans forward to bring his mouth to yours.

“I don’t! I’ll prove it!”

“How is you kissing me going to prove anything-“

Kuroo Tetsurou

Kuroo loves to see you in spandex so he will always invite you to practice with him

Please, his eyes never leave your ass and he stares so boldly and confidently

If you wear sweatpants to practice he will physically deflate like he will try not to look bothered but deep down he’s hurt that he doesn’t get to ogle his prize~

He is verrrryyy teasing,,, hehe he will purposely do stuff to make practice with him even harder just so he can watch you struggle

You want a ball? Okay, get it out of his hands that he’s holding above his head. He demands a kiss for anything you want 

Kuroo will idly chat with you while you two are playing like if you’re asking him to throw you balls to receive he will toss them at full speed while talking shit about anything

“He’s literally the shrewed type,” *throws two balls at you one after another* “like I would ever lose to a guy like that.” *cue you on the floor like Lev after the summer training camp*

There always comes a point in your little joint practice where Kuroo can no longer keep his hands to himself and ends up grabbing a handful of your ass

Yeah, practice usually ends after that because you ignore him to work on your own skills

Kuroo always makes it up to you though, he treats you to desert afterward </3 so he can fuck you on a full stomach

Kuroo’s frown quickly turns into a smile when you turn around to face him. The second you go back to stretching the pout returns to his face and he glares at the thick material covering your legs. It will ultimately be his downfall. 

“Are you going to stretch?” You call playfully and Kuroo moves to sit behind you, his long arms wrap around your waist as you continue to lean forward in your straddle stretch. “You’re going to get a cramp, kitten.” You scold and Kuroo leans more of his weight against your back as he cuddles into you. 

You refrain from rolling your eyes as you continue to reach for your toes. After a few minutes and a few more positions, you try to break out of Kuroo’s grip. It’s like he has an iron hold on you, you find it nearly impossible to get out of his arms. 

“Alright, get up,” You gently pat at his arms and Kuroo squeezes you in his arms. After much internal debate, he reluctantly lets go of you and you stand up before walking over to the bench. Kuroo stares at his shoes as he reties them and out of the corner of his eye, he catches you bending over. His stomach drops when he realizes you’re slipping your sweatpants off and revealing to him his favorite pair of spandex on your bottom. 

You glance back at Kuroo and send him a wink, appreciating how shocked he looks for a moment before his face falls back to his normal taunting glare. 

“Too bad we can’t play together since you didn’t stretch,” You sigh mockingly and walk up to the net, dragging the cart of volleyballs behind you.

“I don’t need a warm-up, baby, I can work just fine without one.” Kuroo retorts suggestively and you shrug as he ends up right by your side.

Guess who gets a cramp ten minutes later.

Sakusa Kiyoomi

Sakusa would be really pleased that you want to play volleyball with him, he would really admire your skills

Would Sakusa tell you this though, no! But, you can see the smile in his eyes~ 

Practice with him is usually serious and quiet unless you like to talk then Sakusa will let you talk all you want!!

He gives his own little noises to show that he is actively listening 

The two of you clean all the equipment before and after practice, not that you mind though because now you know everything is squeaky clean! And because you get to spend more time with Sakusa

Sakusa watches you a lot when you practice, it might not look like it because he is so focused on honing his skills but…. His eyes rarely leave your body

Whenever you do something that he likes, he smiles and if you catch him doing this, the tips of his ears will turn red and he will stare at the ceiling instead of you 

Sometimes he will ask you how his form looks or if you think he could do something better,,, he does it to engage in a conversation with you, not that he thinks he needs to change anything different 

Sakusa is ready with water for you and is prepared to throw you a towel or anything you need whenever you guys take breaks

After practice you two always have another session in the shower,,,, I’ll let your mind wander with that~

“Should I arch my back more into the spike?” Sakusa asks and stares at you with curious eyes. “I noticed how Wakatoshi does it and it really makes for a powerful hit.” You stare down at the ball in your hands and think to yourself in your head, Sakusa wants advice from you?

“I think your form is already really good Omi, don’t compare yourself to other people.” You tell him and spin the ball on your fingers. “You’re the best ace there is, the best ace in the country!” 

Sakusa stumbles a little bit over your praise, he wasn’t expecting that answer from you. He continues to watch as you work on your own individual skills and he feels like he can’t take his eyes off of you. 

“Can you toss to me? I want to see if I can still receive as well as I used to!” You bend down to get under the net and Sakusa mentally slaps himself for where his eyes snap to. He nods to your question and grabs a couple of balls to give you. Your boyfriend watches in amazement how you get every ball he throws you, even the ones he purposely makes hard. 

After a handful, he stops and you stare at him in confusion, Sakusa walks over to the bench and hands you a bottle of water.

“Here, you need to stay hydrated.” He tells you and you nod before grabbing the drink, eager to quench your thirst.

“Aren’t you so caring~” You tease and Sakusa tilts his head, watching you carefully.

“Yes.” You can’t help but laugh at his response and you playfully blow him a kiss, knowing he probably doesn’t want your touch right now.

How wrong you are.

“Let’s end for the day.” Sakusa grabs your wrist and leads you to the locker room. 

“Kiyoomi? It’s only been thirty minutes?!”

after practice , WOOO BOY you were all over your him

practically gawking over everything you saw during practice - like DAMN , that setter is your boyfriend

you begged him to let you watch karasuno practice again , you'd end up warming up to the others eventually - you had him and hinata for support

he felt shy with how excited you were to watch him practice , but agreed to let you come to practice with him from now on

the moment you even appeared in the same room for a second he’d end up right there with you

even if he was clingy in a sense , he respected your shyness and your boundaries , and would step away if he felt like you were uncomfortable with him

eventually his charismatic tendencies and alluring charms got to you and you began to enjoy his company more and more

LMAOOOO you can read the third year like a book ; he shut up immediately when you shot an eyebrow upwards

he punched his fists in the air before snatching a kiss to your temple

it took a lot of psyching yourself up to actually go through with this

but kuroo looked so happy when you agreed , you didn’t wanna let him down :(

so you two met up after school — he was already with kenma

you already met kenma in the past , so seeing him didn’t bother you ; he was an introvert too so he understood how you felt

“ hi , y/n . i’m surprised you can keep up with kuroo the way you do . ”

“ it’s strenuous sometimes , but worth it . ”

aww look at you two bonding — even if it was at kuroo’s expense , he looked like he was about to explode in tears of joy

that moment of peace left the moment the gym doors bashed open — WHO THE FGIDKFK WAS STANDING AT THE DOOR

kuroo appeared like a deer in headlights as you looked at him dumbfoundedly

“ tetsurou . what , and i mean what , is going on ? ”

you watched as someone much much smaller than him — you recognized yaku , he was your classmate — literally kick lev across the back , causing him to fall over

“ they’re a rowdy bunch , y/n . but they won’t lay a hand on you , i assure you . they’ve got much more bark than bite . if they even do have a bite . ”

kenma answered you before kuroo could ; he was blubbering away with incoherent excuses answers you couldn’t even understand

a dude with a mohawk came up to inspect you , and you screamed

tetsurou slapped him away , before wrapping his arms around you protectively

“ don’t go near y/n ! they’re very shy , so please be careful ! ”

this is so embarrassing you might just die

kenma and yaku made sure everyone else yamamoto and lev gave you personal space

once they were all settled down , you actually thought they were a nice bunch — it also helped to know that lev was a first year , it made him appear much less scary

kuroo insisted that you stay for practice , and after some pestering from him and the rest of the team , you agreed

watching them practice was not what you expected

where was tetsurou kuroo and what did they do to him

you didn’t even recognize your boyfriend as he took his rightful role as captain on the court , helping the others and giving pointers wherever needed

the others fell in place , too — watching everyone practice was totally different to how they acted before

you were actually mesmerized , watching them — you didn’t even realize practice was over until kuroo walked over to you and told you that it was over

“ i-it’s over already ? ”

“ yeah , baby . it’s done . did you enjoy it ? ”

“ yeah . . . yeah , i did . i enjoyed it a lot , actually ! ”

“ well , if you’re up for it , the manager spot is very much open . but you don’t have to take it , i know you said this would be the only time you’d come with me . ”

oh no no no you were not gonna miss a chance to be mesmerized like that again

“ y’know what , tetsu ? i want to be the manager . sign me up . ”

cue a screaming yamamoto and long legs lev jumping for joy as tetsurou grinned like crazy at your response

Yesssss so sorry this took so long omg 

-Honestly, now that you were at this game you couldn't understand why Kuroo had been so nervous 

-Nekoma had already won first set and were already well on their way to taking the second as well

-He had said something about a long-time rival and the other team’s captain did seem,,, well a bit like a dick 

-You could tell by the tense line of Kuroo’s shoulders that the other teams sly captain had riled him up

-Perhaps that had been his first mistake because even when Kuroo was angry he never let himself make careless mistakes, instead it made each of his blocks that much more accurate and his spikes that much more powerful 

-A deafening roar from nekomas side of the court signaled they had a reached match point

-You watched Lev’s lanky form leap to meet Kenma’s set and in a rare moment of luck he landed a line spike 

-Kuroo screamed and rushed lev, picking the giant up and swinging him around

“You did so good today,” you murmured into the warm crook of Kuroo’s neck. “Love watching your games.”

Kuroo grinned sleepily, squishing his cheek to the top of your head. You took a deep breath, inhaling the fresh scent of his body wash. His hair was still damp, cool drips of water gliding down his neck to soak into the neck of his shirt.

“Yeah? Well, I like when you come and watch me play, cutie,” he said affectionately, kissing your forehead. 

One of your favorite things about Kuroo’s games was how he acted afterwards. A tired Kuroo became extremely clingy and cuddly and you adored him for it. Speak of the devil, he gently rolled you over until his large body was squishing you into the mattress. Kuroo sighed happily, nuzzling your jaw with sleepy  rumbles. 

“Tetsu... you're crushing me...” you tapped his shoulder. 

“Mm, but you're so warm,” he slurred drowsily, muscles completely lax after an exhausting game. 

“Fine... you're lucky you're cute,” you grumbled, wrapping your arms around his broad shoulders.

How You Two Met

I had a tough time thinking about this one. The classroom would be a good setting, meeting at a cafe sounds cute as shit, but I really wanted it to be different y'know? So there it is, you two had a series of encounters. The first time you met was at the mall; his sister, Alisa, was dragging him along with her, making him carry all her shopping bags. You were with your mother, enjoying a fun mother-daughter time. Lev was carrying a bunch of boxes as he dragged his feet behind his sister, he wanted to buy stuff too! But at this rate, only Alisa was gonna get her shopping done. Anyway, he bumped into you and almost sent you toppling to the floor. The siblings apologised to you and your mother as they passed you by. You were surprised at how tall he was. Lev left thinking that the girl with the glasses was such a cutie. The next time you guys met was on the subway, you guys ended up in the same carriage. He remembered you from the time you guys bumped into each other at the mall. This time you guys talked until it was time for you to get off at your station. You left thinking that he was absolutely the cutest guy you've ever met. Your third meeting was at the convenience store. You saw Lev with his teammates, you both waved at each other. The fourth time was again on the train, this time you two exchanged numbers. After that, you guys began hanging out almost every weekend. Lev is just an absolute riot to be around. You guys would go Karaoke singing, eat in the mall food court and gossip about this and that, sometimes you'd even accompany him during one of Alisa's shopping sprees.

How He Asked You Out And Your First Date

Lev found you cute from the moment he bumped into you for the first time in the mall. The more he got to know you the more he found you just so irresistibly cute. Mans was WHIPPED for you, uwu. He asked you out when the two of you were hanging out in the mall food court sharing fries. You liked Lev too, he was cute, handsome and he was a cheerful boy, so naturally, you said yes. He didn't have anything or even the day of the date planned, so he promised to text you the date and time. This guy RAN to Alisa to ask for a good date spot and how to impress you. Alisa is the biggest shipper of you two, prove me wrong. She tried to convince him to take you out on some big grand date, but deep down Lev had a feeling that you would enjoy a normal date that would allow both of you to have as much fun as possible. So come Saturday, you met him at the entrance of the amusement park. Lev was obviously feeling nervous and fidgety. Why wouldn't he when an absolute cutie decided to date him! You guys had a fun date with tons of exciting rides, goofy pictures and a butt load of junk food. By the end of the date, you guys were super exhausted but you stayed until the end to watch the firework display. You guys watched the display together; nervously, Lev wrapped his big hand around yours, still keeping his gaze skyward. His cheeks were flaming red, he wouldn't dare look at you, but the moment you squeezed his hand in reciprocation his shoulders relaxed and his smile got wider, he was almost beaming like a child.

What’s Your Relationship Like

Ya'll are babies. Period. A fun relationship is what you have. Lev just absolutely adores you, and he adores the fact that you adore him so much! You're both very affectionate, you love holding hands, cuddling and just having some form of contact with the other. He loves that you are so freaking creative and tries to contribute to your ideas, but really he's just stupid so ignore him. Lev will literally combust because you give him so much attention like he wants to give you ten times the attention you give him. Knit him a scarf and he will wear it everywhere! Is it summer? Well, turn up the cooling because the scarf is not coming off. Lev will keep begging you to come to practice so he can show you off to his teammates. He will also beg his teammates to make him look cool so he can impress you, lol. Yaku beat his ass right in front of you. He loves watching you while you draw or write like he just stares at you like a house cat. Gifts! Gifts are a huge part of your relationship! Whether it's a special day or not, Lev will always give you something that reminded him of you. Whenever you give him your too honest opinions, he pretends to get hurt but really, he appreciates that you are as you are and not pretending to be someone else. He is equally as honest with you, but he tries his hardest not to ever hurt your feelings, and he is quick to apologise if he does! Lev loves burying his face in your hair because floofy. Also, if you wanna seek his aid in helping you focus, good luck, because this dumbass is just as distracted if not more! All in all, Lev and you love each other so much! You're both so innocent and sweet and genuine and lovely. He treats you so well and appreciates everything you do for him and does whatever he can to let you know that he loves you so much and will always be there for you.

LETS TALK SPOILERS THEN HUH

also cool now that i’m on my laptop i can do a cut, i couldn’t on the phone app. so fucking here we go

i am so relieved to be done with it cuz by the end, i was so tired of fighting and my supplies were running low and that very final fighting segment was a sloooooog till i was able to worm around enough to basically land mine people till i ran out of them, then use explosive arrows, then anything else i could to just fucking WIN

and okay, lemme start from the beginning

i was totally surprised when joel died especially since the murderer was someone (abby) he and tommy had just saved (which i loved that scene of them fighting and throwing molotovs cuz it looked so cool to see them do that). its like, oh, fuck man, we just played as her briefly in what i was thinking was just them shaking up tutorials some by having us play as someone else and then its like nah, she just killed joel

so then of course, we go thru as ellie, gunning to kill her, basically throwing all caution out the window to try to get revenge. and it’s what we know, so of course we as the player go along with it, cuz WE want revenge too

and then ellie kills owen and mel (fuck and alice too, i cried), and that was def when it was like, fuck, this is getting too much for her, there is so much blood on her hands. and then abby comes a knocking, and then there was the stand off

and then we play as abby again. of course i was like FUUUUUCK OMG I DON’T WANT TO BE HER AGAIN. but it’s like, well, i still gotta play so i continued on.

RIGHT AWAY i was like, fuck, they’re making her endearing and sympathetic to us, aren’t they. i knew it the absolute moment she picked up a state quarter and was excited to find one. i collect coins myself so i was like, fuck, that is such a humanizing little quirk, it started to crack the hate i had for her for killing joel.

and it kept on, it kept on cracking and breaking away till i was totally invested. seeing the wlf compound, i was in awe at how it looked, and seeing the people inside them, esp abby’s friends (most of whom i had killed as ellie whoops) it made her so much more human that of course it was getting hard to hate her just for what happened 

i mean, joel had killed her father, and she threw away YEARS of her life, her relationship with owen, just to kill joel. and then, playing as ellie, she was throwing away her life, her relationships for revenge as well. they both were doing the same exact thing, we just had more context for ellie’s side of things initially

i ended up loving playing as abby though. her relationships with lev (precious baby boy) and yara grounded her further, she was clearly trying to find some sort of life post revenge, post owen, she was trying to find some sort of light in the world. like how the fireflies always say, you know?

SO THEN WHEN THEY PIT ABBY AGAINST ELLIE I WAS LEGIT YELLING

my mom knocked on the door cuz i had a package and i was just frantically repeating “UHH NOT NOW MOM NOT NOW MOM” cuz naughty dog was like, you hated that part of ellie vs david didn’t you? well how about you vs ellie but it plays out like that

fuuuuuuuck man the entire time i was like THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING. THIS CANNOT BE HAPPENING cuz i didn’t want to hurt ellie and i also didn’t want abby to be hurt. i didn’t know how this could end when both of them were filled with so much hate

so when abby backs off, and then you have the little time skip of ellie and dina and little jj (fucking cutie omg), its like, please, let’s stay like this. it’s like when i was in left behind and i just wanted to stay with riley and tell jokes. like when i was abby in the aquarium with lev and i was playing fetch with alice. i wanted to stay there because for a little bit, everything was okay

AND OF COURSE IT CAN’T STAY LIKE THAT. i was feeling so mad at ellie for going back after abby cuz i didn’t want anything bad to happen to abby or lev, and it’s like, NOTHING GOOD CAN COME OF THIS. but it’s like, that’s what ellie knows, she knows murder and revenge and that’s what she thought she was supposed to do for joel

i totally do wish that last bit there was shorter, i was feeling so burnt out from fighting even tho i liked being abby again, and hearing how they were doing. but the whole bit as ellie was just so tiring, esp that final fucking resort place, it got on every last nerve of mine cuz there were so many enemies and i was getting low on supplies and it was just like FUUUUUUCK ME. finally i got thru it tho and then i got to the ending

i didn’t want abby to die, so the fist fight was a lot of me going D: the entire time, and again, i felt like that went on a smidge too long. but finally ellie realized that this wouldn’t make her happy, it wouldn’t bring joel back to her, and she finally relented. i think it’s fitting that she lost two of her fingers so she can’t play the guitar as good now, because that’ll be a reminder of what the cost of revenge is. she can finally put that part of her to bed

final thoughts? man, what a game. in my years of being a tlou fan, and writing fanfics, this certainly went places i never imagined. i feel like some of the pacing was just a bit off though, cuz i feel like the back end of the game felt a bit more bloated and by the time i get back into ellie’s shoes, i’m just like “fuck you girl give it a rest omg.”

i def feel i need to just stew on my feelings some, probably write some, and just process all of this. it felt like it took forever to beat the game cuz i had to play around long, tiring shifts at work, and some days i just couldn’t play till i was actually off, like how i was today. this was a very emotional game to get thru
