Jeremy Clarkson apologised twice and it wasn’t enough for them 🤷🏻♀️
It will never be enough.

Meghan’s only sticking point for crying “they’re racist” is that her children aren’t HRH Prince/Princess. That is her only legitimate claim; most other public issues of racism has always been swiftly dealt with - see Piers getting fired, Jeremy getting fired, immediate apologies and retractions for the Compton and monkey articles. But the thing is, she’s even shot herself twice in her own foot with the children not having HRHs or titles — first by publicly declining Archie’s ability to use the Dumbarton title and second by saying it was her decision not to allow the children to use titles in one of the many versions of “her truth” that’s out there.
Guarantee you it all comes down to the children’s titles. That is the only manifestation of racism she has left. Look at how badly they bungled the whole “senior racist” storyline crafted for Oprah - they don’t have a racist story left to tell, hint, or leak.
(I wouldn’t be surprised at this point if she does have a third child to force the royals’ hand at giving them titles since BP’s confirmed interpretation of the LP is titles can’t be granted retroactively to people who have already been born. She needs this 3rd child, who will be born as the sovereign’s grandchild and therefore granted titles by BP’s stated interpretation. If she has the third child and that baby doesn’t get titles, then the BRF is racist and “see, I told you so.”)
Anon, you seem to understand the issue well enough and yet I will say the title issue is not a legitimate claim on her part. Like you said, A&L were not born as grandchildren of a reigning monarch. The reason that Waleses kids are all Princes or Princess is because the Queen issued an LP to give them that privilege and only them as they were being born into the direct line of succession.
Additionally I would say neither the Piers issue nor the Clarkson issue had anything to do with racism. The Compton article byline was written by an American journalist, the headline aside the actual article itself kissed her ass. The only legit racist incident I will concede is the comment made by the BBC reporter and he was rightly sacked for making the comment. One racist incident does not make an entire narrative of racism. If that were true WOCs like me could walk around doing what the heck we wanted, cause I have dealt with plenty of racism in my own life. Yet it doesn't give the right to act as if I am better than anyone else. Same goes for her.
But yes I agree with you, she will have a third child just to force Charles' hand on the matter.

mm idk if it’s the opposite of a Meghan effect on the rest of the family but rather just a sign of the times? there’s a cost of living crisis, political musical chairs happening in the UK, and the most dangerous time for an institution is when they have a change at the top (Lizzie to Charles).
I feel like it’s just a perfect storm of bad things happening that are making the royals severely disliked? Im not sure if displaying a unifying front on the family sign would have slowed down the hate. Sure, having two charismatic royals would have helped.. but that wouldn’t have stopped any external factors happening.
I think it's a combination of things, honestly, it has to do with the monarchy lacking that one extremely popular and central figure that it had with Elizabeth, Charle's general unpopularity when compared to Elizabeth is also a factor.
However, I really do think that they're really overexposed and saturated with negative drama. People say this generally about Harry/Meghan, but let's be honest the Sussexes go missing for periods of time without making any public appearances. The claim that the Sussexes are hypocritical about privacy falls on its face when you release that most of the publicity surrounding Meghan and Harry isn't even generated by them, and that they've been appearing far less often than they would have been if they were still members of the BRF (we've seen Meghan, like, twice this year). The royal family, on the other hand, doesn't have that luxury, they always have to be in the news and I think people are just sick of hearing about them. Between the Jubilee, the high-profile funerals, the tours, and now the Coronation . . . that's a lot of energy and public funds being devoted to these people who, let's be honest, don't have the PR going for them right now. So, I think, yes, people dislike them for a variety of reasons but I think the issues with Harry/Meghan have publicized their issues on a wider scale that they really can't control.
I don't think people would be that hostile or repulsed by the monarchy if the allegations from Spare weren't also there. William in particular has really lost his image as a more modern and progressive alternative to Charles based on how he treats his family. I don't think Camilla would be met with such contempt by some people if she wasn't connected to people like Jeremy Clarkson and Piers Morgan and the like. I think those "I hate her on a cellular level" comments + how she's depicted in Spare had more of an impact on her than people will let on, because it proved that she's really the same person she's always been since the 90s. Same with reports about her grandchildren being part of the coronation and William insulting her. These are isolated incidents but they build up over time.
I don't know why they keep attacking Meghan and Harry in the media, most people want the story to die, and it's not like the RF are benefitting from it. All it does is drag this out longer and prove that they have a vendetta against them.

Reviewed: Renault Clio 1.0L Turbo Intens
It used to be that you couldn't turn around without seeing small, compact hatchbacks. They were basically the default car on the South African road, but the segment has largely been supplanted by the compact SUV. Hyundai Venues and Suzuki S-Pressos rule the roost now in place of the old hot hatches.
Fortunately, the compact SUV hasn't erased the little hot hatch because there are still plenty of them around and a really great example of one is Renault's fifth-generation Clio.
While perhaps not as legendary as the VW Golf and the newer Polo, the Renault Clio for sale is highly regarded within motoring circles. It is one of only two cars to have been voted European Car of the Year twice, in 1991 and 2006. The other? Obviously VW's Golf. And Jeremy Clarkson at one point even said the V6 variant of the Clio had a place in his Perfect 10 Car garage.
So does this fifth-generation Clio honour the Clio reputation? For the most part, yes. This current Clio is a lekker time on the road, tempering sensible road manners with just enough naughtiness to be fun. Even without changing its drive mode to 'Sport', the Clio makes easy work of overtaking taxis and zipping between lanes. It's carefree and confident; the kind of car where you'll be happy to just drive it, even though you don't really have a destination.
Its eager beaver attitude to acceleration is a bit surprising when you discover it has a tiny little turbocharged 1.0L engine driving the wheels. It produces an impressive 74kW, but even so, it hardly seems possible that such a small engine should be this much fun. Paired with a smooth manual transmission, the overall driving experience is up there with the best.
Oh, and I should also mention, that the little 1.0L engine is quite light on juice and even though I was pretty aggressive with it, the fuel consumption was less than 7L per 100 km but by the time I returned to the manufacturer.
From a driver's perspective, the interior is pretty well set up. Quality, if not luxury, materials are used throughout and all the buttons and dials are well-positioned. Renault's signature multimedia control stalk, located on the lower right side of the steering wheel, could be a bit higher up though.
Aside from that niggle, everything else is quite comfortable. The centre column screen is bright, clear, responsive and supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. USB ports are below that, and there's even wireless charging for phones that support that.
That being said, comments from my passengers were not as complimentary as I expected. The main complaint was that the car wasn't particularly spacious and they were cramped. To be fair, the Clio isn't a big car, but competing hatches haven't gotten the same criticism. Suzuki's lovely Swift and VW's ubiquitous Polo, to name two, compete in the same segment and spacious never came up.
As a driver, though, there's not much to complain about. I found the Clio to be an excellent, enjoyable runabout and an even easier recommendation.

I think it's wonderful that Jeremy Clarkson mentions James May at literally every opportunity he has to do so. Like, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire was on for a week, 1 week, and he mentioned him at least twice. I know that doesn't sound like much, but James May literally isn't involved in Millionaire in any way and Jeremy just had to shoehorn him in anyway. He didn't need to say "oh Hammersmith, that's where James May lives," but he fucking did and it's wonderful. That's all I came to say.
#James May#Jeremy Clarkson#Top Gear#The Grand Tour#Ofc he mentions Hammond as well#But not as much as he mentions James#Who Wants To Be A Millionaire#Idk what else to say#Except that I love them both#But mostly James May#I should stop tagging#I feel like James May does the same

Throughout, very clearly shot with no obstructions, in a mixture of wides and closes, following the action well. I think it's shot from the front of the circle. Once or twice the camera falls but never during key moments, and is quickly fixed. No long blackouts. Audience energy is great. The Play That Goes Wrong - West End (Duchess Theatre) - March, 2020 (hitmewithyourbethshot's master) FORMAT: MTS CAST: Ross Green (Chris Bean), Tom Bulpett (s/b Robert Grove), James Watterson (e/c Jonathan Harris), Ellie Morris (Sandra Wilkinson), Milo Clarke (Max Bennett), Michael Keene (Dennis Tyde), Leah Penston (s/b Annie Twilliol), Blayar Benn (Trevor Watson) Pokémon Live! - First National Tour - December 30, 2000 (House-Cam's master) FORMAT: MP4 (SD) CAST: Dominic Nolfi (Ash Ketchum), Heidi Michelle Weyhmueller (Misty), Dennis Kenney (Brock), Darren Dunstan (Giovanni), Lauren Kling (Jessie), Andrew Rannells (James), Dee Roscioli (Delia Ketchum), Patrick Frankfort (Professor Oak), Jennifer Risser (Pikachu), Kathleen Roche (Meowth), Leah Smith (Psyduck), Shaun Bradley (Mewtwo), Leah Smith (Jigglypuff), Natalie Weld (Nurse Joy), Suzanne Wogisch (Officer Jenny), Sinclair Mitchell (Dexter) NOTES: HOUSE-CAM and soundboard. Upgraded file with audience heads cut out and cropped image retaining all action Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience - Off-Broadway - May 23, 2012 FORMAT: VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: Daniel Clarkson, Jefferson Turner NOTES: All seven Harry Potter books condensed into seventy minutes. Full/mid stage shot. Pretty Woman: The Musical - Broadway - January 16, 2019 FORMAT: MP4 (HD) CAST: Samantha Barks (Vivian Ward), Adam Pascal (t/r Edward Lewis), Jennifer Sanchez (u/s Kit De Luca) NOTES: A lot of washout. Wide shot. Shot from the mez. Virtually no dropouts, obstructions and spotlight washout. Filmed more centre than the preview recording by the same master; mix of wides, mediums and some closeups; very good capture of the sets and actor choreography. Both are worth watching. Pretty Woman: The Musical - Broadway - July, 2018 (Preview) (NYCG8R's master) FORMAT: VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: Samantha Barks (Vivian Ward), Andy Karl (Edward Lewis), Eric Anderson (Mr. Thompson/Happy Man), Jason Danieley (Philip Stuckey), Ezra Knight (James Morse), Orfeh (Kit De Luca), Allison Blackwell (Violetta), Tommy Bracco (Giulio), Brian Cali (Fred/Alfredo), Robby Clater (David Morse), Anna Eilinsfeld (Susan/Scarlett) NOTES: (not Master notes) Seems a fantastic capture of the show. Virtually no dropouts or obstructions. More spotlight washout than the Feb 2019 recording by the same master, but it's very minimal. Filmed at slight angle and with more closeups compared to the other recording. Very good capture of the actors' expressions. Both are worth watching. Pretty Woman: The Musical - Hamburg - September 25, 2019 (Preview) (Rumpel's master) FORMAT: VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: Patricia Meeden (Vivian Ward), Mark Seibert (Edward Lewis), Paul Kribbe (Mr. Thompson/Happy Man), Nigel Casey (Philip Stuckey), Frank Logemann (James Morse), Maricel (Kit De Luca) Pretty Woman: The Musical - Pre-Broadway/Chicago - April 13, 2018 (SunsetBlvd79's master) FORMAT: VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: Samantha Barks (Vivian Ward), Steve Kazee (Edward Lewis), Eric Anderson (Mr. Thompson/Happy Man), Jason Danieley (Philip Stuckey), Kingsley Leggs (James Morse), Orfeh (Kit De Luca) NOTES: Beautiful HD capture of the PreBroadway production. This includes Steve as Edward before he left the production prior to Broadway. Such a fun show with terrific performances and a rare glimpse of Steve in the role! A Pride and Prejudice - TheatreWorks Silicon Valley - December, 2019 (Pro-Shot's master) FORMAT: MP4 (HD) CAST: Mary Mattison (Elizabeth Bennet), Sharon Rietkerk (Jane Bennet), Justin Mortelliti (Fitzwilliam Darcy), Travis Leland (Charles Bingley), Monique Hafen (Caroline Bingley) NOTES: Streamed by TheaterMania on April 10, 2020. Action is followed well with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The first minute of the show is missing, and the next few minutes are a bit shaky with scattered blackouts, but after "The King of Broadway" it settles and the majority of the show is captured nicely. SPOILER: Before "Keep It Gay" started, when Roger says "What's the word?" someone from the audience shouted out "Gay" which sent the cast into a laughing fit. The Prom - Broadway - August 11, 2019 (Matinee) (Closing Night) (StarCuffedJeans's master) FORMAT: MP4 (HD) CAST: Caitlin Kinnunen (Emma Nolan), Brooks Ashmanskas (Barry Glickman), Isabelle McCalla (Alyssa Greene), Beth Leavel (Dee Dee Allen), Christopher Sieber (Trent Oliver), Michael Genet (Mr. Hawkins), Angie Schworer (Angie), Courtenay Collins (Mrs. Greene), Josh Lamon (Sheldon Saperstein), Becca Lee (Kaylee), Kalyn West (Shelby), Teddy Toye (Nick), Josh Franklin (Motel Clerk), Drew Redington (Kevin), Courtney Balan (Olivia Keating), Anthony Norman, Brittany Conigatti, Fernell Hogan, Jack Sippel, Jerusha Cavazos, Joomin Hwang, Mary Antonini, Shelby Finnie, Sheldon Henry, Vasthy Mompoint NOTES: Gift upon request. Unobstructed closing performance with the full cast! Starts in the beginning of "Changing Lives" and is a little washed out. For whatever reason my camera was mad at me and didn't want to focus in the beginning of Act One. It warmed up and got better, and to be honest I opted for wider shots because everyone was doing crazy things and I didn't want to miss anything. I stood up for all but one of the standing ovations and when I did so I have no idea what my camera did or what it was looking at. I would say sorry but it wouldn't be true. I'm just so damn proud of all of these people. Please do not post this bootleg publicly! The Prom - Broadway - February, 2019 (NYCG8R's master) FORMAT: VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: Caitlin Kinnunen (Emma Nolan), Josh Lamon (u/s Barry Glickman), Isabelle McCalla (Alyssa Greene), Beth Leavel (Dee Dee Allen), Christopher Sieber (Trent Oliver), Michael Genet (Mr. Hawkins), Angie Schworer (Angie), Courtenay Collins (Mrs. Greene), David Josefsberg (u/s Sheldon Saperstein) NOTES: Excellent capture! Josh mistakenly mentions Alyssa in 'Tonight Belongs to You' despite not being meant to know her name at this point. The last three minutes of the show are from a different performance, during previews, with Brooks Ashmanskas as Barry and Josh Lamon as Sheldon, but it is a full video in total. The Prom - Broadway - March, 2019 (StarCuffedJeans's master) FORMAT: MP4 (HD) CAST: Gabi Campo (u/s Emma Nolan), Brooks Ashmanskas (Barry Glickman), Isabelle McCalla (Alyssa Greene), Beth Leavel (Dee Dee Allen), Christopher Sieber (Trent Oliver), Michael Potts (Mr. Hawkins), Angie Schworer (Angie), Courtenay Collins (Mrs. Greene), David Josefsberg (u/s Sheldon Saperstein), Becca Lee (Kaylee), Susie Carroll (s/w Shelby), Teddy Toye (Nick), Drew Redington (Kevin), Courtney Balan (Olivia Keating) NOTES: This video starts at "Dance With You" and is super focused on Gabi. There are less heads in this than most of my videos and a railing that gets in the way occasionally, but they were mostly worked around. The cast as a whole is doing top notch work, though at times you can tell that Brooks and Izzy are just back from being sick. Overall this is a really great video of one of my favorite shows, and I'm really proud of myself for containing my crying at the end of act one. The Prom - Pre-Broadway / Atlanta - September 17, 2016 (SunsetBlvd79's master) FORMAT: VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: Caitlin Kinnunen (Emma Nolan), Brooks Ashmanskas (Barry Glickman), Anna Grace Barlow (Alyssa Greene), Beth Leavel (Dee Dee Allen), Christopher Sieber (Trent Oliver), Martin Moran (Mr. Hawkins), Angie Schworer (Angie), Josh Lamon (Sheldon Saperstein) NOTES: Beautiful HD capture of the Pre-Broadway tryout. A really touching and funny new musical, led by a hilarious cast of Broadway veterans. A perfect mix of comedy and drama.

INFP Music Collaboration Project: Complete!
The INFP Collaboration Playlist Project is now complete!
In total we had about 200 songs submitted and that completely blew me away! Thank you all so much for participating, I had no idea that it would get this many responses!
Thank you especially to @rokokokokolores, @stillnotknowing, @anypassingthought, @2nerd4this, @sonsoftie, @aseratreasures, @infp-relatable, @lunagirl0013, @idunno-justpicksomething, and @namhamjoon (please let me know if I accidentally forgot to tag you)
These are just the participants who were okay with being named but also thank you to all of the anonymous participants!

I was thinking of doing another one of these in the future but just make up my own prompts and put them all in one form and leave it open for a while or forever and just update the playlist twice a month or something like that. If you have ideas, just drop a comment or an ask if you want it to be anonymous.

A little coda to tonight’s (7.3.19) episode OR “There, I fixed it!” for those who wanted a little bit more.
Soft husbands fluff, some angst, and some much needed closeness.
TW: intrusive thoughts, mentions of Gordon.
Both drowsy with food and a glass of wine or two each, they ended up on the sofa in front of an old re-run of Top Gear, Liv having gone up to her room to work and, somehow, sensing that they needed some time to themselves. Aaron gravitated towards Robert the way he always did, bringing his knees up to his chest and curling against him so that he could rest his head on his husband’s shoulder, inhaling the calming scent of his cologne and letting the natural rise and fall of his chest lull him into contentment.
It had been a difficult couple of days. He’d embarrassed himself, mortified an innocent woman who had been nothing but kind and understanding, and worst of all, he’d hurt Robert.
It was enough to make him feel sour on the inside, the little voice in his head piping up and telling him screaming at him, you’re selfish and childish, you don’t care about Robert at all, do you? Stealing from your own spouse. You’re a terrible person, aren’t you? You know you are. Stop lying to yourself.
You don’t deserve him.
On the worst days, that voice sounded like his father’s.
It had sounded like Gordon today, watching Robert move around the house in stony silence, not a nod or a glance put his way.
Selfish. Immature. Unworthy. Unlovable.
Aaron squeezed his eyes shut against the echo in his mind, the grind of his jaw drowning out the sound of Jeremy Clarkson talking about the specs of whatever car it was they were showcasing. He tried to focus on the things he could feel, the things he knew were true.
He was sitting on his sofa, in his house. Robert was next to him, warm and reassuring, his cheeks slightly pink from the wine they’d drunk with dinner. Robert loved him.
Robert loved him.
“Let’s get back to us for a bit, yeah?”
“Us sounds good to me.”
Swallowing hard, he shifted, nuzzling his husband’s shoulder for comfort, the material of his shirt soft against his cheek. Slowly, he untangled his hand from its awkward position and reached across to find Robert’s own, his fingers twitching and hesitant. He linked their fingers together, tight and strong, and it gave him courage.
“Rob?” he asked, keeping his gaze locked on their entwined hands, their rings. glinting silver in the low light of the living room.
“Mm?” Robert hummed, frowning slightly. It wasn’t a frown of concern, but one of curiosity.
“I really am sorry,” Aaron started in a quiet voice, “for....going all crazy on ya and making a mug of meself, and for upsettin’ ya...” He ran his thumb over Robert’s knuckles, once, twice, three times. “For hurtin’ ya, with how I’ve been actin’ about all the surrogacy stuff.”
A beat of silence. A nod of agreement from Robert. “Thank you. I guess I just felt a bit betrayed, s’all. I wish you would have just talked to me.”
“I know, I know,” Aaron conceded. “I promised I would and I went back on that promise and that...that wasn’t okay, Robert. I hurt ya, and I promised I never would again. Only I got baby fever and messed all that up.”
At that, Robert turned on the sofa so that he was facing Aaron, their entwined hands resting between them. His eyes were earnest and sincere as he replied, “Hey, hey, it’s all water under the bridge now. It’s forgotten. And I understand.” Robert blinked slowly, and Aaron was surprised to see that he was blinking back tears.
“I miss Seb, too,” he whispered, his voice hoarse, and Aaron’s own eyes watered as he bit down on his bottom lip hard and touched his forehead to Robert’s, leaning in so that they were nose to nose. He could see the exact shade of brown of Robert’s freckles, the slope of his nose. The blue-green of his eyes underneath thick lashes speckled with tiny droplets of unshed tears.
“I really do wanna have a baby with ya,” Aaron said, sniffling hard.
“I told ya, a whole football team,” Robert laughed wetly, smiling. “And that’s a promise, Aaron. It’ll happen for us.”
“I think I’m gonna make an appointment to see me counsellor,” Aaron blurted, before he could stop himself, and he was surprised by the fact that he hadn’t made the decision until the words were out of his mouth. “If ya - if ya wanna come with me? We could - we could talk about Seb there, and how much we miss him?”
Robert kissed him, and the kiss tasted like salt and red wine. “I’d love to come with ya. It feels like I haven’t been able to talk about him properly, and - I’d like to.” A pause. “I love you, Aaron.”
“Love ya too,” he replied. “Muppet.”
“Your muppet, though,” Robert said, but there wasn’t any malice in his tone. Just tenderness and sincerity that made Aaron’s heart swell.
“Yeah, I s’pose you are,” Aaron smiled.
And it was enough.

Sabine Schmitz Tribute - BBC
I previously did some research on well known females within the car industry. One of the women was Sabine Schmitz who recently passed away. Top Gear made a tribute to her as she featured on their show a few times, and on the tribute it really showed how she had such a huge impact on peoples lives. She was well known by a lot of people in the car industry and the sport for her achievements of being the Queen of the Nurburgring and many others. Richard Hammond mentioned at the end of this 30 minute tribute that she always had a smile on her face regardless what situation she was in. With her being such an inspiration to females in the car industry and culture I would like to note down any quotes that stand out and link to my theme of females in the car culture. I have watched it once through already but I want to note down now anything that stands out and could possibly be used in my editorial.
Quotes:
- Jeremy Clarkson “She was fun, and she saw driving a car as a fun thing to do and driving it quickly an even more fun thing to do.”
- Paddy McGuiness “Sabine is beautifully bonkers, and I mean that with so much love and respect.”
- Richard Hammond “She loved doing something that we all love doing, but she really loved ding it, and also was extremely good at it.”
- Freddie Flintoff “She drove fast, but lived life fast, and you get the sense with Sabine that every day of her life was an event.”
- Susie Wolff “Fierce, hugely talented and a great person.”
- James May “You can’t be the Queen of the Nürburgring without being very good at it, and to be honest, if you’re not very good at it, and you do it that much, you’re going to come a cropper because it’s not a safe place.”
- Narrator “But to Sabine Schmitz the world’s longest and most infamous motor racing circuit was simply home.”
- RH “if you’re looking to describe Sabine, you’ve got to put her in context and the only context is the Nürburgring. This is the place she knows better than you know anything you know.”
- Narrator “Sabine grew up literally surround by racing.”
- Narrator “Sabine started driving the circuit at the age of 17. By 19, she held a Nürburgring lap record, quickly becoming a specialist in the motorsports most gruelling discipline – endurance racing.”
- Chris Harris “And she was the only woman doing it there. I mean, looking back, actually, there’s a reason why she was such a hero out there.”
- Narrator “In 1996, Sabine became the first woman to win the Nürburgring 24 Hours, and the following year she won it again.”
- Young girl (Jessica Hawkins) “Double 24-Hour Nürburgring champion. I mean, that’s hard. That’s so, so hard.”
- David Coulthard (F1 Driver) “To win that race not once, but twice. I think anyone who can master that circuit is a truly great racing driver.”
- Narrator “This was a young, talented, successful female driver, and with her reputation in the motor racing world already well established, in 2004 Sabine was discovered by a whole new audience. (Top Gear)”
- JC “The Top Gear test track has eight corners. Silverstone, which is a big Grand Prix circuit, has 12 corners. The Nürburgring has 147 corners.”
- JC “The first time she took me around the Nürburgring, she just humiliated me and was rude.”
- Sabine (about JC) “Your driving style is very funny.”
- RH “She made it look joyous.”
- Narrator “Sabines exploits on camera had made her a cult icon. And in 2016, the beginning of a new chapter for Top Gear gave the world another chance to see her in action.”
- Matt Le Blanc “You know, people looked up to her, I would see it when we would do the live audience shows, I would see people that, you know, they would tap each other on the shoulder. ‘There’s Sabine, there’s Sabine.’ And it was it was really cool to watch and see the effect she had on people and on women especially. It was that she was a true inspiration to people.”
- Black guy (Rory Reid) “She has this confidence and trust in the car and knowledge of every metre of the tarmac so she knows she can brake later. She brakes at points where you think that’s a crash, that’s an accident, we’re having an accident. But we’re not. We’re braking.”
- Black guy (Rory Reid) “She’s one step ahead of the car, one step ahead of you, one step ahead of the track. She’s in total control and you have to dial yourself into her frequency before you start to relax and appreciate what she’s doing.”
- Narrator “Sabine brought that same energy and enthusiasm to every one of her appearances, no matter the racetrack or the race car.”
- Chris Harris “What was really telling actually, in all of these events, was you can tell someone’s got a really natural driving gift when you just throw them into anything. Sabine was that person. She was like a Swiss Army knife.”
- Narrator “As a driver unfazed by any challenge that came her way, Sabine’s successes continued both off track and on. Alongside her partner, Klaus, at Frikadelli Racing, the team they founded together, The Queen of the Nürburgring continued to show her class. And in 2019, the arrival of Top Gear’s current presenting team saw Sabine make another impactful return to the show.”
- FF “She was fun. She just brought a presence, and she was a real treat for us to work with and a treat for the viewer, because when Sabine turned up, something’s happening.”
- PmG “There is an irony in that she can navigate 147 corners at the Nürburgring but struggles round York. Just… It’s just Sabine, innit, all over.”
- JC “When she walked into a room, it was as though everything got just a bit brighter and a bit louder. It was just… She was turning everything up on your television until it was just like that. And that’s what five minutes with Sabine was like.”
- FF “I remember her, being sat behind the wheel – big smile on her face, shouting and screaming. And she just goes past us.”
- CH “She was an absolute force of nature, and that’s how I want to remember her.”
- JM “It’s the breadth of the affection for her, it was everybody from the hardcore Nurburgringers, who respected her enormously, to just, you know, households who watched Top Gear, and who just loved her because she’d turn up and sort of slightly smashed the place up, you know, and ridicule the rest of us. And I think it earned her a huge, huge number of fans.”
- Susie Wolff “There weren’t ever really many women racing when I was coming up through the ranks, let alone successful women racing, but Sabine was always there. She was always someone that I watched from afar. And seeing her success definitely inspired me.”
- Young girl (Jessica Hawkins) “She was a real figurehead for women within motor sport, and she has such belief in her talent and ability.”
- RH “Just a source of joy – you watch those films with her in, again, you just watch her smile.”
- RH “Watch her expressions when she was driving right on the ragged edge. Even at those moments, she was happy to give in to the joy of it.”
- Sabine “Woohoo! I love my job!”
- RH “And the tragedy is, I’m sure she had a great deal more of that to share with all of us.

Jeremy Clarkson net worth: Who Wants to be a Millionaire? and Top Gear presenter salary
Jeremy Clarkson is best known for his TV work. The journalist has won a legion of fans in his career.
“So when you look at all those BBC salaries that are published, you think, ‘You get that for an hour’s work.’ No, you don’t.
“You get that for your entire life being taken over by, ‘Selfie! Selfie! Photo! Photo! Photo!’
“Somebody has to pay for that.”
Jeremy lives in on an estate he named the “Diddly Squat Farm”.
Is Jeremy Clarkson married?
Jeremy isn’t married, but he is dating in a relationship with actor and writer Lisa Hogan.
Previously he has been married twice. He married Alex Hall in 1989, but the short-lived union lasted six months.
In 1998 he married Frances Cain. The couple lived in the Cotswolds and had three children. The pair divorced in 2014.

Near-death and other travel experiences. Looking for Butch Cassidy
In 2014 I took a trip around Argentina. I was partly following the route taken by Che Guevara, on his 1950s motorcycle trip around South America, but I took a long detour south and went through the Chabut Valley in Patagonia to see the Welsh setters villagers and most of all to visit the ranch at the edge of the Andes Butch Cassidy, The Sundance Kid and Etta Place hid away in between 1901 and 1905 or 1908 depending upon which version of the story you believe.
They were hiding away from the Pinkerton Detective Agency and they did go drinking in a wonderful bar at Trelew…I stayed there at Christmas time in 2014. I am going to keep the story simple though and gloss over any facts that don’t agree with me.
I arrived at Cholili just before New Year's Eve and stayed in a backpackers hostel with the most incredible views of the Andes. There was only two of us staying in the hostel. The other chap was a young German man who was visiting relatives in the district who had settled there after the war (the significance of that only dawned on me later). The man who ran the hostel had started a home brewery in a corrugated iron shed, making what he was calling Butch Cassidy Beer. He had never been to the ranch which was only 8 miles from Cholila but he found a sketch map in a magazine and pulled the page out for me.
The ranch is on legally disputed land (the trio left suddenly when the Pinkerton Agency got close) and so has never been taken care of by anyone. It looks exactly as it did more than a century ago.
I think Wikipedia has got all the details wrong. In my memory, the distance to the ranch and its altitude is twice what it says on the internet site. In any event, I set out to walk to the ranch on New Year Eve 2014. It was mid-summer but at this altitude, it was not so hot but the air felt very thin. I was getting breathless even with normal level walking. I was for the first part of the journey walking on a tarmacked road and figured I could hitch but no one stopped. There was a lot of people in cars drunk who waved and cheered but none of them stopped. I brought a day pack with sandwiches. There were no shops open in Cholila but I walked a distance out and bought some food from a woman who had a shop in her house.
You have to believe my memory of the distances/ altitude etc (rather than what the internet says) for this story to sound impressive but what is certain is how much the trek exhausted me and how it produced a kind of sickness. After a lot of wrong turns and many hours of uphill walking, I happened to see a piece of rotting wood with the words Butch Cassidy painted on them tacked onto a fence. I followed the signposted track and after walking across a couple of cleared fields I saw the wood cabins which Butch Cassidy and his friends had vacated very quickly on a day in 1908. I was seeing the place in midsummer but I tried to imagine life there in midwinter when they would have been cut off by snow for weeks at a time. Views from three directions are of the Andes rising up like a great stone wall. The timber of the building is deeply weathered as you might expect.
What especially engaged me was the river that runs forty yards from the cabin. The light up there is intense and clarity of view is exceptional. The river had some white horses at its edge and they looked magnificent (they followed me around). I lay on the grass and ate my spam sandwiches and potato crisps and tried to imprint everything on my mind. One spoiler was a pile of seaside cowboy hats and kids bows and arrows which really confused me. My eldest daughter told me Jeremy Clarkson and his team had been filming a Christmas special, and in one scene had been riding around re-enacting scenes from the film but also pretending to be cowboys. The hostel warden back is Cholila had invited me to his home for a New Years Eve party. I was determined to get there but soon became obvious that I was going to be in no fit state to go, I told him this when I got back but I suspect he was a little bit upset that I had copped out. The long walk back to the hostel had left be utterly exhausted where I had no strength to even get undressed. I am certain part of the problem had been the altitude. The bunk bed was too short for me so I lay on the floor. I had some rum in a flask so drank that and sang along to YouTube videos to see in 2015. The rum settled the muscular twitching and the weird light-headed, nauseous feeling. I had been afraid to fall asleep. The next day the hostel warden came running after me and handed over a pile of Argentinian movies and a few bottles of his Butch Cassidy beer, the value of which exceeded the what I had paid to stay in his hostel I was in a rush as I wanted to catch the famous Patagonian Express fifty miles up the road. I needn’t have bothered as when I got there the driver had put a note torn from an exercise book in the window saying in Spanish he was taking the day off Photos in the comment box Promotional video for Clarkson's programme showing the cabins

HOW YOU CAN BOOST YOUR CHANCES OF SUCCESS If there was one way that you could greatly increase your chances of becoming successful and wealthy you would take it right? You would think so but when you ask most people what the last book they read was they cannot give you an answer. Reading, primarily non-fiction, is a habit of the vast majority of successful business people, leaders and millionaires so why are most people so adverse to it? The most common reason that you will hear, and possibly use, is “I am too busy to read.” Rubbish. If I can work a full-time job, look after our four kids with my wife, clean the house, create the Work Smart Show podcast and blog - along with another podcast coming soon - and still find time then anyone can. Undoubtedly your answer at this point is “but I also...” but that doesn’t matter because there will be something you could also do. Reading, the same as anything in life, needs to be prioritized and possibly even planned or it will not happen. Personally I started getting up half an hour early in the morning, several months ago, to allow more time in my day and I take time to visit the library and read during my lunch break from work at least twice a week. This means it’s harder to avoid or forget and I never regret taking time to read. Currently I am reading a book about the internet, how it practically works and the issues it is creating and solving in the world. Before this was a biography of the most recent CEO of Coca Cola, Neville Isdell, which outlined the creation of the company and brand that is so well known as well as his youth in Africa. Further back was a book examining whether leaders are created in the heat of the moment or take actions based on their previous experience and comparing notable historical leaders and the moments that made them iconic. Before this I read a run of Seth Godin and Gary Vee’s books. Every single one of these books have taught me a vast amount about a huge variety of things. From the list above I learnt about African apartheid from an insider perspective, the branding lessons learned by Coca-Cola, the amazing story of the Louisiana Purchase, what makes Social Media a must for business and exactly how this blog got from my computer to your screen. I understand my interests are almost certainly different than yours but the point is that we can all stand to learn something especially if it ups our chances of success and wealth. On that front I highly recommend Dave Ramsey's, The Total Money Makeover, but why wouldn’t you pick up a book? Make that your challenge this year, to pick up a book, any book and just give it a read. If it needs to be a Jeremy Clarkson book just to keep you interested at first then so be it but get involved. Have your say on Twitter, Facebook, Anchor, Tumblr, Minds or Medium!
