I wonder if and how androids would get tattooed. They can customize their appearance, but that usually doesn't go beyond altering their hair color and hair style. But considering they can also project images onto their hands maybe they could learn (or download the ability) to project images other places as well. They could also just use permanent paint to 'tattoo' their body with their artificial skin retracted.
