gotta show off my latest mech, FRENZIED ALACRITY / CRESTING DAWN, a super speedy pulse blade user i've had a lot of fun making decals for (more screencaps under the cut i couldn't pick one)

look at my gradients boy the warning was gonna say HIGH SPEED ACTUATION but that's a long word to fit on the mech

worked too hard on the mri scan decal for where i wound up putting it.... you really have to look for it

It's sad, though. Because Talbot really was doing pretty well (anger and impulse control aside) before Hale got her hands on him.

Coulson's phrasing when Creel found him, when he told him they "broke" Talbot, he wasn't even wrong. Because not only was she able to get information on SHIELD out of him, but she ripped away everything that made him so formidable as a general. He was almost unrecognizable, both in appearance and in mind.

And even he knew it.

And, then, because he was so broken and vulnerable and used to do wrong, he put all the weight of the world on his shoulders. And made himself the villain in his desire to make everything right.

You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain…

It doesn't get more tragic than that.
