Favorite color: my summer wardrobe says olive green but right now I'm thinking blue? Or grass green?

Current read: halfway through the Past Imperfect series by Fletcher Delancey. It's well-written Star Trek: Voyager fanfic by an author who successfully made the leap from fanfic to published original fic, but kept up her old stories around for people to enjoy. The series starts based around Voyager encountering "the sole survivor of an alien 'sampling' mission," with predictably gay results. I like the way Delancey writes conflict and conflict resolution, and her background in marine biology shines through in her worldbuilding.

Also slowly working my way through the [Science] for Babies series by Chris Ferrie, as they show up at the library, tested on borrowed babies and small children. Today's book was Optical Physics for Babies, which was an excellent introduction to light and how rainbows are made, 7/10, baby liked it, 3-year-old understood and absorbed it (Quantum Mechanics for Babies knocked it out of the park if you're looking for a starting point).

Last Movie: Saving Face, directed by Alice Wu. It's been on my 'to watch' list for Years and finally I can check it off. It was about as enjoyable as I am ever likely to find a romance movie, which is to say it was okay. I enjoyed how complicated everything was, how the movie showed the interpersonal entanglement of a tight-knit community, but I felt the main couple were unsuited for each other.

Last Series: S4 and I have been playing through the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition video games together. We just started me3. It's been a lot of fun seeing them react to everything.

Craving: sushi

Tea or coffee: Tea in the afternoon; coffee in the morning; both in the evening.

Currently working on: I caught the poetry bug again so I've been looking over an old project to see if I want to resurrect it. Still deciding.
