Planet 4546B
You have found yourself stranded on an ocean planet. Your crewmates dead, the Degassi wreckage nowhere to be seen, and now infected with the Carar (an alien bacterium created by the alien race know as Precursors). The planet has a history of missing ships dating back to 30 years ago and many biomes to explore, the water reaching down 3000 meters and 4 Precursor bases scattered around. There’s a wealth of flora, fauna, wreckage, and data logs to find. It’s your job to find, scan, craft, survive, and escape this planet.

Aurora Lore
The Aurora was a space craft sent by the Alterra Corporation, sent out to the Ariadne Arm to build a phasegate, which, if you could not guess by the name alone, was built to teleport people to and from a sent location to make travel, cargo transport, and life in general, much easier.
Unbeknownst to most of the crew (consisting of somewhere above 4000 people), the secondary objective of this mission was to attempt a rescue. Said rescue was for the survivors of the Degassi crew, the Degassi was a ship that was shot down an unspecified amount of time before the Aurora. The amount of time was specified to be 30 years ago.
As the Aurora approached the planet known as Planet 4546B, a planet that mostly consisted of water from what most had assumed. Shortly after entering the planets atmosphere, the ship is struck down by a seemingly impossible pulse of energy, causing catastrophic damage to be inflicted on the hull. The energy had came from the Precursor Array (otherwise known as the G.U.N).
The Player and several other unknown members of the crew are left to escape the now crashing ship, the Lifepods firing off, down onto the planet. When you awaken several hours after the crash, the Lifepod (Lifepod 5) is on fire. Using the fire extinguisher that comes standard with every life pod, you put it out. As one would in such a situation, you leave the Lifepod to check the damages. There you discover the ship that once soared through space with such ease wrecked in the ocean. There you stand, alone, and afraid, but determined to do what you came to do.
