𝐈 𝐇𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐈𝐓 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄
pairing: Keisuke Baji x f!reader
warning(s): angst no comfort, breakup, mention of character death
A/N: Heyo! Sooo…yeah. As you can see, this is another angst story. Long story short, Baji pulls a Takemichi and breaks up with the reader to protect them. But, just listen to the song while reading this! I swear, this shit made me cry while typing 😭 enjoy!
“Meet me outside after school. I need to talk to you…”
Those were the words Baji had said to you for the first time in a week. Usually, he’d greet you with a warm smile and a small kiss to the forehead. But, that wasn’t the case. Baji had been acting weird the past few days and would avoid you everyday, even outside of school. You tried to look for Chifuyu to ask him what was Baji’s deal, but even he refused to talk to you or give any closure on the situation.
The minute school was out, you quickly began to pack your belongings and meet Baji outside. You found him at the back of the school, leaning against the wall with his hair down and his hands shoved into his pockets. He then glanced at you, but wore a serious expression, which made you anxious as to what he wanted to talk to you about.
“What is it that you wanted to talk about, Keisuke?” You asked nervously. Baji pushed himself off the wall and walked towards you.
“I’m breaking up with you.”
You felt your heart sink to your stomach as you stared at him in disbelief. He wore the same stoic expression on his face whilst you felt tears prick your eyes.
“W-what..?” You meekly said.
“Did you not hear me, Y/N? I want to break up. I don’t like you anymore. We’re done.”
His sharp words dug into you like daggers as the tears in your eyes fell freely down your face.
“Kei…you can’t be serious…”
“What does it matter? I don’t like you! Never fucking did! I only asked you out because I hated being teased by our class for being single when I was never interested in the first place! And you also happened to be one of the school’s hottest bitches, so I guess I got lucky! You were nothing but an annoying little shit and all you did was whine the whole damn time! You’re just another fucking nuisance I didn’t need in my life!”
You stood there in silence as Baji yelled in your face. So, all that time he treated you like you were his top priority, from the cute cafe dates and late night motorcycle rides, to study sessions for future tests and spending nights at his house. All his declarations of his love to you and dorky pickup lines and promises of marrying you. All of it…
Was for nothing.
More tears spilled from your eyes and you chuckled dryly at his hurtful words.
“I see…I’m sure you’ll be relieved once I leave, then. I wouldn’t want to cause you any more trouble that I already did the past year.” You said, turning on your heel to walk away. Before you did, you turn your head one last time to look at the ravenette with a sad smile.
“Goodbye…Baji.”
With that, you walk away, leaving the boy standing there. Little did you know, the moment you were out of sight, Baji couldn’t help but repeatedly punch the wall in front of him and scream at the top of his lungs as tears stained his face.
A week had passed since Baji broke up with you. But ever since the incident, you refused to leave your home and locked yourself up in your room. Your mother and father grew more and more worried about you as the days passed. It was Halloween night and your friends blew your phone up trying to invite you to hang out with them, but none of their texts and calls were returned.
For what seemed like eternity, you then heard the doorbell ring. You heard muffled voices from downstairs and recognized one of them aside from your mother’s. It was Mikey. After that, you heard your front door shut, and then heard footsteps from down the hall walking towards your room.
“Y/N, it’s mom. Your friends stopped by a bit ago and wanted me to tell you something.” Your mom paused for a second, letting out a small sigh before continuing.
“Keisuke passed away.”
As those words left your mother’s lips, the hole in your chest sunk deeper and deeper as your eyes widened at the news.
“It was just this afternoon. A fight broke out at an old junkyard and he was involved. He was stabbed from behind in the process…and then stabbed himself…I’m sorry, sweetheart.”
Mustering up the energy you had left, you pushed yourself out of bed and opened your door, revealing your mother’s tear stained face. She held a small box in her hands and handed it to you.
“Your friend, Mikey, told me to give this to you. It’s from Keisuke.”
You looked down at the box and hesitantly took it out of her hands. Your mom then reached for your face and gently caressed your cheek before taking her leave without another word. As you shut your door, you sat down on your bed, eyeing the small blue box in your hand. After staring at it for a bit, you finally decided to open it. Inside it was a beautiful silver ring with a blue heart in the middle of it. On each side of the heart, was both his and your name engraved into the ring. Underneath the ring was a small piece of paper with the words “to Y/N” written on the front. You took the paper out of the box and unfolded it to read it. As you did, your eyes welled up with tears and quietly sobbed, reading every word.
Y/N, my love
By the time you read this, I’m most likely dead already. But, I want you to know that what I said to you was never true. You were never a nuisance and you were never annoying. You are the best thing that’s ever happened to me, and I never want you to forget that. I don’t regret asking you out one bit. I love you so damn much, sometimes I can’t even help myself. No one could ever hold a candle to you. What I did to you, I did because I wanted to protect you, and I know I can never take back the words I said and the pain I caused you. I wish I could’ve told you the truth sooner, but I was certain I was being watched. You’ll always and forever be the most important person in my life. Please don’t ever forget that. Wear this ring with pride, and I’ll always be with you even when I’m not physically there. Protect everyone for me, and take care of yourself.
I love you,
Always and forever
Taking the ring out of the box, you see something engraved inside the band, making you sob even harder and your love for Baji grow even stronger.

𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐒𝐓
ft. Shuji Hanma, Ran Haitani, Shinichiro Sano x gn!reader
warning(s): pure angst no comfort, mentions of cheating, gaslighting, toxic relationship, narcissistic behavior, etc.
A/N: Heyo. I’ve been feeling pretty blue lately, and I haven’t written anything in a minute. Plus, this song has been on repeat for like two days. So, it gave me an idea to write something angsty. I’ve never written angst before, so this is my first time. Sorry if it sucks. Also, each part is separated and based on some lyrics from the song. Enjoy!
Shuji Hanma
“They’re always charismatic, and they’ll turn up the charm. Their words do something magic, saying no is really hard…”
He was very charismatic at first. Charming, even. But, he was also very kind and attentive, gentle, caring, and complimented you every chance he got. Shuji Hanma taught you what affection truly was.
Or so you thought…
In the first few weeks of your relationship, you felt seen, heard, validated, appreciated. Hell, even genuinely loved. At first, Hanma didn’t seem like the affectionate type, but you were proven wrong. You couldn’t believe someone like him would be so into you, no man had never made you feel wanted or treated you so well like he did.
You both had shared similar interests, same fears and insecurities. And you told him about your troubling childhood sob story - one you thought made Hanma want to save you with the love he had to offer you.
A month later, everything came crashing down. Your life had turned upside down, and the man you fell in love with became a monster; cold, distant, and cruel.
Hanma would go missing for days on end, always making sure you knew there was another woman more deserving of his attention, and making you feel utterly worthless in the process. Your texts unanswered, your phone calls ignored…
You were constantly left panicking about where he was and what you had done wrong.
Of course, there were times where you stood up for yourself. But every time you tried, you’d end up fighting and within a few minutes, you would become so confused by his conversation loops that you couldn’t even remember what your arguments were about.
These arguments would sometimes carry on all through the night, not only wearing you down emotionally but also intentionally depriving you of sleep. If you guys weren’t fighting, Hanma would keep you waiting for him all night to achieve the same, knowing you’d be too anxious to go to sleep if he wasn’t home. You had no strength and self-belief left, and very quickly, your reality became non-existent…
Ran Haitani
“So, if you’re feeling crazy, I wouldn’t be surprised. The only thing they’re good at is knowing how to gaslight…”
Ran would tell you about things you allegedly said or done while you both were out and when he wasn’t doing any gang related things, telling you that you’d been an embarrassment. Who was this woman he was talking about? It didn’t sound like you, but he constantly changed the narrative until nothing you thought you remembered seemed to be true anymore.
You knew nothing of gaslighting back then, and didn’t realize that you were being manipulated. Your behaviour became increasingly erratic and irrational, Ran would start to call you “crazy,” and you believed him. So did everyone else…
You could’ve easily walked away, but the relationship you had with Ran Haitani was nothing like a normal relationship; he was very good at being charming when he had an outside audience. In the privacy of your shared apartment, it was like a game of jenga.
We all have building blocks that make up who we are; emotional, financial, relational, aspirational – you name it. And because you trusted Ran and shared your hopes, dreams, but also fears and insecurities with him, you unknowingly gave him the ammunition he needed to destroy you.
He began pulling out one building block after the other, literally playing Reality Jenga, until the life you had built collapsed around you.
Still, you believed your love was real. You thought that, if you had just loved him more, you could save him and you both. Honestly, the thought of losing Ran filled you with sheer panic, so much so that you would experience physical withdrawal symptoms, such as shaking and difficulty breathing. You remember saying at one point: “I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I feel like an addict.”
Shinichiro Sano
“They made you feel like you’re the most beautiful in the world, while they’re sleeping with another girl…”
The red flags were there but you ignored all of them. He ran hot and cold at will, his moods were unpredictable. His actions never matched his words and, while you had never experienced anxiety before, you were now walking on eggshells every minute of every day.
You knew deep down that something was wrong, you could feel it in your gut. But you kept overwriting your intuition and went for it anyway; all you wanted was for Shinichiro to love you like he had.
When he would bring you to a gang meeting, or even to his house to hang out with him and his friends, there was always one other girl that would be part of the group. Whenever you weren’t seen by Shinichiro’s side, he was always seen by hers. A little too close for your liking.
You always brushed it off as you overthinking and Shinichiro would remind you that they were “just friends”, then showered you with all the love and affection you wanted.
Oh, how you wished he was telling the truth..
Six months into the relationship, you both decide to move in together, and within the first week of living in your shared apartment you’d notice a few things that were different like your skincare products being used up pretty quickly despite only having them for a few days, or even noticing some pieces of your jewelry going missing.
You brushed them off again and thought you were being overly sensitive and there were times where you’d bring it up in a conversation. But, no matter what, even if you were justified in your feelings and thoughts, Shinichiro would always turn the situation around to make it seem like you were at fault and he was the victim.
Not only would he take it as a personal attack, but he would likely spend the rest of the evening trying to make you believe that your opinion was wrong and his was right. It was always a competition with him.
The abuse cycle and trauma bond was no joke. You were so desperate for someone to show you they loved you that simply having Shinichiro by your side was amazing. You felt that this is what it was supposed to feel like. When someone loves you, you’re supposed to be the center of their world.
And you were deep in denial for believing in that…

𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐘 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐊𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒
pairing: Eijiro Kirishima x Reader
warnings: none, just some cute rainy day fluff
A/N: Hey, guys. It’s been a minute, and I’m just posting old drafts from my notes because I have ZERO inspiration right now. But, have this in the meantime. Enjoy!
BZZ! BZZ! BZZ!
"H-huh?" You snorted, your head shooting up from underneath your pillow. You lazily wiped the drool from your face and reached out for your phone on your nightstand to shut off the alarm.
"ACK!"
With a loud thud, you fell off the edge of your bed and onto the cold hardwood floor. You let out a groan and finally grab your phone to snooze the alarm and check the time, only to immediately rush out of your room and into your bathroom.
"SHIT, I'M GONNA BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!"
~~~~
After quickly getting dressed, grabbing a piece of toast for breakfast, and stuffing your bag with your notes, you ran out the door without even hearing what your mom said before saying bye. As you neared the school, you grabbed your phone from the side of your backpack to check the time.
8:30 a.m.
"Only ten minutes til first period!" You said, making it to the front entrance. As you reached the classroom, you saw a familiar spiky-haired redhead reaching for the door handle.
"KIRISHIMA!" The boy turned his head towards me. Before he could say anything, you collided into him as you fell onto the ground.
"Ughh...sorry about that, Kirishima." You groaned. You rubbed your head to ease the pain and pushed yourself up, but suddenly locked eyes with Kirishima whose cheeks were dusted with a light blush as he stared at you.
"Are you ok?" You asked, giving him a confused look.
"Uhh....y-yeah, I'm ok, Y/N."
It was quiet for a minute as you just looked at each other, until you both felt a familiar cold glare from Mr. Aizawa.
"Are the two of you just gonna lay there all day with your head in the clouds or do I have to drag you both to your seats? Class starts in one minute. So, I suggest you get a move on.” He said, bringing the both of you back to reality as you fumbled around to quickly take your seats.
~~~~
The bell rang, signaling everyone to go to lunch. You sat at your desk with your head against the table, turned to the side as your face was still exposed. You let out a sigh and closed your eyes for a bit as your mind wandered back to this morning when you bumped into Kirishima.
Now that I think about it, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Kirishima this close before. His eyes were like rubies sparkling in the sunlight. They were the perfect shade of crimson red. It was almost mesmerizing. The way the scar on his right eye made him appear all the more manlier. And his face. He looked so…
“Handsome…” You whispered.
“Whatcha thinkin’ about, Y/N?” Mina asked, leaning against your desk.
“More like who’s she thinking about.” Jirou corrected with a sly grin.
“I bet it’s about what happened this morning with Kirishima.” Hagakure teased. You turned your head the other way to hide the creeping blush on your face.
“Please don’t bring it up…” You said.
“Oh, come on, Y/N. We all saw the way you both stared at each other. It was adorable! I don’t think I’ve ever seen Kirishima blush that much.” You turned your head once more and looked up at Mina.
“It’s not like that at all. It was an accident.” You told the girls. Mina playfully rolled her eyes at you.
“Now, now, girls. Let’s not tease Y/N any further. She’s had enough to deal with for one day.” Momo said to them.
Thank you, Momo.
“Although, it was pretty cute looking at the two of you like that.” You groaned at her response.
“You guys…” You whined as they all giggled.
“Come on, let’s get some lunch.” Mina offered, grabbing your arm and dragging you off your chair.
~~~~
After the last two periods of the day, everyone started to gather their belongings as they made their way out the door to head home.
“See you tomorrow!” Mina said, waving back at you. Once you collected your things, you saw yourself out of the classroom, glancing at the cloudy sky.
I didn’t think it was going to rain today. Oh, well. Better leave now before it pours.
“Y/N, wait!”
You turned to see Kirishima approaching you.
“What’s up?” You asked. He rubbed the back of his neck and averted his gaze, his cheeks hinted with the slightest shade of pink.
“I was wondering if you wanted to walk home together? You know, since we both go the same way.” He asked. You blinked and went quiet for a minute. Suddenly, a wave of embarrassment washed over him as his cheeks grew more and more red.
“B-BUT I MEAN, IF YOU DON’T WANT TO, THEN WE OBVIOUSLY DON’T HAVE TO, Y/N!” You glanced at Kirishima with a small smile graced on your face.
Cute.
“I’d like to.” You answered. He ceased his rambling and cracked a smile as you both walked out the classroom side by side. As you exited school grounds, it had been awkwardly silent between you and Kirishima, until he spoke up a moment later.
“Man, today’s class sure was confusing, huh?” He asked, trying to strike up a conversation.
“Yeah, it was.” You said.
“History was pretty tough. I think Mr. Aizawa’s got it out for me or something. He’s called me out on questions I didn’t know the answers to.” Kirishima chuckled as he rubbed the back of his head.
“Why don’t you study more?”
“I have been, but…” He trailed off.
“What’s wrong?”
“Bakugou’s a pretty scary study partner. He likes to beat the lessons into you.”
Should’ve expected that from an angry Pomeranian…
“If you’d like, you could study with me sometime. My grades aren’t as good as Yayorozu’s, but they’re decent enough. If you ever need help to study, I got you covered.”
As you both walked, he just looked at you before smiling widely.
“Sure!”
Suddenly, you both looked up at the sky and heard the sound of thunder rumbling in the distance. A storm wasn’t too far and was rolling in quick.
“Whoa, hear that?” Kirishima pointed his thumb up to the sky.
“Yup. Would wouldn’t happen to have an umbrella on you, do you?” You asked.
“Nah, sorry. The thought didn’t cross my mind til now..” Kirishima looked away and smiled sheepishly.
I figured…
You then felt a drop of rain hit the top of your head, followed by more as it started pouring down on us quickly.
“Ah, shit!” You exclaimed, covering your head with your bag. You glanced over to Kirishima removing his blazer and throwing it over your head.
“Come on!” He laughed and held out his hand for you to take. You took it and you started running somewhere, hopefully to find a place to hide from the rain.
“There’s a bus stop up ahead. We can stay there until the rain stops!”
As you ran through the rain, you noticed Kirishima’s hair began to droop. His usual spiky hair was now completely soaked from the rain, causing strands of it to fall onto his face.
This is the first time I’ve seen him with his hair down. I always wondered how long his hair would be if it weren’t gelled up all the time.
Eventually, you finally reached the bus stop. Kirishima let out a sigh of relief as he brushed his hair away from his face.
“Whew, I’d say we made it. But, it looks like we both got caught up in the rain, huh?” You playfully rolled my eyes at him and scoffed.
“Please, you’re the one who’s soaked here.” You joked.
“Well, what kind of man would I be if I let a girl get sick from bad weather?” He questioned. You glanced at him and tilted your head a bit before handing back his blazer. He took it and wrapped it around your shoulders, smiling at you.
“Keep it with you to stay warm.” He said.
“What about you? Aren’t you cold?” Kirishima rubbed the back of his neck.
“I can take a hot shower when I get home. It’s no big deal.”
“Alright then. If you say so.” You stared at Kirishima for a bit, still fascinated by how his hair looked the way it did. He glanced at you and shot you a confused look.
“What’s wrong?” He asked. You felt your cheeks heat up and quickly looked away.
“N-nothing! It’s just that…it’s rare to see you with your hair down.” You admitted.
“Yeah, that’s true. I guess it couldn’t withstand the heavy rain.” He laughed a bit.
“I like it.” You said, barely a whisper. Kirishima heard you and blushed, but laughed and ruffled your hair.
“You’re so cute, Y/N!”
It was quiet for a moment again. Listening to the light pitter-patter of the rain.
“You know, it’s nice to listen to the rain. As a kid, I was always afraid of thunderstorms ‘cause of how loud they were. The sound would always scare me. Now, whenever it rains like this, I’d always feel at ease.” You hummed in response.
“I was never one for thunderstorms growing up. I’m still not. I love rainy weather, but thunderstorms are a different story.” You let out a small sigh, lightly jumping from the sound of thunder rumbling in the distance, in which Kirishima seemed to notice.
“Y/N, are you afraid of thunder and lightning?” He asked. You didn’t respond, but your silence was enough.
“I see.”
“It’s fine, though. I’m used to getting through stuff like this on my own.” You told him. Kirishima let out as small gasp and you chuckled dryly.
“What about your parents? Didn’t they ever tell you not to be afraid?” You were hesitant to answer his question at first, yet you felt like you could trust him with almost anything. You breathed out and clenched the hem of your skirt.
“My dad died when I was little and my mom was always away at work. I never had any other siblings growing up, so, I was on my own.” You said.
“Now that she mentioned it, Y/N was always doing stuff by herself. She always trained and studied on her own, and she never asks anyone for help even though we’re so close and she desperately needs it. She was always on her own.” Kirishima thought to himself.
“I get it now, Y/N. And, I’m sorry to hear about your dad. But, you don’t have to worry about that anymore.” You looked at the boy as he turned his gaze towards you. Suddenly, a loud boom was heard, causing you to jump and unconsciously bury your face into Kirishima’s chest. He chuckled and gently wrapped his arms around you, rubbing his thumb against your back.
“It’s alright, Y/N. You don’t have to be afraid. I’m always gonna be here for you, okay? You can always count on me and your classmates for help. It’s what makes us a team.” He said reassuringly.
His voice is so soothing. And his kind, reassuring words make me feel safe.
You looked up at Kirishima and locked eyes with him again. His smile was gentle as he held you closer to him, not letting go. Without even realizing it, you stood up on your toes and kissed him. Kirishima’s eyes widened as he was taken aback by your actions. The kiss was briefly cut short and your face grew red.
“I-I’m sorry, Kirishima! I don’t know what came over me! It was an accident!” You rambled. But, Kirishima looked at you as you continued before bringing his hand up to your cheek and pulling you in once more. Your rambling came to a halt as your lips connected to his and your eyes slowly fluttered shut. The kiss lasted a few seconds longer until he pulled away and rested his forehead against yours, his hand still resting on your cheek.
“You’re so adorable when you ramble on like that. Kinda reminds me of Midoriya.” He said, making you giggle. You both noticed the rain beginning to let up and stepped out of the bus stop to start heading home together.
“So, what does this make us? Are we together?” You asked. He didn’t hesitate to intertwine his hands with yours.
“Would you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?” Kirishima smiled brightly as I nodded in response.
“I’d love to.”
CAPTAIN KATSUKI BAKUGOU pt. 1
pairing: Pirate!Bakugou x Mermaid!Reader
warning(s): none
A/N: At this point, I’m just gonna be posting old drafts I’ve had on my phone until I come up with some new ideas. But, anyways, all characters, including the reader, are aged up here. Enjoy~
Far out at sea, down to the deepest spot, there stood the sea-king’s palace, its walls made of coral and tall pointed windows made from the clearest amber. In the palace, lived my father, who had been widowed for years, my grandmother, and my five older sisters, each of us a year apart. My grandmother would tell my sisters and I that on our eighteenth birthday, we would be allowed to venture up to the surface of the ocean and watch as vast ships sail by, where we would see cities filled with people. As the years passed, watching each of my sisters leave to go up to the surface, it was finally my turn, for I was now eighteen.
But, my father had announced that I wouldn’t be going up to the surface like my sisters did, and instead had bigger things planned for me. I was to be betrothed to another prince in three days. I refused to accept my father’s demands and wanted to see the human world. Sadly, my efforts to change my father’s mind were to no avail. He then offered me a deal. If I were able to find true love within the three days, he would call off the wedding. But, if I were to fail, I was to be married off to whomever my father chose to be the perfect fit for me. Upset by this, I decided to swim away from home, where I came across a small hut shrouded by large amounts of seaweed that belonged to an old witch.
Upon arrival, I was met by the witch herself, where I bargained for a spell that would turn me into a human and be able to explore the world above, and hopefully find true love. The witch then gave me an elixir that would change my tail into legs by day, but couldn’t be touched by water, for my legs would turn back into a tail. What I offered the witch in return was a pendant left by my mother before she died, with our family crest engraved on it. With that, the witch told me to venture to the surface of the nearby kingdom before sunrise, swim up to shore and sit there, then take the elixir. After that, my tail would spit into what humans call “a nice pair of legs”. But, she warned me to back away from the water immediately if I didn’t want my tail to reappear. As the witch finished explaining what I had to do, I traded my pendant for the elixir and thanked her.
I recalled my grandmother mentioning a kingdom not too far from home resided nearby, where one of my sisters said to have known the identity of one of the people who lived there. The young prince, Shoto Todoroki. Upon reaching the prince’s palace, the sun had not yet appeared and I made my way up to the sandy shore where I took the elixir, the moon shone wonderfully clearly. I then downed the fiery sharp drink, and I suddenly felt woozy. After that, I was put to sleep on the beach. When the sun shone over the sea, I woke up to my head hurting, but right in front of me stood the prince, as handsome as ever.
He had unusual hair. One I have never seen before in my life. On one side, it was as white as the sea foam, and the other was a vibrant red. His eyes were two different colors, too. But, they were two of the most beautiful colors I ever laid my eyes upon. They were fixed on me, and my (e/c) ones wandered down to my tail, only to find that it was no longer there and they were replaced with legs as soft as silk, but felt exposed as I was bare naked. As the prince asked who I was and how I came to be there, I couldn’t tell him about what I truly was. So instead, I lied and said that I was involved in a terrible shipwreck during a storm, and that the crew I was with had all died. After that, he quickly carried me to his palace and I was then pampered as I would be at home, but as a human.
Soon, I felt as if I was becoming closer to the prince. He told me all about himself and what he liked to do, told me stories about pirates that even I have heard as a child, and we both sang songs we were familiar with from childhood. He even trusted me enough to tell me about his personal life, such as his father being cruel to him and his siblings, even their mother. He also mentioned that he was involved in a shipwreck on his birthday and was saved by someone, unaware that the person who saved him that fateful evening was me.
If he trusts me enough to tell me this information, then maybe…
“Prince Shoto, I-“ I started, but he cut me off with a light chuckle.
“I told you, just call me Shoto.” He replied. I nodded in response.
“Shoto. I have something to tell you, as well.” I said to him.
“What is it?” He asked. Without a word, I took his hand in mine and guided him to the same place he found me when we first met.
“Stay right here.” I said, letting go of his hand. I backed away and began stripping myself from the nightgown I had on. Shoto became a stuttering mess as his cheeks grew red.
“Y-Y/N, what on earth are you doing?!” He frantically averted his eyes.
“I promise you, I didn’t bring you here to seduce you. Please, calm yourself.” I assured him. “This is the spot where you found me that day. I brought you here because I have something to show you.” Once my nightgown was removed, I began backing away from Shoto.
“Within the week I have gotten to know you, you have shown me nothing but kindness, both you and your servants. And I am more than grateful for that. You’ve even trusted me enough to tell me how your family was treated by your father. I am sorry you all had to go through that, especially you and your mother. Truly, I am. But, what I am about to tell you, you cannot tell anyone else.”
“What are you doing, Y/N?” He asked. With every step, I neared the water.
“I haven’t been fully truthful with you, Shoto. And I apologize. But, you are very important to me. I want to tell you that I am in love with you, Prince Shoto. And I hope you won’t hate me for who I am when I reveal myself.” With that, I felt the cold water touch my feet, and a tingling sensation washed through my legs. Suddenly, I lost balance and lowered my eyes to see that my tail has returned. I looked up at Shoto, whose grey and blue eyes were widened in shock.
“My father is the King of the sea, and I’m one of his six daughters. The youngest. I swam away from home because I am to be wedded to a prince in three days. My father offered that if I were to find true love within those three days, he would call off the wedding. But, if I failed, I would have no choice but to marry whoever my father chose to be my husband. I turned to an old witch and asked for a spell that would grant me the ability to turn into a human. In exchange for a pendant given to me by my mother, she gave me an elixir that would turn me human, but would change me back if my legs were to touch water, and change into legs once more when dry. I was in no shipwreck, and I was with no crew. But, I am the one who saved you from drowning the night of your birthday. I am but a harmless sea creature, seeking love and acceptance.” I looked away. “I hope this doesn’t change the way you view me, Shoto. But, know that I am very much in love with you and that you are very important to me. I hope you feel the same way, despite what I am…”
“Y/N…” Shoto said, pinching the bridge of his nose. “I-I don’t know what to say.”
“Do you feel the same way about me, Shoto?” I asked, looking at him in desperately. He let out a sigh and picked up my nightgown from the sand.
“Please put your clothes back on. It’s late and we need to rest. This is a lot to take in right now.” He simply said, a stoic expression on his face. I felt my heart drop as I crawled away from the water, feeling my tail quickly dry and dissolve into sea foam, revealing my legs once again. After that, Shoto handed me my nightgown while averting his eyes as to give me privacy. Once I was fully clothed again, he began making his way back to the palace. I lowered my head and trailed behind him, none of us saying a word. That night, I wasn’t able to get any sleep, and began to cry.
He doesn’t feel the same way…
On the third and final day, I woke up to the sound of Shoto’s voice, along with another. Curiously, I exited my bedroom and made my way down the stairs. I hid behind one of the pillars as to not be seen by anyone, and saw Shoto with one of the servants. Midoriya, if I’m correct. There was another girl whom I’ve never met standing beside Shoto with her arms linked around his. Her hair was tied back into a spiky ponytail with a large strand hanging from the side of her beautiful face. She wore an elegant red dress that dropped to the floor and fitted her figure quite well.
“So, Prince Shoto. It appears you’ve finally made your decision?” Midoriya asked.
“Yes, I have.” He replied. “I have decided to take Princess Yayorozu’s hand in marriage.” Midoriya nodded in response.
“I see. I will let your father know about the news and within a few days time—“
“I would like to have the wedding this afternoon.” Shoto demanded. Midoriya gave him a questioning look.
“B-but, your Highness. These kind of things take time to plan.” The boy insisted.
“This afternoon, Midoriya. At sunset.” Shoto replied, the same stoic expression painted on his face like the night before. The green-haired boy let out a sigh, giving the prince a worried look.
“Very well, your Highness. As you wish.” With that, he left the two alone to announce the wedding preparations. I felt tears stream down my face as I ran back to my room, careful not to make it aware that I was watching.
Hours had passed and the wedding already began. I watched from my bedroom window as Yayorozu walked down the isle, clad in the most beautiful wedding dress I’d ever seen.
I should be wearing that dress.
I watched as the music came to an end and the princess made it to Shoto’s side. The man in front of them began to welcome everyone who had come to the wedding and started the readings.
I should be the one by his side.
My fists clenched as they faced each other and sealed their marriage with a kiss, making them officially married. The audience applauded as the newly wedded couple made their way down the isle hand in hand, waving as they passed by.
I should be the one married to him!
The crowd continued to applaud the couple walking past as they followed them into the dock where the wedding ship was, ready to set sail. As they boarded, the crowd did the same and the ship prepared to move.
SHOTO WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MINE!
Once everyone was onboard, the ship took off, leaving only me behind at the palace. I continued to watch from my window as the ship sailed farther away from the palace into the sunset. Fresh tears fell from my eyes and I unclenched my fists, weeping softly.
He could never love someone like me…
The moon gleamed brightly into the night. I stood in front of the water, barefoot and wearing the same dress Shoto had given me when we first met. I began walking towards the water, feeling the same tingling sensation as before, and soon after, my tail reappeared once again. But, I did not return to shore and swam towards the wedding ship. Once there, I swam up to the cabin window where I believed Shoto and Yayorozu were. I looked through the mirror-clear window and saw that they were both asleep in each other’s arms. It angered me that I wasn’t the one he proposed to, but it saddened me that he could never love someone like me. I could never bring myself to hate the person that cared for me. I loved him too much to do so.
He’s better off being married to a real human. Not a creature with a fish’s tail.
With one final glance, I whispered my last goodbye and swam off into the depths of the sea, swimming wherever the current took me. After what seemed like a few days, I continuously swam further and further away, ending up in the middle of nowhere.
I can’t stay at the palace any longer and be reminded of Shoto’s recent marriage to the Princess, but…I can’t go back home and be married off to some spoiled squid chosen by my father. This is pointless…
Suddenly, a large net comes down over me. Frightened, I swim away as fast as I could, but was caught. With a quick swoop, I was brought up to the surface. My eyes fell upon a vast galleon. Bigger than any other galleon I’d ever seen. It had sails as black as night and a torn up flag with a rather intimidating skull on it. I softly gasped and struggled to escape the net, but was soon hovering over a group of men cheering and clamoring. They were all decorated with pistols and swords and many trinkets upon their past adventures. I was lowered onto the deck, still struggling to escape the netted contraption.
“Look at what we have ‘ere, boys! We’ve just caught ourselves a real live mermaid!” A man upon to the crew said, making the others cheer and laugh at their latest catch. The same man reached out to touch me, but I let out a hiss and nearly bit off his hand. The guy retracted his arm and laughed.
“Careful, men. She’s a feisty one!” He jeered.
“HEY!”
The crew went dead silent and turned their heads towards the booming, gruff voice. I turned to see a young man of average height, fair skin tone, and spiky ash blonde hair. He was also adorned by trinkets and beads here and there and wore a faded tricots hat with two decorated feathers on it. What really caught my attention were his fiery vermilion eyes glowering at everyone.
I assume he’s the captain of this horrid establishment.
He was accompanied by three other men and two women behind him, also looking down at the crew. Each of them had unusually colorful hair, kind of like Prince Shoto. One of the men had a black streak on their golden bangs, and there was a vivacious young woman with rather pink skin and hair, and her eyes were pitch black with yellow irises.
“What the hell are you bilge-sucking bastards yelling for?” He stepped down the stairs from the deck, his boots clicking against the creaking floorboards. The men then made way for the captain as he stood over me before crouching down to my level to get a closer look.
“Well, you’re an odd fish to catch.” He said.
Suddenly, I felt my tail becoming dry and within seconds, sea foam began to form over it and revealed my legs once again. I brought my knees up to my chest and wrapped my arms around myself to cover up the fact that I was naked in front of a bunch of pirates. The men gasped at the sudden change and backed away from me. With a click of the captain’s tongue, he grinned.
“So, what exactly are you, huh? Some kind of ungodly water spirit I’ve never heard of?” The captain’s fiery eyes roamed over me, looking at the many scales that dimly shimmered across my skin. I grimaced and bared my teeth at the captain.
“What do you care?” I hissed, backing away. The captain raised an eyebrow.
“Well, I don’t want some creature killing me or my crew in our sleep. Something that the creatures of the sea like to do.” The captain’s eyes met mine, steel cold. With that, he stood up, never breaking eye contact with me.
“Kirishima, Dunce Face. Take this fish to the brig.”
“Come on, Captain. Why’d you have to call me that?” The one the captain called “Dunce Face” whined.
“THAT’S ‘CAUSE YOU ARE ONE, YOU IDIOT!” The captain yelled.
“Calm yourself, will you, Captain? Come on, Kaminari.” The redhead known as Kirishima told him, taking off his long brown coat as the other boy, Kaminari, removed the net from me. Kirishima came to my side to wrap his coat around me, but I back away from him and narrowed my eyes.
“Easy, there. I’m not gonna hurt you.” He assured. I relaxed my shoulders and allowed him to offer me his coat.
“Oi, Fish Tail. Since you’re able to sprout legs just like that, I’m sure you can walk. So, get to it!” The captain ordered, his arms crossed. I slowly rose to my feet and the two men escorted me to a door that led below the main deck. Once there, they put me into a cell and locked me in.
“I’m sure Mina will have something for you to wear. In the meantime, keep my coat for now so you won’t freeze to death.” Kirishima said. With that, the two made their way back up to the main deck and I was left alone in the cold cell. I sighed as I backed away into the corner, pulling the warm coat closer to me and letting out a long sigh.
Can things get any worse than this?
“𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐋𝐘” 𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑
pairing: Bakugou x Reader
warnings: mild language
A/N: Your dad is a high-ranked Pro Hero from America and is known as Acat, named after the Mayan deity. He had the ability to manipulate his tattoos and either manifest them physically or gain its powers directly. This was just a draft from my notes that I wrote a few months back. Enjoy~
It had been about a week since you transferred from your old school in America to U.A. High. Your father was one of the top ten Pro Heroes in America and was offered to work in Japan with the no.3 Pro Hero, Best Jeanist. Despite how intimidating your dad appeared to be and the insatiable amount of tattoos that decorated his body, he was well respected by everyone and had made his way up to the top ten in America, much like Hawks.
Apparently, your father and Jeanist knew each other when they went to U.A and both wanted to become heroes. Unfortunately, your dad ended up moving to America years later. But then, Best Jeanist recently reached out to your dad via email and offered him to work alongside him now that they were heroes and maybe even catch up, which your dad couldn't refuse. After you had moved all your belongings into the new house, you attended school the next day and got immediately put into the hero course in class 1-A under recommendations.
You were currently at your new home not too far the school, unpacking whatever it was you had left from your old house that you haven't unpacked yet into the new one. Just then, you heard a knock on your door, revealing your father behind it.
"I take it everything's going well?" He asked. You nodded in response.
"I just need to put whatever's left away and then I'll be finished with my room. After that, I'll be heading downstairs in the gym to train. Oh, and I'll be having a few friends over, if that's alright." You informed him. He simply hummed as he leaned against the door frame with his arms crossed.
"You don't seem very bothered by the fact that we live in Japan now. You're not at all upset that you had to leave your old school behind in America?" He questioned. You stopped what you were doing and turned towards him.
"To be perfectly frank, I don't really mind at all. It was always a dream of mine to come to Japan. Not only did that dream come to fruition, but I also attend one of it's most prestigious schools with the best hero courses in the city. Sure, I could've picked Shiketsu High, but after learning that you graduated from U.A, I wanted to attend the same school like you." Your dad sighed and smiled gently at your response. After emptying out the last box you had, you stretched my arms out, hearing the satisfying sound of your joints popping.
"Besides, I've heard a lot about Shiketsu High. How the school's practically old-fashioned as hell, they don't even allow their students to date. I wouldn't wanna go to a school where I couldn't have a relationship with anybody outside of school. That would just be so boring." Your dad let out a chuckle and walked over to you, setting his hand on top of your head.
"You're just like your mother. Her parents never even allowed her to date me when we first met. And yet, she managed to work things out in the end. She was strong, yes. But, at heart, she was always a hopeless romantic." You looked up at your dad before breaking out into a fit of laughter, taking your dad aback.
"HAHAH! YOU MAKE IT SOUND AS IF SHE PASSED AWAY OR SOMETHING!" You guffawed, clutching your stomach.
"WELL, YOUR MOTHER’S ALWAYS AWAY FOR HER PHOTOSHOOTS, AND I HARDLY EVER GET TO SEE HER WHEN SHE’S GONE!” He protested. You laughed even harder as you began rolling around on your bedroom floor. Your mother worked as a model for a famous fashion designer who just so happened to be from Japan, as well. She was currently away on a business trip in Hawaii for another photoshoot that lasted until the end of the week. After what seemed like forever, you finally collected yourself and wiped away a stray tear from your eye.
"Don't worry. She said she'd be here in the next few days or so to see the new house. You'll be fine til then, Dad." You assured him, patting him the the back. He just stared back at you and was pouting like a child. Just then, you both heard the sound of his phone vibrating as he reached into his pocket to answer it. After exchanging a few words, he hung up the phone and ruffled your hair.
"That was Best Jeanist. I gotta head down to his agency for a patrol. I’ll see you at dinner.” Your dad told you.
"Alrighty, then." With that, you waved your dad goodbye as he exited your room and you started to remove the empty boxes from your room. Moments after he left, your doorbell rang. You made your way down the stairs to the front door as you happily swung it open, greeting them kindly. You were met by Mina, who you instantly became friends with on your first day at U.A High, and a few others you had also met during your first week.
"Hey, Mina! Glad you could come!" You said, giving her a tight hug.
"No sweat, Y/N! I brought along a few other friends you might like." She unwrapped her arms around you as her friends began introducing themselves to you. A boy with short gold hair and a black lightning-shaped streak on the left side of his bangs pointed his thumb at himself.
"I'm Denki Kaminari! It's nice to finally meet you. Gotta say, you look real pretty up close." He complimented, making you chuckle. The tall kid next to Kaminari waved politely at you with a grin.
"Hi, I'm Hanta Sero." He said. You waved back at him, returning the smile. There were two boys standing next to each other, both with unruly spiky hair. One red, and the other, blonde.
"I'm Eijiro Kirishima. We're glad to have you at U.A High!" The boy known as Kirishima greeted with a smile. You noticed his teeth were sharp and pointed that it reminded you of a shark. Now, that you thought about it, he almost resembled one, too. Kirishima pointed this thumb at the boy next to him, who had a scowl on his face as his hands were stuffed into his pockets.
"And this angry dude is Katsuki Bakugou. He has that look on his face because it took us a while to convince him to come with us." He explained.
Not one to be around people, I see.
"Shut the hell up, Shitty Hair. Just be glad that I agreed to even be here with you idiots." He growled.
So rude...
"Come on in, you guys. Have a seat in the living room while I grab us some drinks." You said to them, making your way into the kitchen to grab a couple drinks to serve. As they shut the front door and sat on the couch, you came back with some cans of melon soda you had bought the other day at the convenience store and handed each of them one, thanking you as they cracked their cans open.
"So, how do you like your new place? You still getting settled in?" Kirishima asked, noticing the few boxes left on the kitchen counter.
"Just a few things here and there that need to be unpacked. Other than that, it's going well. I'm loving it so far." You took a sip of your beverage and sat next to Mina.
"What made you wanna move to Japan in the first place?" Sero questioned.
"My dad used to live here when he was my age and attended U.A., as well. He and Best Jeanist actually knew each other back in the day. Pretty cool if you ask me."
"Wait, your dad knows Best Jeanist?!" You nodded your head at Mina and smiled.
“Yup. They were friends until my dad moved to America. Still are to this day. You all probably know him as the Body Art Hero, Acat.” You replied.
“YOUR DAD’S A HERO?!” Mina, Kaminari, and Sero all yelled simultaneously.
“That’s right. Like the kid with the candy cane hair in our class, Todoroki, my father is also a Pro Hero.” You said calmly.
“So, your dad’s part of the top ten heroes in America and he’s friends with Japan’s no.3? That’s so cool!” Kaminari nudged Bakugou on the arm with a smirk.
“Hey, Bakugou. Since her dad knows Best Jeanist, maybe she can intern with him, too.” He suggested. Bakugou looked at the golden-haired boy with a scowl.
“Tch. Yeah, right. As if I’d wanna deal with another damn extra from our class.“ he retorted.
“Actually, you know what? On the topic of that, I might just end up working in Best Jeanist’s agency, as well. It’s only understandable since my dad works alongside him now.” You said, spitefully. There was a visible vein that popped off the side of Bakugou forehead as he clenched his fists, crushing the empty can in the process.
“Let’s get one thing straight, newbie. It doesn’t matter if your daddy’s a popular hero from another country, I am and always will be better than any of you. Even if they decide to put you in the same agency, you’ll never beat me, got it?” He snarled. You closed your eyes and casually took a sip of your drink.
“Bakugou, it wouldn’t hurt to be a tad bit nice .” Kirishima sighed.
“HUH?! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO, SHITTY HAIR?! FUCKING DIE!” He screamed, small explosions popping from his palms. Mina put her hand on your shoulders reassuringly.
“Don’t worry about him, Y/N. You may have been here for only a week, but he’s been like this since school started. You’ll get used to it eventually.” She said. You gently set down your can onto the coffee table and let out a sigh.
Not the first impression I wanted to make…
“Listen here, you damn Pomeranian.” Your hair was shrouding your eyes. You could feel the tension in the air. Bakugou stopped bickering with Kirishima and turned to you upon hearing the nickname you had given him.
“The fuck did you just call me?” He sneered. “I’ll fucking kill-“ before he could finish his threat, you abruptly grabbed Bakugou by the front of his shirt, teleporting from your seat next to Mina within a blink of an eye and catching everyone off guard (think of it as Koro-Sensei traveling at Mach 20). The room fell silent as the other three looked between you and Bakugou.
“Frankly, I don’t give a damn what agency I end up in, whether it’d be Best Jeanist’s or someone else’s. Hell, I honestly couldn’t give a fuck about being the best hero, either. But, let me make something very clear.” You lifted your head to glare at the boy.
“You will not disrespect me or my father in my own house. I don’t care what your intentions are, I will not tolerate that kind of bullshit in my home, got it?” You told the boy in a low, threatening tone. Bakugou didn’t say a word, but simply scoffed and complied when he averted your gaze on him. You let go of his shirt and backed away from him.
“I could easily beat your ass right here, right now. But, I choose not to do that. So, I’ll let you off with a warning. I’m not that intolerant. But, if there were to even be a next time I let you into my house, I will wipe my floors with your face.” After an awkward moment of silence, Kaminari spoke up, rubbing the back of his neck.
“Damn, remind me not to piss you off.” He joked. After that scenario, you ended up giving the group a tour of the house and eventually played video games in your living room the rest of the day. Little did you all know, Bakugou had a small hint of pink dusted on his cheeks the entire visit.
That shitty girl…
BIKER GIRL
ft. Ken Ryuguji, Baji Keisuke, Mitsuya Takashi x f!reader
content: Toman boys finding out their s/o owns a motorcycle
warnings: none
A/N: Hello, there. This is my first time posting here on an old Tumblr account I haven’t used in years. Honestly, after watching Tokyo Revengers, the show made me remember how much I’ve always wanted a motorcycle of my own growing up (I’m 21 now and still want one). But, y’all know how most families can be about the idea and/or are against their child wanting or even buying their own motorcycle (for good reason cuz people can’t drive for shit sometimes). Anyways, enjoy~
KEN RYUGUJI:
Motorcycle: 2005 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6RR
You were driving around town one day and just happened to run into Draken at a red light
He didn’t know it was you since you had a helmet on. Honestly, you weren’t even paying attention and didn’t realize he was right next to you
Lowkey thought it was hot that a girl drove a motorcycle
You happened to run into Draken again on the way home at a gas station and he noticed you this time
Pretty surprised that you owned a motorcycle and never told him about it
“Because you never asked…?”
Asked if you wanted to ride with him some time and even offered to fix your bike if it had any problems
Late night motorcycle rides
Got Draken’s tattoo on the side of your bike to match his bike
KEISUKE BAJI:
Motorcycle: 2003 Suzuki GSX-R 1000
You were invited to tag along with Emma at a Toman meeting since she was with Draken and wanted to hang out
Casually rolled up to the meeting and a few members asked you why you were there, then told you to leave or they would scrap your motorcycle for parts
“You dickwads lay a finger on my bike and I’ll make sure you’ll never be able to ride yours again.”
Out of everyone else, Baji was the only one who never knew you owned a motorcycle
Would definitely try to race you if you guys were out and about
Loser would owe the winner lunch
Of course, he’d lose to you most of the time and owe you lunch
If you lost to him, not only did you owe your boyfriend lunch, you’d also pay him with cuddles and kisses
MITSUYA TAKASHI:
Motorcycle: 2003 Suzuki GSF 1200S Bandit
Surprised him by bringing him over to your place and telling him your uncle got it for your birthday
A bit skeptical and worried about you owning a motorcycle after being taught to ride on his for only a month, but is still happy for you cuz he loves you
Is lowkey like your dad
Will bring you to a store and buy you the proper gear when you ride and find you the best highly recommended durable helmet
“Babe…you literally wear your helmet around your neck and almost never wear any gear when you drive.”
“I just want my babygirl to be safe, that’s all. Plus, I think this helmet would look pretty cute on you. It even matched the color of your bike!”
He’s a dork, but you love him anyways and just go with it
Eventually gains enough trust to let you drive without a helmet or protective gear every now and then
Will text you at 3am to ride with him if he couldn’t go to sleep and tell him to stay the night instead of drive home
