I got to hand it to @thermodynamiclawyer she does do a laborious good job translating the story cutscenes of Lost qualia, i would really give in my event quest story cutscene clips if she wanted them maybe the conversations the occur in the menu between quests. Despite that my activity is kind of slow recently. i will try to will myself to reblog and post more whenever possible.

i already got the tutorial/intro of LQ done, here’s part 1 of the other cutscenes. i’ll be uploading more as i get them done

ugh. whatever. At least I have somewhere to write things down.

So, I'm not sure what happened. I must've lost a few days, or something? Last thing I remember, I was looking for something...no! I was on my way to a new job, I think, and I walked into this creepy looking like...boarding house? Hotel? I'm not even sure. I was gonna ask for directions. I remember I was feeling really disoriented. But like...it was the only place for a bit in any direction, and I didn't want to keep going the way I was without asking first, and just end up getting more lost, y'know?.

Seriously tho, look at this place. I snapped a pic as I walked in. And yes, I know, taking photos in portrait mode is trash, but I was really out of it, okay?

So I walked inside, and there was this...old guy there? He's called Gregory. His name was on the gate when I walked in, "Gregory House."

I'm just realizing now that he's...a giant rat. What that hell? I must have imagined that. Also, what kind of hotel, or boarding house has graves outside?

Anyway, I don't remember what happened really. Suddenly there were four of him, and he was arguing with himself, and...god...it was really confusing, but after a bit, he told me I'd been hired as co-manager? I wasn't about to say no to a job like that, but is this place really where I meant to end up?

I guess it must be, right? I mean...who would hire someone they don't expect? And I have luggage, so...I must have meant to be here.

So now I'm sitting in my room--I get my own--and I uh. Start work tomorrow. I know I should get some rest. I'm actually pretty tired, but...I'm nervous.

It's a longshot, but anyone have any advice for starting a new job, when your memory is suddenly playing tricks on you?

Apparently, this person has a app where you can translate the Japanese dialogue, even in GHS: Lost Qualia, i don’t know how accurate it will be, but at least we will now know what the characters are saying.
