ZenYuki Valentine's 2022

We're celebrating Valentine's Day a little early this year, and we're doing so with ZenYuki in mind! ZenYuki Valentine's will run from January 17th through February 14th, 2022, a five week event leading us all the way up to Valentine's Day! It's theme is the Five Love Languages! Any amount of submissions throughout a given week is wonderful, whether it is one from a participant for the week or whether, someone chooses to do a different thing each day. Even if your submission is running a little late (or very late) it will still be counted. So, fill as many or as little of the prompts as you want to, as we count down to Valentine's Day together, with this beloved ship. Make sure to @ ZenYuki Festival with your submissions in their posts, and to use ZenYuki Valentine's in one of your first five tags. Weekly prompts down below:

It even has dialogue! Week Three: Receiving Gifts lets goooo. Shirayuki growing flowers (that are not medical herbs) in her free time, reading all about their meanings and gifting them to Zen and all her friends is my favourite headcanon. She’s got lot of pretty flowers and lot of love so Zen is basically drowning in them at the end of the day.

A Zenyuki Valentine’s Playlist (for Weeks 1 and 2 by @zenyuki-festival-2021​)

I tried a lot of different strategies for this month’s playlists… eventually rediscovering Dave’s Midnight Television and old Mae stuff after his latest livestream so the one long playlist became three smaller playlists (with a classic long Mae song at the end of each). (The three playlists also ended up being chronological again: from beginnings to present time together to reminiscing.)  This one focuses on the themes for Weeks 1 and 2, mostly words of affirmation through confessions of love as analogies and acts of service through chivalry.
