a/n sorry for the short chapter but i did it for a reason i promise !!

i watched with bated breath as tooru raised the sketch up to his face, eyes scrunching in either concern or wonder — i couldn't really tell — before unceremoniously tossing it back onto the counter.

"yeah, you're in kinda deep y/n," he deadpanned. i gaped at him, jerking back as if he had suddenly struck me.

"w-what?" i sputtered. "that's all you have to say?"

tooru shrugged and gestured back over to the drawing. "the evidence is pretty clear to me. i mean, weren't you the one who said you've been struggling to create something for your exhibition, and now all of a sudden koushi's face is the first thing that came to you?"

well when he put it like that...

as if sensing my inner turmoil, tooru flashed me a bright smile and clapped his hand on my shoulder. "talk to me, y/n. what are you thinking?"

i slumped down on the sofa chair behind me, trying (and failing) to keep the emotion out of my voice. "i don't...really know? i've never done this before—never drew anyone i knew, i mean—but i just couldn't stop. i needed some inspiration and he was the first person i thought of. it's like he was my—"

i froze. a ghost of a smile appeared on tooru's lips.

"fuck, i am in kinda deep."

i thought back to all of the times he and i spent time together, the most recent one fresh in my mind. it was supposed to be just another casual evening, but as i watched koushi laugh at a silly joke, a familiar warmth spread through me, more intense than before and one i failed to notice. the way his eyes sparkled, the easy comfort of his presence—it all hit me like a wave.

in that moment, i realized that my feelings for koushi had grown into something deeper, something i could no longer ignore. it was as if the universe had suddenly shifted, making everything clear in a single, breathtaking instant. i caught myself smiling just thinking about it, my heart racing with the weight of unspoken words, and i knew that this was no longer just friendship; it was something much more.

as i slumped deeper into the cozy sofa, the weight of my unspoken feelings for koushi seemed almost too much to bear. tooru, with his signature blend of wisdom and humor, noticed the furrow in my brow and leaned in, ready to dispense his trademark advice.

“alright, spill it,” he said, his eyes twinkling with a knowing glint. “you’ve got this look that says you’re about to burst.”

with a deep breath, i poured out my tangled emotions, and tooru listened intently, nodding thoughtfully. after a pause, he finally spoke, “listen, liking someine isn’t a formula you can solve with logic alone. It’s about being honest with yourself and with koushi. if you care about him this much, just let them him know—no scripts, no pressure. sometimes, the best thing you can do is be brave enough to show your true feelings.”

his words, simple yet profound, gave me a newfound sense of clarity and courage, making me feel ready to take the leap and face the uncertainty with a hopeful heart.

i felt like i could breathe again.

"kei was right. you do have really good advice. your boyfriend is really lucky to have you," i praised. tooru laughed in response.

"he would probably say otherwise, but thank you y/n."

Minamoto no Tametomo (源 為朝, 1139 – April 23, 1170), also known as Chinzei Hachirō Tametomo (鎮西 八郎 為朝), was a samurai who fought in the Hōgen Rebellion of 1156. He was the son of Minamoto no Tameyoshi, and brother to Yukiie and Yoshitomo.

Tametomo is known in the epic chronicles as a powerful archer and it is said that he once sunk an entire Taira ship with a single arrow by puncturing its hull below the waterline. It is also added in many legends that his left arm was about 4 inches longer than his right, enabling a longer draw of the arrow, and more powerful shots.

Tropes applying to Zexal Club

Abhorrent Admirer: Miyuki towards Shark. While not physically ugly, her twisted and cruel personality that makes Pilot Shark look like a saint is more than enough to make the boy rightfully want to steer clear of her.

Action Mom: Since Kari and Yuma's mother is Bloom, this is obvious. It's a bit downplayed, though, since she's, you know, trapped and missing

Adaptational Angst Upgrade: Downplayed, but the fact that Kite has to work with 3 magi haters, two of which are especially disdainful of witches, when his mother was a witch, definitely isn't doing any good for his emotional state.

Adaptational bada$$: Yuma, obviously, due to being the fairy of the freaking dragon's flame. Also applies to Kari and Kite.

Adaptational Jerka$$: The students of Heartland Academy, specifically 70% of them, due to their vicious bullying of Kikyo

Tragic Bigot: Nistro and Dextra definitely qualify as this, as their disdain towards Magi stems from their families being killed by certain Magi when they were children, and Mr. Heartland exploiting their trauma and feelings of hurt to convince them all Magi were the same - wicked, heartless monsters.

Yandere: Once again, Miyuki for Shark, Let me tell you, it is not played for laughs.

Hello hello world!!

Yura and her trusty Yukii-sama has finally returned!! I’ve been gone since the pandemic started coz I was suddenly afflicted with a horrible artblock. Many other things happened along the way that only made it worse.

The bad news is, I have yet to overcome my biggest hurdle; my sister and I have yet to escape the people who we never knew were abusing us. But the good news is, my artblock has been lifted! I have so many stuff I want to draw and share with the world! Just thinking about it makes me super excited!

As I stated last two weeks in my note, all the bad things; artblock, jobless, manipulated, and gaslighted, has given me enough time and perspective to think about lots of stuff. And with my artblock finally lifted, this is a good chance as any for me to start over.

When I fully return next week, with new art to share, I shall turn over a new leaf and start over!

Fun fact:

When Yukii dies, a sprout on her garden is chosen for her body to grow again. Takes a lot of time for her to reappear tho, form a body takes time.

While she's inside the flower some of her friends come to visit her, staying near the sprout waiting for the day she will come out again.

Is very hard to kill her tho, her body does not obey the rules of reality.

@ruirui-yukii​ started two days ago in the Todomomo descord server a conversation how Tokoyami’s and Tsuyu’s children would look like, and I thought immediately about kappas. All their kids would probally look like kappas lol

Minamoto no Tametomo, a samurai of the late Heian period, known for being an amazing archer. He is the brother of Minamoto no Yoshitomo, and Yukiie and Son of Minamoto no Tameyoshi. It's said that his left arm was four inches longer than his right, meaning that he was able to pull more powerful draws on his bow, and thus shoot more powerful arrows at his enemies. It's said that he sank a Taira Ship with a single arrow, having shot the hull below the waterline. At the end of the Hogen Rebellion, in which he taken part in, he committed the first seppuku in history, and likely set the example of the ideology of seppuku in the history to come.

He's truly, a model samurai, regardless of how accurate his recorded accomplishments are, he is the epitome, of a model samurai.

HC for archer todoroki with @ruirui-yukii and @itsmilamon; had sooooo much fun with this omg ^___^ -Todo and Fuyumi both learned archery since young; Todo being talented at it as well (what a surprise) 

-Momo didn’t know he did archery until one time she went to his house for a study session and his sister lead her to where Todoroki was; he was practicing with his bow and arrows in the yard and so polite Momo observed on the side in silence. She didn’t move a muscle, just intently watching so as to not disturb him

-Every time he released an arrow, Momo was internally praising him; his hair moving along with him in the light breeze  -Todoroki finally noticed her and told her to come; he’ll teach  -Momo agreed and soon it turned into more of a promise; every week she would come and get archery lessons from Todo-sensei -Fuyumi offered Momo her robe and after she changed into it, Todo felt his heart aflutter (she’s so cute in them????) -She learned that Todo actually won several championships already but he’s too humble to flaunt it  -Momo still found herself stunned whenever Todo does his thing; his perfect form. Prim. Proper. Elegant. Drawing the bow without even breaking a sweat.

-These lessons soon turn into dates….

-Momo’s mom asked her “oh, you’re going on another date?” and Momo’s totally caught off guard like “nonoooo it’s only a lesson.” but by the time she got to Todoroki’s house, she’s red in the face and can’t talk and when he comes out to greet her, she’s just ded -Momo started to do worse than normal which is odd because she was improving quite a lot. Todo gets worried and thought she had another illness. He’s ALWAYS thinking she’s sick. It’s how he dotes.

-Midoriya and Iida asks Todo to hang out and he’s like “no, can’t, I have to teach archery.” They’re like “When did you get this part time job?” And Todo’s like “actually I only have one student and I don’t get paid. *checks his watch* I’m going to be late, don’t want to keep her waiting, bye.” 

-The guys freak out like “wait……..HER????”

-The next day, the boys found out Momo’s his student only ‘cas they overheard Jirou and ask Momo why she had so many bandages on her fingers and her hands were calloused. The boys put 1 and 1 together and DAAANNNNGG

-Momo’s a rebel and didn’t wear gloves or leather tabs to protect her fingers and so her hand started to bleed after a long session and Todo freaks out a little and just goes “Let me see *puts her finger to his mouth*”

-Fuyumi saw it all happen when she was bringing them drinks and walked in on her younger bro casually kissing Momo’s hands and she’s like OH MY GOD SHOUTO WHAT

-Momo halfway fainting!!!!! Todo’s like oh crap and sits her down/ He ran to get her an ice pack and offered again that  pressure point foot massage

- Fuyumi’s like hey Shouto, can we talk after? *nervous laughter*. After Momo leaves, Fuyumi’s like “do you know what you did wrong today?” Todo thought for awhile and he’s like “oh yeah I didn’t teach her this part…” and Fuyumi’s like omg my clueless brother… “Don’t scare her off Shouto!!!”

-Fuyumi ships it and she totally snaps candid shots of their lessons

-Fuyumi also tried to help cover up that Shouto’s been having Momo over and one time Endeavor saw Momo walk out the door and he’s just like “IS THAT THE CHILD…OF THE YAOYOROZU’S?????”
