I do spend too much time online and it does sometimes feel like I exist to be served advertisements.
#i know that this is a side effect of just being too online but also isnt it crazy that ALL the big platforms keep shoving more and more ads#down your throat. like this is happening for real#youtube forcing double unskippable ads and taking away creator's freedom to choose where to place ad breaks#duolingo taking away practicing for hearts and making you watch ads instead#instagram doing 'ad breaks' where you arent allowed to scroll anything#at this point i watch YouTube in browser w adblock and hate most apps
