Saadi tweeted in support of the FSA 🤦🏻♀️
Don't you remember what happened to your country? And what about Hannibal? Don't think the FSA will be any help there (and he was in the same room as the Assads as a child)
He's always been basically a law unto himself but either he's blinded by his hatred for Iran, or living under Erdogan has gotten to his head (also often threatening to sue people over tweets), complete with Elon Musk simping (like Erdogan)... and sometimes I do genuinely wonder if he's very mentally unwell* and it's not being treated, when it should be after all those horrific experiences, including prison experiences

#WTF SAADI#Syria's already going the same way as YOUR COUNTRY#you met the Assads as a child!#Uncle Hafez seemed so kindly to you and now his coffin's been burned#your brother has potentially lost an ally#and another one will now potentially waste away in prison forever#your father's last speeches were only aired on REAL SYRIAN TELEVISION!#i'm beginning to wonder if part of the reason why Saadi lives abroad is because Saif wanted him out of the way#his head of reconciliation expressed concern about Syria ending up like Libya and Moussa Ibrahim did too#very different from Saadi#then you have the rumours of Saif visiting Damascus a month before the NYT interview was published#heck it's been revealed that Saddam Haftar and Maher al-Assad met in September 2022 so Saif and Real Syria... who knows?#Saif sent his lawyer to Syria too to discuss Hannibal#but now everything's gone to shit#Yemen#WTF SAADI?!
