#you're not on thin ice - you *always* needed salvation. the angels didn't. you've been GIVEN salvation. the angels shouldn't need it at all

Sin is inevitable for humans BUT we are not condemned to it because Jesus died and was resurrected to redeem us and free us from it forever.
Failure is NOT inevitable for angels because the majority of them are still angels. As said, demons are fallen 'angels.' If some angels are not fallen, to stray was never an inevitability for heavenly beings but a conscious choice in full knowledge of what that entailed.
OP conflating the two is a fallacious argument. Like @redheadedbrunette pointed out, it's like saying the treatment of animals in the Bible is a great indication for how God feels about mankind. At least OP does get right that salvation is not up to the individual in Christianity - shocker, it's up to Christ's sacrifice. I guess that's what they're calling the 'power dynamics'? That Christian rhetoric is that we're entirely dependent on our savior to be saved? Right again, congrats?
hey uhhh but fr the concept of fallen angels existing but risen demons being an impossibility is kind of a great summary of sin in christianity
#The op's claim that sin in Christianity is that you're on thin ice#and the second you stray you have no second chances is so far from anything in the Gospels and the NT it's like a game of madlibs#“Gospels” is literally “the good news”#the good news being that Jesus *is* salvation - sin is defeated for eternity through his grace.#you're not on thin ice - you *always* needed salvation. the angels didn't. you've been GIVEN salvation. the angels shouldn't need it at all#yes demons /fallen angels (same thing) can't do anything to go back. what makes you think they'd want to?#they saw the source of everything that is good. of all love all truth all justice and all wisdom in his full glory#and that wasn't enough for them
