just fyi the new poppy album is fucking WONDERFUL
#i feel like she's really found her style and she's just blooming into it#this album is just a beautiful balance of her true singing vocals with the crunchier foggier pieces with the screamssss#the instrumental complements her voice#neither is overpowering or overshadowing the other#and the bridge in push go especially reminds me of some kittie songs#she just has this great talent to make her music sound classic yet fresh#it's so hard for music to have that kind of older style without falling into the trap of being redundant or uninspired or unoriginal#not poppy! she's got this shit down#she brings so many of her own elements to her music including more tech-y sound effects *both subtly and in-your-face* depending on the par#i'm no expert on the metal genre by any means but wow.
