i think the thing abt how increasingly scary the US is becoming in terms of govt. fascism and oligarchy and the complete powerlessness of the average citizen is well. many russians know i have been living like this for a long time and. well. the thing is. by in large its fine. is it good? no. is there needless suffering? yes. are they haunted every day by a normal life where increasingly through the corners and cracks you see the blood of innocents pouring through? like, of course. has the human spirit of love and joy and compassion been broken? no
