I'm under the impression Americans don't know how to use ibuprofen safely...
#you take 200mg for most mild pains. then you can take another 4h after. and eat food with it preferably + don't drink alcohol#for bigger pain it's 400mg every 6h#but not more than three in a day#and I saw Americans with 600(!?)mg tablets for normal pain?! bruh. no wonder you get stomach ulcers#if your pain isn't manageable with 400mg it means it's a severe pain and you need stronger painkillers like#ketoprofen maybe?
