[UNTITLED #019]
we love you so much @taylorswift
without your music, wed all be adrift
we'll wear all your merch
while we're hard at work
your support would be the best gift
as tortured poets, your music makes us move it
if you saw this we'd actually lose it
it'd really be our dream
to be your frc team
so enjoy some limericks we wrote to prove it
see this year we really want to win
so we thought to ask pop music linchpin
whether for tools, morale, or fort
we'd treasure your support
and if you do, we'll love u more than kamen

Brainrot about Cassandra Part 2.
Be a gentleman with Cassandra and court her. Show support and help her to sleep more.
Tell alcina that she is an humongous bitch with the maternal abilities of a coconut.
Burn alcina secret artsy room. (Blame someone else if possible if not laugh at her face and square up)
You didn't know about all the drama behind the play.
Well, not Cassandra version of it, you hear about some girls abandoning the show and trying to take the spotlight away from the diva but rumors got twisted and you don't cared enough to find the truth, Cassandra reputation don't help her at all, the playgirl, the drama queen, the sister that left Daniela behind.
But now with this new information, the guilt in your chest grow bigger. She was doing her best to make her dreams come true, she was hard working, she is a perfectionist, she was creative, she was passionate, she had her sense of self so tied to fame and glory that even the tiniest insinuation of failure would throw her through a spiral of despair.
You really wanted to burn alcina art room. You still remember the first time you did it after Daniela told you about her relation to the art professor.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!"
You just laughed at her face.
'You burn down your daughter love and respect it seems fitting the same to happen to this precious room of yours"
You squared up.
'You are just a humongous bitch with the maternal abilities of a coconut'
Punch and duck
"Pathetic woman"
Punch, back up, duck.
"what are you without you so beloved art?"
Ouch, it seems like this loop will end soon.
"Because you are no mother"
You spit blood at her face.
"But you already know that, don't you Alcina?"
Another thing was, the absolute horny bastards that never seemed to leave her alone. She buys a lot of flowers as a apology, and she nows about the significance of every one.
Did she even have been courted properly? All you heared was about her flings and the broken hearts that she leaves at her trail.
But if you asked what the so pitiful victims loved about her..
"you really need to open your eyes, She is hot as hell! "
"Ritchy and bitchy, baby"
"Her tongue is not only good for monologuing"
And so on.
You make a decision, you would make this loop the best for Cassandra. You would talk with her any moment of the day, bring her favorite coffee and snacks, help her with the planning and everything else.
After talking with Daniela and Angie, you bring her to your movie nights.
"just don't flirt with Angie, okay? It makes her uncomfortable"
It was fun and you could feel Dani vibrating in her place full of happiness.
One day there was rain so she have to stay the night with you three.
"You can sleep in my room! It will be like sleepover!"
Cassandra looked conflicted.
"it's okay Dani I can sleep in the couch"
"but"
"you kick when you sleep"
"it's not True!"
"Sorry bestie but you do it also you snore like a motor boat"
"Angie!"
They were bickering, you got close to Cassandra.
"sleep in my room, I will take the couch"
"I told you I will be fine".
"Either you go to sleep or I throw you in the bed"
She got very quiet at that. She was blushing?
".. Okay"
Later in the night, you wake up to the sound of movement in the kitchen. It seems Cassandra wanted a midnight snack.
"have the munchies?"
"UHm, don't scare me like that!, and no. I can't sleep so I making coffee"
"you can't sleep"
"Yes"
"So you're making coffee"
"exactly"
You look at her for a moment, then move to turn off the stove.
"hey! What do you th-Eh?!"
You pick her like a sack of potatoes, lucky the door of your room was open you throw her in the bed.
"Sleep you caffeine maniac"
"..."
Maybe she wanted cuddles? Your tired brain helpfully supply you.
"do you want me to sleep with you?"
"ah" she look it disappointed "of course that was you wanted"
You were far to tired to analyze that. You got in the bed put your hand in her waist and hug her like a teddy bear close to your chest.
"oh" there was something in her voice that you couldn't identify before falling asleep.
The screaming woke you up, startled you look at Cassandra, you put her above you palming her back softly trying to wake her gently.
She was distressed when she did it. It took her moment to understand what happened.
"I'm sorry, I- I can't control it"
Her face was full of shame. So this was the reason. You sigh and kissed her head, your arms still around her.
"A little of sleep it's better than nothing"
You close your eyes.
"Try to sleep again, I will be right here with you, little star"
Closing your eyes you don't see the tears on hers. You feel her move on top of you before making herself comfortable. You feel the sleep win again, you barely hear her voice say something but you couldn't understand anymore.
"You make my dreams come true, My Romeo"

woooO!!!! congrats on 100 followers!! I've had this idea of the links reacting to the reader who rode a motorcycle, like street racing, or trick riding! like in a modern time, they find a bike under a tarp or smthn and ask them about it, and they offer to show them, and turns out they did trick riding/ street racing/etc. [with a helmet and leather jacket ofc, safety first!!] [idk really, i just like the idea and its been stewing lol]
Thank you anon!!! 💖💖 I can see why this idea was stuck in your head, the idea of reader having a bike is ✨✨ and I hope I've done it justice! I also focused this with two if you don't mind, If you wanted a different member of the chain feel free to ask!!
"[NAME]! [NAME] I THINK I BROKE SOMETHING!"
"TWI!? JUST STAY WHERE YOU ARE FOR A MOMENT I'M COMING OVER TO YOU."
Twilight calling out like that? Wild I would expect, Wind or Hyrule I would understand, but Twilight? I just hope he's alright, is it even safe if he'd have to go to the hospital? Would he need a vet instead?
Because I do not want to find out the answer to that if I can help it. It's a very quick decision to drop what I'm doing to go and check on him, from... it sounded like the garage?
"Twi? Are you alright, what's - oh you haven't broken anything, that's good you're okay."
No injuries, good, fine I can work with that and he looks like a kicked puppy for some reason. Why does he look like I'm about to shout at him..? Is that my helmet?
"I'm so sorry darlin' this thing got caught on me and I a part of it fell to the floor and I…"
"It's fine, you haven't broken anything. They're separate things I keep stacked together, there's no issue. If anything with how you were shouting I thought you were injured Link, you had me really worried."
A flustered Twilight isn't something I've gotten to see often, but it's a very addictive sight seeing someone as tough as him crumble like this over something so small. My bike's fine, the tarp's only torn a tiny bit and my helmet, well there's nothing that could scratch that any more than it's already been scratched. I wonder if I could push his fluster any further, maybe if I…
“Hey Twi, you know I promised to take you to a coffee shop at some point? So I can prove to you it’s not broken, want to ride with me?”
That did it, he’s redder than I’ve ever seen him ever and I think I can still push him further. Taking my jacket off of the hook, tossing it on then handing Twi my spare set with a wink.
“Come on pretty boy, let me treat you?”
Oh? That is cute, it seems the wolf’s lost his ability to speak as he follows my lead by putting on the gear I’ve lent to him. I’m just glad I keep some spares at all times, for when things like this come up it can be a lifesaver. Walking the bike outside with him trailing behind me with lovestruck eyes before I gesture to him to come closer. Gently guiding him to sit behind me on the bike then coaxing his arms around my waist with very little complaint from him only to start up the motor.
It’s been a while since I’ve felt the freedom of riding like this, I think Twilight is enjoying it as well which is the main thing. Pushing my bike more from his unspoken joy, it’s like I’m back to racing again and with that thrill-seeking side winning out I push us further still hitting about a hundred now, likely faster than he’s ever moved before.
And then we’ve already arrived. Clearly he doesn’t seem ready to let go of me, the way his arms have tightened again is a good enough show of that.
“You can hold me more later Twi, don’t you want to go in then I can explain more?”
“Alright, darlin’.”
It took a moment for him to find something on the menu that he liked the sound of and was safe for him, while I just ordered my usual but after that, we’re free to just talk for a while, although even after all of that his blush still hasn’t died down the smallest amount.
“So I’m guessing you’re curious about my bike? I used to spend a lot of my spare time racing so it’s a very high-quality one.”
“It’s that important to you but you’re willin to let me ride it?”
“I mean, of course. There’s no fun in riding alone, and I trust you.”
I think that last sentence might have broken him, he’s a blushing mess mumbling about how good I look and how impressed he is. He’s sweet. Although now it might take a while for me to be able to talk to him again.

Hot take, Elden ring is a really good souls like, but that doesn't mean its actually a good game.
within the subgenre, souls-likes have always had really huge issues with accessibility, and i don't mean for disability alone. Elden ring especially had extremely horrible performance issues at launch, which they did eventually fix. Even then you still have to get a 400 dollar PC. Aside from that there are some strange decisions made with teaching the player, like the tutorial is just a hole that players had to point out to each other, and On my barely stable first 20 minutes, i couldn't even find (my b i guess). Obviously alot of extremely experienced gamers would be able to handle themselves super well in Elden ring even without a tutorial. But there's another issue there with accessibility.
2 last things on accessibility. The game's audio is mixed like a movie, (so barely audible or ripping out your eardrums ;-;) witch is another accessibility issue, that you have to put a lot of work in to fix. And the graphics range from maxing out the brightness, to being completely black on bad screens. obviously an issue. I'm not going to go into the issues with explanations and the general tell don't show nature of alot of souls likes, because people have already complained about the text tunnels enough
I do really appreciate the artistry and just beautiful atmosphere Elden ring has, my only issue with the graphics is the performance requirements for them. Also if you never turned the graphics all the way down, it used to cause bit lag spikes just because it wanted to i guess :")
So, my argument is that a game can be a good version of the predecessors it bases itself off of, but if it doesn't actually deliver on playability and accessibility, I really don't think its deserving of the praise it gets. here are examples of games I think are flawless Unraveled/Unraveled 2 Hades Minecraft (Java edition only [cuz bedrock is completely broken somehow???) Never alone (a cool 2 player co op platformer that me and my brother played through when we were 6 and 8 or smthn, it was incredible, and i still think its worth playing as an adult) Spelunky 2 ***Monster Hunter (except for the extremely slow RPG elements) [takes 3 months to get 1 armor set built fully :)]
So i actually have some great news for the difficulty purists, You can actually do a hardcore game well, So long as you make failure quick and readable, Make trying immediate, and Make learning a part of the design. Spelunky is not my cup of tea, i have a bad time with reaction time, but spelunky is really great, in that your goal every attempt is simply to get as far as possible. In elden ring, you have the opposite problem, where instead of completing the objective being extraordinarily hard, getting from point a to point b is tediouse, saving the game takes time, occasionally you can be attacked without knowing why, and you dont get a clear read on what went wrong, ETC. If Elden ring was only the boss fights, I would say its almost a great game. Which is why I included Monster hunter on that list, despite its insufferable grind. Also BTW spelunky 2 has four fun minigames. a requirement for any game to be truly perfect is for there to be appeal for casual gamers, and i don't think adding casual elements makes a game worse, like, ever.
Anyways, last little thing, I really dislike it when People praise games for not catering to the needs of some players. Like everyone has heard dudebros or their friends be like "It doesn't have any difficulty settings! that's so sick!" But, like, Have you ever met someone with a motor function disability, or like, just someone who doesn't play games for 30000 hours every year? Difficulty settings and the ability to control your experience are important. and this isn't about Elden ring, But if you care about being an ally you should want your games to have accessibility features, they only benefit people. and if you're so worked up about about an extra tab being in the settings window, maybe you should like, go to therapy or something.
Also Elden ring's UI is so ass it gave my design teacher a heart attack and they hired a Pe*o as our sub.

Honeywell Thermostat Says Heat On But No Heat Common Causes of No Heat Even Though the Thermostat Says Heat On There are a few common causes of no heat, even though the thermostat says the heat is on. One of the most common is that the furnace isn't running. This could be due to a broken furnace, a dirty filter, or something else. Another common cause of no heat is that the thermostat is malfunctioning. This could be due to a problem with the wiring or a bad thermostat. Finally, there may be something wrong with the heating ducts. This could be a blockage, a hole, or something else. How to Troubleshoot the Heating System If your thermostat is telling you that the heat is on, but there's no heat coming through, there are a few things you can do to troubleshoot the problem. First, check to make sure the furnace is on. If it's not, turn it on and see if the heat comes on after that. If it does, the problem is either with the thermostat or one of the settings. If it's not the furnace, try changing the thermostat settings to see if that resolves the issue. If it doesn't, then you may need to replace the thermostat. What to Check for When the Thermostat won't Work It can be tough to know the issue when your thermostat isn't working. Here are a few things to check: First, make sure the thermostat is turned on. How to Fix a Heat Pump That Won't Turn On If you have a heat pump, the first thing to do is ensure the outdoor unit is running. If not, check your outdoor disconnect switch to ensure it's in the on position. If that doesn't fix it, you might have an issue with your compressor or motor. In this case, you'll need to contact a professional for help. If the outdoor unit is running, but your thermostat is still not providing heat, you may need to reset the circulation fans inside your system. To reset your fan switch, turn it off and back on the power to your furnace. This should restart the fan motor and fix the issue. Another potential issue could be a clogged air filter or blocked air ducts. Check all your air filters and ensure they're clean and unobstructed; replace them immediately if anything looks messy or blocked.  Also, check to ensure that any other parts of your HVAC system are free from debris or obstructions. These small steps can help get your system back up and running and keep it running as efficiently as possible! Starting a new hobby (?)
Tumblr media
(look at this cat i found at the local park~)
June blog post (2022) 🌤
It's the end of the school year and I want to start a new hobby, maybe something related to music. 🎵
I feel like I've always wanted to do something related to music ever since I first listened to that one song that came to me in a youtube recommendation. I think that song was obenkyou shitoiteyo (a jpop song mixed in with rock elements)
youtube
I remember that I first listened to it during the earlier half of the first semester in 2021–it was a monday afternoon after late night classes. It was really uplifting for me at that time for some reason and when I relistened to it I kept feeling that way. So whenever I felt down I just repeated it and it somewhat calmed me down. (and I'm glad I found it too)
Apparently this is backed by research too:
'scientific research has shown that it can influence physiological processes that enhance physical and mental wellbeing.' 'benefits of music, including improved heart rate, motor skills, brain stimulation, and immune system enhancement.' https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8566759/
And I don't disagree, music helps a lot more than I thought it would.
As a person who hasn't ever taken an interest in music before this their entire life, the whole music culture and the idea of 'vibing' to something is starting to makes a bit more sense.
Surprisingly enough, thinking back, I've been surrounded by music more than I previously thought–playing the radio from the car and singing along to songs like broken (lovelytheband) and havana (Camila Cabello) and the like.
take a look at your spotify wrapped or the radio stations you listened to and you may be welcomed by a wave of nostalgia as you reminisce how you were back then.
I felt very inspired to do something about this after listening to their songs for such a long time. So I thought I might as well do something about it–express it.
A few weeks ago I tried to learn piano. Downloading booklets with practice sets and practicing an hour every day after school. But as a week passed I started practicing less and less until I it came to a point where I had basically given up. I think one of the key reasons I failed was that I didn't have a tutor–and also the fact that the piano was in the coldest room in the house 🧊.
Here's two other options–and I'm getting a tutor this time however expensive it is 💸:
Tumblr media
It's pretty blurred because I kept it on the back of my phone for such a long time without looking at it. Still, I wrote this initially when the idea of learning an instrument came to me (it says 'drums' on the back) and I'd probably have forgot if I didn't do so
Write down your aspirations! Who knows when you might have the time to act on them––and writing it down turns your thoughts into actions, however little of a step that may be, at least you're going in the right direction ➡️.
So piano didn't work out, and drums seem complicated–well, all the foot-hand-leg-arm coordination jazz feels like a bit too much for what I can handle right now, especially with having to invest in an entire drum set or something of the like to be able to practice at home.
hmmm, by process of elimination bass seems like a viable option:
smaller than piano & drums (transportable and affordable)
the low bass tone (the low–deep feel of the bass is something I haven't explored very much and seems cool)
rhythmic and funky feel (e.g. Disco Yes, Billie Jean, and Feel Good Inc)
there are local tutors (very important if you don't want to give up and provides good motivation to practice)
lower barrier of entry compared to something like the guitar (lower initial investment to sound good, i.e. less complicated)
and stuff like this -> (2:35-2:50)
youtube
Also techniques like this (3:07) which vamp the song before the chorus–I like the idea of being the kind of unapparent but essential part of a song that comes up sometimes to do their job and returns back to jam with the rest of the instruments.
'The bass performs two basic and vital functions within a band or group:
Bass provides the rhythmic foundation. Bass provides the harmonic foundation.' https://www.studybass.com/lessons/basics/the-role-of-the-bass/
I'm not too sure yet, but I really want to do something about it. Just take a look at techniques like slap bass–wow.
Tumblr media
Maybe i can be like that some day.

7 Helpful Tips for Overhead Door Repair
One of the most important parts of your home is the overhead door. It allows you to enter and exit your home safely, but sometimes things can go wrong with them. Luckily, there are a few easy ways to figure out what is going on with your garage door and how to fix it.
Tumblr media
Use the correct equipment.
The first step in any repair is to use the right equipment. When you're working with tools, there are a few things you have to remember:
Use the correct size of socket wrench for each nut and bolt. If you use an undersized tool, it can damage the nut or bolt threads and make them difficult or impossible to remove. If you use too large a tool, it may slip off easily but then be difficult to get back on again (and then you'll have damaged threads).
Use the correct screwdriver for each screw head size and type—not all screws are Phillips heads!
Check for obstructions.
First, check for obstructions in the track. If you have an older door, it's possible that the tracks are worn down by age and use. Before buying a new opener, try repairing this yourself first by cleaning out the tracks with some water (don't use chemicals).
Next, check for obstructions in your opener. Sometimes dirt or leaves can get stuck inside of them and prevent proper operation of your door. Make sure there is no debris lodged within before purchasing a replacement opener because this will only cost you more money in the end!
Lastly, check for obstructions on or near your door itself with a flashlight or light source like an LED headlamp if necessary! If none of these things work then it might be time to call up a professional who knows what they're doing so they can take care of all these problems quickly while still saving money compared to going through each step separately when trying everything else first on their own time without necessarily knowing whether or not something worked beforehand!
Regularly maintain your door.
Regularly maintaining your door is the best way to keep it in good working order for as long as possible. Here are a few things to check on a regular basis:
Check for loose fasteners. If your door isn't securely fastened, it will have problems staying in place. To test this theory, lightly tap on the door frame around each hinge with a hammer, or strike the side of it with your hand—if you hear rattling noises or feel movement, inspect these areas closely and tighten any loose screws or bolts that you find.
Check for worn parts. Look out for worn-out springs (especially if they're old), broken cables (especially if they're old), rusting components such as rollers or tracks—or anything else that looks damaged or broken beyond its years! You can prevent these kinds of problems from occurring by replacing any part before it becomes unusable; this way you won't have to worry about costly repairs down the road.
Protect your fingers and body from injury.
There are a few steps you can take to prevent injury during overhead door repair. First, wear gloves and eye protection. If you don't have gloves, at least cover your hands with the clothing on your arms so that the sharp edges of an open door don't cut into your skin. You'll need good lighting to see what's going on inside the motor housing and underneath it; if there is no light source available, use a flashlight or headlamp (but be careful not to shine directly into any electrical components). Finally, since moving parts like cables may become entangled in other pieces of equipment as they move around during operation--or even stop altogether--make sure that nothing is pinched before turning things back on again!
Follow the manufacturer's instructions for maintenance and repair.
If you have a garage door, it's important to follow the manufacturer's instructions for maintenance and repair. Your door should come with a guidebook or manual that will tell you everything you need to know about the proper way to maintain your garage door. If not, it is easy enough to find one online and print it out!
If you don't have access to these materials and do not know what kind of lubricant or cleaning product will work best for your specific model, there are many different options available online that may help guide you through this process. One thing is certain: if you do not follow the manufacturer's instructions when operating your overhead door, then chances are pretty good that something could go wrong with its operation or parts could fail entirely without warning!

I knew I cracked something good this chapter when Marshall repeated a line out loud, took his glasses off, and wiped a hand down his face. I asked if everything was alright, and he said:
"Yeah, that was just actually... really hot."
So one of the things that has been important to me in this work has been maintaining Tsino's disabilities throughout. He has been in an explosion, he has been physically changed by his failures as an Imperial, but also? While he isn't able to do everything a normal hand would, he isn't able to hear as well as he should for his species, and that would be frustrating to him, it also confers some advantages to his situation here.
He had his mechanical arm in the jaws of a dactillion. If that were a flesh arm, he might have bled out, gotten an infection, had a nasty, badly-healed break, or needed an amputation anyways. His cybernetic arm, while not fully functional, is still more helpful than an infected limb.
I liked the idea that prosthetics in the Star Wars universe might be more advanced than ours, and someone might have taken the time to think- a false hand, perhaps psychologically it's important that this part of the body simulates a warm environment because touch is an important part of communication for so many species. So I describe the hand as having a synthetic warmth. After all, motors and electronics naturally produce heat, it's just about conducting them to the right places.
And the idea that even though his arm is broken, it's still very much a part of him and a reminder of his past, and he's still trying to use it, even involuntarily. The sounds of the motors clicking as he tries to bend them in ways they can't bend anymore because he's so out of control- that's... kind of hot.
When he deafens Dralla at the end with his scream, he pretty quickly picks up on her inability to hear him, and offers an alternative to get his message across. He has also been in a similar situation, and knows what to do.
A major theme of this chapter is recognization of the self in the other. Tsino recognizes the growing darkness in Dralla, Dralla recognizes the Human and Pau'an nature in both of them. They're sharing love for their families and for the planet, and hate for the Empire. I think in particular, Dralla spends so much time denying her human nature, she needs the reminder. She describes the TIE viewport as a mirror eye, and Tsino's eyes as mirrors as well.
You're right to pick up on Tsino being... A little fucked up. He's moving in a better direction, he definitely isn't completely lost to darkness, but this part in particular is very alarming:

Uh, my guy? You should be holding yourself accountable. Not relying on someone untrained, who is very rapidly following in your footsteps while you're trying to drag yourself out. He says he cannot allow it, that it will reflect poorly on him, etc., but he isn't doing much to help her out of it either. He can definitely recognize it is happening and warn her against it, but her attachment makes him feel good. Why would he stop her from that?
Honestly, it seems he knows how he got himself into this mess, but getting himself out of it? Even he admits he isn't really sure how to stop the tide. He's very good at getting people to fall for the dark side. Not so good at coming back. I think at the heart of it, he feels if Dralla falls, it means it will be impossible for him to return to the light.
Dralla is... I don't think his message really lands on her the way he's hoping it will. He's starting to feel enlightenment, but that doesn't mean she will. She feels as if she is on the cusp of losing everything, I think- like you said- she's really starting to give up on her dreams. Sacrifice herself and her wants for the greater good. And she even admits:

Uh oh. Maybe that Inquisitor side of Tsino that first had an interest in her was right about her all along. Maybe that bitterness he felt, about one child being taken from Utapau while another was deposited in his place, was just a temporary exchange. Maybe he's a little too good at his job. We'll just have to see.

Summary:
It has been seventeen years since your rebirth on the plains of Utapau. An orphaned child with nowhere else to go, you were adopted by your clan leader Drago and his mate Bolen, who made you their own daughter through the unique tattooing rituals of the surface-dwelling Pau'an.
Now you lead a group of your kin to trade with a neighboring clan, when you come across a lone stranger riding across the grasslands. Nothing about him makes sense, least of all the marks he bears on his forehead in conflict with the symbols he carries on his shoulders.
You must guide him on his mission, while you ponder the secrets of his past that might just align with yours, and balance the survival of your small clan amongst two powerful opposing forces.
