I just found out that my best friend doesn't think trans people should be allowed to compete in sports in their respective disciplinnes with cis people and I-

I've been on case of changing her mind for past half an hour it's not going well omg I hate this

#she just keeps bringing how it's disadvantageous to cis women and i'm here losing my mind #because nothing i say seems to be convincing her wtf she is the last person i expected to be like this #it feels surreal #tbh not the first time one of my friends who are fierce allies of queer community randomly says some bullshit and can't change their mind #you just have to shake your head and say some of 'balkanski seljo' mentality still remains #but i didn't expect it from her of all people #anyways i need to move the fuck away #because all my friends think i'm too radical in supporting sfuff like poly relationships/ same sex couples having kids/ and this apparently #and i make a point of not being friends with obviously queerphobic assholes that's why i do have so little friends #and even they have these shitty attitudes sometimes
