i. how did i just freeze up like that
#i had a dream about this single-player horror game. you play as a little robot#it was cute and quippy at times but there was one route that was almost 100% serious. it features a near-pitch black series of corridors.#and a bear. at first it was normal and the chases were not nearly as scary. you still had to outsmart/outrun it#then came the second half. as soon as you evade it for the fourth time#you end up on a slope. and then you hear a loud otherwordly noise and a crash. if you weren't fast enough.. i imagined it.#it goes after you. at a much higher speed. borderline impossible to run from.#when it gets you a spidery mass bursts out of its face near-instantaneously and briefly.. you could see it clearly.#it was hideous. bloody. unexplainable.#the last thing you ever saw was it lunging towards your face as the nonexistent flashes of lights provide a better view of its mutation#my heart rate hasn't spiked this hard before.#my summarization does not provide it justice#- wedposting ]
