I dunno. I think once everyone realizes that the urge to commit violence and hoard things is a stress response we'd make a lot of progress in, like, everything
#messages from knave#we are literally just animals#yes this is in reference to some really dumb replies on the firebombing walmart post#you do not need to firebomb a walmart to feel better. you need to hold a little kid's hand and teach them how to read#there's a guy who we do a lot of work for and he volunteers at one of those places that passes out meals on weekdays#like he drives around delivering food to people on his list just because he has the time and wants to#and he's always in a fantastic fucking mood when I get to talk to him#I think people just want to do something but tbh it's very rare that the right answer to that urge is 'ransack a target'#as an aside shoplifting is fun and cool but never do it at target. They're the only security allowed to chase you into the parking lot#and they do NOT have a monetary loss minimum like most other stores. they'll arrest you over a dollar#and employees get cash prizes for snitching so they are not your friends. they also have a closet specifically to arrest shoplifters in
