So basically, the mission mini-game is like Candy Crush and all those types of games. You match three gems of the same color, minimum. You have 30 moves to gain stars in order to increase the second bar.

All good. Just keep in mind that one round of exploration brings 500 snow and that is needed for one round of the game. EDIT: I got 500 snow two times in a row and forgot to play the game the first time and the counter just went up. I initially wrote that the snow won't drop if you already have 500 in stock because on one server it wouldn't drop at all. I think that now it's just that the drop rate can be low.

Also, the game can be buggy. It froze on me multiple times when I had 5 moves left.

The mini-game doesn't seem to have a timer, only a limited number of moves.
