what inspires you to make art?

hmm tough question... almost anything?

i like looking at things, like when i'm walking through the city i love looking at little alleys and pretty buildings. same goes for plants and animals and people. it's a bit like mentally collecting raw material to reference later.

same goes for looking at other people's art. (can only recommend, look at other people's art, you will learn so much just subconsciously)

this also counts for other types of art, like theater, writing and music. sometimes they describe scenes or visuals so well that i want to draw them. it's almost impossible for me to go to a concert or performance without a notebook nowadays because i will inevitably get ideas and i have to write them down.

if i may be a bit pretentious i just remembered a quote by the french performance artist Ben: "je n'ai rien a vous montrer. il y a tout a voir." which roughly means "i have nothing to show you. there's everything to be seen"

there's everything to be seen and making art is my way of interacting with and appreciating it. also that's a bit the reason why i like to draw things that don't exist? (eg creatures) cos you can't see them, only i can make them become a visible manifestation :3

Emu is the sweetest toddler ever! Smiliest and chattiest baby- usually regresses around 3-6!

She regresses for comfort!!! ₍ᐢ. ̫.ᐢ₎

Nene's her bestest friend ever! They regress together, but Nene tends to be a teeny bit order, to around 6-7 (*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ*.ﾟ

Nene always spoon feeds her! If Emu makes a mess, Nene is always the one to wipe her mouth and pat her head ꒰ᐢ. .ᐢ꒱₊˚⊹

If Emu regresses to a smaller age, Nene will seat and cuddle Emu on her lap, and play the nintendo!! Emu is just happy to see colors and mario everywhere hehe!

When emu is little, she only!!! wants to wear nene's shirts/jackets, it makes her feel smaller and safer! ʚ(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )ɞ

Emu loves sweets 10x more than she does when big... which is too much. Nene has to give her the cookies in moderation but if Emu sneaks some, Nene has to gently tell her off ໒꒰ྀིっ˕ -｡꒱ྀི১

🐻 - What’s your personality like when regressed?

This actually changes a lot for me- Generally I’m just sorta happy and giggly? But during vent regression I can get very stubborn. I still have my big kid temptations and knowledge of how to do things, and I’m convinced that’s the solution even if it’s really really not

🍯 - Do you pet regress as well? What animal?

I actually don’t pet regress! I fully support it! However personally I don’t see the appeal/doesn’t seem helpful for me. Like I said though I’m fully supportive and always excited to learn more!

🍄 - Anime or cartoons?

Such a hard questionn. Probably cartoons? Cartoons are more from my childhood, I didn’t start watching anime until I was like 12/13. But I still love watching certain anime while I’m regressed! (Hunter X Hunter and The Disastrous Life of Saiki K were easy to watch without my parents questioning)

🍭 - Do you keep an agere journal?

I actually don’t! I wanted to/still want to but I always forget to keep up with it. And if I forget I feel bad and it’s a cycle that leads to meltdowns. So I’ve just dropped the idea altogether-

⚡️ - Do you have rules?

I don’t! One of my caregiver tried setting up the rule of “If you want to put something in your mouth ask me first” However I just. Forget? Or I’d tell them after I’ve been chewing on it for awhile- I remember them being very concerned when I told them my cat didn’t taste good, my cat. Did not care- But yeah I feel like rules are a sensitive topic to most people? Idk- Rules sound nice but I have no experience with them so y’know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
