I'm fairly certain people don't realize just how much they still assign genders to certain colors subconsciously
#yes this is about the amount of times I've gotten misgendered going up since i started dying my hair pink#in fact this is more specifically about the time one lady was definitely going to say that she thought i was a girl because my hair was pink#but last minute changed her sentence to say ''pretty'' instead of pink#i could tell cause she stumbled over her words after she the letter p#yeah. think about how fucking dumb you are to have assumed what my gender was based on my fucking hair color#I'm sure it's also my hair cut but yknow.#when i had a different cut this was still the case
