this reminded me that in the past tommy referred to dream as darth vader but said that dream ends up being the good guy in the end just like darth vader. And I guess to answer your question people don't find the "hes a proper movie villain" as serious as it is because I've seen a lot of people assume he was talking about disney characters that are overly evil and chaotic, or he was refering to the actions dream did like saying a slur as the equivalent of what a movie villain would do but I agree its messed up to say regardless.

Or how bout, maybe the Queen of Hearts who executed a bunch of people. Or how bout the Queen who tried to kill Snow White twice or Hans from Frozen who tried to killed Ana and Elsa. Or how bout the villain from Mulan who mercilessly destroyed villages and rampaged the country. Or the villain from the The Hunchback of Notre Dam who tried to burn the girl at the steak and kill Quasimodo multiple times. Or how bout freaking Hades, yeah he’s a Disney villain, how bout the god of the underworld?
