ever wonder how badly skewed the statistics of trans men being murdered are by our families and/or the media portraying us as lesbians or cishet tomboys? how the same almost definitely goes for corrective rape, forced pregnancy, physical assault, domestic abuse, intentional medical malpractice, forced homeless, and pretty much every other hate crime?

ever think about how trans men are told that we're 'less oppressed' or 'benefit from male privilege' when really what actually happens is that the vast majority of violence towards us is taken out of context and painted as 'just' lesbophobia or misogyny rather than specific bigotry towards trans men by virtue of us being trans men?

because i sure do fuckin think about it all the time
