reading this bored panda about “why people stopped being friends” and one of them was about a guy who didn’t rsvp, didn’t call, didn’t show to the op’s wedding, and it got me thinking about the person who i accidentally didn’t end up rsvping or anything to their wedding, but it’s because i wasn’t checking my email during covid and got changed from “cancelled” to “online through a web service you don’t use” at like a month’s notice and i haven’t talked to him in probably.... fifteen years? i mean, i’d still consider him a friend if he hadn’t told me the only way to contact him was facebook, when he knew i didn’t use it and refused to give me his phone number.

i still miss him tho. it just hurts that i wasn’t allowed to stay friends
