Here's the full page of the sketches I did! IbisPaintX really hates me rn. What did I ever do to you? Please stop freezing on me.

Lots of concept art going on here! Before I talk about, here's the text version of the notes in the sketch:
Girl, what-
gonna wreck your shit
early model era snowplough
cgi era snowplough
(Both based on RWS + irl snowploughs)
^type of snowplough depends on engine's size AND length between smokebox and buffer beam
*redraw from "No Snow for Thomas" (off the top of my head)
Tidmouth Sheds (North)
Largest yard (next to Vicarstown)
Carriage
Sheds
So I was watching 3D animations of T&F/RWS and OOOOOO there's is this Japanese animator whose animations are MMM, chef's kiss! One of their videos is of the Scottish twins! In that video, they're wearing snowploughs that cover their noses. After some research on the snowploughs, turns out that the RWS does this! So here are my headcanons for the engines' snowploughs:
The type of snowplough an engine has is dependent on: the distance between the smokebox and buffer beam & the size of the engine.
Medium-sized tender engines who have the distance between their buffer beams and smokeboxes very close wear the snowploughs I have drawn. Almost every single tank engine and 0-6-0 tender engine wears this snowplough. The reason being is to prevent from snow getting into their mouths and snow buildup behind the snowplough. It is not a pleasant experience. Donald and Douglas would have these snowploughs. James and Emily wouldn't since the distance between their smokeboxes and buffer beam is much longer, it is much more difficult for snow to become a bother and build up behind the snowplough.
Here's the video in question!

Anyways, moving onto Tidmouth Yards. This is more of idea sketch. The Tidmouth Sheds seen here is the one from the later books of the RWS. The carriage sheds are based on the sheds seen in the TVS, which are supposed to be the works sheds, apparently? This is where the coaches go. Annie and Clarabel were housed here but were relocated to Ffarquhar.
I'm still trying to figure everything out but the idea is that Tidmouth Yards is MASSIVE. It was originally quite small, yet the largest shunting yard (along with Vicarstown). To get to Tidmouth Station, you have to pass through Tidmouth Yards. I know the sketch looks disproportionate but again, it was just to get the idea out. I will say that the final one should be drastically different. Yes, there is a turntable inside. This version houses 10 engines.
