omfg

not too long ago i remember making a crack about how if EA tried the paid mod bs that bethesda did, but with the sims 4, not only would they not face major backlash, the vast majority of fans would love it. The same fans that don’t realize kits are a shtty thing and defend every single choice the sims team make, and really strongly believe that paid cc that already exists is totally fine.

#iknow its not exactly the same that the mods will apparently remain free - but as someone who uses curse forged because it's basicaly a #requirement for modded minecraft #it sucks and is advertisement driven #plus if the creators are gettng paid by curse forged in the name of maxis - its an official team up - there's somemoney getting made somewhe #makes sense why they did the big 180 on their single good decsion a few months back when they said no paywalls at all #and then quckly went 'except for this very vague phrasing that allows people ot be worse than they were before and mmaintain paywalls'#sims 4 fans are the fucking worst omg #yall would've shriveled up and died with old sims games #apparently theres modern equivalents of maty and i forget the funny name but the paysites must died page #but they never seem to last because idiots harass them for sharing content that Should Be Free
