y'know, I was worried that not finishing this fic before s3 started would just obliterate my motivation to keep writing this monster that I've been plotting out and working on for 18 months.

but no. I'm actually glad I didn't get it all written by february, because now it's what's keeping me going 🥲

and I used to struggle so much with it and with self doubt, so worried that it would just suck and somehow be so ooc that it'd be unreadable

but no. it's imperfect and it's not everyone's cup of tea, but at least it's being written with care and respect. it's a love letter to something that's meant a lot to me the last few years. and that's more than I can say for this season's treatment of Din.
