Josh and Revyn Sadri
Josh and his best friend's cousin. Josh and the cousin of his best friend who has eyes for the same chick he has eyes for. Josh's best friend's cousin, a guy who places the woman of his drug addled dreams on a pedestal just as much as Josh does but with the added benefit of having a long history with her. Josh's best friend's cousin, a guy who was practically married to the woman he's madly in love with and who is a person she sees as safe.
Josh's best friend's cousin, a mer who looks upon Josh with just as much jealousy and disdain as Josh feels for him.
When Sydari's in the picture, the two are at complete odds with one another. Before that, Revyn had only heard about Josh from his family members complaining about the "deadshit" Geldis attached himself to. He knows who Josh is but the two never really met. Josh tends to avoid the Gray Quarter if he can help it (and if he is there, he's going to be hanging around his son's place- or outside of it if Adren's still not talking to him.)
Now, Josh is no stranger to sleeping with his best friend's cousin. There was a time when the Sadri's were absolutely everywhere in Hlaalu territory. It was a prolific clan and Geldis has a lot of cousins, even after Red Mountain. The Sero clan, on the other hand, was almost dead by the time the two met and Geldis had his eyes clearly set on Maera, which made Josh incredibly angry.
So Josh slept with his friend's cousin.
It was a bit more complicated than that and wasn't initally done out of spite. He had fled Vivec city to Holamayan Monastery with Mehra Milo. He was confused and Beraren was there. He hadn't really thought about it when the two hopped into bed together and he certainly hadn't thought about it when the guy tried to convince him to join the Dissident Priests and be their champion.
He did think about it when he saw his best friend and his mother enjoying a romantic evening one night upon returning to Suran.
Josh did come to terms with Geldis and his mother being a thing, but he makes it a point to avoid bedding anyone with the last name Sadri as a general rule. Thankfully for Josh neither of the Sadri siblings are attracted to Josh and Josh isn't attracted to them.
It's best Josh and Revyn avoid each other, even when the Last Dragonborn isn't in the picture.
