Unpopular opinion but Rebecca isn't half as bad as y'all make her to be, she was rather bearable in my playthrough where she gave up her life twice for her daughter. She's not the most loving or kind but she had perfectly valid reasons to be the way she is. Imperfect mothers exist. Not all women have to be emotional, loving and caring. They can be cutthroat and ambitious too.

Nobody has to agree and I understand where those who dislike her are coming from but personally I'm a Rebecca apologist till the day I die.
