Lore Speculation!

       I was working on Haru’s religious views, and going over the tiny snippet we have on Azim and Nhaama and I noticed there are a couple similarities between the Auri Duality and the Eorzean Pantheon!

       The dawn father and dusk mother in the creation myth are said to have created the au ra to fight for their respective patrons right to rule the earth. When the Raena nd the Xaela made peace with each other, however, Azim and Nhaama left the earth to be ruled over by their creations. This is very similar to the eorzean pantheon leaving Eorzea to the mortal races after they impressed them.

       There is also the more obvious similarities between Azim and Azeyma, the sun goddess of the 12; and the less obvious similarities between Nhaarma and Menphina, the keeper of the moon and love goddess of the twelve AND solidly tied to Azeyma through being her sister. Could they possibly be the same deities, just interpreted by different cultural lenses? If so, does the rest of the 12 have solid involvement in Othard and elsewhere?
