Yay, the schedule is out! 🥳

I'm so looking forward to the finale of TDR (but at the same time I'm a bit sad that the story is ending) and I'm curious to see the finale of TO2. I'm also happy we're getting new episodes of WTC, ABH, POV and Soulless. And I'm beyond grateful that we're not only getting a new episode of SCN but also two new episodes of KFS. That's more than I dared to hope and I'm so hyped for that!

I can live without a CY2 update once, so I'm hoping the author is resting and taking care of whatever is going on in her life. I'm a bit surprised and disappointed that we're not getting the final episode of LSE since they already skipped the last update. But I hope we'll get the finale next time. And I'm not even surprised that DLS is pausing as well, that was very much to be expected. 🙄 I doubt this story will be finished this year if Veronica continues to drag it out like that.

Overall I'm happy with this schedule, eight out of my eleven favourite stories are getting new episodes, most of them even two or three. Looking forward to June!!

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced on February 8, 2023 the date for the finals to be held at The Oval this year. India, Australia and South Africa are the main contenders and the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Test series between the Men in Blue and Australia will decide who flies to London for the all-important contest. India will take on Australia in the four-Test series starting on February 9, 2023 in Nagpur.

The WTC (World Test Championship 2023) finals will take place at The Oval, London from June 7 to 11, 2023 after Indian Premier League complete. In view of what last happened in the WTC final in 2021, ICC has also set June 12, 2023 as a reserved day. New Zealand are the defending champions, but they might not even have a chance to defend their title in the final. New Zealand beat India by margin of wickets in 2021 which is played in Southampton.

Australia lead the point table so far in the current cycle with a healthy percentage of 75.56, followed by India at 58.93. That is why the upcoming Border-Gavaskar series is so important for both the teams. The run of results will determine who advances to the finals, which will begin on June 7, 2023. Ahead of the series, Australia captain Pat Cummins revealed how motivated he and his team are to take part in the big event.

South Africa with 48.72 percent and Sri Lanka 53.33 percent, who are in third and fourth place, have a very slim chance of winning. The last two matches of South Africa's schedule are two-match home series against the West Indies, while the Lankans have two away Test matches against New Zealand.

So assuming this isn’t some big mistake by TinyPop, this is fantastic news!  It looks like these long awaited specials are finally one the way! I see two potential bits of bad news, though. The first is...we still haven’t heard anything official about how they’ll be released outside of TinyPop.  We would hope HBO Max (or somewhere else) would show them around the same time at TinyPop.  But I remember back in 2019, TinyPop would air a lot of the new episodes before they were put on Boomerang.  Sometimes it was even months in advance.   So it’s possible that those without access to TinyPop could have to wait longer. The second is...that Grumpy voice in this promo is horrible, IMO.  I love the current UtM Grumpy voice.  That one sounds a lot more like the WtC Grumpy, which is my least favorite one. It’s hard to say what will happen with not only Grumpy’s voice, but with any of them.  It’s been four years since the original UtM eps were aired, so who knows if they were able to bring in the same VAs (or even if they have the old VAs change the voice). I really hope that’s not the case, at least for Grumpy, Funshine and Good Luck (and even Cheer, Share and Wish).  I love their voices the way they are. The hope would be this was a special voice TinyPop used the commercial.  While it’s possible TinyPop would have a different voice than the real version, this wasn’t the case with the older UtM eps.   But I have to brace myself for new voices that I may not like, just to be prepared. Regardless, this is still great news.  Because if nothing else, if this holds up, it means the new eps are finally coming soon!
