Helloooo!! So I'm not new to mlqc but this is probably the first time I've actually started to take note of the plot, personalities, and dynamics in the game (mostly because I rarely have free time lololol) and may I ask what Victor's relationship to mc as a child was? I find their age gap to be a bit weird as children esp since it vaguely reminds me of the weirdo in my school at the moment ;-;

i’m not gonna bore you with the details and would suggest you do read up on the contents yourself whenever you have time. to make it short-

Victor and MC had met in the park when MC was 5, and Victor was 11. Victor’s soccer ball accidentally broke MC’s sandcastle and he promised to bring her pudding the next day to get her to stop crying. From then on, MC would address Victor as Zeyan gēge (please click on the link for details), they would meet in the park very often from then on for nearly a year (childhood playmate/ sweetheart things)- until one day, Victor spotted MC trying to cross the street to save a kitten, and that was the first time ever he used his Evol in public to save her. This later on led to the orphanage kidnapping incident- Victor leading the kids to escape together, but losing MC as she jumped to save him from the lightning aimed at him. That marked the end of their childhood encounter haha.

It certainly left them both with a fixation (i.e., Victor’s long search of 17 years and MC’s obsession with making pudding despite losing her memories), but whatever feelings they held as kids of that age did not get the chance to actually blossom. they were left to pine on their own lmao🫠 and now that they’ve met again, while there are regrets which MC is more vocal about, but Victor always reminds her to have their childhood encounter as a fond memory as opposed to dwelling on the regrets, cause they already have a beautiful life together now and he’d have fallen for her regardless~

I was actually having this discussion on discord yesterday haha- about how it’d have gone down had it not been for the two being separated- and in that scenario, knowing Victor, they’d have waited until they were both (!read MC) were consenting adults to “make it official” haha- which the S2 main story did give us a glimpse of- though we were shown the MC’s yearnings and longings, the writers waited for her to turn 18 before she reunited with him- and they’ve been inseparable since, quite literally and figuratively~ 💕
