After Jungkook left Y/n found herself having an anxiety attack. What the hell did she just do? She was so mad and frustrated with her feelings and having Jungkook so close to her, so defenseless made her fold in so many ways. She made a mistake and now she couldn’t look at Jungkook like before. Not when he knows almost everything.
She never thought that love would be this complicated. If only she knew this before, she would’ve never gotten so close to him. How dumb of her. Now mistakes were made and things were said... Oh how she wished to take them all back. She doesn’t know how much time she spent there alone until she saw Lisa run towards her with a very worried face.
“Are you okay? I called you so many times, why didn’t you answer? I was worried sick!” she kneeled in front of her, checking if she had injuries. It was then when Y/n remembered Jungkook’s words
I only found out that you were back because I saw your friend here yesterday
All of a sudden Y/n gets up startling Lisa a little bit and goes a little far, breathing heavily. She turned to face her again and Lisa saw disappointment in her eyes.
“You talked to Jungkook yesterday?” Lisa’s face went blank.
“I can explain” she tried approaching her friend but was dismissed. “Y/n I was trying to help somehow and ---”
“So you told him I was back and that he should come here to talk?! Seriously, what’s wrong with you?” Y/n’s tears threatened to leave. Again “He did come here to talk. Out of nowhere, on my first day back to work Lisa! It went awful. We fought – I told him I was in love with him and it all went downhill afterwards. I love you and I’m so thankful for your support during these days but this was any of your concern and you shouldn't have gotten involved in this. How did you know who he was anyway?”
“When I walked in, the coffee shop was very calm so I went to make my order and ended up making small talk with Sana. That’s when I noticed him sat down with his coffee in front of him looking outside the window. I asked her if he was Jungkook. He must’ve felt the looks on him because when he saw me, he got up so quick he almost fell. He was very straightforward, I was actually impressed. He asked me about you, if you were back in town, that he saw some pictures of us on our trip and invited me to sit with him so we could talk a bit... I know I shouldn’t have gotten involved, but he looked so heartbroken Y/n, you should’ve seen his face. If I had told you he was gonna see you you’d have run like you always do, because you’re never ready to face your problems” Y/n stayed quiet. Even tho she didn’t appreciate Lisa’s attitude, she had to agree with her partially. She didn’t say anything else, preparing herself to finally close the shop and heading home with Lisa.
The drive home was very quiet and the tension was palpable. Lisa would give her some looks here and there, which Y/n decided to ignore, focusing on the view outside. It had started to rain and the radio was playing "You Broke Me First" by Tate Mcrae. Fate was definitely giving her reasons to cry even more. She grabbed a tissue and blew her nose. She was so absorbed in her thoughts that she didn't notice them entering the garage at home. As soon as she felt the car pull into the parking lot, she quickly got out of the car and started heading towards the elevator that would take them to their floor. A few seconds later she felt Lisa beside her.
“I am really sorry Y/n. I just wanted to help smooth things over so you could understand each other once and for all. You both have a lot to talk about. There are many points that need to be clarified and neither you or him should jump to conclusions. I would never lie to you so when I say he was desperate to know something about you he really was Y/n, otherwise the first question in his head wouldn't be if you were okay and why were you mad at him.”
Y/n looked at Lisa while wipping her tears. “What did you guys talk about?” Lisa gave half a smile
“He was super nervous. Honestly, he didn't know where to start, his hands were shaking, you know? From the looks of it, it was clear that these were difficult days for him too. Then he thanked me for sitting with him and asked how you were, that you weren't responding to his texts and didn't understand your attitude. He told me about when you two met and that you were very close from then on, which is why he was so worried for not hearing anything from you in so many days. Then he confessed that he realized your distance from the moment he started dating Sewoon and asked me if I knew her too. He said he was sorry he didn't bring it up sooner and that he should have talked to you first and been more honest. In the end I mentioned that you would go back to work today, in case he wanted to talk to you, but I never thought it would go so wrong Y/n. What happened?”
When they entered the house, they took off their shoes and put them away. Y/n went to the fridge and poured some orange juice for both of them. The fireplace was already lit, creating the perfect moment to drown the sorrows. It was so cozy and so warm. So homely. It was what she needed for the shitty weather and her mood. Y/n put her feet up on the couch and motioned for Lisa to sit next to her.
“I wasn’t expecting him at all as you can imagine, so it was shoking for me when I heard his angelic voice. I froze. It took me a while to realize that this was going to happen and that there was no way to escape it. I don't know why he says I never said anything to him. After we arrived, I sent him a text, which he never responded to. Hence my surprise was even bigger when I saw him standing there, so I said the first thing it occurred to me. I told him we were closed. *facepalm.* He was so angry, but I can't understand why. I was too nervous to think about it anyway. You know I avoid this kind of confrontation when I feel cornered and he pressed and kept pressing even more when I started dodging his questions.”
Y/n stops so she could five another sip on her drink. Honestly she wanted this to be a very strong shot, but after the last drinking binge, she promised herself that she wouldn't drink again in the near future.
“It was in that exchange of words that I couldn't contain myself any longer and confessed everything. I confessed that I was in love with him, that I knew he and Sewoon were still seeing each other and that I wanted some time to get my ideas together, organize my head. I tried to stay physically distant from him as much as possible, but he kept getting closer and closer to me. I swear to you Lisa, the only reason I didn't kiss him was out of respect for Sewoon, even if she didn't have the same respect for me. I couldn't, so I sent him away. He looked so defeated, but I was so embarrassed about everything. I know I shouldn't have kicked him out of there like that. It's not his fault, I know, he didn't know but still... Every time I look at him I see a shadow of Sewoon and it breaks my heart every time.” Lisa facepalmed herself.
“You're both being idiots. Want to know my honest opinion? I think that all this time you were interested in each other and neither of you had the courage to make the first move. Then Sewoon came along and destroyed everything else. She can manipulate things very well. I know this firsthand. Jungkook told me that besides coming here he also went to your house a lot. Did you know that?" Y/n made a shocked face
"How, if I never told him where I lived?"
“He forced Sewoon to show him. He told me in passing that he had some strong arguments with her after you left and those were NOT couple arguments, but trivial arguments. She was always super calm. It made him feel weird how could she be so calm while her best friend was missing out of the blue... what are you gonna do next?”
Y/n thought for a while. “Something I should’ve done a long time ago.”
The next day and after a very bad night's sleep, Y/n woke up and got ready for another (long) day of work. After yesterday's episode she doubted very much that he would show up there. Yesterday she almost sent him a message apologizing, but she deleted it. She couldn', it was for her own good. Instead she texted Sewoon to meet up with her on her work break, but got no response from her, however Y/n was already expecting it.
The day went by normally, lots of movement and little rest. When there were only 5 minutes left for her break, she heard someone calling her name. Sewoon stood in front of her with her hair perfectly styled, designer clothes and sunglasses hanging from her red knitted sweater. Time really didn't pass for her. She was always so youthful, so free from worries. Y/n looked at her colleague and hinted that she was going to take a break, to which Sana nodded and headed outside with Sewoon. They were silent for a while and when Y/n realized she wasn't going to say anything she decided to make the first move
“How are you?” Sewoon made a disdainful face
“Cut the bullshit Y/n. There’s no need to pretend anymore, you and I know that very well, don’t we? Say what you have to say and stop wasting my time. Unlike you, I do have a fulfilled life.” Y/n felt bad about the way she was talking to her. So this is what Lisa was talking about? this unknown side of her. Yeah, because despite everything Sewoon had never spoken to her like that but, then again, Y/n was never against her game either. What an unpleasant surprise. How had she never noticed this side of her? It just proves how blind she is.
Idiot
“Why? Why are you acting like this? I never did anything wrong to you for you to punish me like this. On the contrary Sewoon, I've always been there for you! Is this because of Jungkook?”
“It's for everything Y/n. Why didn't you continue in your hidden place? God, I waited every day for the news that something had happened to you so you could finally leave my life once and for all. But life is thankless. Besides you being here in front of me right now, you made me waste time with Jungkook looking for you, while you were having fun with MY ex. You’re a bitch. Of all people you had to be with him and I’ll never forgive you for that.”
“You must be crazy. It wasn't planned! what the fuck Sewoon. It was by chance, but let me tell you that I'm glad it happened because I discovered a lot of things about your relationship! Things that aren't the way you said they were, and we've always been friends. My mistake was giving in to all your whims and distance myself from him because YOU wanted me to. Now I know it was all just your insecurity, wasn't it? Since we are confessing things, admit it! I know he had a crush on me in school and I also know you kept something it belonged to me this whole time, or you forgot about the letter he asked you to deliver?”
After saying such words, Sewoon turned white as snow. If that's how she wanted it, that's how she would get it. “And about Jungkook, once again I was the one who met him first, way before you --”
“Ohh please Y/n. Yes I admit I kept it all to myself because I liked him and I hated the fact that he was crushing on you, out of everyone. But you know me, one way or another, if I want something I get it and the proof of that is Jungkook.” Every time she spoke of him, Y/n felt a sharp pang in her heart and she was terrified of what was coming next.
“He fell so easily into my hands and it was so nice to see your face every time you saw us together. I loved every second of your despair. You met him first, yes it's true, but after that I was first in everything. Not you. The way he touches, the way he kisses. How he fucks. I know it all, and you? Do you know what this is? No, because you're nothing more than a pathetic virgin. You'll never get past that. The game with Jungkook is not over, my love. This is just the beginning. You'll see him choose me every time, even if it's just for a quick fuck. It wouldn't be the first time or you really think that this didn't happen while we were apart? My dear, you have a long way to go before you reach me. Face it, you're not enough. Never were, never will be. You took Tae away from me so it's only fair I take Jungkook away from you.”
After these words, Sewoon took grabbed her sunglasses and put them on her face and walked away from Y/n, not without winking at her and blew her a kiss. Y/n was terrified, completely out of place and empty. Sewoon was right, she didn't know what it was. She had won. Although at first she felt victorious with the way she was confronting her former best friend, that quickly fell apart. Now she was defeated, trying her best to hold back her tears until she left work. And with that mask, she went into the second part of his shift.
Of course it didn't last long. An hour after the fight, a couple came in and made their order. Y/n couldn't help but look at them and think about Jungkook, about Sewoon and everything she reported they did. Them on dates, them in bed. It was the breaking point for Y/n. She told Sana she was going to the bathroom and broke down there. She lost count of the time she was closed there until Sana went to check on her and found her in a deplorable state. She had seen Sewoon come in so she knew the outcome of the conversation wasn't going to be the best. She hugged her tightly and told her to go home that she would take care of it, since the new intern who had recently joined the team was also there and he was actually quite experienced. Y/n thanked her, went to change her uniform and left.
She was originally going to call Lisa but decided not to bother her. She was also at work and didn't want to cause any more inconvenience, so she decided to take a walk. A long one. During it she managed to calm down little by little. She sat for a while in a garden full of happy parents and children playing. She remembered her parents and how much she missed them. In these low moments, she just wanted to go back to being a child, however she remembered that even then, life wasn’t easy for her.
It then started to get cold so she continued her walk. Without knowing how or why, she found herself in front of the tattoo shop where Jungkook worked. How the hell did she end up there? It was definitely her subconscious playing tricks on her. With that she just prayed that he wouldn't show up, but guess what? as soon as she had finished having this thought, she heard the main door open and three people came out: Jungkook, a slightly older man and a boy about her age with a film on his arm. With that, she just prayed that he wouldn't show up, but guess what, as soon as she finished thinking about it, she heard the main door open and three people coming out: Jungkook, a slightly older man and a boy about her age with a red arm and something transparent protecting the area. Must have finished a session for sure. Hidden, she watched the scene in front of her. Jungkook was calm and talking to the other two guys when suddenly he took out a pack of cigarettes. What? since when did he star smoking?
Every time Y/n saw him he became even more attractive. She knew just as he caught her attention, he also caught many other girls' attention (and boys too, I bet). And it was something that never crossed her mind before. The amount of girls that must be waiting for him to give them a chance and for a moment she felt small, followed by an ironic laugh. It didn't matter anymore, she mentioned it was over and she was going to do everything to move on. She deserved to be happy.
Y/n hoped they would quickly enter the establishment, as it was getting very cold and she still had a 15 minute's walk home. Looking back at the entrance, she now sees a fourth person in the group, a very pretty girl, redhead with wavy hair. She was wearing black shorts and a white top which highlighted her tanned skin. Looking at her from top to bottom, you could see her right arm covered in tattoos and a few more spread across her other arm and left leg. She seemed to be familiar to Jungkook, because as soon as he saw her they gave her a tight hug and she even took his cigarette to smoke it. The intimacy must have been very strong because he didn't make any uncomfortable face. Y/n wished she was that badass. After everyone smoked their cigarettes, they went back inside. She waited a few more minutes so she could continue on her way without being seen. And there she went, cold, hungry and jealous.
It had only been a couple of hours since she had last spoken to him and while her world was upside down, his seemed whole, as if having "losing" a friend made no difference. You could see the traffic more now with rush hour. It was getting dark and people were heading home. Before going home aswell Y/n decided to take a detour to her favorite place to take dinner home. Lisa had said she would be late today, so it was up to her.
Meanwhile the street had quieted down a little, but it was only for a short while because the noise of a motorcycle started to become noticeable, yet she ignored it until she started to hear constant beeping. Starting to get scared, she decided to ignore it for her own good, but the beeping started to get even more constant and faster until it seemed like someone had said her name. She stopped and saw the motorcycle slow down only to be surprised by Jungkook. Just when she wanted to run from him, was when she would see him the most. Did she ever mention she hated her luck?
He motioned her to move forward so he could park the bike safely. Slowly she walked towards him, because the path she wanted to follow was that one, so it was difficult to go around it. He took off his helmet and watched her walk towards him. My god, could he not look away? how shameless. She gave him a nod, grabbing at the same time the coat she was wearing to hide the nervousness she was feeling. She wasn't going to stop but when she got closer he spoke.
“Please don’t pretend I’m not here. I stopped to greet you, the one thing I’m expecting you to do is for you to greet me back” - son of a bitch, Y/n thought.
“Hi Jungkook, good to see you. Okay bye then” Y/n was already leaving when Jungkook grabbed her arm. Gosh, this was becoming a habit.
“Please don’t do that. Don’t pretend that we’re strangers over something so stupid. Don’t do that to me Y/n. Besides, don’t you know how dangerous it is to walk all by yourself? For a smart girl you’re pretty reckless” Y/n released her arm from his grip.
“Last time I checked I’m an adult fully aware of the dangers and consequences of her actions. Thank you but I don't need another father I already have one." She was mad over his “something stupid” line. What the fuck. Were her feelings so pathethic? Jungkook stirred.
Discomfort? Check.
“I'm sorry. I'm just worried about you walking around by yourself, it's dangerous. As much as it costs you to believe, I care about you. You never had any reason to complain about that Y/n, I don't know the reason behind all this arrogance right now.” She wanted to say that he was wrong, but she couldn’t. Despite the fact that when he was with Sewoon he wouldn’t care for her at all (or so she thought), somehow he was right, she was letting her emotions get the best of her. Jungkook never failed her when she needed him the most and every time she needed to talk, he was the first one to open space for it. She was being unfair.
“You're right. I'm sorry for what I said, I guess. Not that it's an excuse, but today was a difficult day. Thank you for your concern, even tho I'm already used to it. Don't forget that I work in a store that closes at 11 p.m and when I'm at that shift there is no type of ride home other than my two legs and little feet. I'll be fine, don't be late because of me. Thank you once again" She started to move forward but he stopped her from taking any further steps. Again
“Let me give you a ride” She looked at him.
"No need, I still have to take a detour, it will only get in your way. It’s healthy to walk, you can--”
“Stop being so stubborn Y/n. I wanna give you a ride, didn’t you catch that yet? And what were you doing near my shop Y/n? I saw you passing by it when I came outside. Are you okay?”
“What do you mean you saw me? you guys had just walked in, I checked !” Shit she just lost her disguise
“I had to step outside again and saw you around the corner. I warned my friends I had to leave, hoping I could still catch you. Thank God I did. ” You tried your best not to talk about the girl who was with him and how comfortable they looked. Not that it was your business anyway, you had nothing to do with it and it came from you the decision to put a distance in your friendship. You were trying, you swear you were, you wanted to keep that distance, but for some reason fate kept pushing you towards each other's path.
“I don’t know why, you seemed very busy back there.” She said it without realizing it and when she replayed the words that came out of her mouth, she wanted to punch herself. Isn't there a day when things don't go the way she wants?
Jungkook understood the double meaning of what she said, referring to the girl who was with him. He already knew she had seen them as soon as he went outside to smoke a second cigarette since the first one was "stolen" by Athena, his brother's girlfriend. They got along really well and she had just started working at the store.
"I finished my sessions a long time ago. I was just waiting for Athena to give her something. She’s my brother’s girlfriend and she started working there a couple weeks ago. When I saw you, I found it strange because you never take this route and I wanted to make sure you were okay or if you wanted to talk to me now that your calmer. Now that I'm here, you have no excuse to walk home. Even if you need to go somewhere I'll take you, it doesn't bother me at all"
For some reason Y/n's face became more relieved and although she tried to hide it, even Jungkook himself noticed it. When she said nothing more, he handed her the spare helmet. Initially he was going to help her put it on, but she took it off his hand and put it on herself. Y/n knew there was no point in insisting with him. After being friends for so long, something she knew too well was how stubborn and insistent Jungkook was, so she put on her helmet while Jungkook settled himself on his Harley waiting for her to get on. Then she started to get nervous, where should she hold on?
Jungkook noticed her expression, so when she sat on the motorcycle, he grabbed her one of her arms and put it around his waist, pulling her closer to him. Y/n wasn't expecting that gesture so when she tried to move away a little, she heard Jungkook say "no", pulling her close to him again. Y/n's breathing was uneven, yet she tried to hide it, putting her other arm around him casually. She swears she saw Jungkook smile in the rearview mirror. When she thought she was back to normal, Jungkook turned his head back and she almost passed out. He was so breathtaking.
"Where to?" Y/n looked at him and said the name of her favorite restaurant and they started their way over there. Every now and then she would try to move away a bit, but when he noticed her presence further away, by "coincidence" he would brake, making her hit his back with her chest. The trip was based on his unexpected braking and her complaints about it. Anyone who saw them like this would think they were a couple in love. If only, she thought.
If only
La dolce Perla it was the name of the restaurant. Y/n discovered this place while walking with her mother one day when she came to visit her at her work place and since then she started going there, especially on her worst days. Shortly after she discovered the place, she met the owner and they became close. Jeff was a gentleman in his 50s, super friendly and approachable. He was her go to when needed comfort. Despite living there Jungkook had never heard of that place, but he really liked the aesthetics. Entering, they immediately came face to face with Jeff.
“Y/n, my dear. How are you doing? Long time no see. We were already missing having you around."
“Ohh stop it Jeff” she laughed. “I missed you too --.” she was suddenly interrupted Jeff - “Wait... Is he your boyfriend? Gosh Y/n, I’m happy it worked well for you in the end --” Y/n turned white and interrupted Jeff back
“No no no. Not my boyfriend at all. He’s a – hmm- friend, yeah. Actually I came here to ask if you had any food left so I could take home. I didn’t eat much today and I was really craving your amazing food so --”
“You could have said that already. Even if I didn’t have anything I’d have it prepared just for you. But since you and your friend are here, why don't you eat here? Today is a quiet day, we have free tables. Kara will direct you to the main room.” She understood Jeff's scheme and refused the offer until she heard Jungkook's voice.
“This place is amazing and the food looks wonderful. You’re not gonna take this opportunity away from me, right? Next time I might not be so lucky and it will be your fault" And that was how Kara got them a table overlooking the fantastic outdoor garden. They were also at a more secluded table, with a little more privacy and without many eyes on them and perhaps that's why all she wanted to do was run away.
Y/n made her request and Jungkook did the same. Kara went to deliver their order and came back with a bottle of red wine and set it on the table, winking at her. The atmosphere of the restaurant was wonderful but the tension between them was enormous. She knew she should have insisted more on him not accompany her, even if it meant running away from him, but he would think she was childish. Jungkook took the bottle and poured both glasses and drank a little, without taking his eyes off her.
“ So... with all this you ended up not answering my question." Y/n looked at him confused. "Are you okay? I thought you were closing this week. When I saw you near my tattoo shop I thought it was a mirage, but then I realized it wasn't. You know I'm here if you need to talk. Or anything else.”
It was then that she remembered Sewoon and her words, then she looked at the scene between her and Jungkook. Would this be a normal date with him? everything Sewoon experienced with him. She shook her head, trying to forget that thought. Fortunately the food arrived.
“Yeah, everything’s fine. I changed schedules with Sana today, I needed to take care of some matters and... yeah, that's it.” she said, tasting her meal. Jungkook followed her actions before adding:
“I think you forget that I know you very well and I know when you are lying. Are you gonna run away again? Because let me know if you do Y/n. I was devastated by the fact that you left and didn’t tell me anything. An “I’m okay” would be enough. We’d talk whenever you were ready. I know you have some things to say and honestly so do I. I’ll wait, just don’t push me away. I miss you.”
Without any warning, her eyes began to form tears. It was a good thing that both of their plates were almost empty, because she couldn't take it anymore. She whispered "sorry, I can't" to Jungkook, got up and went to the exit. It was too much and she wasn't ready. It was all very recent. She would talk to Jeff later and pay for the meal another day. At that moment she just wanted to get out of there. It was for a short time because Jungkook was by her side after a few minutes.
"Stop acting like this Y/n. Stop running away and face things as they are. Face me!" He was so frustrated right now
“What do you want from me Jungkook? Hm? I already told you everything. I’m in love with you. I fell in love with you and I’m so fucking mad about it. It could be everyone but you. That’s what you want to hear?” Jungkook felt a sharp pain in his heart. Was it so awful to like him? Y/n was frustrated but kept going
“I'm not the type to fall in love. I always ran away from that. I never had a boyfriend, I never pressured myself to give in to boys at school and I never liked going out at night. That’s Sewoon not me. I’m shy. I like to be in my corner. Maybe that’s the reason Sewoon approached me. I was so insecure and quiet that I wasn't even good at defending myself and that's what she did and we've been friends ever since, or so I thought at least. Then I met you Jungkook and--” The tears she was holding were now falling. “and you changed that. Don’t ask me how or why. I was so messy on the day we met and you still talked to me so nice. Never thought I’d see you again but the next day came and you were there and after that too and we created such a nice bond. I didn't want to ruin what we had, because for me it was rare and I knew it was impossible for you to reciprocate my feelings. Just look at you and look at me. You are the kind of person everyone wants while I am the kind of person no one notices.” Y/n was crying for real now and Jungkook tried approaching her but she stepped back.
It was time
“That’s where you’re wrong Y/n. I noticed you ever since the first day-. Why do you think I kept going back? I have a coffee shop across my work place Y/n- I- don’t you think it’d be easier for me to go there than to take a motorcycle trip to go to yours?” he tried approaching her once again. She let him this time. They were inches away from each other at this point when she looked at him with such an intense gaze Jungkook felt shivers down his spine.
“I was going to tell you, you know. That I liked you. I think it was fate, because it was on that same day that you asked me to introduce you to Sewoon and I already knew how the situation would unfold. Sewoon is beautiful. You are perfect and it was just a matter of time for you to find your way into each other's embrace.” Jungkook felt like a huge son of a bitch with what he was hearing. Fuck, this wasn't how he wanted it to be. “I wanna go home Jungkook. This is too much for me to handle and I need to slow down before I reach the point of breaking. I don't want to break in front of you. Not you, not right now"
Jungkook nodded and kissed her forehead respecting her request. He could do that, he could wait. In fact he was going to wait. He let this situation drag for far too long and had to put an end in it. There were so many lapses in this that even himself was confused and there was only one person he could talk to other than you.
He grabbed Y/n's helmet and put it on her head, doing the same with his own. The rest of the trip was silent, but there was no tension anymore, more like a sense of relief. The only time she spoke was to tell him where she was living now. He parked in front of the house and helped her take off her helmet, grabbing her hand, stroking it. Y/n exchanged glances between his eyes and their hands. Once again she wanted to kiss him so badly and one more time Sewoon's words replayed in her head so all she did was give him a tight hug. Not for him, but for her, she was in need of that comfort. As she was in his arms she could smell his perfume. Oh - she remembers this smell. He's using the perfume she gave him on his birthday. Her heart was so warm from this.
Everyone talks about how little things are important. Those people were right.
Before Y/n walked away, she gave him a small kiss on the cheek. She then felt his hands on the sides of her waist. For a split second she thought he was going to kiss her and got a little anxious. She doesn't know if he noticed because after she heard Jungkook say "I'm waiting for you". Y/n nodded and stepped back, making her way to the front door. When she saw he was still there she waved and went in. Her heart was racing. What was that? Butterflies in the stomach? More like the whole zoo in it. Pieces by pieces the truth would come out, but would you and Jungkook find a way for each other's life again?
More important, would you be able to leave your insecurities behind and give in to the feeling you have been avoiding for so long? You hope so because you'd do anything to have Jungkook by your side. You can't have been the only one who felt the sexual after he drop you off. The atmosphere between you both was different and it had nothing to do with friendship.
You were sure of that

Confession-Alejandro Balde
Wearning:+18,sweet smut.
It was late, and the rain was falling gently on the streets of Barcelona as you clutched your phone in your hands, your heart shattered by yet another lie. The proof was right there, in front of your eyes messages, photos, details that left no room for doubt. He had cheated on you. Again.
You felt foolish, exhausted, drained. How much longer were you going to stay in this toxic relationship, hoping he would change?
A knock at the door made you jump. You already knew who it was.
Alejandro stood there, his hoodie slightly damp from the rain, his eyes burning with restrained anger. He looked at you for a moment, then, without saying a word, pulled you into his arms.
"You don’t deserve this," he whispered against your hair.
You broke down in tears, letting all the pain flow out, just like the rain streaming down the windows. Alejandro didn’t let go, not even for a second.
"I don’t understand why I keep hurting myself," you murmured, your voice breaking.
He pulled back slightly, cupping your face in his hands. His dark eyes were intense, filled with a feeling you couldn’t quite decipher yet.
"Because you love him," he answered, a trace of bitterness in his tone. "But he doesn’t know what it means to love you."
Your breath hitched for a moment."Ale…"
He shook his head, taking a deep breath as if he was about to say something he had been holding back for too long.
"I’ve seen you suffer too many times, Y/N. I’ve watched you forgive, hope, stay when you should have walked away." He paused, his thumb gently brushing against your cheek. "And I realized I can’t stand by and watch anymore."
Your heart pounded wildly.
"I love you," he confessed, his voice trembling but sure. "And I have for a long time. I just always thought you deserved someone better than me… but then I realized that anyone would be better than him."
He gave you space to pull away, to refuse, to deny. But you didn’t. Because in that moment, with his hands holding you as if you were the most precious thing in the world, you felt a truth you had never dared to face before:
Alejandro was everything your ex wasn’t.
And maybe, he was exactly what you had needed all along.
You look at him for a while and then finally kiss him. He responded almost immediately, kissing you back hungrily, as if he could not believe that this was finally happening. His hands roamed across your body possessively, pulling you closer to him as if he wanted to fuse your body into his.
You straddled him without breaking the kiss. He groaned, his hands gripping your waist as you straddled him, his body reacting to you. He deepened the kiss, his tongue exploring your mouth passionately. Alejandro shifted you a little so you were fully sitting on his lap, and could feel his excitement growing as your body pressed against him.
You moaned and clung to him as you kissed him more passionately. He broke the kiss for a moment, his breathing ragged, and looked at you with dark eyes filled with desire.
"You have no idea how long I’ve wanted this," he murmured, his hands roaming across your back, as if trying to memorize every curve of your body. Without warning, he flipped you both over so you were now laying on the couch, with him hovering over you.
You look at him smiling and you let him fall on your body hugging him while you caressed his hair and every now and then you gave him sweet kisses on his face. He buried his face in your neck, nuzzling and breathing you in. His body was heavy on you, but it felt safe and comforting.
His hands roamed your body, sliding underneath your shirt and caressing your bare back. He let out a low moan, as if just the touch of your skin was enough to make him lose his mind. "You drive me crazy, you know that?" He murmured, his lips brushing against your collarbone. He began to kiss and lick your skin, his teeth grazing along your neck, leaving a trail of goosebumps in their wake. His hands continued to roam over your body, as if he couldn’t get enough of you.
You could feel his arousal, hard and wanting, pressed against you, and it made you shiver with anticipation. You pulled him closer, your fingers tangling in his hair. He responded immediately to your touch, his body pressing against yours even more. His hands were everywhere, as his mouth latched onto your skin, finding every sensitive spot that made you arch your back, and moan softly.
He nipped at your earlobe and then whispered in your ear, his voice deep and sensual, “I want you. I want you so bad it’s driving me crazy.” You shivered at his words, feeling a new wave of desire wash over you. You pulled him closer, kissing him hard and needy, as your body strained against his. He groaned, his hands sliding further down your body, exploring every curve as if marking you as his territory.
You wrapped your legs around his hips, wanting him even closer, wanting to feel every inch of his body against yours. He responded in kind, his own hips rolling against you as he kissed you deeply, his tongue tangling with yours.
Alejandro gently and delicately takes off your leggings and kisses your legs softly and then takes off your panties, he moans at the sight. He looked at you, his eyes dark and heavy with desire. He ran his hands over your thighs, his touch a mix of gentle and possessive.
"You are so magnificent," he murmured, his voice hoarse, as he planted kisses along your legs, his lips sending shivers of pleasure through your body. Alejandro slowly made his way up, his hands sliding up to your hips, as he pulled you closer. He looked up at you, his eyes locking with yours, filled with an intensity you had never seen before.
He quickly takes off his sweatpants and boxers and slowly enters you. His hands gripped your thighs as he slowly entered you, his body trembling with desire. He let out a low moan, his eyes locked on yours, as if he couldn't look away.
He took a moment, his body completely enveloped in you, and you could feel his heart pounding against your chest. He leaned in, kissing you deeply, his body pressed against yours as if he couldn't get close enough. “You feel so good,” he says softly as he pushed his cock into you slowly and sensually.
You moan softly feeling his gentle, slow and sensual thrusts. Alejandro watched your face closely, his gaze taking in every single expression you made. He loved the way your body responded to his touch, the way your moans made him shiver.
His hands continued to roam your body, finding all the spots that made you arch your back, and squirm in pleasure. He was taking his time, wanting to make you feel every single moment, every single sensation.
“Ale” you moan softly as you still feel his slow and sensual thrusts. “faster” you murmur but Alejandro shakes his head. “There's time baby, I want to make you feel every inch of me inside you” he whispers softly kissing your forehead.
“You’re so beautiful, so perfect,” he murmured between kisses, his hands roaming over your body lovingly. “I’ve wanted this for so long, I can barely believe it’s real.”
Your heart beats fast at his words and you smile softly and then moan as you feel Alejandro slowly and sensually hitting your g-spot. “There it is,” he whispered, his eyes gleaming as he noted your reaction. He knew he had found the perfect spot, and he began to move himself even more to touch it more softly, slowly making you lose your mind.
“Keep your eyes on me,” he commanded. “Don’t look away.” You obeyed, your gaze locked with his as he continued to move inside you. His eyes were dark and intense, filled with so much emotion it took your breath away.
He bent down to kiss you again, his mouth devouring yours possessively. His movements became even more deliberate, as if he was trying to drive you crazy. Every inch of your body was on fire, ignited by the passion of his touch. Alejandro picked up the pace a little, his thrusts becoming deeper and more erratic, but he was still in control, still keeping the rhythm slow and sensual. He could feel your body reacting to his touch, your breathing ragged and heavy.
Alejandro watched you closely, his eyes never leaving yours, as if he was trying to burn this moment into his memory. His hands were everywhere, roaming your skin, touching every part of you as if he couldn’t get enough.
You moan softly, kissing his jaw lovingly. "Ale I'm coming" you whisper. “Let go, baby,” he whispered back. “I’ve got you, I’m here.”His hands gripped your thighs a little tighter, as he continued to move inside you, driving you closer and closer to the edge.
“Come for me,” he said, his voice low and sensual. “Come for me and I’ll catch you.” At his words you moan softly and come. With two more thrusts he pulls out and comes on your belly sighing loudly.
He groans at the sight. Alejandro reaches out and takes the rag that was on the furniture and removes his cum from you and then throws the rag on the floor. Alejandro collapsed beside you, his body glistening with sweat, his breathing ragged. He pulled you closer, holding you tightly in his arms. “That was… incredible,” he murmured, his voice hoarse and filled with emotion.
Alejandro looked at you, his eyes filled with a mixture of awe and satisfaction. He gently kissed your forehead, his fingers tracing a path across your skin as if he couldn’t get enough of you. You smile sweetly and hug him.
He held you close, relishing the feeling of you in his arms. He gently kissed the top of your head, inhaling the scent of your hair. "I can't believe that just happened," he murmured, still sounding slightly breathless. "I've dreamed of this for so long, and it was even better than I could have imagined.”
Alejandro hugged you tighter, feeling a wave of protectiveness wash over him. He never wanted to let you go. He wanted to keep you safe, keep you happy, and keep you close. His hand gently caressed your back, feeling the soft curves of your body. "I love you," he whispered, his voice filled with sincerity. "I love you so much, and I always have. I just never thought it could be real."
Alejandro pulled back slightly, so he could look into your eyes. He wanted to make sure you knew how serious he was, how honest his words were. He cradled your face in his hands and searched your gaze, his expression filled with a mixture of vulnerable and intensity.

FOR THE BEST MOM
Lewis Hamilton X Wife!fem!reader
Summary: When Lewis and Y/n have already lost two babies during pregnancy, but he never fails to send her flowers on Mother's Day and reminds her that even without them there, she is a good mother.
Words: 3K+
Warnings: Mention of pregnancy loss, mention of child loss, anguish, anguish, and anguish until the end. But Lew is a good husband, and this will make you cry.
Author: English is not my first language, so apologies for any spelling, grammar and slang mistakes that may be in the story. And this story leaves me COMPLETELY speechless, I don't know why I wrote it, but I needed some anguish. Sorry, and grab some tissues.
MASTERLIST
⚠️SENSITIVE CONTENT⚠️
The love between Y/n and Lewis was always strong, built on complicity, respect and admiration. They were partners in everything, in joys and challenges, in moments of lightness and in those of greater weight. Just as they had promised on their wedding day.
Every shared laugh and every silent touch carried a deep meaning. They had each other, and that was always enough. At least, that's what they tried to believe.
The day they discovered their first pregnancy was one of the happiest of their lives. Y/n was in shock for a few seconds before letting happiness flood her. Lewis, upon hearing the news, felt a wave of emotion take over his body. Tears came before he could even contain them. He lifted her into the air, spinning her around carefully, his chest exploding with joy. Every kiss he placed on her face was a silent thank you for that gift.
They spent the next few days daydreaming. They imagined what it would be like to hold the baby for the first time, how they would decorate the room, what traits they would inherit from each other. Life seemed even more colorful, full of new promises.
But then, it all came crashing down.
Shortly after, Y/n started to feel unwell. At first, she tried to ignore it, believing it was something temporary.
But then the doctors broke the news, and it came as a brutal blow. The silence in the room felt overwhelming, and the air became too heavy to breathe. All the happiness, dreams, and plans they had made were gone in an instant.
The next few days were cloudy. Y'n felt like the world around her was spinning in slow motion as Lewis tried to be her stronghold. But at night, when she fell asleep, he would let the tears flow silently.
A year later, a new positive test. The fear was still there, haunting them both, but there was also hope. The rainbow baby they had wanted so much was finally on the way. They decided to celebrate, even though deep down they held on to happiness with caution,
But once again, pain struck them.
The second loss was even worse. There were no more words of comfort that could fill the void. The silence became more frequent, the conversations about the future with children diminished, and the pain settled between them like a constant presence.
Years passed, and the subject of 'having children' ceased to be mentioned. They moved on with their lives, still in love, still partners, but with the feeling that two pieces of their hearts were missing.
And the flowers arrived.
On the first Mother's Day after the second loss, Y/n noticed the bouquet of flowers left on the table. She hadn't connected it with the fact that it was Mother's Day. It was just a silent gesture from Lewis, a tribute he made without expecting any reaction. But it made her smile and thank her husband for the beautiful flowers.
The following year, he repeated the gesture, but this time he added a note. When Y/n found the small piece of paper among the petals, Lewis's words made tears fall before she could control them.
'To the best mommy our little ones could ever have. I know they're not here physically, but I believe they feel all your love. And I feel it too. You're amazing, Y/n. You always will be.'
She cried until Lewis got home. And when he found her clutching the note to her chest, all he could do was wrap his arms around her and hold her tight.
The years continued to pass, and with them, flowers became tradition.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••
3 years after the second loss.
It was Mother’s Day, and Lewis wasn’t in town. He wanted to be with Y/n and her mother, to hold her in his arms and remind her that she was never alone. But his running that weekend kept him from going home.
Y/n spent the day with her mother, having lunch together, talking about everything and nothing at the same time. But, even surrounded by love, there was an emptiness that persisted, a feeling of longing for something that never came to be.
On the way home, as she drove through the quiet city streets, one of her favorite songs played on the dashboard of her car. The sound brought comfort, but the tears came before she could stop them.
They fell silently, aimlessly, without her really noticing until she had to wipe them away with the back of her hand. She sighed deeply, trying to push away the thoughts that haunted her.
When he reached the garage, he turned off the car and stood there for a moment, taking a deep breath. Gathering his strength. When he opened the front door, the low sound of Roscoe's snoring in the living room filled the silence. A soft laugh escaped his lips, mixed with the tears that still insisted on falling.
Before she could close the door, a voice called her name. She turned around and saw the doorman of the condominium approaching with a gentle smile.
"Good evening, Mrs. Hamilton."
Y/n walked down the steps and shook the older man's hand affectionately. "Good night!"
The doorman then held out a bouquet to her, a beautiful arrangement of lilies and white roses. "Mr. Hamilton asked me to deliver this to you. I forgot about it when you came through the gate just now."
Y/n blinked in surprise. She took the bouquet delicately, feeling the soft scent of the flowers fill the air. "Thank you" She said with a small but sincere smile.
The man nodded and returned to his post, while Y/n hurriedly climbed the front stairs of the house.
As soon as she entered the house, she walked to the kitchen, placing the flowers on the table before carefully removing the note stuck between the petals. Her hands trembled slightly as she unfolded the paper.
'To the best mom in the world.
I know today is a difficult day, and I wish I could be by your side, to hold your hand and tell you that you were never alone on this journey. You will always be the mother of our little ones, no matter where they are. I know that if they could, they would tell you how much they love you and how proud they are of you. I know I am.
You are the strongest, most incredible woman I know, and my heart will always be yours. Forever. All my love, Lewis.'
The tears came before she could stop them. But this time, they were not tears of sadness, but of love.
She ran her fingers over the words, taking each one in. That man. That man always knew exactly what to say, even from far away.
Quickly drying her tears, she took out her cell phone and took a photo of the bouquet, sending it to Lewis with a short but sentimental message.
Before locking the screen, he read the note once more, a small but genuine smile dancing on his lips.
Lewis always found a way to remind her that even in the quietest, most painful moments, she was never alone.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••
4 years after the second loss.
Mother's Day had arrived once again. Four years had passed since the second loss, and somehow Y/n felt like she was doing a little better this year.
She spent the afternoon with her mother and siblings, enjoying the day with laughter, stories, and shared memories. There were moments when she felt homesick, but the weight was a little lighter. She knew that Lewis was with her mother too, and that at the end of the day, he would be home to her arms.
When she arrived, the house was silent. Roscoe was sleeping peacefully on the couch, and a small smile appeared on Y/n's lips. She turned on some soft music on her cell phone, letting the melody fill the rooms as she prepared dinner. She cut the vegetables calmly, humming softly to the song that was playing.
It was then that he heard the familiar sound of the lock unlocking.
Seconds later, Lewis's voice sounded in the entrance hall, speaking softly to Roscoe, who had come to meet him excitedly. Her smile widened without her realizing it.
Lewis appeared in the kitchen doorway, watching his wife for a moment. She was stirring the pot with a calm expression, humming softly, and it warmed his heart in an indescribable way.
He approached silently, holding a bouquet in his hands. As soon as he reached her, he leaned over to place a soft kiss on her shoulder.
Y/n smiled and turned to him, touching his face briefly before giving him a quick kiss on the lips.
"How was your day?" He asked softly.
"It was good. My mom made that broccoli lasagna she always makes and we spent the day looking at old photos. She even sent some for you to see," he replied, and Y/n laughed. "By the way, she said hi to you too."
She smiled fondly. "I spent the day with my mom, and my brothers were in town too. It was nice...fun even."
Lewis nodded, and for a few moments, silence reigned between them. Y/n went back to stirring the pan, and he just watched her, as if recording every detail of that moment.
Then, with a small smile, he held out the bouquet to her. Y/n held the flowers, a tender glint in her eyes. She already knew the reason for that gesture.
Lewis kissed her cheek before murmuring, "I love you." Then he pulled back a little, giving her space to read the note attached to the bouquet.
Y/n opened the small envelope and skimmed over the words. Lewis still couldn't say all of that out loud. It had always been easier for him to write, to let the words spill out onto the paper so she could feel them in every letter.
'My love,
Another Mother's Day, another year by your side, and another reminder that you will always be the best mom our little ones could ever have. I know they are watching over us, and I know that if they could, they would tell you how much they love you and how grateful they are for you. You have always been and always will be an incredible mother. No matter where they are, the love you have for them echoes in every corner of the universe. I love you, Y/n. Forever. With all my heart, Lewis.'
The tears came before she could stop them. But this time, they didn't just carry sadness. They brought love, longing, memories.
With a tender smile on her lips, she turned to him and hugged him tightly. "I love you too, baby daddy." The words hit her before she could think.
Y/n felt them in her heart, and Lewis felt them in his soul.
He wrapped his arms around her, holding her as if he would never let go. He placed a soft kiss on her shoulder, soaking in that silent but meaningful moment.
Then, Y/n sighed and broke the silence with a light tone, "My nephews were hell today. You should have seen the chaos at my mother's house.
Lewis let out a low laugh, feeling the air lighten.
They didn't avoid the subject, but they were still healing. They talked about it as best they could, in whatever way they could, respecting each other's time.
And somehow they knew they were walking together, side by side. Always.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••
5 years after the second loss.
The day had been peaceful. For the first time in years, Mother's Day was not marked by heavy silences or painful moments. Lewis and Y/n spent lunch with Carmen, laughing at the stories she told about Lewis's childhood. Afterwards, they had dinner at Y/n's mother's house, enjoying time with her brothers and nephews.
Neither of them mentioned the loss they shared. They just lived in the moment, allowing themselves to feel the lightness of being with family.
Now night spread across the sky as Lewis drove back home. The car was filled with the sound of Y/n's excited voice, telling something funny that happened at work.
"And then he thought I was serious!" She laughed, leaning her head back against the bench. "You should have seen his face!"
Lewis laughed along, shaking his head. "I swear, sometimes I think your job is just a big sitcom and you're the lead."
Y/n laughed, feeling her chest lighten. But as the laughter died down, she realized Lewis wasn't heading home.
"Where are we going?" She asked, curious.
Lewis smiled sideways and placed a hand on her thigh, giving it a light rub. "I'm just looking for an open place to buy something."
"What thing?"
"Surprise."
Y/n rolled her eyes, but smiled. She knew there was no point in insisting. So she just went back to telling stories about work, and Lewis listened attentively as they drove through the city.
A few minutes later, he stopped in front of a 24-hour store.
"What are you going to do?" Y/n asked as soon as he turned off the car.
Lewis smiled. "I'll be back in a few seconds." He leaned over, kissed her on the cheek, and got out of the car.
Y/n laughed to herself and started changing music on the dashboard, waiting for him.
When Lewis returned, he held a single rose in his hands. He opened the door and handed the flower to her with a small smile.
Y/n frowned, but took the rose, laughing. "Thank you..."
Lewis took a deep breath and looked at her. "I didn't have time to buy a bigger bouquet," he said softly. "But I had to do it today. You know!"
Y/n understood instantly. Her chest tightened, but not in a bad way. Just intense.
Then, for the first time, Lewis began to speak. "I never knew how to put it into words. You know. I used to write it on notes, but now I'm a little better at saying it out loud," he began, his voice low but firm. "All these years, I've tried to move on, I've tried to accept it... But the truth is, a part of me has always felt like I failed you. That I should have done more." Y/n squeezed the rose between her fingers, feeling her heart tighten in her chest. "I've imagined so many times what it would be like. You holding our baby in your arms. Us choosing names, setting up the nursery, fighting over who would stay up late at night... I always knew you would be an amazing mother, Y/n. And it hurts me to know that we never had that chance."
His voice wavered at the end, and Y/n felt tears well up in her eyes. She ran her fingers down Lewis’s cheek, feeling the texture of his stubble beneath her touch.
"You didn't fail me, Lew," he murmured, his voice thick with emotion. "And you'd make an amazing father. I always knew that."
His eyes met hers, seeking comfort in the midst of their shared pain.
"I know it still hurts" Y/n continued, smiling sadly. "But... today I feel like I can breathe a little better. I'm taking the courage to say this out loud to you."
Lewis smiled slightly, bringing his hand to hers and intertwining their fingers. With the other, he places it on her cheek and smiles. "You are an incredible woman. And a very good mommy, with or without them here. I love you." Lewis kisses her, Y/n smiles and returns the kiss.
When they lose their breath, Lewis still keeps his hands intertwined with hers and starts the car, to go home now. Y/n smiled at the rose in her hand and went back to talking about the funny moments at work.
When they got home, Lewis opened the door and let Y/n in first. As soon as she stepped into the living room, Roscoe came running up to her, wagging his tail excitedly.
"Hey, kiddo" Y/n smiled, running her hand through the dog's fur.
She walked to the kitchen and grabbed a vase to put the rose in. When Lewis arrived shortly after, Y/n was leaning over the counter, looking at the flower with a smile on her face.
The silence stretched for a few seconds before she took a deep breath and hesitantly closed the distance between them. "I... I still want to have children."
Lewis was quiet for a moment, but then he nodded and walked over to her. Y/n looked at her husband, feeling her heart beat faster. "All of this still hurts." She confessed, "And I'll never forget. I don't want to forget. They're part of our history. But I want to move on."
Lewis nodded again, and Y/n felt his hand on hers, warm and comforting. She swallowed hard before asking, "Do you still want to have children with me?" She cried softly.
And then, that question caught Lewis off guard, pain shot through his chest and punched his heart. It made tears come to his eyes as well.
"Of course I do, love." His voice was choked, but full of conviction. "I've never wanted this with anyone else but you. I could never imagine my life without us building a family together." Y/n sobbed softly, and Lewis squeezed her hand tighter. "It still hurts to think about them... and I think it always will. But I want to move on with you, in whatever way, for as long as it takes. Not to forget... but to turn the page. To give new meaning to all of this. I'd face anything to be able to hold our baby in my arms one day" He whispered. "And I know that when that day comes, it will be worth every moment."
Y/n sobbed harder and pulled him into a tight hug. Lewis's chest rose and fell rapidly, trying to control his emotion, but he held her like he never wanted to let go.
For a long time, they stayed like that, just breathing together, feeling each other's warmth, allowing that moment to completely envelop them.
A comfortable silence fell, and then Roscoe came over to them, nudging Y/n’s leg with his nose. She laughed and bent down to pet the dog, while Lewis watched her, his heart lighter than it had been in years.
And in that moment, as he watched the woman he loved smiling softly, her eyes still shining with emotion, Lewis knew that no matter what the future brought, he would never be alone.
He had Y/n. And one day, they would have a little piece of their love in their arms.
Author: I had seen somewhere where the husband did exactly that to his wife, but I can't remember where I had read it. But anyway, I cried while reviewing it.

Come Close I’ll Show You Heaven
Logan x afab!reader
1.8k words
Summary: getting with Wolverine isn’t exactly what you expect
Authors notes: this is for my beloved @heresthestorymorningglory who has been my best friend, my sister, my beta reader, my favourite writer, my supporter and everything in between since we met through fandom a year and a half ago and have been writing and having fun with our favourite characters together since. Logan’s an old love for both of us, but for her birthday he’s entirely hers. Title comes from one of her Logan songs, I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) by Taylor Swift.
Content/warnings: nsfw, dry humping, fingering, kinda premature ejaculation but not really, alcohol mentions, fluff, crying
Logan couldn’t remember the last time he allowed himself to feel. He wasn’t sure he still possessed the ability, even if he stopped numbing every thought with the soothing sting of alcohol. It provided him the only moments of quiet he’d experienced in years, or at least, something close to it.
His kiss had been bruising; a rough, heated mess that you were almost sure would end in his hips slamming hard against yours until he found the brief release he needed and left you used and disappointed.
Because you knew that whilst you wanted him, he probably just wanted to get his dick wet. Hell, he even kept his mask on while he kissed you to keep his distance.
You knew it would be a one time thing, and now, with his lips ghosting over your throat accompanied by that delicious scratch of stubble, you had two choices – go with it and finally have him even just this once, or never know. And you had to know.
His fingertips drove into your waist as you made your mind up, grounding you back with him.
It felt so good, those heavy, muscular arms controlling your movements. Heat rushed to your core at the thought of him taking what he needed just like this, and the thought that it might not be so disappointing after all to have the Wolverine use you, feral and strong and ravaging. It was already kind of thrilling just to kiss him.
His grip loosened then and your heart sank – just a little at first, and then, all at once as he stilled above you.
‘Listen-’
‘No, it’s ok,’ you interrupted, beating him to it, ‘you don’t need to say it.’
You didn’t need to see him without his mask to know a thick line had appeared between Logan’s brows.
‘Say what?’ he asked.
‘That you don’t want me- or, I’m not doing it for you… whatever. You’ve changed your mind.’ You pushed yourself up beneath him, creating a physical distance so he didn’t have to. ‘It’s ok, we can just pretend this never happened and-’
He pushed himself forward and his lips pressed to yours again, only this time, he was ever so gentle. You gasped against them. You’d never seen him gentle. Never thought you’d feel it, either.
‘Not what I was getting at,’ he breathed, gruff, against your lips. His voice was the lowest you’d ever heard and you could feel it shiver through you. ‘Believe me, you’re doing… everything for me. It’s just- it’s been a while, alright? That’s all.’
‘Oh...’ You froze. Did you hear that correctly?
‘So, if I disappoint you-’ he broke off with a frustrated huff.
‘No, you won’t. You can’t,’ you reassured, kissing him back tenderly. You could practically feel his heart swelling at your response.
You wanted him, and he didn’t deserve anyone wanting him, but you did, and it was sincere and… kind of overwhelming.
His hand, once grabbing careless and rough at your hips, rubbed slow, tender circles into your back as the other pushed up into your hair, thick fingers tangling loosely in the strands. His chest heaved with a relief so intense it was almost tangible.
‘What do you need?’ you breathed, and he paused for a moment.
No one had ever asked what he needed. He wasn’t even sure.
‘Just you,’ he said.
You hooked a careful leg around his waist to pull him down closer to you, his hips falling easily between your thighs, and your tongue teased, warm and wet against his lower lip until he parted them and invited you back in.
You took the lead this time, slow and languid, and he hummed into it, hips rocking against the gentle movement of yours while he basked in your attention.
You rolled onto your sides to face one another, and little grunts were swallowed by your mouth as his arousal, very evident in the yellow spandex slid over yours.
Daring, you thought, since it had been how many months? Years? Since he’d been with someone else.
You weren’t sure exactly how long Logan considered a long time, and although you were sure the alcohol consumption might help slow things a little, you really didn’t want him to peak too soon if this would be the one and only time.
You were on track to be fucked by the Wolverine for Christ’s sake — but more than that, you wanted to show him a good time, let him feel the comfort of another’s touch, let go. If he came now, you weren’t sure you’d ever get another chance to show him that.
He pulled back though, and you smiled at him, small but genuine. Reassuring again.
You fought the urge to reach up and push his mask back so you could look into his eyes, watch his reaction as you stroked his stubbled cheek with real affection.
Logan beat you to it. He slid the hand from around your back to push the mask away himself. Tired eyes turned watery as they met yours, and you sighed.
‘What?’ he grumbled, ‘Prefer me with it on?’
You couldn’t stifle your laugh. ‘No. Well, I mean… I certainly wouldn’t be opposed to it, but right now I wanna see you.’
‘Freak,’ he grinned, hand moving back to your waist.
You let your fingertips wander over his suit, bright yellow dulled by dirt and stained with blood, memorising the contours of his body beneath while he memorised the warmth of your palm.
You let out a pleased little moan when your fingers found his erection and dragged up the impressive length, and his eyes squeezed shut.
‘Fuck,’ came a growl from under his breath.
He’s sensitive, you delighted, and took your hand away, back to resting on those broad shoulders.
‘Fuckin’ tease,’ he smirked, eyes lighting up with a fire you hadn’t yet seen but knew lurked somewhere in the depths. Impatient, he slid his hand between your thighs. ‘Yeah?’
‘Yeah,’ you confirmed, and he pressed his cupped palm against you, fingers teasing through fabric. ‘We gotta get rid of some of these layers, though.’
There was a simultaneous scramble then, during which you managed to help him shed the top half of his suit, and he tore off everything you were wearing far too easily.
You grazed his cheek with the backs of your fingers, and he leaned into it, starved, and in his eyes, undeserving.
His stomach flipped as your fingertips toyed with his hair. He was topless beside you, and you reached for his face first? Not his bare chest or abs? His eyes stung as he bit back the threat of tears.
‘That’s better,’ he hummed, distracting himself by resuming his previous position, thick fingers sliding between your folds.
‘Please,’ you gasped, trying to rock against his palm.
He liked that. A pang of guilt bubbled low in his gut again, but arousal washed it away when your fingers circled his wrist and clenched around it.
‘Jesus, you’re wet,’ he said. It was husky, and just surprised enough for you to notice.
Did he really expect you not to be?
‘All for you, bub,’ you replied playfully.
The smile dropped from your lips as he shifted from casually circling his slicked up finger over your clit to sliding a finger inside.
Logan watched closely, the way your eyes fluttered closed and your cheeks powdered red, the way your breath fell from between your parted lips in hungry little pants.
You felt warm and familiar, and his dick throbbed as he curled his finger inside you, deliberate and precise. His head dropped to the crook of your neck and he clenched his jaw to keep from nuzzling there.
‘Gonna cum for me?’ he panted, hot against your throat.
‘Gonna- ah!- f-fuck me?’ you managed between heaving breaths.
Logan didn’t answer, just chuckled against you as he fucked his finger into you faster, and lifted his head in time to watch you unravel, his eyes alight with wonder and arousal.
He didn’t rush you as you came down from your back-arching high, he simply slowed the movements of his hand. The aftershocks of your climax clenched deliciously around his finger as he massaged you down, relishing in every squeeze.
He still had it.
‘Still want me after… what do they call it these days? Post-nut clarity?’ he asked, trying hard to sound unbothered, but you heard the way his voice cracked with doubt.
‘More than ever.’
He dropped his forehead to yours as he carefully eased his finger out, relishing in the small whine that told him you felt empty without it.
‘Mmh, you feel so good,’ he dared admit as he lined himself up and gradually pushed inside to give you time to adjust, ‘so warm, so wet- oh fuck-’
You were glad he’d removed his mask. As much as the sweet burn of his cock stretching you had you clawing at his back, the blissed out look on his face was making your toes curl the most.
He rolled his hips so slowly you thought he must be holding back, being too cautious, either with you or for his own performance. Either way it didn’t matter, it was so different from what you’d expected your core throbbed.
‘You won’t break me,’ you whispered, ‘I’m yours, however you want.’
‘Feels good just like this,’ he all but whimpered, hiding his face at your shoulder again groaning, low and drawn out while his fingertips dragged over the parts of you he could reach.
He gazed down at you through those tired eyes, no longer bothering to fight the tears that slipped from the corners.
‘Come for me,’ you breathed, and somehow it was the most romantic thing he’d ever heard.
With a low groan rumbling from his chest, he snapped his hips, once, twice. Three uneven, hurried thrusts and he roared, fists strategically moving the mattress either side of you as his claws extended with a muffled snikt! as he emptied inside you.
He pumped you so full that his release dripped back out, hot and thick around his softening cock and onto the sheets beneath.
‘Fuck-’ he growled, collapsing beside you.
. ۫ ꣑ৎ .
You woke a few hours later, resting on his chest, and glanced up at him.
Logan was still awake, deep in thought. He huffed.
‘What is it?’ you yawned, pushing yourself up to get a proper look at him. You assumed you’d wake to him long gone with his seed drying on your thigh, but he was very much still here.
‘Just… don’t tell anyone, alright?’ he said, as if imparting a secret.
‘Tell them what?’
‘Yknow. That I-’
‘That you’re secretly a big softie and you fuck good? Yeah, ok,’ you mocked, ‘my lips are sealed. So long as you keep the mask on next time.’
Logan shot you a withering look and with a subtle smirk pulling at one corner of his mouth, closed his eyes as you settled back against his chest.

@schemmentits here it is! the last part! i really hope y’all enjoyed this as much as i do!
The Aspiring Teachers Program
Part 10 WC:~1.2k
No one had seen the questioning glance you had given Janine at the nickname that you had only told her about, and the slight nod she had given in return. She had hoped that you understood what she was trying to tell you. When you abruptly left, she was confident you had.
You walked as quickly as you could without running, and darted into your classroom. Could Melissa be… Em? No… could she? Your head was spinning. What kind of twist in fate would it be for you to fall in love with the same woman twice?
You had dreamed and daydreamed of so many scenarios of how you and Em would meet again, and somehow none of them looked like this. You were so confused.
You had managed to make your way to your desk, setting the food down, and you dropped into your chair. This didn’t make any sense. There’s no way Em- ‘Melissa?’ -wouldn’t have recognized Ronny. You had dyed your hair this color and that, and over the years your weight had fluctuated, so, sure, you could forgive her not recognizing you. But, Ronny? There was no way!
Last week, at the Institute, you had thought it was odd that Barb and Melissa had disappeared as quickly as they had appeared after finding Jamir. You chocked it up to the women being deep in conversation and wanting to continue it in privacy. When Ava, who Janine had woken once she realized Jamir was missing, had taken off after them, you questioned it slightly, but not enough to care. It was when Janine had slipped into the room after the three other women that you were insanely curious. So you had spent the last week grilling every single one of them about it, but no one budged. Now you knew.
Melissa had known who you were, who you really were, for a week! You tried to grapple with what that meant. She didn’t want this, didn’t want you, anymore. She had literally given you Ronny! That seemed like a sort of promise, didn’t it? If you had supposedly fallen in love with a woman at the incorrect time in your life, promised said woman a future as you walked out on her, and then found out that the woman who had been working with you, flirting with you, clearly showing feelings for you for at least the past year was THAT woman, you’d would march right up to her and kiss her like your life depended on it.
You didn’t have any more time to try and sort your thoughts, as Melissa appeared in the doorway. You jumped up, taking a few steps toward her. “You knew!” You glared at the redhead, for the first time in your life, you think. She looked guilty, rightfully so, but only for a moment before she was striding towards you.
Before you knew what was happening, she had a hand on the side of your face, pulling your lips to meet hers, her other hand coming to rest on your hip. Even if you had tried, you couldn’t help the way you melted into her. Your anger dissipated, mostly. You kissed her back with every ounce of emotion and love that had bubbled inside you, from that week with Em to this very moment with Melissa. Knowing now that they were one and the same, you felt that this had to be some kind of sign.
Melissa pulled her face away from yours, much to your dismay. You were very aware that she didn’t seem to be planning on moving either of her hands. “I’m sorry,” she looked deeply into your eyes. “For everything. Leaving you in Chicago, not telling you that night at the Institute, not kissin’ you that night, not kissin’ you a year ago.” She chuckled softly before getting a serious look on her face. “I mean it. I was… scared a year ago, and then when I realized that you were my little Parent Trap,” you blushed at her nostalgic nickname. “I was scared that if ya found out that I’m Em, you’d never wanna talk ta me again.”
“Melissa,” you laughed out softly, leaning into the hand still resting on your cheek. “I went home after that week, broke up with my high school sweetheart, and threw myself into studying to become a teacher because I knew that was my best chance to find you again.” You didn’t miss the slight gasp that came from her, or the way her eyes widened just slightly. “And then, uh, remember that development day that Gritty showed up because Janine scheduled him for the wrong day?”
Melissa nodded, and she was looking at you like you might be the only thing keeping her alive, so you continued.
“I knew I was in love with you, again,” you smiled at the memory of that day. “When you and Barb were so concerned for her after finding out about her tickets, I saw how much you care about her, and you, Barb, and Gritty talking her through her breakup, and I- I realized that for the first time, I was considering moving on from that week in Chicago, for you.”
Melissa closed her eyes, and you imagined the gears turning in her mind as she realized just how long the two of you had danced around the chemistry between you. She only opened them for a moment, just long enough to close the distance between your faces once more. This kiss was far more gentle, but no less full of desperation from a love gone long unfulfilled.
When she pulled away this time, she smiled at you and said, “I believe I owe you at least a date, huh?”
You had put in years of studying and student teaching to get your degree in teaching and months of sucking up to your boss to get a transfer to Philly, all that hard work, on the off chance that you would find the woman who had stolen your heart back in the Program. You must have had a whole lot of luck, or maybe Janine was right and this was destiny, to be here in Melissa’s arms.
You answered by pulling her back in for a gentle kiss, and whispering, “Duh,” against her lips.
After you both had come to the realization that you had to finish your respective workdays, Melissa pulled away. She took a couple steps back before speaking again. “Can we see where this goes? Just you and me? I don’t want Ava or Pipsqueak all up in my business, ya know?”
Before you could warn her that the two women she had just mentioned, along with Barb, were standing in the doorway, Ava called out, “It’s too late for that, Melissa! You threw that option out the window last week!”
Melissa sighed, with a smile, of course, and just shook her head softly as Janine squealed in excitement.
“I knew it! Destiny wins every time!” She was about to say something else when the bell rang, telling everyone that lunch was officially over. Melissa lingered behind, waiting for the three others to leave before she turned back to you.
“I never had- There wasn’t anybody since-” She looked as though she was searching for the words, so you waited patiently. After a moment, she continued, “You were the first person I was considering seriously datin’ since, well, you, Parent Trap.”
“Oh, Melissa. That’s- I had given up on finding Em, willing to pursue something with you,” you admitted with a smile, butterflies invading your stomach from her nickname from all those years ago.
You were going to have to have a conversation with Janine because you think you might be starting to believe in destiny.

WAITER! WAITER! Need me different era leons reacting to reader starting sobbing during rather chill argument. Idk if this make sense😭😭😭 i mean like if theres no fights or loud talking during the argument, leon is just complaining and being real abt it but it hurts reader bc they are sensitive and they start crying
HIII!
I actually love this, I'm the type of person to cry out of anger and super sensitive LMAO! I hope you enjoy <3
Warnings: Arguments, comfort, GN! Reader
RE2:
You weren't really sure where the argument had come from at first, the day had seemingly turned out okay at first until you both got home
Maybe he was just overwhelmed from adjusting back to normality after the 2 years training
But it didn't mean he needed to pick at your outfit or just get annoyed at you in general
You tried not to let it get to you but after his 3rd comment you broke
His complaints weren't meant to be taken to heart but he forgot about how sensitive you were. How you haven't been through what he has
He's quick to change his tone, one that's more soothing and comfortable as he eases you.
Whispering sweet nothings in your ear, pressing you as close to him as he can in a hug to ensure you calm down with scent of him
He will apologize don't worry
RE4R:
It was barely an argument more of a disagreement over chosing the film to watch
He wasn't listening to why you wanted to watch your comfort film. Why today was hard so watching the horror he has lined up was not good
It was a short comment, one that you wouldn't have been bothered about normally but today you felt extra fragile
When he hears your sniffles he freezes in place it goes straight to his heart
He's smothering you with his love and affection because he feels bad, the comfort film is on and you won't be leaving his arms until he is sure you are okay
Infinite Darkness:
He's stressed at work, it's not his fault he's slightly short with you
And it's not your fault you didn't read his tone very well
He wasn't angry at you rather complaining about an ache he couldn't shake since his last mission
When offering ways to help he snapped saying that he could deal with it on his own
you didn't take offense to it understanding his need to be independent but it struck a nerve causing you to tear up
It only made it worse when he started to apologize and cuddle like you deserved it
You did. It wasn't your fault but somehow you wired your brain to think you made it worse for him
When you start sobbing he's moving faster to make sure you calm down, he knows your over reaction also isn't your fault and he should know to word his sentences differently
Damnation:
He didn't really notice that there was an off tone in his voice so he also didn't notice you were upset until he heard your sniffles
I think he would be confused at first a bit reluctant to give you the affection you needed to calm down but he's genuinely confused
He wasn't angry just annoyed at something and you are acting like he's stabbed your family member
Eventually he does comfort you and it's a long intimite comfort session.
I'm talking cuddling and running his fingers through your hair. He would apologise as well, its only a small gruff one but he knows your reaction isn't your fault.
He find it's cute how much you care, despite it being overwhelming sometimes.
RE6:
Again he relieves Raccoon City again almost within the events of the game
He keeps most of his composure until he gets home
You get the brunt of his anger and frustrations. Having to tip toe around him as he relives trauma.
It's not until you see he only acts this way with you that you snap. You can't help it you are angry with how he's treating you
I feel like hell attempt to come up with some bs that he's just that comfortable with you he shows a different side but he's not even falling himself
Promises to work on it and you have some understanding of his situation
You will get kisses and cuddles after
Vendetta:
He's a mess, you know it, I know it
So he's going to be snappy, short or even just not himself
He's really struggling at this point so when you do snap I think he's going to respond negatively at first
As he sees you grow more sensitive he will start to feel bad and it's actually his apology that makes you cry
The idea that even in his struggles he still cares about what you think is enough to make you cry
He's sorry for being a dick but also just confused at how him simply admitting that is enough for you to cry
Death Island:
Not in a harsh way but he would start to laugh, only because he finds it so cute
He's reassuring you that he's not actually angry his tone just doesn't always match his words or the joke doesn't come out the way he wanted it
His laugh makes you laugh and helps calm you down
I imagine he's very good at distracting you from everything that made you upset. A stable wall for you to use in order to calm down.

Donna's hands slipped under your uniform, untying the ties that held it to your body while you worked on the buttons of the blouse of her dress. Your head spun and the excitement was overwhelming.
Determined to leave behind anything that would interrupt the moment, you broke free from your thoughts when your hands brushed her skin, when your fingers unclasped her bra with a quick movement.
Donna began to become wild, dominant, as if the simple act of claiming you, of making love to you, reminded her that you were one step closer to stop being Cassandra's, to being only hers.
After all, feeling like you were hers wasn't the same as being so. Donna knew that, and it tormented her.
A few intense kisses on your neck brought you back to reality, making you moan, close your eyes, and forget about your worries. Her lips felt soft on your skin, her teeth barely grazed you, but made you tremble.
“D-Donna, b-be careful,” you said, making the brunette move away from your neck to slide her hands under your legs and lift you romantically, placing you gently on the bed.
“Mm?” she murmured distractedly, bringing her hips closer to yours, making you notice her imprisoned erection pressing against your body and forcing you to emit an involuntary moan.
“N-not the neck, okay? You could leave a mark on me and Ca…” you said with a slightly clearer voice, putting your hands on her shoulders and causing her expression to suddenly harden.
“Shut up,” Donna snapped at you with a cold, angry look, hitting the mattress with her fist. “D-Don't say her name,” she hissed, looking away and accelerating her breathing.
You rushed to fix things as best you could: cupping her face in your hands.
“Shh, darling, forgive me, I didn't mean… Donna, my love, I'm sorry, okay?” you said tenderly, to which the lady closed her eye and let the air out of her lungs slowly.
“I know, I… It's just that I…” she stammered without looking directly at you.
“Come here,” you said, bringing your lips closer to hers, kissing the lady to distract her from the uncomfortable truth of the situation, one that seemed increasingly difficult for the doll maker to assimilate.
The insecurities were silenced with the wet sounds of your kisses, with gasps and sighs that increased with each look, word, whisper, caress…
Your hands sought the warmth of her pale skin, her perfect breasts, her arousal struggling to free itself from the black fabric of her underwear… That was more than enough for Donna to roar anxiously, grabbing your legs and freeing her shaft, bringing it closer to your wetness.
Donna was in a hurry, her body was in a hurry to claim you and her thrusts began to move your body while you closed your eyes, noticing how your walls stretched and pleasure began to invade you.
Your hands moved erratically as she claimed your body desperately, moaning in a very low voice, grunting every time she felt you squeeze her. They were quick movements, but when you opened your eyes you felt relief; relief to see her eyes looking at you as always, with love, with tenderness, in a way Cassandra never did.
You could have lost yourself in her perfectly controlled thrusts, in all the sensations that ran through your body, but something prevented you from doing so, forcing you to focus, to finish that forbidden act as soon as possible.
“Ti amo, (Y/N),” the lady whispered, stopping to kiss you slowly, to check that her haste, her eagerness wasn’t hurting you.
“I love you, Donna,” you answered, with a melancholic smile. “D-Don't stop, please.”
She obeyed with a timid nod, resuming her movements as she separated your legs even further, taking absolute control.
The moans, the creaks of the bed accompanied your feelings until the pleasure was too intense, releasing an orgasm, revealing that your body was ready to enjoy the woman you loved, without thinking about anything else.
Her release came soon after, warming your body, caressing your walls in a wet and lustful way. Afterwards, Donna pulled away with a grunt, lying down beside you to begin your favorite part of those visits.
Yes, sex was incredible, but what you really enjoyed were those moments embraced, naked, those tender smiles of Lady Beneviento looking at you, those kisses soaked with the sweat of the effort of loving you… Yes, that was your favorite part.
After a few comforting moments of silence, you inched closer to her naked body, burying your head in her chest as her delicate hands lovingly caressed your hair.
“I could lose myself in your arms,” you whispered, your voice hoarse from the passion that seemed to still reverberate off the bedroom walls.
Donna laughed softly, pulling you closer to kiss your forehead, to brush your hair away from your face as you sighed. You wondered if maybe that was her favorite part too.
Your hands tangled together, absentmindedly playing with each other as the lady in black hummed an unfamiliar tune. Your gaze focused on her soft, fine hands, contrasting with the roughness of yours.
“You know? I find incredible that we have come to this…” you sighed, losing yourself again in her gaze. “I remember the first time I came… You closed the door in my face…”
“Mm, it's true,” the brunette said, amused, with a touch of shame in her voice. “I wasn't used to visits.”
“Oh,” you continued joking, sensually bringing your lips closer to hers, without kissing them, leaving the lady frustrated, teasing her.
“Now I can't live without them,” she answered, thus beginning a fight of kisses.
“Donna,” you said, trying to get away from her addictive lips with amusement.
“(Y/N),” she said shortly after, sitting on the bed and looking away from you for a moment.
“What's wrong?” you asked, noticing how her body separated from yours, creating a horrible feeling of cold and abandonment on your skin.
“Mm, niente, io…”
“Hey! Are you done yet?! Angie doesn't like to be alone…” A sing-song voice sounded from behind the door, breaking that tense calm, that moment of lucidity from the lady in black, those words, which, surely, would start a conversation that you didn't feel like having, not that day.
“Angie…” Donna hissed, shaking her head and rolling her eye. “Go away!”
“I don't want to! Come here now! I'm bored!” the doll shrieked, with a mocking melody in her voice.
You laughed at the doll's always irreverent attitude, and at the embarrassment that it produced in its owner.
Donna looked at you and her smile also widened, joining you in a tender and soft laugh, resting her forehead against yours.
“I’m sorry, (Y/N), you know the way she is,” she said amused, shaking her head and tucking a lock of hair behind your ear.
“Poor Angie,” you mocked in a low voice while the doll tried to get your attention with soft knocks on the door. “Besides, I…” you said, immediately staying quiet.
“What?” the lady asked, suddenly nervous, her gaze reflecting the fear of hearing that phrase, the phrase that always stabbed a knife deep into her heart.
“It's late and…” you whispered unsure, looking away and uncovering yourself, searching for your clothes. “I have, I have to…”
“Don't say it, please,” Donna interrupted, shaking her head, grabbing your wrist.
“I'm sorry, Donna, but I have to go,” you finally said, disobeying that silent plea, making her hand gently leave your skin. “It's going to get dark.”
“But, but,” the woman said, shaking her head and searching in her mind for an excuse, some words to make you reconsider your decision.
It wasn't really a decision. Your heart ached at the thought, knowing how much it hurt Donna to see you leaving, something that was becoming more and more difficult.
In silence, you both dressed again, without looking at each other, without doing or saying anything. The tension slowly increased; a tension that couldn't be dispelled with an apology or an empty promise, not anymore.
“Can I brush your hair?” Donna asked in a whisper as you looked at yourself in the vanity, searching for a mark, anything that could give you away to your true owner.
You nodded, letting her take a brush and gently run it through your hair as you both looked at each other in the mirror. Her bright eye betrayed regret, sadness, and yours betrayed lack of sleep, tiredness, laziness…
It was an overwhelming sight, but somehow it had its own sparkle. She was at your side, her beauty accompanying you, her hands caressing you as she gently combed your hair. Donna was with you, and that made you feel complete.
“Are you two deaf!? I'm here...” the doll joked, but without causing the same laughter as before.
It was a sad moment, the only moment you hated when you were with Donna.
“(Y/N), you don't have to do it,” Donna said softly, checking the result of her movements in the mirror and bending down slowly, surrounding your waist with her arms. “Please, stay with me a little longer, please.”
“You know I can't.” It was all you managed to say, shaking your head and pushing her hands away as you got up from the chair.
“We could play chess, or, or I could teach you to cook my recipes… Or maybe we could read in silence, with the fireplace sheltering us from the cold and…” the brunette insisted, pulling your body back, holding you tighter again.
“I can't, Donna,” you said, moving away abruptly, regretting it instantly. “Don't make it more difficult for me, my love…”
“You make it difficult for me,” she replied, giving some room and moving away. “You don't know what it's like to see you leaving every week, to see you going back to… to her,” she whispered with a cold look, with her teeth clenched.
“Donna,” you reprimanded, cupping her face in your hands, fearing that the tension would suddenly explode, embittering the moment. “I'll be back, you know I always do.”
“What if one day you don't?” she asked, grabbing your wrists, hurting you.
“Honey, please let me go,” you said in a calm voice, being released instantly. “I promise I'll be back. You're the only thing that makes my life worth living.”
“But, tesoro...” she insisted, grabbing your wrists again, this time more gently. “Io...”
“Shh...” you hissed, putting two fingers on her lips before kissing them softly, noticing the salty taste of a tear that came out of your eyes involuntarily. “Donna...”
“(Y/N), don't leave,” the brunette said again, lowering her gaze, blinking erratically.
“I'll be back, darling,” you repeated like a mantra that relaxed, but at the same time, distressed you.
Finally the lady in black nodded, keeping her hand in yours, but accepting the reality.
With a passionate kiss, you pulled away from her, walking towards the bedroom door, something you couldn't do, as her grip refused to let you go.
“Donna, please...” you said, increasingly nervous, pulling on her arm. “Donna, let me go.”
She did so with an angry growl and a dark expression, turning to give you her back, making her dress dance hypnotically as she sat at the vanity, unable to watch you walk away.
“Just be patient, my love,” you said quietly, opening the bedroom door, not wanting to wait for an answer.
“It's about time! Let's play!” Angie shrieked as she saw you walk past her. “Hey, silly, are you leaving?”
“I'm sorry Angie, but I have to go back to the castle,” you said, putting on your coat, refusing to look back.
A loud noise startled you: Donna's fist hitting the vanity furiously. It was time to leave, you couldn't leave her like that, but you had to.
“Cazzo!” the brunette shrieked as she hit the furniture over and over again.
“Oops,” Angie sighed, looking at you accusingly. “It's your fault, silly.”
“I, I just…” you said sobbing, knowing that you couldn't even help her, that you couldn't stay to ease her madness. “I-I have to go…”
“Yes, go! I'll fix your mess, like always!” the doll scolded you, walking gracefully towards the bedroom. “Donna, Donna, don't do that... Donna...”
The brunette's screams and sobs echoed in the walls until you went up the elevator, turning them off like the end of a movie, the end of a melancholic symphony that split your soul in two.
“I'm sorry... I'm so sorry, my love,” you sighed quietly, closing your eyes and walking automatically towards the exit, towards the cold of that place, far from the comfort and warmth of your lover's arms.
Born and raised in that forgotten village, your future was written. You couldn't be what you wanted, but what you had to be. Being just another maid was your destiny, and you had no choice but to accept it.
The castle always gladly hired any young girl who was willing to work, to serve its mistress, but the work wasn't as hard as you expected.
Alcina Dimitrescu was an imposing woman, but elegant and even kind. Little by little you got used to being there, to sharing your existence with the lady of the castle and her daughters, who, on the contrary, didn't have much in common with their mother.
Crazy, free and unhinged, yes, that seemed like a correct statement for the three Dimitrescu sisters. Bela, Cassandra and Daniela were like mischievous agents of chaos who broke the harmony and elegance of that place.
After a year working in the castle, things improved before getting worse. One of the three sisters, Cassandra, seemed to have some interest in you. You never thought that those three creatures had interests beyond blood and chaos, but for a moment, you thought you were wrong.
She approached you, laughing evilly, looking at you while you did everyday chores. Habit made your body miss those eyes when they weren't looking at you, miss that laugh when there was only silence in the castle.
An "I like you", a slight blush on her cheeks and a quick kiss were the closest thing to a confession of love that came out of her lips.
Scared by her presence, and despite yourself, attracted, you let her lips kiss yours, you let your body experience what it was like to kiss chaos itself, and you liked it.
Little by little you began to feel that beyond the blood there was a heart beating desperately for your attention, that those looks and laughs were the expression and confirmation that even the daughters of a Lord were capable of love.
You lived happily for a while. Cassandra paid attention to you, all the maids began to respect you and even the lady of the castle granted you certain privileges for, according to her, having captured the interest of her daughter.
You were in a dream, in a fairy tale. You became a wandering smile that began to see the light at the end of her dark future. But it didn't take long for you to realize that fairy tales were just that, tales.
When you couldn't be more in love, Cassandra began to lose interest. Maybe if you had opened your eyes earlier, you wouldn't be in that situation.
But your eyes needed to see what your intuition was saying, and so it happened. You saw that the suspicions your mind was screaming at you were true.
Cassandra said you were hers, she did, but she had no qualms about flirting with other maids, whispering in their ears, chasing them down the halls, and, of course, not being careful that you didn't see her.
You believed, she said, everyone thought that Cassandra Dimitrescu was your girlfriend, they really did, you really did.
But the concept of commitment and fidelity was far from the chaos inherent in the young Dimitrescu. Deep down you didn't consider that way of thinking as evil or bad-intentioned.
You knew that she didn't make you suffer on purpose, she was just like that.
You tried to bear it, not to look at the marks on the necks of other maids. You tried to ignore it, to forget that you were hers, but she would never be yours.
The pain became unbearable and the love you felt for her began to fade away.
At that moment, just when you thought your life would be a curse, that there was no other solution than to wait patiently for Cassandra to pay attention to you, you met Donna.
The first time your girlfriend asked you to take some supplies to the old estate you even thought of running away, of never coming back. That thought left your mind as soon as it arrived; you would gain nothing, and you would lose everything.
Instead, you decided to fulfill the errand and approach the old mansion.
The rest of the Lords weren’t a mystery, but shadows that you never really managed to see. Of all of them, the village especially feared the inhabitant of that old house, Lady Beneviento.
You knew what she was capable of doing, you knew that her mind was sick, seriously injured, and that she was dangerous, very dangerous. The villagers often said that they no longer feared nightmares but the lady in black.
That day you arrived there trembling with fear, only to find a woman dressed in mourning, a woman who hid her face with a black veil, a woman who didn’t speak, whose presence evoked the night and the darkness itself.
You completed your task with a kind gesture, which was answered with a soft nod and a sharp slam of the door.
Even with that brief encounter, your head began to wander, to wonder. While you were washing dishes, cleaning a hallway, or while Cassandra was taking you, you could only see that black figure and theorize what kind of creature was hiding behind that black veil.
Over time, it became increasingly difficult to get the lady out of your head, and everything got worse when those errands became frequent.
You were unable to find out anything about her, but the slamming of doors was no longer common. Instead, Donna remained silent, looking at you, as if she were studying you, as if she wanted to check that you didn’t want to hurt her.
That apparent vulnerability sparked much more interest on your part, and you began to talk, to ask, to address that stoic figure.
Little by little those conversations moved inside the mansion. Your almost childish insistence on communicating with the lady was clearly a cry for help, a cry to forget for a moment the place you had to return to, and it worked, it worked too well.
The doll stopped being her speaker and her lips uttered a word for the first time, almost a whisper, a melodic one, impregnated with a soft and attractive accent: your name.
It was impossible to resist staying a little longer, to listen to her hoarse voice a little longer, and you simply let it happen.
She offered you tea, listening to any nonsense you had to say and answering briefly but nodding with interest. You didn't know why you were so interesting to her, until you eventually realized how alone she had been all that time.
You couldn't deny that you began to feel, to notice something more inside your chest every time you approached her, every time her pale hands touched yours when she served you tea.
Without wanting to, but without stopping it, you were falling in love with the lady in black.
One day, a day of tea and chat like any other, that black veil fell. It was removed with a gentle movement of her hands. Donna trusted you. She wanted to show herself as she was because it was inevitable to deny that she also felt something for you.
Donna was the most beautiful woman you had ever seen. Her face was not stained with blood, her lips were not painted black. Her only eye shone without that yellowish evil you saw in Cassandra's. She was a truly beautiful woman.
The scar that the will of the Gods left on her face was one of her most horrible fears, one of her greatest insecurities. Her revelation was also a plea, a vote of confidence, of knowing if those feelings were worth it, or if you would end up falling off the cliff like her family did.
Your answer, your only answer, was a kiss. A tender, desperate kiss, the sudden capture of her lips with yours.
Knowing the consequences of entering someone else's territory, Donna accepted that forbidden relationship, just like you.
You may have felt these visits as an escape valve from your hardships at first, but you refused to see it that way. No, Donna wasn’t an escape from a place you didn't want to be, she was the place you wanted to be.
Yes, she was sick, she was crazy, but she was loving and attentive too. She smiled, she listened to you, she hugged you, she caressed you, she loved you.
You saw in her everything that Cassandra didn't have. You began to believe that it was what you really deserved, that Donna was yours, and you were hers.
The furtive kisses and caresses didn't last long. Something inside Donna made her resemble her adoptive family: jealousy, possessiveness.
She wasn't jealous of the world, she wasn't jealous of anyone who looked at you, she knew where the root of her sometimes abrupt and erratic behavior was: Cassandra.
Feeling displaced made her feel frustrated and, after making another confession to you, she took you for the first time.
Her face wasn't the only thing the Gods changed. Her body did too, enough to make her even more self-conscious. For you it was never a problem, for her, your natural reaction and your slightly mischievous smile was one more reason to love you madly.
For the first time in your life, you didn't squeeze your eyes shut. You didn't feel the need to repress the pain of some unpleasant scratches on your bare skin. All you felt were soft caresses, playful tickles on your skin, kisses that ran over your lips while your bodies moved anxiously.
Cassandra was the first, or so you thought until that moment. In reality, the first woman who truly loved you was Donna.
She made you feel comfortable, she gave you more pleasure than you could ever have felt, she told you she loved you, she whispered it in your ear while she took you slowly, not wanting to hurt you.
At first you felt guilty, you cried on her bare chest after your first time. A few kisses didn't mean that much to you, but having Donna inside you, making love with her for the first time, knowing what it was really like to feel loved, broke one of your emotional barriers.
Donna comforted you. She didn't scold you for having ruined that moment, for you feeling remorse. She understood you.
Time kept passing and the visits kept increasing. Any excuse was good to melt into her arms, to make love calmly or wildly, to feel like you had never felt before and to forget that you would have to return to the castle, that those arms wouldn’t always protect you.
After walking through the snow, without even realizing it, you returned to the castle. All the thoughts about how you met Donna and your miserable life with Cassandra had made your return a simple formality.
“(Y/N), you're back,” one of your companions, Irina, said. She was your best friend for a long time. Now, she was just another maid. “The lady was getting worried.”
You rolled your eyes, closing the doors and taking off your coat.
The heat of that castle, one that at first seemed pleasant to you, was uncomfortable, oppressive, and even more so after that tense moment with Donna, a tension that was increasingly common in your visits.
“I'm sure you all were very worried,” you said ironically, glancing sideways at the red mark on her neck, one that indicated that Cassandra had passed by there, probably tired of waiting for you.
The girl noticed what you were looking at and quickly covered herself with an apologetic smile.
“(Y/N), I'm sorry, she came over and…” she began to explain, making you snort and shake your head.
No, you didn't need to know what your girlfriend had done with her in your absence. It would probably be Cassandra herself who would tell you if she got bored.
“Cut the crap, Irina, I'm not interested,” you said in a dark voice, pushing the girl away with your hand.
“Yes, of course,” the young woman nodded, with an absurd bow, as if you were something more than her, as if you were a maid who has to be respected.
How ironic, not even your girlfriend respected you.
“Oh, there you are, I thought you had gotten lost, dear,” a deep and sensual voice appeared behind you, freezing your steps: Alcina Dimitrescu, lady of the castle.
“My lady,” you murmured with an elegant gesture, fearing that running away to your room and crying wasn’t going to be possible.
“You've taken your time, my dear, have you had any problems with Donna?” the tall woman asked, putting a hand on your back to gently push you to walk beside her.
“No, my lady, she...” you said, stopping to think about an answer, one that wouldn't raise more questions.
To Alcina, the relationship that seemed to exist between her daughter and you was real, pure and sincere. You didn't quite understand why Cassandra pretended in front of her mother. Maybe she was afraid of her, or maybe she was trying to protect you. You didn't want to know.
“Mm?” Alcina murmured arching her eyebrows, urging you to give an answer you didn't have.
“Well, she's had a breakdown,” you said without thinking, blaming poor Donna, blaming her mental illness.
You felt horrible for doing it, but you had no other choice. You didn't know the consequences of your mistress finding out about your affair.
“Gods…” the lady in white whispered, shaking her head. “Poor woman.”
“Um, I decided to stay with her until she was calmer. I hope I didn't overstep my bounds, my lady,” you said in a formal tone, looking down at the wooden floor, with the images of the previous passion sending confusing signals to your head.
“Oh, not at all, dear,” the woman said, with a grateful smile. “I appreciate it.”
“Thank you, my lady,” you whispered, wanting to run, to insult yourself for having lied, for having accused the woman you loved of your delay. “Excuse me, my lady, I would like to retire to my room, I fear I have caught a cold,” you lied again, looking for any clumsy excuse to get away from her, from any Dimitrescu who got in your way.
“Of course, I wouldn’t forgive myself if you got sick, but... (Y/N), when you are done, I would like to ask you something,” the vampire said, walking faster, confirming that you had gotten what you wanted, to be alone.
“Fine, my lady.”
The bath you took was a blessing. The heat penetrated your body naturally and the water eliminated any remaining evidence of your infidelity.
Feeling the sweat leave you, how her kisses disappeared from your skin in the soapy water was more painful than other times. The lavender disappeared to impose on your skin the sweet aroma of the castle soap, making you forget every single sensation you felt when making love with your lover, her smell, the humidity of her home, the mark of her fingers caressing your skin…
Love, forget, serve, pretend, that was your daily routine. You could only do one thing: wait for the next week, long for Donna's hugs, for her body warming yours.
If you could bear the situation, it was because you knew you would return to her but… for how long? Was Donna right and one day you wouldn’t return?
The days passed slowly, too slowly. What Alcina wanted to ask of you was simple, but you were deeply grateful for it. She wanted you to have the privilege of tidying up the wine cellar, a place where no maid was allowed to enter. Of course, you weren't just any maid.
The task was especially pleasant. While you were down there, you wouldn't have to look askance at the necks of other maids looking for Cassandra's mark on them, and even better: she couldn't bother you.
It was too cold in that place for her to bear, which made your stay down there even comfortable.
But of course, what seemed like an advantage, a respite, a longed-for relief in your daily life, would bring unexpected consequences.
One night, in your privileged room, the atmosphere was heavy with uncertainty and a bad feeling prevented you from thinking about Donna, from longing for her.
“Wakey, wakey…” a shrill, yet whispering voice stalked your ear as a lump slid under the sheets.
The ferrous scent of those lips gave her away and her childish laughter confirmed your fears: Cassandra.
“W-what are you doing here?” you asked, startled by the intrusion, by some uncomfortable kisses that were beginning to run down your neck.
“What? (Y/N), I'm your girlfriend, remember? I've come to see you,” the young Dimitrescu said, sensually dragging her words while she moved the fabric of your pajamas aside to look for more places to play.
“Hey, I don't want to be rude but… why now? Didn't you say you wanted to have fun with other maids?” you asked delicately, without altering or removing her lips from your skin.
“Oh, don't be like that, silly, you know you're special,” Cassandra purred, pulling you a little closer to her.
Your heart was beating fast and your conscience was screaming to be heard.
You didn't know how much time had passed since she got into your bed, since she physically claimed you, but you knew it was enough to affirm that there was no kind of intimacy between you two, not anymore.
That lack of interest in having sex with you relieved Lady Beneviento. Knowing that you would never be physically hers again served as a consolation every time you had to leave. You promised her you would never sleep with Cassandra again.
Of course, to make that promise was a mistake. Chaos couldn’t be predicted, and you should have known that better than anyone.
“So you suddenly remembered that I exist?” you asked again, pushing her away, just as her teeth sank into your skin, making you hiss in pain. “I thought you weren't having fun with me anymore.”
“Don't be a whiner, (Y/N). I want to take you,” she said, climbing on top of your body, dominating you with kisses that weren't reciprocated, at least not voluntarily. “Hey! Why aren't you paying attention to me? Oh, you're not mad because I had fun with Irina, are you?”
“No, but…” you denied nervously, stopping her hands from scratching your skin under your pajamas while her hips moved anxiously. “Listen, Cass, I'm really tired and…”
“What's wrong? Has Mother made you work too much?” the young woman asked, it almost seemed like she cared about you.
“No, not at all, but I would prefer that…” you murmured, fleeing from her kisses and provoking a childish moan from the vampire.
“Hey, don't move! What are you doing? Are you rejecting me?” she asked impatiently, analyzing your gaze as if she could see behind it.
“No, I...” you said, containing the trembling of your body, the irrational fear that direct question and the answer your heart had produced in you.
Even though Donna was your lover and Cassandra was your girlfriend, you didn't feel infidelity in that way. Letting Cassandra take you was much worse than having sex with Donna. It was cheating on the only person who truly mattered to you.
Breaking your promise was for you the worst of deceptions, a betrayal of the doll maker's trust, a true infidelity.
But the pressure of those chaotic eyes looking at you, demanding answers, answers that would please her, made you forget any attempt to refuse and you simply sighed, staying silent.
“That's better, hun, hun,” the young Dimitrescu laughed, amused, breaking the straps of your nightgown with a quick movement and insisting on sucking, licking, biting your skin.
You closed your eyes so as not to see, but you couldn't help but feel. Every scratch, kiss or movement was terribly painful. She was having fun, but you only suffered, you could only think about Donna, that every second that passed, every hysterical moan that came out of Cassandra's lips, was one more stab in Donna's heart.
You could only act in that way, reciprocate, obey and let yourself go.
None of Cassandra's movements unleashed pleasure in you. Her kisses weren’t hot; they didn’t provoke sensations like Donna's did. Cassandra’s fingers inside you didn't feel like Donna’s erection sliding comfortably into your walls.
It was a rough act. You just wanted it to be over soon, for Cassandra to get what she wanted, and leave you alone.
Luckily, she didn't take long.
After noticing her absence, you ran to your private bathroom naked, looking at the marks your girlfriend left on your body, washing your hands, your face, everything her lips had touched. Unlike when you took a bath after seeing Donna, that time you hoped that the smell of blood and Cassandra's perfume would disappear from your skin.
You rubbed your arms, your neck, your lips, but it didn't disappear; she couldn't disappear from you.
Crying, you went back to bed, looking for a new nightgown to spend the night in, searching for some memories with Donna that would make you forget what you had done.
But that wasn't the worst. The worst thing was that the next morning you would have to go back to the Beneviento estate, you would have to see your lover.
You thought you had the strength to do it, to force her to close her eye while she made love to you and ignore the new details of your body.
You knew you couldn't do it, you just knew it.
“I've missed you...” Donna whispered when her arms protected you again, when her lips rested on yours again. “Tesoro...”
“Me too,” you answered, letting that romantic hug comfort your wounded conscience and make you forget what happened the night before. “Um, um... Donna...” you said unsure.
“Mm?” she asked, brushing your hair away from your face as she always did, smiling at having you in her arms again.
“I was thinking… that… that…” you stammered, deciding that maybe you should suppress your desires and not have sex, at least that day. “Well, the other day you told me that you wanted to play chess or teach me your recipes… how about now?”
“I thought that before…” she murmured, looking at you confused, blinking erratically. “I would like to make you mine first, tesoro.”
“Yes, well, I know, but it's that… well, it's that… I'm on those days, you know, and…” you lied without knowing how to do it, causing the lady in black to frown, suspicious of your words.
“Oh, you're talking about your period… I-I don't remember the last time I… well, I…” Donna hesitated nervously, with a slight blush on her cheeks, cheeks that you caressed amused.
“Don't be nervous, my love,” you joked, whispering in her ear, inevitably biting her earlobe. “Just think about it. It will be much better when I come back next week.”
“Mm.” She nodded unsurely, playing with your hair, with an air of disappointment in her eye. “Fine, let's do something different.”
“Good…” you said, sighing in relief, perhaps too relieved. “How about chess?” you proposed, clapping your hands in the air and approaching the corner where you used to have tea.
“Va bene,” the lady answered, smiling distrustfully.
“Hey! Chess? Come on! Let's play hide and seek!” Angie protested, comically tugging at your dress as you walked.
“Angie, lasciala estare,” her owner ordered, making the doll cross her arms with a snort.
“Hey! What happened to you?” Angie asked, pointing at you, pointing at your neck.
The puppet's tugs had shifted your uniform dangerously, revealing a red mark on your neck, one you wanted to hide.
“For Gods’ sake, Angie, shut up...” you growled, moving your clothes to hide the mark, something that of course didn't deter Donna from slowly approaching, removing the fabric again with a moan of shock.
“What's that?” she asked.
“What's what?” you asked back, nervous.
“I-it was her, wasn't it? She wasn't supposed to touch you anymore,” Donna murmured, clenching her fists on either side of her hips. “You promised me she wouldn't touch you anymore!”
You closed your eyes, feeling the pain of guilt, the sadness of a broken promise.
“Donna, it's not what it seems, I…”
“It's exactly what it seems, (Y/N),” she said, hissing, getting dangerously close to you and grabbing your arm tightly. “You fucked her.”
Vulgar words didn't usually come out of her mouth, Lady Beneviento was losing her mind, and that time, she was right.
“You don't understand, it's not what you think, I don't…”
“Lie to me again, come on,” Donna threatened, with a hatred in her gaze that made you shudder.
“What did you want me to do?” you protested, crossing your arms, letting a childish defensive attitude take over you. “Do you think I had another option?”
“There's always another option,” she added, shaking her head. “You told me that there was nothing physical between you two anymore.”
“You don't understand, Donna.”
“I don't understand? You've fucked her, you promised me that...”
“You think it's easy?! Huh?!” you yelled, frantic. “What right do you have to judge what I do? You don't know how things are.”
Donna laughed sarcastically, with her eye wide open and her knuckles white from the pressure.
“You're right, I don't know how things are, I don't know what happens when you leave, when you go with her,” the lady in black murmured, pointing at you with her finger, her breathing becoming more and more agitated. “But it's quite clear.”
She turned her back on you, but you grabbed her shoulder, which was pushed away with a grunt and a quick movement from the brunette. You desperately tried to reassure her, to make her understand that the night when Cassandra played with you didn't mean anything.
“Listen to me, Donna, please,” you said in a less brusque, more pleading tone. “It didn't mean anything, I didn't enjoy it, I didn't want to, I…”
“Shut up! Cazzo… shut up, shut up, shut up!” Donna shrieked as she kicked the floor furiously.
“Donna, you're scaring me,” you sighed, moving away from her little by little. “If you'd just let me explain…”
“I don't want to hear your explanations!” she shrieked again. “You've deceived me, you're a bitch.”
Anger and helplessness forced you to act irrationally, slapping the lady in black, causing a painful silence to reign in the old house.
“Shit, I…” you said regretfully, trying to get closer to her again. “I didn't mean to, I couldn't… Donna, I…”
The words tried to come out of your mouth, but you weren't successful, you had reached a dangerous limit, you were walking on the edge of a cliff, and the only hand that could save you was further away than ever.
Donna stared at you, mouth agape, with a hand on her cheek, without saying anything, transmitting all her hatred with a look, one that you would never, ever forget.
“Get out of my house,” the lady murmured, looking away from you while you looked at your hand, shaking your head. “Sei una bugiarda! I don't want to see you again!”
“Donna, please, listen to me, I beg you,” you pleaded, grabbing her shaking arm, being pushed away by a rough push that almost made you lose your balance.
“Don't touch me, bitch,” she hissed in an even darker voice. “You broke your promise... Get out of my house! Get out, get out, get out!”
“Donna, Gods...” you sobbed, shaking your head as she walked towards you threateningly.
It was the first time you were afraid of her, truly afraid.
“Donna, please...” you stammered, being grabbed by the arm and letting yourself be led towards the exit.
The lady pushed you, making you fall into the snow.
“Donna! Don't treat her like that! You're stupid, listen to her!” Angie protested, hiding behind a piece of furniture, avoiding the wrath of her owner.
“I thought we were something, that I was something to you,” the lady in black growled, with her hair moved by the winter wind, while you checked that you hadn't been hurt.
“You are, I, I love you...” you said with difficulty, shaking the snow off your body. “Donna, I love you.”
“Liar! Liar, liar, liar!” the lady screamed, stamping her feet again, out of her mind, completely mad, slamming the door shut with a thunderous noise that echoed in the mountains.
“Donna…” you sobbed, tears warming your cheeks.
Just as you expected, it was all over. You had broken your promise, you had condemned yourself to a life without Donna, without the only thing that kept you fighting, and it was all because of you, because of the fear of being brave, of confronting Cassandra, of asking the lady in black to take you in her arms, and rescue you.
That fleeting thought that maybe Donna would come for you, to fight for you, was the last hope that kept you going the following days, but she wasn't going, she wasn't there, there was only you, alone, with a woman who didn't love you, with the only one who did betrayed by your lies, by an infidelity that Donna wouldn't be able to forgive.
“Remember to label the wine correctly, (Y/N),” Alcina said, on one of the endless afternoons in the winery.
What was once a refuge became a prison, one in which you would be alone, far from Cassandra, but with your thoughts and regrets as your only company.
You were no longer the same. Your complexion had turned pale, dark circles adorned your sickly presence, since, at night, your only protection against your girlfriend was to keep the window open, to let the cold in.
Over time you became a ghost of what you were, the ghost of another ghost, a long and sad shadow that didn’t want to see the light if Donna was not next to you.
Alcina's soft voice caught your attention, but unfortunately you could only emit a sad sob. It was getting harder and harder for you to pretend, to act as if you hadn't lost anything, as if everything you wanted and needed was in that castle, and not behind the forest, in the old Beneviento Estate.
“Yes, my lady,” you murmured, earning a serious look from the lady in white, who left a bottle on the table, walking towards you slowly, threateningly.
“My dear... I can't help but feel that something is wrong with you,” she said in a low voice, putting a large hand on your shoulder, forcing you to hide the tear that was welling up in one of your eyes.
“No, my lady, everything is fine,”
No, nothing was fine. Without Donna, nothing would ever be fine.
“You lie terribly,” Alcina sighed shaking her head and pulling your wrist to bring you closer to her. “Gods, look at those dark circles under your eyes, you look awful, dear.”
“I'm sorry, my lady.”
“Tell me (Y/N), has Cassandra done something bad to you?” she asked, making you be alert again.
She had never asked such a thing, your nerves were about to explode.
“Of course not, my lady,” you answered with a false smile, which tightened her grip even more while she frowned, knowing, being convinced that, again, you were lying.
“You know I hate lies, young lady, now, you are going to dry your tears and tell me…”
“Sorry, my lady,” a saving voice appeared in the cellar, making the lady of the castle growl, making her finally let you go.
“Damn it, Olga, you know that you are completely forbidden to come down here,” Alcina protested, putting her hands on her hips.
“I'm sorry, my lady, but it's just that…” the girl apologized, looking down, with her hands shaking in front of her body.
“It's just that what!?” your mistress shouted, echoing off the old walls, causing you to automatically shrink.
“Lady Beneviento is here, my lady,” the maid explained, as best she could, with her voice trembling, just like her body.
Lady Beneviento. That name made you look up quickly, your eyes suddenly opened and you let out an involuntary gasp that caught Alcina's attention for a moment, making her look at you out of the corner of her eye.
“Donna,” you whispered.
Luckily, you managed to avoid your boss's inquisitive gaze by turning around and pretending to place the bottles correctly.
“Gods, why did it take you so long to say it? You are more and more useless every day,” the tall woman protested, rubbing her eyes with contempt.
“Sorry, my lady,” Olga apologized again, pointing to the stairs. “What do I do?”
“What?” Alcina insisted, with an arrogant tone. “Has she told you what she wants?”
“W-Well, her doll was talking about some unfinished business but…” the maid murmured, making you freeze in place.
Had she come for you? Would that be possible? No, it couldn't be, she hated you. She kicked you out of her house…
“Oh, I understand,” the lady in white sighed, with a soft laugh, but looking at you out of the corner of her eye again. “Always so shy… Gods, what does it cost her to call me to say that she wants to have dinner with me? Anyway, tell the others to prepare food for one more person.”
“Yes, my lady”
“And you… go for a dress, dear, we have visitors,” she said looking at you with a different sparkle in her eyes.
“My lady, I…” you said trembling, not wanting to face Donna, not wanting to be in her presence. Not in that castle, not where she would never be yours. “I would rather not disturb and…”
“Nonsense, you are family, dear. Go on, be good and put on something nice, I am convinced that Donna is very happy to see her… errand girl…” she said with her usual irony, one that you mistook for an accusation, making you feel guilty.
You had no choice but to obey, you couldn’t do anything else.
There, in the dining room, there she was: Donna, covered with her black veil, following you with her gaze while you sat in front of her, asking with your eyes, wanting to know the reason for her unexpected presence.
The Angie doll, unlike her owner, had no problem greeting you effusively.
“See, silly? We've come... Hey, what happened to you? You look like a ghost,” the puppet whispered to you in an indiscreet manner, but just before you could ask or speak, the three Dimitrescu sisters appeared next to their mother.
“Hello, hello...” Cassandra sang while the others politely greeted their aunt. “But what do we have here, my elusive girlfriend... It seems that you can't escape from me today, huh?”
As she spoke, your blood boiled more and more, her unconsented touch on your cheeks made you burn with pain, with shame, while she sat on your lap hastily, without the slightest decorum, kissing you passionately in front of your lover.
It couldn't be worse.
“Ahem, Cassandra, darling, show some decorum, will you?” Alcina corrected, causing the young woman to wink at you and stand up, letting you see how Donna tightly gripped her fork, and how Angie tried to soften the pressure.
You’d had awkward dinners, but that one, without a doubt, was the worst of all.
If it weren't for Alcina's pleasant chat with her sister, everything would be silent. You knew that Donna wasn't paying attention. She only saw how Cassandra made fun of you by feeding you dinner with evil laughter, or speaking to you in indiscreet whispers about what she was going to do to you as soon as Donna left.
The sound of a piece of cutlery falling to the floor interrupted that tense calm. Donna had dropped her spoon and you, as helpful as ever, bent down to pick it up under the table.
You discreetly handed her the fallen object, realizing that there was something in her hand, something she left in yours and that you squeezed tightly.
A note, or so it seemed. You didn't know what it contained, what it meant, whether it was an explanation, an apology, or an insult. You were dying to know, but you couldn't, not with Cassandra beside you.
Your brain worked very hard to ignore her non-consensual assault on your privacy, focusing on the best way to find out what that piece of paper contained.
Okay, the idea was stupid, but it was the best you could come up with given the circumstances.
“Oh, wow,” you said falsely, regretting having let the glass of wine spill on your formal dress.
You were a terrible actress.
“Excuse me, but I have to go to the bathroom,” you said hastily, abruptly removing Cassandra's hand from your leg and getting up from the table.
Nervous, you ran through the halls, pretending to wash yourself so as not to raise suspicions until, finally, you opened that paper.
I have come to fight for you, to take you home in my arms, amore mio.
I don’t want, nor can, live without you
I love you
You read it once, and again, and again. The smile lit up your dull face when you understood what Donna was doing in the castle.
At last, because of Angie or her own conscience, she had come to her senses. Donna had understood that you needed her, that you never wanted to hurt her.
It didn't mean that she had forgiven you for having cheating on her, but it was a written proof of what she felt for you. She would not give up easily and she had found the courage to fight for you, even risking invading Cassandra's territory.
“Oh, Donna...” you whispered, pressing the note to your chest. “Donna, Donna, Donna…”
The sound of distant footsteps brought you out of your euphoria. Was it her? Could you finally love her, really be hers?
“Donna?” you asked out loud, getting the echo of your voice as an answer.
“Mm, no, wrong,” a mocking voice said, one you knew, one that made you quickly put the note in your pocket. “Are you blind?”
“Cass, I…” you said as you saw your girlfriend licking her lips, coming closer while laughing, like a predator stalking its prey.
“If you wanted to see me, you didn’t have to stain that pretty dress.”
“It was an accident,” you lied, moving away from claws that were going straight for your waist. “We should go back.”
“Why the rush? It was a very lucky accident, don't you think?” she purred, forcing you to crash against the wall, with no option to escape. “Mother and the others are busy with Aunt Donna, so... well, you and I can play...”
Her tongue on your neck burned like a hot iron. The love you felt for Donna forced you to feel disgust for your girlfriend's actions. No, she wasn't going to get what she wanted that time, not when you were so close to getting the life you deserved, a life with Donna.
“No,” you said in a whisper, opening your eyes and standing firm.
“Excuse me?” Cassandra questioned, as if you had said something extraordinary, something she never thought she would hear from your lips.
“I said… No!” you screamed, pushing your girlfriend back, forcing her to step back sharply with her eyes wide open.
“What!?” she screamed angrily. “What do you mean by no? Listen, you silly girl, you are my girlfriend and…”
“No, not anymore,” you hissed. “I'm sick of you… of you making fun of me every day. It's over…”
“Why do you say those mean things to me? You don't have to… You can't say those things to me!” Cassandra yelled kicking the ground angrily, like a capricious child.
“It's over, Cassandra,” you said confidently, holding the note tightly in your hands, gaining all the courage you never thought you had. “You are a spoiled, pampered and capricious brat… you think you have the right to play with people, with their feelings… well, I'll tell you one thing… You won’t play with me anymore!” you said furiously, trembling with fear, but without faltering.
“How dare you…” the young Dimitrescu hissed in a dangerous tone, her gaze darkening more and more. “Well, I've been very patient with you, pet. Do you think I don't know that you leave your window open to avoid me, to laugh at me? You can't avoid me! You're my girlfriend! You're mine!”
“I'll never be yours!” you shouted back, with all your strength.
Those words were too much for the young woman, who approached roughly grabbing you by the collar of your dress, almost lifting you into the air.
“You're going to pay for it, pet… You're going to…!” she shrieked, raising her hand, about to punish you for your insolence.
Something prevented her from completing her action, a pale hand wrapped around her wrist, preventing her from moving, Donna’s hand.
The lady in black appeared to save you, pushing your now ex-girlfriend away from you with a furious growl.
“Donna!” you sobbed in the middle of a desperate cry.
“What are you doing? Stay out of this, Aunt Donna,” Cassandra said surprised, to which your lover paid no attention, walking quickly towards you and cupping your face in her hands.
“Tesoro... are you okay? Did she hurt you?” the lady whispered, checking your condition while you clung to her, shedding a sea of tears on her shoulder.
“I'm fine, I'm fine because you came... you came for me...” you said sobbing, finding the comfort you so lacked, the pleasant warmth of her arms.
“Of course I came... Oddio... I'm so sorry... I behaved like a fool...” she whispered in your ear, melting into you in a sincere, strong, safe embrace.
“Hey! What's going on here?” Cassandra asked, with a disgusted look at you. “What the hell…? Oh, no, it can't be true…”
“Get away from her, I won't repeat it,” Donna threatened, placing you behind her body in a protective gesture.
“You? Are you trying to snatch what's mine? Mother!” the young woman shouted, moving nervously and trying to grab you again. “You bitch… you've been cheating on me! Now you'll really pay for this and…!”
The lady in black moved quickly, pushing the young Dimitrescu aside and slapping her with a blow that left everything silent, lost in the echo of the walls.
“But, but…” Cassandra protested, incredulous at what had just happened. “You hit me!”
The sound of fast heels alerted you. Of course, that commotion alerted the lady of the castle, who was running towards you, causing a sinister smile to appear on Cassandra's wounded face.
“Mother, mother, come, come!” her daughter shrieked with childish satisfaction, pointing at you. “Aunt Donna hit me.”
Alcina looked at you briefly, studying the arms that held you, your tears, with a cold face.
“Now you are going to pay for what you have done... you are going to... Ah!” Another slap crossed the young vampire's face, but it wasn’t Donna's, but her own mother's. “Mother?”
“You stupid spoiled brat...” Alcina hissed, with her teeth grinding, with a visceral hatred towards her own daughter. “How dare you treat a girl like that?”
“What? But, but, but she…” Cassandra protested, embarrassed and terrified.
“Oh, come on, do you think I'm stupid? I know perfectly well what you were doing to poor (Y/N). Tell me, girl, what have I done wrong with you? Haven’t I educated you on how to treat ladies?”
“But…”
“Silence!” Dimitrescu shrieked, making you shrink even further into the arms of your lover, who remained stoic, ready to protect you. “Gods… (Y/N), are you okay?” she asked in a motherly tone, but visibly upset.
You simply nodded, moving away from the hand that rested on your shoulder.
“Mother, it's not fair,” Cassandra protested, with tears in her eyes, tugging at her mother's dress.
“Shut your mouth and get out of my sight! It's clear that you need new lessons… Until then, you're grounded! Go away!” the matriarch shrieked, pointing down the hallway, where the young woman, turned into a tangle of flies, fled in terror.
The tall woman sighed and seemed to calm down, turning her gaze towards you and sighing exhaustedly.
“Donna, how disappointing…” she said in a kind but accusatory tone. “I must confess that I never imagined that you, of all people, would be capable of such a thing…”
The lady in black didn’t respond, she simply hugged you tighter. She wasn’t going to let you go, she would never let you go again.
“And you…” the lady in white said. “Oh, my dear… how could you? Cheating on my daughter with Donna… no, no, no, that is not right, my dear…”
“My lady, I…” you stammered as best you could, with a sore throat, with your heart about to explode.
“Shut up,” Alcina ordered you. “You are fired. Take your things and get out of my castle… Oh, and Donna, I'm sure you won't waste the chance to have a maid like her, will you?”
You both looked at each other. You didn't know if Donna was smiling, but you were; your face regained its full brightness when you realized what was happening.
Alcina wasn't firing you, she was setting you free, allowing you, and Donna, to form the life together you dreamed of so much. It was all too good to be true; you even feared it was just a dream.
But as you left the castle in her arms, in Donna's arms, as she promised you, knowing that you wouldn't come back, that you would finally be free to be with her, you realized that it wasn't a dream, but reality, a reality you finally wanted to be in.

Hello my dear!
Sooo, I'm a huge fan of reading (especially reading fantasy books). And I can't get the headcanon out of my head. Where Viktor x Reader having a cozy evening in their shared apartment. And out of the sudden, Viktor is showing interests for Readers book. With every question he is asking, she feels, like she's falling in love with him all over again. And feels loved and appreciated for his interest in her hobby. So she just wants to cuddle and kiss him so badly.
Like, seriously....I would be on my knees for a moment like this in rl! ;---;

It was one of those peaceful evenings in their shared apartment, the kind that only came after a long day of work, filled with little moments of quiet bliss. The soft hum of the city outside mingled with the warmth of the fire crackling in the hearth. Viktor had finally set aside his cane for the evening, resting in a comfortable armchair, his back relaxed but his gaze still filled with a quiet intensity. Y/N sat beside him on the couch, a book open in her lap. Her fingers gently turned the pages as she found herself fully immersed in the world of myths and legends, a world far removed from the realities of Piltover.
Viktor, however, had been restless, his mind working over a small project on the table. The sound of gears clicking and metal pieces shifting filled the air, but it wasn’t the usual mechanical rhythm that usually filled their home. Tonight, there was something else in Viktor’s eyes. It wasn’t his usual focused intensity, but something gentler, more present. She noticed him glance over at her a few times, his gaze soft, almost as if he were seeing her in a new light.
"Y/N," Viktor’s voice broke the quiet, soft but full of curiosity. "What is it you're reading, Lásko?" (Love)
Y/N smiled up at him, a warmth spreading through her chest at the sound of his voice, always so attentive. She couldn’t help but feel special when he asked. “It’s a novel about myths and legends from the Vastaya people,” she explained. “A collection of stories that weave together history, magic, and forgotten realms. It’s one of my favourites.”
Viktor leaned back in his chair, resting his cane against the side, his focus shifting from his project to her. “The Vastaya… I know them in passing, but I’ve never had the chance to truly learn much about their myths. Why does this particular book resonate with you?”
Y/N closed the book and looked over at him, her heart swelling slightly at the genuine interest he showed. "I think it’s because these myths remind me of where I come from,” she said, her voice softening with the emotion she carried. “They tell stories of things I feel in my bones, things I can't always explain. There's a connection to my roots in them, something deeper than what words can fully capture.”
Viktor’s expression softened, his eyes taking on a more tender look as he processed her words. “That’s… beautiful, Y/N,” he said quietly. “I can understand why it would be so meaningful to you. You have such a deep connection to your heritage. It’s truly a part of who you are.”
Y/N smiled, feeling both grounded and uplifted by Viktor’s words. It wasn’t often that he opened up about how he saw her, and when he did, it left her feeling cherished in a way she couldn’t quite describe. She glanced at the book in her lap, then back at him, her gaze lingering for a moment.
“Tell me more about the myths,” Viktor urged, his voice soft but filled with curiosity. “What’s your favourite story from this book? I want to know everything.”
Her heart fluttered at his genuine interest. Every question he asked made her feel more seen, more understood. She leaned back into the couch, her fingers tracing the edge of the book, the words tumbling out of her mouth as she began to describe one of the legends, about the ancient guardians of her people. Her voice grew more animated as she spoke, the passion in her words unmistakable. Viktor’s gaze never wavered, and his attention was unwavering. He was completely absorbed in her every word, hanging on to each syllable as if it held an entirely new world for him.
When she finished, he leaned forward slightly, his voice low and full of admiration. “It sounds… enchanting,” Viktor said, his voice barely above a whisper. “The way you describe it, it’s as if the myths come alive through your words. I’d love to see more of what inspires you."
Her heart skipped a beat, and for a moment, she felt as though her entire being was being pulled towards him. Viktor had always been brilliant, focused, but right now, he was utterly absorbed in her, in her stories, in the things that mattered to her. It wasn’t just about the myths; it was the way he made her feel—deeply valued, loved for the parts of herself she often kept hidden.
Unable to stop herself, Y/N moved closer to him, her hand gently resting on his, her thumb brushing lightly over his skin. “Viktor…” she whispered, her voice trembling just a little with emotion. “You make me feel so… seen. So loved.”
Viktor’s gaze softened, a tenderness flickering across his features. He reached out to pull her gently into his arms, the warmth of his embrace enveloping her in a way that felt like coming home. He kissed the top of her head, his voice soothing, filled with care. “You are loved, Y/N. More than you’ll ever know. More than I could ever put into words.”
Y/N felt a wave of affection rush through her, and as the minutes passed, the fire crackled in the hearth, casting a soft glow on their faces. The quiet hum of the city outside was barely audible, and in that peaceful stillness, Viktor placed his project aside completely, giving her his undivided attention. His hands moved to gently tug her closer, and with a soft, inviting smile, he whispered, “Come here. Let me hold you for a while. Just let me listen.”
Y/N’s heart skipped once more as he offered her the chance to simply be, to share not only her thoughts but herself with him in the most simple and intimate way. She shifted in his arms, settling against his chest, her head resting against his shoulder. Viktor’s arms wrapped around her, his warmth seeping into her as if he were offering not just his body, but his very soul.
She let out a soft sigh of contentment, feeling her body relax into him, her fingers absentmindedly tracing over the fabric of his shirt. He gently kissed the top of her head again, his voice low and filled with affection. “Would you… read to me, Miláčku?” Viktor asked, his words barely more than a whisper. (Darling)
The request, so tender and personal, caused her heart to swell. She smiled, feeling the deep love and appreciation he had for her. She picked up the book once more, and as her voice filled the quiet room, she felt a warmth spread through her chest. As she read aloud, the words seemed to come to life, her voice dancing in the air as Viktor listened with rapt attention, his hands gently running through her hair. She could feel the deep connection between them, the way they both shared this small, perfect moment in time.
And as she continued to read, Y/N couldn’t help but feel that she was falling in love with Viktor all over again. It wasn’t the grand gestures or the loud proclamations of affection, but these quiet, intimate moments that spoke volumes. He had always been so focused on his work, so absorbed in his genius. But tonight, it was as if he were completely absorbed in her.
The fire crackled softly, and as the evening deepened, Y/N closed the book, setting it aside. She looked up at Viktor, her heart full, her thoughts scattered in the best way. She kissed him softly, slowly, as though to show him just how much she loved him in return.
“I love you, Viktor,” she whispered against his lips, her voice thick with emotion.
“I love you too, Y/N,” he replied, his words steady and sincere. “More than you could ever know.”
And in that moment, as the fire flickered and the world outside faded away, Y/N felt completely at peace. Wrapped in Viktor’s arms, with his love surrounding her, she knew there was no place she’d rather be.
The days drifted by, each one marked by their quiet routines and the bond that seemed to grow deeper with every passing moment. After that peaceful evening, where Viktor had so thoroughly captured her heart with his quiet attention and affection, something began to shift in the way they spent their time together.
Every time Y/N finished reading one of her beloved books, she would set it down on the small coffee table beside the couch and stretch, content with the peaceful moments she shared with Viktor. But soon, she began to notice something strange.
The next day, after finishing a particularly captivating myth about the ancient spirits of the Vastaya, Y/N placed the book on the table, intending to return to it later. When she stood up and turned around, she noticed a small package resting on the table. It wasn’t there the moment before—she would have noticed it, surely.
Curious, she reached for it and carefully unwrapped the soft leather cover. Inside was a new book, its pages crisp and untouched. She turned it over in her hands, a soft smile tugging at her lips as she read the title—Legends of Lost Civilisations. It was exactly the kind of book she would love, filled with ancient stories and hidden histories.
Before she could even process it, Viktor appeared beside her, his expression warm and a little playful. “I thought you might enjoy something new,” he said, his voice low, almost shy, as though he wasn’t sure how she would react. But there was a tenderness in his gaze that made her heart flutter.
Y/N looked up at him, her lips curving into a smile. “You—Viktor, this is... I don’t even know what to say.”
“I noticed how much you enjoy your reading,” Viktor continued, his voice soft, “and I thought you might appreciate a new one to add to your collection.” He hesitated for a moment before adding, “I hope it’s to your liking.”
She pulled him into a tight hug without thinking, overcome by the warmth of his gesture. “I love it,” she whispered, holding him close. “Thank you. You always know exactly what to do to make me feel so cared for.”
Viktor’s arms wrapped around her, pulling her close, his voice rumbling with affection. “I pay attention,” he murmured. “I want you to feel loved, Lásko. And I’ve noticed the joy you get when you dive into your stories.”
Over the next few weeks, it became a small but cherished tradition. Every time Y/N finished one of her books, a new one would appear on the table—sometimes wrapped in soft fabric, sometimes simply resting there, waiting for her to discover it. Viktor had an uncanny ability to choose books that fit perfectly with her interests, each one a little more special than the last.
One day, Y/N had just finished the latest one—a beautifully written account of the starry skies and the constellations that were said to guide the Vastaya when they first arrived on Runeterra. She placed it down, ready to settle in for another quiet evening, when, to her surprise, a new book was waiting for her on the table.
This time, it was an older volume, its edges slightly worn, and its leather cover embossed with intricate designs. As she picked it up, she noticed the weight of it, and the delicate gold leafing on the spine. The title was faint but readable: The Heart of the Wilds: A History of the Vastaya’s Ancients.
Her heart skipped. This was a book that her grandmother had once spoken of, a rare and treasured work from generations before her. It was a history she thought she might never find. She looked up at Viktor, who had been standing by the fire, watching her with that same quiet smile.
“How… where did you find this?” she asked, her voice filled with awe.
Viktor stepped closer, his hand gently resting on her shoulder. “I asked around, did some research,” he said, his tone nonchalant but with a glint of pride in his eyes. “I knew you’d appreciate it.”
Tears threatened to spill from her eyes, but she held them back, overcome by the thoughtfulness of his gesture. “This means so much to me,” she whispered, her voice thick with emotion. “You always go above and beyond for me. I can’t… I can’t even put it into words.”
Viktor’s hand gently cupped her cheek, his thumb brushing away the softest of tears that had slipped down her face. “You don’t need to. You never need to explain how you feel, love. I just want you to know how much you mean to me.”
In that moment, Y/N leaned up and kissed him, softly at first, then deeper as the emotions between them swirled and tangled. She felt the weight of his affection, the tenderness in every action, and it made her feel loved in a way she hadn’t known was possible. When they finally pulled away, breathless, she smiled up at him.
“You know, I think you’ve spoiled me, Viktor,” she said, her voice playful yet sincere. “I may never want to read another book that doesn’t come from you.”
Viktor chuckled softly, brushing a lock of hair from her face. “I’ll take that as a compliment. And if it means you feel special, then it’s worth it.”
That night, as she sat down to read the new book Viktor had so thoughtfully given her, she felt as though she were falling in love with him all over again. With every turn of the page, every word of affection, and every shared moment, Y/N realised just how deeply Viktor cared for her—and how lucky she was to have him by her side.
And so, with each new book that arrived, her love for Viktor only grew, filling their home with a quiet kind of magic—a magic that had nothing to do with spells or machines, but with the simple, profound ways they made each other feel truly seen and cherished.

ᜃ SOFT LIPS, FLUSHED FACE ( 오시온 )
genre fluff , established relationship , sion x fem!reader cw making out (not rly suggestive tho) , not proofread , ending is prob shit wc 610 request for my pookie @blue-jisungs note whipped sion agenda AND ALSO SHY SION AGENDA. he's too charismatic on stage we forget this man is soooo shy net @kstrucknet @chrimatanet
Your boyfriend had always been clingy. Whether it was with you or any of the boys, it didn’t matter. Physical touch was Sion’s love language, and he seemed to have infinite amounts of it to give. Especially to you.
“Why are you pouting again?” you asked, focused completely on the book you were reading. You didn’t even need to glance in his direction to see his facial expression resembling that of a sad puppy. Whenever your boyfriend got uncharacteristically quiet, you knew he was pouting.
“You stopped kissing me.”
“For two seconds while I finish my chapter,” you reminded him, flipping the page. There were only three paragraphs left. He could wait.
“Hurry up,” he complained, resting his head on your shoulder, eyes dropping down to skim the words on the page. He never understood why you always read romance books when he was right in front of you. Thirty seconds felt like hours to Sion, but when you finally moved your bookmark to the page, his eyes lit up. You didn’t have a chance to get a word in edgewise before the book was knocked out of the way, and Sion’s hand turned your head towards him for his long-awaited kiss.
Long-awaited was an exaggeration, but there was rarely a day that your boyfriend wasn’t a little dramatic. That didn’t matter now, though, as you tasted his lips again, eyes falling closed naturally. Now determined to give your boyfriend exactly what he wanted, you pushed his shoulder back, lips still interlocked, until he rested against the headboard of the bed.
Hands squeezing his shoulder, you finally pulled back from the kiss, slightly breathless. Sion’s eyes followed you, a slight smirk on his face, and yearning eyes longing for more. You smiled at him, pushing back some of his hair and cupping his cheeks. One hand traced his jawline, finger catching under his chin to lift it up. His soft eyes stared at yours, cheeks starting to flush under your touch. You only giggled at how cute he was, placing a few quick kisses to the beauty marks and freckles on his face.
Sion’s eyes fluttered closed, soft giggles escaping his lips as your feather-light touch slightly tickled his face. He simply adored moments like this. When he was the focus of all your attention; when the world seemed to fade away, and it was just you two drowning in the love you shared.
It wasn’t long before your lips found his again, gently dancing in tandem with the other. Soft lips and warm tongue falling into each other. Sion’s hands wandered to your waist, pulling you closer. You felt like you could stay like this forever, the taste of Sion’s lips and the warmth of his flushed skin under your body addicting you more every time you kissed him.
Sion was the first to separate, breathless but still holding you close. There was a moment of silence before you both broke out in giggles. You fell completely into Sion’s hold, no longer trying to keep your head up as you nuzzled into his neck. His arms wrapped around you, hugging you ever close, as if even a single inch of space between you and him would end the world.
“I love you so much,” you mumbled. The palm you rested on his chest allowed you to feel his heartbeat, still racing slightly.
“I know.” Sion smiled, all the warm feelings of love swirling in his chest at the sound of your voice.
“Thought I should tell you more often,” you whispered quietly, an equally big smile on your face as you snuggled closer to him.
“I love you too.”

Love me like a friend
Requested: no
Pairing: Nico Hischier x reader
Words: 604
Warning(s): none
The snow fell softly over Newark, blanketing the city in a quiet hush. (y/n) pulled her coat tighter around herself as she walked toward the arena, her heart pounding against her ribs. She shouldn’t be here, but she couldn’t stay away—not from him.
Nico Hischier stood near the players' entrance, hands buried deep in the pockets of his jacket. His expression was unreadable, but his eyes softened the moment they landed on her.
"(y/n)," he said, his voice carrying that familiar warmth that always made her weak.
"Hey," she whispered, unsure of what to say, unsure of why she had come.
They had been everything but what she truly wanted. Late-night talks, easy laughter, lingering glances—he was her constant, her closest friend. But that’s all they had ever been. Friends.
Except it had never been enough.
"What are you doing here?" he asked, his breath visible in the cold air.
(y/n) hesitated, biting her lip. "I don’t know. I just... I needed to see you."
A long silence stretched between them, the kind that carried unspoken words and unanswered questions.
Nico sighed, running a hand through his dark hair. "(y/n), you know how much you mean to me. But—"
"But not like that," she finished for him, forcing a smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes.
He didn’t answer, and maybe he didn’t need to. The truth was already there, hanging between them like the snowflakes that refused to settle.
(y/n) took a step back, exhaling shakily. "I should go."
Nico reached for her hand, just for a second, as if he wasn’t ready to let go. But then he did.
She turned and walked away, knowing that loving him like a friend was the only way she could keep him. Even if it broke her heart.
(y/n) walked through the snowy streets, her breath coming in short puffs. She wanted to believe that leaving was the right choice, but her heart ached in a way she hadn’t anticipated. She pulled out her phone, staring at their old messages, the ones filled with inside jokes and late-night confessions. The warmth of their friendship had been everything, yet it felt hollow now.
She had almost reached the subway when she heard hurried footsteps behind her. Turning, she found Nico, slightly out of breath, his cheeks pink from the cold.
"(y/n), wait."
She froze, her pulse racing. "Nico, you don’t have to—"
"I do," he interrupted, stepping closer. "I don’t want to lose you."
She shook her head, sadness pooling in her eyes. "You’re not losing me, Nico. You never have. But I can’t keep pretending this doesn’t hurt. I can’t keep being just your friend when my heart wants more."
His jaw tightened, the weight of her words settling over him. "I never wanted to hurt you. I just... I never knew how to be without you."
(y/n) let out a small laugh, one tinged with exhaustion. "Then maybe it’s time you figure that out."
Silence stretched between them again, but this time, it wasn’t filled with unsaid things—it was filled with realization. They had been dancing around their feelings for so long that neither of them knew how to step away without falling apart.
Finally, Nico reached out, brushing his fingers against her cheek. "(y/n), if I asked you to stay, would you?"
She swallowed hard, her heart warring with her mind. "Only if you mean it."
He searched her face for a long moment before nodding. "I do."
And maybe, just maybe, this time, they wouldn’t let fear get in the way of what was meant to be.

OH OH YK WHAT I NEED BAD? KO SIBLING X CODY OOOOO I NEED IT I NEEDDDD IT
NEW BEGINNINGS
(Cody Rhodes x Non-described!Owens!Reader, can be read as adopted or not)
Anger issues and complaining runned in the Owen’s family. It was what your family did, most of you on the side, but your brother, he did it for his literal career. Like seriously, Kevin just complained for a living- he got on a microphone and yelled. As jealous as you were, it wasn’t your gimmick unfortunately. The two of you grew up side by side, falling in love with wrestling together, and eventually even growing in the business together. Though you had pretty similar styles, Kevin loved being in the WWE and everything he stood for there, and you loved being in TNA, and all of the accomplishments you’ve made in the company.
Though you were on separate paths, whenever they happened to cross, you’d sit down and have lunch, or dinner, or whatever else you could manage and do what Owens’ did best- complain together.
“How’s working with all of the Bloodline guys, still?” You ask after taking a gulp from your soda. Before you can even finish, he’s rolling his eyes and groaning with a mouthful of cheeseburger.
“Still fucking terrible. There’s more of them! Like an endless amount, they just keep popping up out of nowhere, and the more that come, the crazier they fucking get,” His exasperated sound makes you laugh. “I’m serious!”
You shake your head while he takes another massive bite out of his burger.
“Who’d you just work with? Uh, what’s his name? That woo woo woo guy? Zak Ryder!” You nod, taking a bite of your own food after muttering the ‘You Know It’ part of the catchphrase.
“He’s Matt Cardona now- that’s his actual name. He’s a nice guy…a lot, but nice. Like so much, really, all smiles and enthusiasm all the time. When Chelsea won the title, he brought a replica the next day and everyone thought it was the real one.”
This was how it usually went- catch up through each others feuds and how annoying everyone else was, and eventually the chatter would die down and you’d eat for a little, and then someone would pick up an actual conversation. The only problem here though, was there was one more feud of Kevins you were trying to avoid, but it was kind of hard. He was a massive deal in the company and a massive part of Kevins life right now.
“I know what you’re doing.” Kevin states causally, leaning back in his chair after starting on his fries.
“What?” You try to laugh it off, but you don’t look up from your own plate.
“Cody. You don’t wanna ask me about him.”
“….I just figured you’d want to keep your mind off it with the match at the Royal Rumble coming up.” You try, but he shakes his head. That was still in a couple weeks.
“Dude. I know you’re a fan- you literally still have the shirt from when he did the Dashing thing years ago. You liked Stardust, you know who else liked Stardust? No one.“
“Okay, I get it, you don’t have to publicly shame me about it. You can complain about everyone else, that’s my exception.” The two of you are quick to go back to silence while you try to finish your meal, and he chugs down another soda. The man ate ridiculously fast, nothing could stop him.
“You know,” He broke the quiet again. “You would really like WWE. Paul keeps bugging me about talking to you.”
“So you’ve told me,” You shrug. “I don’t know. TNA’s my home at this point, I can’t imagine leaving.” A laugh rips through you at a sudden thought and he nods his head for you to continue. “Maybe, maybe if you got Cody to ask-“ His eyes close with a sigh, and he immediately starts shaking his head, which only makes you laugh harder.
“Don’t push it.”
That had been about a week ago. You’d both gone back to your regularly scheduled program, him on Fridays and you on Thursdays. His feud with Cody continued, with a whole bunch of shit happening over there, and you moved on to work with other TNA superstars. After another long Thursday night you’re ready to conk out from the very fun, but tiring, on top of the night of wrestling, celebration with Joe Hendry for his new, recent title win (you’d already given your condolences to Nic).
As soon as your head hits the pillow, your phone rings. And you know it’s Kevin because you had set his theme song for his ringtone.
“What’s wrong?” You answer on the first ring. It’s late, and this is unusual, the first thing your mind goes to is that something happened.
“Did you see the news?”
“What fucking news Kevin, you’re freaking me out-“
“WWE and TNA signed a contract, anyone can go anywhere,” He rushes out, your name following it. “Anyone can go anywhere.”
You aren’t even sure what to say, and the phone line goes quiet while you stammer before Kevin interrupts.
“I gave Paul your number- he wants you in the Rumble.”
And now, here you were. This was fucking crazy! Of the entire TNA roster, you, Joe Hendry, and Jordynne Grace had been picked to join the Royal Rumble. Everything was so different here, you could see why Kevin liked it. Everything reminded you of him, and to be able to see him this much was so great. You traveled together, for the first time since your teenage years, and with all of the excitement you felt that young again too.
The Guerrilla was packed. It was great to see people you had worked with in the past, like Naomi and AJ Styles, but it was also great to meet new faces. Maxxine Dupri was the nicest person you had ever met, and so pretty. And you finally got to meet Chelsea! She wanted to keep in touch in case Matt tried to take her actual belt next time, apparently she hadn’t known he bought the replica.
Right now, the women’s rumble was seconds from kicking everything off so it was mostly women in the area, but a couple guys were wandering around too. Joe Hendry had stayed near you, which both of you were thankful for, he was actually a pretty shy guy behind cameras and you hated being alone around so many people. Jordynne and Naomi were a lot more acquainted than you were with her, so they snuck off to the side to have a chat.
The match was quick to begin with Iyo Sky and Liv Morgan before others started to quickly fill in. Your number was later on, you’d gotten 22. You didn’t want to be so late, and had tried to fight Paul about it but he was adamant the crowd would be excited, plus you had enough spots behind you to stay in for a while. The crowd started to wear out in Geurilla, and eventually you found yourself in the small room everything led to, with about ten other entrants, Maxxine had just went through the curtain at number 14.
“So,” Kevin strolls up from behind you with a bowl of something from catering. “I don’t want to hear a single word of this. But I called in a favor.” Your eyebrows furrow as you turn to him, and he holds up a hand. “Not a word.” And then he walks out. What the fuck?
You don’t have time to think about that anyways, now you’re wishing Jordynne (number 19) good luck as the buzzer rushes. After her, is the great return of Alexa Bliss, who is granted the biggest pop so far, which Zelina Vega follows, and then all that’s left in front of you is the grey curtain covering the biggest opportunity you’ve received in your life.
That was both the longest and shortest minute and a half of your entire life, but when the crowd counts down, and the buzzer rings out, and your music starts playing, you’ve never heard anything louder. You fight to your last breath, and then you keep fighting. You make it pass Nia Jax’s mass elimination, and lots of other attempts, and somehow, its just you and Charlotte Flair. You give it your best, but the nerves get the best of you, and Charlotte ends up throwing you over the rope.
As disappointed as you are, you made it farther than you could’ve dreamed of, and as the fans yell for your attention while you walk back up the ramp, you can’t help but be proud. You walk through the curtain to find your fellow (past, and present) TNA stars cheering you on, and you’re too busy taking the praise with embarrassment and a shy gaze to the ground, that you don’t notice Kevins favor until you’re snapping a picture with HHH for media.
In all of his glory, standing directly across from you all the way across the room, is Cody Rhodes. Clapping. And staring at you, with that one smile. Y’know, the one, the Dashing Cody Rhodes shit eating grin.
“Oh my God, Kevin,” You mutter under your breath when the pictures are over and you can turn away. “What the fuck. Kevin. What the fuck.” Kevin is no where in sight, and Paul is laughing at you so hard.
“Heard you’re a pretty big fan,” You can hear him approaching from behind you and there’s nothing else you can do but face him and hope not to embarrass yourself any further.
“I’d say I’m an avid watcher, if that’s what you’d like to consider me, yes.” He’s still grinning at you like that, and it’s making this so much harder. The rest of the room is funneling out.
“Oh, okay, okay. Just a big Stardust fan, then?” Your lips purse into a fine line when you find you have no explanation.
“How much did he tell you, exactly?” God, you’re never coming back to this company ever again. Only to get back at Kevin for this. He shrugs.
“I’m just teasing, don’t worry,” His grin relaxed, and suddenly he looks more like the American Nightmare Cody, and his hand is resting on your shoulder. “I’m a pretty big fan, too. You were great out there.”
“Oh, I tried my best, thanks,” Your face is heating up again, and you try to push it off.
“Really, you were great. I hope I get to see you around some more.” You still can’t find any words, and the room seems to be getting hotter by the second. “Or, out of it either. Not to be this straight forward, and feel free to tell me to back off, but if you’re around tomorrow, I’d love to take you to dinner or something.”
“Uhm, uh-“ I’m between your sputtering you find yourself laughing. “You’re about to go fight to the death with my brother.” He laughs, looking down at his ring gear, and nods his head, because yes, he’s going to go beat the shit out of your brother.
“I’m guessing that’s a back off?” He looks back up through his eyelashes with the grin that makes you melt.
“No, no, please, bring him to hell and back.” You grin back, before nodding shyly. “Dinner would be great.” Before you have the chance to keep talking, Pauls calling him over, and he gives you an apologetic look and tells you somehow, he’ll get ahold of you before he rushes over to HHH. Kevin comes in shortly after, and laughs at you with no clue that his worst enemy thinks your fine as hell, and that you’re going to go chase Jey Uso down for his phone number. You sit in the Guerrilla for just a second longer and watch them both disappear behind the curtain before you run off to take a shower, and text everybody you’ve ever known that Cody Fucking Rhodes just asked you out.
Maybe you would be coming back to WWE a couple more times.
Wow look at me goooo it feels like its been so long since i wrote for Cody (prolly cuz it has been)

To say you weren’t expecting Tim at your door at ten o’clock at night would have been an understatement.
He had called your relationship quits just short of two weeks ago, explaining the cliché of it being him and not you. Telling you he was sorry but simply couldn’t continue loving you. Your eyes stung at his words as you told him repeatedly to leave, to just get the fuck out, his over said apologizes ricocheting off your skin like a bullets hitting steel as you pushed him out the door and slammed it in his face.
You fell with your back against the door, you had felt as though your heart was ripped into halves and Tim took one side with him. You had a couple of sick days you haven't used up at work and decided then would be as good a time as ever.
One full week of nothing but tears and the occasional contemplation of calling, or texting Tim but in the end deciding it wasn’t a healthy nor good option. However, you only allowed yourself one full week of sulking before moving on with your life, you didn’t want to fall into a pattern of bad habits.
Although, some would argue forcing yourself only one week to grieve a long-term relationship is in itselfs, unhealthy.
So now after not properly dealing with the breakup and over-exhausting yourself with work, you were not pleased to see Tim.
“What?’ you said in a harsh tone
“I needed to see you,” Tim explained with his voice on edge.
You had to keep yourself from rolling your eyes and laughing humorlessly, “and why is that?” your voice clearly unimpressed. “It was a bad day at work, someone who looked exactly like you died and i just couldn’t get the thought of you out of my head” Tim finished with eyes red as rubies. The look in his eyes almost had you reeling him in, holding him to your chest and assuring him that you were okay.
Instead, your eyes only softened as you said “Tim i'm okay, but you need to go.” His heart was crushed hearing you say that, although he can’t say he didn’t deserve it. He destroyed you, with the only reason being he was too scared to fall in love again and besides telling you that, he shut you out.
“Please, Y/n, can I crash here tonight” Tim nearly begged. He looked like he might soon be sick if you didn’t allow him in, but you couldn’t. After everything he did, and told you the night he broke up with you, you couldn’t accept him back in no matter how much he beggar or how much it hurt your heart to see him like this.
“This is so, so goddamn unfair Tim” you spoke with anger as tears appeared on your waterline, “this is what you wanted, and now yo-you think you can just come back when you need a ‘pick me up’?” you heard your heartbeat in your ears as you told him off.
“I know, I know baby-” Tim tried before you cut him off,
“No, no you don’t get to fucking call me that, you ended it.”
The hope in his eyes dimmed out the moment he realized that it was, indeed, actually over. He did end it. All of this was because of him, your tears, your pain, every single thing, was his fault. There wasn’t anything he could do except sit there and take it.
“Listen, I had a long day too, so I need you to leave” you sighed out whilst rubbing between your eyes. Then, with one last look into your eyes, like he was searching for a reason to stay, yet all he could find was disdain and anger. So he stepped back saying a quiet “i'm sorry’ and walked away from your door with his hand on the back of his neck.
It seems like collapsing against an angry closed door was starting to become a recurring action, and you could only hope this would be the last time he showed up.

Nascar! Male reader after being cheated on by his former boyfriend (thats pretty much friends with his entire team and even had sex with afew) moves to f1 for 2025 where he drives pretty reckless, and while he doesn't disobey team orders the team would rather he not get into situations where they need them, that is till jack doohan, kimi antonelli and oliver bearman become friends and reader falls in love with jack.
–🍑
i know next to nothing about nascar so sorry in advance for inaccuracies
the day you found out your boyfriend had been cheating on you was probably the worst day of your life. if it wasn't the absolute worst, it was definitely a contender for the top three.
everything felt like it had fallen to pieces so quickly. one day you were happily in love, you had a great team behind you, and a great circle of friends. the next you were hastily packing a bag of only the things you cared most about through blurred vision. your team, your friends, everyone seemed to take the side of your ex-boyfriend.
no matter how much proof you had, you got excuses of "but he's such a nice guy!" or "well, he's never done anything to me ..."
you couldn't count how many things you'd lost that day. your friends called you a liar and a coward. your team started icing you out, giving you the worse strategies and slower pit stops. the final blow came when you discovered that not one, not two, but several of them had slept with your boyfriend–often during race weekends when you were focused on, you know, not crashing the car.
the second you got a call and an offer from a formula one team, you took it. nascar had been fun for a while, but now it only reminded you of him and everything he took with him. you sent your team a two-line e-mail to tell them that you had a seat elsewhere and got on the next plane to the uk.
formula one was ... different. in good ways and bad. pro: it reminded you very little of your ex. con: it opened you up to a much more global audience; many of whom–given you hadn't leaked any of the proof of your ex cheating on you–had taken to believing the same lies everyone else had.
your driving, instead of being precise and calculated, became aggressive and reckless. you never disobeyed team orders, and you never raced in such a way that it would put another driver at risk, but when it was just you ... well, you found that you really didn't care enough for your own life to preserve it.
formula one had a whole media angle with the many new rookies on the grid. at first, you were determined to remain unattached and borderline cold. but the cheery personalities surrounding you slowly chipped away at your roughened exterior.
you weren't sure exactly when it broke away completely. maybe it was when ollie had called you one night, drunk off his ass, to excitedly tell you about a cat he'd seen on the street. maybe it was when kimi insisted on cooking you authentic italian food on your birthday (how depressing it was to realise that you couldn't remember the last time you'd celebrated it). maybe it was when you made jack laugh–really laugh–for the first time.
you didn't know when it happened, but it did. and you couldn't have been more grateful. ollie and kimi were the best friends you could ask for, and jack ... well, your resolution to never date again came to an abrupt end when the two of you found yourselves tipsy and alone in your hotel room.
slowly but surely, your driving returned to it's previous standard. you stopped spending nights crying yourself to sleep and spending morning bare-knuckle boxing a sandbag until your knuckles bled. you got better. you were happier.
and when the day finally came that someone else revealed the evidence of your ex's infidelity, all you could say was, "good riddance."

A Hard Lesson
SukunaXFemReader (Modern AU)
Summary: The Itadori's are faced with a heartbreaking question from Aika, and it's up to them to answer in the best and most truthful way possible.
A/N: Please always remember, you're good enough <3
Sukuna X FemReader Masterlist
Yuji stood there, Aika’s question catching her off guard. She was already in tears as she asked her question, a situation that she had created in her mind to be true. Cause it had to be true, right? Cause why else would things be the way they are?
“Yuji-“ Sukuna called as he headed to his brother’s room. He needed to know what the 2 brats wanted for dinner. But Aika’s cries made him pause at the doorway. Did Yuji make her cry? That’s kind of unlike him. “Suku- nii.” Yuji began to tear up. “I don’t know what to do.”
… wtf. Sukuna didn’t even know what was happening, why Aika was crying and why Yuji was about to cry himself.
He placed a hand on Yuji’s head, signaling that everything will be ok. And then picked up Aika, consoling the child as he did Yuji when they were younger.
“So?” Sukuna pressed. He didn’t need to say that one of them better explain why the fcuk they were crying. “Um, Aika had a question.” Yuji mentioned, a sadness seeping through his voice. “And I didn’t know how to answer.” His voice ended in a whisper. “What question?” Sukuna continued, now looking at Aika. But the poor girl didn’t want to answer, wiping her tears as she didn’t want to upset Sukuna.
“Aika.” Sukuna pressed once more. He wasn’t going to repeat his question, something Yuji already knew and Aika was starting to learn.
With one more sniffle, she asked the question that had broke the younger Itadori’s heart.
“Suki, does my dad not like me?” “Why are you asking that?” Sukuna’s expression turning flat, it wasn’t a question he wanted to answer. Cause screw him! LOL “Cause everyone else in my class has a dad, but not me.” “Did someone in class say that your dad doesn’t like you?” Sukuna questioned. And when Aika didn’t answer and simply looked down to the floor, he mentally promised her that whoever their parents were, will not be having a child anymore.
Which isn’t a nice thing to say, so he didn’t say it outloud Lol
“Don’t listen to them.” Was the poorest advice Sukuna could honestly say. But what else was he allowed to say? He barely knew the situation with you and your ex, only that he chose to not be in the picture anymore. And you were were fine with that. “Suku-nii.” Yuji whispered, as if reprimanding him. Yuji? The younger brother, reprimanding him? Ha!
Sukuna simply grimaced at Yuji. He understood that the advice he gave was simply terrible, especially for someone Aika’s age. But he didn’t want to overstep boundaries for Aika wasn’t his child, he didn’t want to overstep and make you upset.
But to Sukuna, there was something he wanted to say on the matter.
“It’s not that he doesn’t like you.” Sukuna started, catching Yuji by surprise when he continued. Aika simply sat there. “He just doesn’t deserve you.” “Deserve me?” Aika questioned. She didn’t really understand. Maybe he meant like how her mom would ask her if she deserved icecream after not finishing her homework. “Yeah.” Sukuna answered, how does he explain it in terms Aika would understand? “If you’re not good, then do you think you deserve rewards for it?” “No.” Aika answered, tears about to slip through. But she won’t cry in front of Sukuna, she refuses too! But she already did… “If your dad chooses not to see you, is that nice?” Sukuna continued. “No.” Aika sniffled, she was so close to crying again. “Then do you think your dad who chooses not to see you, deserves you?” “No.” Aika let her tears fall.
Aika was so confused in wanting to be a good daughter by loving both parents. But truthfully, because she didn’t see her dad, doesn’t truly know him, she wasn’t sure how she was supposed to love him. Was she supposed to give him the same love she gives Sukuna? Cause Gojo said it was ok to write her homework that one time on Father’s Day about Sukuna. He treated her nicely, helped her with her homework when Yuji or you couldn’t. Fed her all her favourite things and took her to her favourite places, all with Yuji by her side. Sukuna deserved her love, deserved her. Was she supposed to love her dad like how she loves Sukuna?
Maybe she should ask you or Gojo about that.
And truthfully. Sukuna loved Aika just as much as he loved Yuji, just as much as he would love his own child.
And perhaps the love that Aika kept for her dad, perhaps Sukuna deserved it more than her dad.
“Mommy!” Aika suddenly screamed, her tears getting harder as she screamed for you.
Yuji and Sukuna jumped, this was so unexpected. The Itadori brothers thought that Sukuna’s little speech was good, surprisingly.
And it was good. Aika was only now confused on who deserved her love, on who deserved her. She needed to ask you, to Aika you had all the answers, you’re her mom after all.
But where were you during this little crisis?
Stuck outside the front door waiting for one of the brothers to answer the door, that’s where.
It didn’t even dawn on any of them that you’re probably close by until Yuji’s phone started ringing.
“Hello?” Yuji answered carefully, Aika was still crying. “Hey Yuji, I’m outside… is Aika crying?” You questioned as you could hear her in the background.
Yuji froze for a moment, would you be mad knowing your daughter was crying?
“Yeah…” Yuji answered slowly. “I’ll come open the door.”
And with that, Yuji quickly exited the room, leaving Sukuna with a crying Aika.
“Hey…” Yuji said carefully, opening the door. He wasn’t sure how you would react to news of your daughter crying. “Hi Yuji.” You answered… pretty cheerfully too. Wtf? Did she not just hear her daughter crying? “So where’s Aika?” “With Suku- nii upstairs in my room.” Yuji admitted. “I’m sorry Y/N-“ “For what?” You asked confused? “Did you make Aika cry?” “No, but-“ “And I doubt Sukuna did too.” You answered with a small smile. “It’s fine Yuji, just tell me what happened.”
So Yuji began to explain how Aika’s sudden question had stumped him, and how Sukuna tried his very best to comfort her. But in the end, his words didn’t seem to affect her.
“Is that all?” You questioned, that gentle smile never leaving your face. “Yeah.” Yuji answered, he was relieved he wasn’t in trouble. But he still felt bad for Aika crying. “And between me and you.” You said just before heading upstairs to Yuji’s room, making Yuji look up at you. “Aika’s father is a real piece of work. The reason she doesn’t see him is actually his own fault, he chose that. So Sukuna’s right when he said that he doesn’t deserve Aika.”
With that, Yuji’s big smile returned to his face, realizing you agreed with his big brother.
You gently knocked on Yuji’s door, even though it was wide open. Sukuna and Aika immediately made eye contact with you, causing Aika to crawl out of Sukuna’s grasp to get to you.
You scooped Aika into your arms, and into a big hug. Her tears were now dry, but her eyes red and puffy. And there sat Sukuna, still on Yuji’s bed, taking in the scene before him.
“Aww my sweet pea, you were crying.” You cooed at your daughter, Aika burying her face into your neck and shoulder. “Did Suki make you feel better though?”
And you felt a gentle nod against your neck, making you smile.
“He did? Suki is always so good to you darling, isn’t he.” You continued, a gentle smile on your face as you hugged Aika. Sukuna couldn’t help the way his heart beat in his chest, and his cheeks turn pink. Wtf, why do you always make him feel this way?! All cause you acknowledged his actions towards your daughter.
“You know, there’s someone downstairs who also probably feels sad, cause you were sad.” You mentioned, causing Aika to lift her head. “Yuji is also sad, because you were sad. Why don’t you go make him feel better like how Suki did.”
Instantly, Aika was wiggling her way out of your arms, holding back her tears once again. As she made it her goal to make sure Yuji was ok. And off she was running down the stairs.
“Don’t run brat!” Sukuna yelled.
And there Aika was, now walking down the stairs cause she got yelled at.
You laughed.
“I heard what you said to her.” You confirmed to Sukuna’s dread. Of course Yuji most likely told you when you were let in. You’re probably going to tease him about being a softie. As if you don’t already know. “It’s whatever. Brat was crying about some deadbeat.” Sukuna answered back, that gruff tone reappearing. “Yeah he is a deadbeat.” You laughed. “She has you and Yuji though.”
Sukuna could no longer hear it, the sadness in your voice whenever you spoke about Aika not having a relationship with her father. It was like it never existed. Instead your tone, your words, they were grateful. They were kind. They were loving.
“Be nice if she had a sibling though.” You casually mentioned, a smirk on your face as you eyed Sukuna.
Sukuna almost choked on air.
“Don’t fcukin’ temp me brat.” Sukuna answered back, walking out of Yuji’s room. You closely following behind, laughing out loud.
Cause how would he know, how serious you were about that.
Extra:
“You don’t deserve to cry Yuyu cause I was crying.” A small but serious tone said.
You and Sukuna only looked at each other before peeking around the corner to the living room. There was Yuji gently smiling at Aika, who stood before him, holding his hand in such a serious way.
Wtf is going on…? And why did she say it that way?
“I’m sorry Yuyu, for making you cry. But you don’t deserve to cry.” Aika continued.
Yuuji was trying not to laugh, Aika was getting her words wrong. And figured out that Aika was probably copying Sukuna’s kind words.
“Don’t worry Aika, I’m ok.” Yuuji grinned. “Want to watch that new movie you asked about? I found it streaming.”
“Yeah!” Aika was excited.
You laughed at the change of Aika’s mood and words.
“Almost seems like she was mocking you Suki.” You teased, to which Sukuna groaned. He swears, this family doesn’t take him seriously!

The Aspiring Teachers Program
Part 8 WC:~1.9k
When lunchtime came, Melissa was glad to see she had made it to the break room before you. She took the opportunity to warm up your food for you, knowing she’d get to see your smile again. After the morning she had with her little eagles, she would be considering retiring to the Bahamas, except you were here.
She had just sat down with her own plate of food when you came through the door. Melissa could tell the exact moment you smelled the food on the table, as you broke out into a huge grin and made a beeline for the table. She ignored the butterflies in her stomach. That happened all the time with you, so she was getting good at ignoring them. Melissa let you take a few bites before she asked about your plans for the Franklin Institute. She dug into her ziti, as both you and Barb took your turns excitedly chatting about your plans for the night. Of course, Melissa took her turn, telling her friends the parts she was looking forward to most.
Just as Melissa finished, Jacob came running in the door, clinging to a piece of paper like it had just saved him from drowning in the Delaware. Janine piped up from the couch. Melissa hadn’t even seen her come in.
“What’s that?”
When he revealed that he was holding an invitation to the Aspiring Teachers Program, Melissa felt her entire body tense up. It had been years since she had attended, but Barb was the only other teacher Melissa had heard talk about the Program throughout that entire time. Apparently, Barb hadn’t heard about it much either because she seemed surprised that the Program was still running.
“I did that once. Worst week of my life,” Melissa thought back to her week in the Program. She thought about that week more than she liked to. Was this a sign she shouldn’t let go of Parent Trap? As Melissa was replaying that night in her mind, the night she broke two hearts, she heard you say that you had been in the Program, and that it had actually done what it was supposed to and inspired her to teach. ‘Lucky for her,’ Melissa thought, genuinely happy that you had a good experience.
Jacob mentioned that it was in Boston this year, and then revealed that he hadn’t read the entire paper by exclaiming confidently, “I’ve never been to Boston in the fall.” Melissa smirked as you corrected him about what time of year it took place in. When he had actually read the paper, he said something about a great opportunity for diversity, and Melissa just rolled her eyes.
Janine piped up again, looking directly at you, “Wait, isn’t that where you met that-”
Poor girl didn’t even get to finish her sentence before you interrupted. “Wonderful teacher who inspired me to follow my dream of inspiring children to learn? Yep, that’s the place!”
Yeah, because that wasn’t suspicious. Melissa gave you an inquisitive look, and she noticed that Barb was giving you a similar one. She also noticed that you didn’t notice either of them because you were too busy having a conversation with Janine through your eyes.
She and Barb decided not to press the issue, so the room turned to discussions of the rest of the day, field trip included. The rest of lunch flew by, and before Melissa knew it, it was time to teach once again.
“This was the best tasting ziti I’ve had in my entire life! You just keep getting better!” Melissa loved when you complimented her food. It made her weak in the knees. Good thing she was still sitting down.
“You say that every time. I think you lying,” Melissa turned to see Mr. Johnson, who had just finished pouring himself a cup of coffee.
“Nope, Mr. J, she just keeps outdoing herself,” you replied to the janitor. Melissa found it extremely difficult to ignore the butterflies anymore, and she couldn’t help the blush rising to her face.
Melissa fought the urge to just tell you how she felt right then and there. Instead, she just smiled and managed to say, “Thanks, hon.”
“Of course! I wouldn’t lie about something so important.” Melissa’s smile broke into an all out cheesy grin. Whether or not you were joking, the idea that anything Melissa did was important to you made her feel all bubbly inside, and she just couldn’t help the big ol’ grin on her face. She watched as you finished cleaning up your spot at the table, and said goodbye to everyone. The redhead’s smile lasted long after she had returned to her classroom for the day.
Melissa didn’t see you again until everyone was boarding the buses. She was so busy getting a headcount that she had forgotten to try and get the seat next to you. By the time she was sure she had all of her little eagles accounted for, you were already sitting with a student. Melissa thought she might be able to sit at least in your vicinity, but one glance showed no available seats except the very front row.
Melissa watched as you talked animatedly with Janine and the students beside you, and took her seat. She attempted to read some of the book she had stashed in her purse, but it proved to be a fruitless labor. The children surrounding her interrupted every other sentence. After a whole three minutes of that, Melissa put the book away and decided to just entertain the children.
The Institute was as fun as Melissa remembered. She’s always down to learn something new about her hometown, okay, just not from some clown who’s not even from Philly. The girl was from New York, for Christ’s sake! Melissa was so frustrated by the fact that this girl from New York was the volunteer guide-‘they’re gettin’ what they paid for, if ya ask me’- that she was focusing like a hawk, paying attention to every word that came out of the girl’s mouth, waiting for her to slip up so she could prove she’s a big phony.
Despite Melissa being so zeroed in with the guide all day, she made sure she was never far enough away from you that she couldn’t see you. She looked over to where you had already laid down your blankets and saw a few children trying to lay practically right on top of you. They were surrounding you, each one trying to get closer than the last it seemed. Sleeping bag in hand, Melissa made her way to you, and when she got close enough, she heard a child whine, “But I wanna sleep next to her!”
She took her opportunity. “Jokes on youse guys. I get that spot,” she said, shooing the children so they would make room. She tossed her sleeping bag on the floor and glanced at you. You had turned to hug a kid who was crying because he couldn’t sleep right beside you. Melissa couldn’t help smiling at how sweet you always were with the kids.
She laid down, laying on her side to face you, and propped her head up in her hand. After you had mirrored her, facing her and propping your own head up, Melissa had to tell you all about the New York girl trying to teach her something about Philly, to which you just smiled at her, before sharing your own excitement from the day. She loved how your eyes shined when you talked about things that excited you, and she couldn’t help but give you a big smile of her own as she listened to you talk.
She was ready to kill the alien that tore her away from you.
A kid had screamed loudly, claiming an alien was here, and the rest of the kids went berserk. Melissa had never seen a group of children disperse so quickly, especially not a group of this size, so she shot up and immediately began trying to reign some of the little humans in. It took almost a half hour, but with all of the teachers from Abbott working together, they got the kids resettled. Melissa thought things were returning to normal, when Gregory came rushing up to you, admitting that he couldn’t find one of his students.
This wasn’t Melissa or Barb’s first rodeo- although it was the first time Barb had been compared to an alien- so they took charge of the situation. They split everyone into pairs, except for Ava who went off to get her eleven hours of sleep, and sent them to different floors to cover the entire Institute. Barb and Melissa went downstairs to search, leaving the younger teachers to search the upper floors.
Barb seemed to think it was the proper time to bug Melissa with more questions about her love life. “You know you can’t have them both, right?” The woman had started.
“What’re ya talkin’ about?” Melissa already knew what Barb meant, but she’d be damned if she gave in to Barb so easily.
“You know exactly what I am talking about. That girl upstairs and the girl from Chicago,” Barb pushed.
“She's not from- Look, I know,” Melissa sighed. “I thought I was ready to- I thought I could move on, but then Jacob this mornin’ with the paper from the Program. What if it was a sign that I shouldn’t let her go?”
“Melissa Ann Schemmenti, you are my dearest friend, and because of that I cannot lie to you. Let. Her. Go. You didn’t even tell the young girl your name, and I’ve only ever heard you refer to her as Parent Trap. Do you even remember her name? How would you know if you found her? You think she carries around your stuffed toy everywhere she goes, on the off chance that she’ll see you, recognize you after all these years, and leap into your arms to ride off into the sunset together?”
“Well, when you say it like that…” Melissa couldn’t look the other woman in the eye. She knew that holding out hope that the young girl would waltz right back into her life one day was fruitless. Some fever dream, but God did she want it so bad.
Then there was you. The woman who took Melissa’s life and flipped it on its head. The woman who had been right by her side for the last two years. The woman who made Melissa smile so much that she might start losing her rough and tough reputation.
Melissa knew what she had to do. She and Barb finished checking all the rooms, and once they confirmed Jamir wasn’t on the first floor, they made their way back to their fellow teachers. As they walked down the hall towards the group, Melissa quietly admitted to Barb some of the thoughts going on in her head, and the plan to tell you how she felt about you.
As they approached, Melissa’s eyes were glued to you until she felt Barb’s hand suddenly grab her wrist. She looked up to see Barb more shocked than Melissa had ever seen the woman. It was like Jesus had appeared in the hall of the Franklin Institute. When Melissa followed her friend’s line of sight, her uninhibited hand flew to clutch Barb’s upper arm.
“Is that-” Barb asked as quietly as she could.
“Ronny,” Melissa whispered, not necessarily in response, more so in shock, but she had answered Barb’s question, nonetheless.
