Several Sentences Sunday

Decided to participate in this for the first time!

This is from the first chapter of the fake dating AU that I'm finally fleshing out from this post :)

“Abby, nice to meet you.” Tommy’s smiling like this is just an average Saturday afternoon for him and Buck really owes him a beer.  “This is so crazy,” Sam begins, “you know I thought I’d never get the chance to see the guy who saved my life again, but here you are! I mean what are the odds?”  “Saved his life, huh?” Tommy asks, a twinkle in his eye.  “Oh, yeah." Buck laughs a little, nervous. "I mean, you know what the job’s like,” he fumbles.  “He rappelled down the side of a flipped train car to pull me out. If he hadn’t been there I would’ve been toast,” Sam says. He grabs Abby’s hand, who’s starting to look a little overwhelmed. Buck knows the feeling.  “That sounds like my guy,” Tommy turns to Buck with a smile, arm tightening around his waist to pull him slightly closer.
