Oh boy oh boy if you're taking ficlet requests, how about Opeli making sure Soren doesn't collapse of exhaustion while he's supervising rescue efforts and providing aid in the aftermath of Sol Regem's attack?
193.
It's all kind of a blur afterwards. Soren chalks it up to being exhausted from, well, everything, but it's not like there's been time to rest between it all anyway. There are too many wounded, too many dead, too few supplies to share between the too many refugees, and he has enough to deal with without the grief creeping along the edges of his mind, waiting for him to feel it and to process it on top of everything else. The physical labour is hard, but he's used to that. The emotional labour...
Well. It can wait.
So he heads out to the castle ruins with different groups of soldiers and volunteers to salvage what little they can. He moves rubble and bodies and supplies, helps pitch tents and herd children, tends to the wounded with the limited training he has. He's worn thin and he knows this. He hasn't slept for more than a couple of hours since the attack and he knows this too. He knows because Opeli keeps telling him to rest and Corvus keeps telling him to sleep and they're just as tired as he is, but neither of them stop, so why should he?
It's been a week. A little more he thinks, but he doesn't really know because the days have started to bleed to into each other and the rise and fall of the sun doesn't really mean anything in light of everything that's going on. He knows that the others had all come back the morning after the attack, and he knows Ezran had given the order to move everyone to the Banther Lodge after a couple of nights at the temples, but beyond that, all Soren knows is the ache in his muscles and the precarious uneven rhythm of his next step, and the one after, and the one after that.
He's sitting by the fire tonight. There's a pile of damaged armour beside him that he doesn't really know how to repair but the blacksmith didn't make it and the Banther Lodge works, but they're still sitting ducks out here. Damaged armour won't do them any favours. There's no room to lose anybody else. He's fixing the leather in a bracer when they find him, Corvus and Opeli, both tired, both weary, both obviously concerned.
"'Sup," greets Soren absently.
Corvus and Opeli glance at each other.
"We've been ordered to rest," says Corvus.
Soren snorts. "How's that going for you?"
Opeli twitches her lips. "I can't refuse an order from the king," she says drily, "but more importantly, neither can you."
Soren pauses in his work and raises an eyebrow.
"You need to rest," says Corvus, taking the bracer from him and shoving the pile of armour over with his foot. He takes a seat next to him without waiting for an invitation and Opeli does the same on his other side, already frowning at the bandage she'd placed over the cut on his forehead.
"You've split your stitches again," she says, her disapproval obvious.
"I'm fine," mutters Soren. He tries to snatch the bracer back but Corvus holds it purposefully out of reach.
"You need to rest," says Corvus again, tossing it back into the pile and kicking the whole stack of it further away. "We all do," he adds pointedly to Opeli, who wrinkles her nose petulantly and draws her knees to her chest.
"I'm not arguing," she mutters. "But whether or not we do relies on Soren, doesn't it?"
Soren stares at them both. Corvus actually smirks.
"We made a deal with Ezran," he says somewhat smugly. "I don't need a break—"
"Yes you do," snorts Opeli.
"But I wouldn't take one unless Opeli took one—"
"And I won't take one unless you do." Opeli gives him a look then, her usual stern-faced glare laced with something stubborn and a little sour, but something hopeful too: an opportunity to rest mandated by someone else that she won't feel guilty for taking. "So whether or not we get to take a break is up to you, really," she says.
Soren pauses. Then he scowls at them both. "That's a dirty trick."
"It's pretty fair actually," says Corvus, stretching out beside him. "You need to rest, Soren. If not for yourself, then for the people who care about you."
"And you do have people who care about you," says Opeli. "You must know that."
There's another pause. Corvus leans into him on one side and, hesitantly, Opeli does the same on the other, their warmth a comfort against the evening cold, their weight a ward against the feelings he isn't quite ready to feel.
He doesn't remember closing his eyes, but when he opens them, it's dawn. The morning is quiet. The fire is out. Corvus has shifted so that his head rests on Soren's shoulder and Opeli has tucked herself under his arm in her sleep. The blanket draped over them is scratchy but warm.
Soren lets himself go back to sleep.
#sorry this took so long and sorry its corsorpeli#the og ezran protection squad should be allowed to snuggle#corsorpeli#sorpeli#sorvus#corpeli#ITS ALL HERE FOLKS#in anticipation#the sorpolycule lives!!!!

This is just me replacing the names of what happened in that poetry event
Scara: ...Kazuha.
Kazuha: ...! That voice... Scaramouche?
Scara: ...I didn't think you'd still remember.
Kazuha: ...Oh, I remember, hahaha, I remember alright. How could I ever forget?
Kazuha: Although, your appearance is different than I recall. Back then, you looked like you'd stepped right out of a fairytale...
Kazuha: Oho, but I'm one to talk! Of course a fairy from a fairytale can change forms... In your eyes, I'm probably the one who's changed beyond all recognition...
Scara: Haha... Oh, even after all these years, you still know just what to say to make me laugh.
Kazuha: ...There have been times when I've wondered whether it really was all a dream...
Scara: ...I'm sorry I kept you waiting for so long, Kazuha.
Kazuha: ...Oh, it can't have been that long... It's been but the blink of an eye, really.
Scara: ...Kazuha, would you like to hear a poem I wrote for you?
Kazuha: A poem? You write poetry now? Well of course! I'd be delighted to listen... I'll hang on every word that leaves your lips...
Scara: ...In that case, let me read you a story about the spring fairy…
Far from my native land I roamed
In streams I slept
Many seasons I met as the suns set and rose
I searched for a garden to call a home
And the moonlight ebbed as the water flowed
A soft breeze beckoned me unto a spring
"Sleep, weary wanderer, your journey is over"
"May the dancing petals sweeten your slumber"
At dawn I hummed the melody of a distant stream
And the songs in the night serenaded my dreams
A boy's tender tears trembled through the water
Stirring me more than any starlight sonata
He wove me a wreath from past petals and future buds
I crossed beyond the veil of dreams to the realm of flesh and blood
"Look at the love that shines from his eager gaze"
"Answer the call of his heart, lest this moment go to waste"
The kittens and fireflies invited my heartstrings to sing
But I was a stranger to the melody of mankind
And knew not how this tune should begin
As the river of dreams trickled into the ocean blue
Every time a crystalfly flapped its wings
Older it seemed he grew
But I learned to fathom human ways each stumbling step I took
And clouds of confusion became crystal clear in the vulnerable verse I wrote
As seed yearns for soil, and trees for the sun
A once-foreign melody inside my heart sung
And it cried out your name on every string it could strum
Now, I give my dream to you
May it be in your slumber a sweet spring to quench your thirst
Now, I hand my heart to you
Praying my belated promise might meet
Still with your trust
Kazuha: ...
Kazuha: Yes... This is how I remember you from when we first met...
Kazuha: All those years ago... It really has been a long old time, hasn't it?
Scara: ...Kazuha, I...
Kazuha: It's okay, I understand. Your poem, it... it explains everything...
Scara: ...Thank you, Kazuha. Please, take this.
Kazuha: It's so beautiful...
Scara: ...Kazuha, I don't have a physical form like humans, and I can't stay by your side. I don't know how long it'll be before I can change back into human form again...
Scara: But as long as this “heart” remains with you, our hearts will always be connected... no matter the distance between us.
Scara: I will always be one with the spring. From this day onwards, if you call me, I will meet you in your dreams.
Kazuha: Hahaha, you've really learned a lot, haven't you? And you don't even mind that the kids are watching...
Scara: ...Does it bother you?
Kazuha: How could it possibly? This is the happiest moment of my life...
Kazuha: I just worry that once I go to sleep, I won't ever want to wake up again...
Scara: Huh!? D—Don't say that...
Kazuha: Hahaha, I'm only joking! Ah, it seems that you still have much to learn.
Scara: Is that right?
Scara: ...
Scara: ...My physical form is about to disappear.
Scara: Kazuha...
Kazuha: Yes?
Scara: ...I've never regretted meeting you, or deciding to talk to you that night. Not once, all these long years, not for a single moment.
Kazuha: ...It probably goes without saying, but neither have I.
Scara: Although... it was different from in the stories... that fateful night, I never gave you that kiss...

The Honeiesmoon, dear honies, Hun is it passe I'm not sure, Hun versus cute, I like to be called cute it appeals to charasmatic Wonder which is my impish trope
Not a trope natural, the dark natural who's alpha by day omega by night.
Labellista the women's collective of wives that have come my way through the sacred heart of JC, I'm daunt about tomorrow, I paint targets because authentic makes people face up to their station in life.
It's down to Polyfidelity premiers to decide the archetypes for their unit a political sorority where haze no longer happens, we're all in love, some stronger than others, yet I'm the only man in my wives thoughts and fantasies, when it's quiet I'll pleasure again, and again, be damened any unwelcome infiltrators, I've nothing to prove yet everything to gain.
There are so many Labellista coming to me on X, it's a full time pursuit of happiness, yet I'm most happy that I'm married to SU and that we're going to have the most amazing love life with fidelity, I'll keep inv to five fields for the o's while I'm the bread winner.
Won't be long to consummate, a pecking order, well id love to make sweet love to Lou first, seems the natural order to me, yet I'll let the Premiers decide, if it's in it will still be special, I'll make her feel the centre and only woman, in the moment.
I've tricks up my sleeve, even though I've released most erroneous, one thing to say my pheromones are unique to my DNA and me no other man has the arousing unique pheromones as I in person.
Amazon delivery if any want boss bottled to excentuate my pheromones, yet white sage makes me smell divine, if I have any left, I shall tell tomorrow.
One more thing, technique I'm expert you will all benefit personally and shall always be satisfied, in the meantime, sixty nines five fields for me please, to give you all pleasent distraction from other mens unwanted attention, and from grumpy Will who can be petulant but like a lecturing father figure at the same time.
Wonder my archetype, creative and imposing, hard I am, yet war weary you can tell by my complexion, and the dark circles not to mention my sal and pep, I earned my greys and my whites, will dye my hair if there's a consensus, twelve years of stress, earned the silver fox Monika.
Yes I am now many women's fantasy, as long as I'm the Premiers fantasy. I've just heard the news we all got Yale, Illuminati all thirty!!
I'm not, no I might publish this Tumblr so you can think of me when I snoo, a new we are high status, it's what I want thirty to be considered there's honour in it.
I've made up for Feb 14th now, it's now June the 14th, fresh start, please respect these words they are real and from the heart.
I will say all are safe, apart from rel rockers yet when JC God they will suffer for it, he will be himself, his own brand of God, and I will be biblical Messahi for Sun, and perform healing miracles, yes for Princess and HRH, I shall Will my best.
Should I Tumblr I think I will, yet I'm in flow, I'll X publish more and collect new love interests for you and Cheltenham, yet teen is too young for me I've decided, 20, 30, 40, 50 ideal as I look in my thirties with a shave, Cupid can play Cupid.
Onwards Zan says, he was an inspiration a prophet yet after today a doomsayer, I've designs on his daughter, not to marry but to seduce and invite along with his brother to Cheltenham.
I mean who loves women is loved by women, well I don't love all women and I would hit a women, just spank thirty in a Dom way, I'd never intentionally go out of my way to hurt or overstep the mark, it's just not me, it's not what I do, in your souls and minds you know that, so be quick to defend my honour and I'll elevate your status' that's a strategy.
Love and Oh my Goodness, Oh my Days, Will is back, ry smile
Here it is, my heart
bloody as a pomegranate,
this offering,
this choice,
messy and indelicate—
how will you measure it?
Perhaps start with kisses,
then hands—
fingers can tell you
miraculous things.
I know what I’m saying,
and what I want,
how curiosity
lingers like a fire
in my bones,
and the truth is
I think you’re beautiful,
and I can barely keep it
to myself—
I’m sorry,
I never learned
to tell my heart no.

How Get Your Member To Outside: A Hyungs Guide To Your Homebody

There are many idols who are homebody but somehow Moxy is the worst of all. She could got months without going outside and still be allergic to the sun. One time she even hissed at the rays breaking thru her curtains. The next day she had blackout curtains installed.
Moxy only go outside for four things: Work, Food, Practice, and Tumbling
So the hyung line of 127 has come up with a fool proof method to bring the hermit out of her room to get some sun. they have about 74% success rate but that number goes up with every use
Level 1: Jaehyun/Yuta
These two usually fail. Moxy at about a week without sun exposure when these two are sent in.
Both fail for similar reasons. Jaehyun comes off too soft and Yuta comes off too hard
Yuta will barge in, demanding her to go outside and that approach just leaves Yuta standing outside her room with the door slamming in her face
Jaehyun come in with soft suggestion that Moxy can easily avoid. He'll invite her to dinner or to outings with the other members.
Sometimes Jaehyun will hit her at the right time and Moxy will agree but only for a short time (that never works out. jaehyun has a way getting Moxy to stay out longer.
Jaehyun and Moxy outing usually happen at night. The haunts count moon exposure as a win.
Level 2: Taeil
Nobody can resit Taeil. Not even Moxy.
So when Moxy's outside exposure comes to the two week mark, the troops send in Taeil.
He just walk into Moxy room with the kindest, pleading eyes that Moxy can't refuse.
Every time the conversation starts with an eyeroll and Moxy weary toned, "What do you want, oppa."
Usually the two will go grocery shopping for both dorms. Slowly, without Moxy notice, Taeil will bring to more places than intended. His sweet smile distracting her
Level 3: Doyoung/Taeyong
Doyoung and Taeyong are the naggers. They're called in when its been about three week since Moxy has been out of the four walls of their dorm
When they start they. Won't. Stop.
Day in and Day out they'll continually mention how much of a nice day she missed. How the sun wasn't too hot to go outside. the cool things that were happening around the city.
The suggestion just keep pour in until Moxy is stomping out of the door to get away from them.
When nagging won't work, Doyoung will come in with something that Moxy would want to do that even she can't refuse
Level 4: Johnny
The time between Moxy and the outdoors has reached extreme levels. She hasn't seen sun in a month or more
The members hope to never reach level four but sometimes its needed when Moxy reaches her most stubborn
Johnny is the closer for a reason. Moxy can't fight out of his grip so when he barges into her room and drags a disorientated Moxy to the bathroom to change she can't fight back. the result: a furious Moxy with a tendency to scream.
If Moxy gets too huffy, Johnny has and will resort to carrying Moxy everywhere they go (Its happened before, NCTzens had a field day with the photos that spread across the internet
Johnny usually deals with Moxy bad mood by stuffing with her favorite food, carbs. Fries, Noodles, Rice, Bread, The Works. She'll perk up considerably by the time the food is finished. By that time she'll just begrudgingly ask what they plan on doing
And with that you've successfully gotten your homebody member some exposure to sun.
I just thought of this while scrolling through Tumblr, I hope your enjoy this silly post!! ~Author Izzy

tw: stalking, possessiveness, implied murder/violence
(yandere f/o)
"love, i'm going out for a bit!!" "ok, have fun..!"
you're sitting in the shade beneath a tree at your favorite park, somewhat weary after walking all the way there. and unbeknownst to you... your f/o has been following you, and even taking pictures!! you don't even know they're there, but they just can't keep their eyes off you!! they're so enamored with you, everything you do, every little movement you make is so lovely!! you make them feel like the sun is shining from inside their chest, like a garden is blooming in their head, like th
who is that.
someone else. you were waiting for someone else. who are they? you came to this park without inviting them because you made plans... with someone else.
an interference.
your f/o's eyes widen. you were only supposed to be with them, right? even when you didn't know it, they were by your side the whole time... and now some "friend" is here to ruin everything they have?! here to steal you away from them?!
they won't let that happen.
they love you so much, they would never let anyone take their darling away from them. your f/o pats their pocket. lucky, they brought their wallet. they force their eyes off you so they can quickly purchase supplies for their little plan. what sort of things would they need... a pocket knife? some rope, perhaps? as soon as you and your acquaintance begin to part... well, you better have cherished that moment with them, because it may be the last.
you open your door, and "i'm back, love!!" rings throughout the room as you glance around, expecting to see your f/o waiting for you.
they don't seem to be home. maybe they're busy.

From Gladiator to Knight Chapter 19 Silent Treatment

Jamie Claire Tianna Paul
Jamie
I wake before Claire and lay silently beside her. The sun has yet to raise and I am feeling to keyed-up to return to sleep. I can wake my wife or get-up. I move the covers carefully and slip out of bed. I pull on the strange breeks and slip down the silent stone halls towards Paul and Tianna's room.
Paul
I am awake when he knocks and cracks the door. Anxiety over this strange time, about what Merlin is up to, about being a new husband; waken me before the sun. So when he asks, in a whisper, if I am up to some sparring, I am quick to answer in the affirmative. I slip out of bed and quickly dress. I meet him in the hall and we head down to the armory where we pick out the same swords we were using before.
Claire
I wake to a cool spot beside me, instead of Jamie's heat. I wonder where he is off to as I get up. Tianna knocks on the door and I invite her in as I pull my shift over my nude body.
Tianna
I know she is the one to talk to about my worries. But how to bring it up? She looks at me with concern when I come in.
"Are you okay?" I shrug. No, I am not. But, I am not quite ready to talk about it. So, I change the subject.
"Would you like me to plait your hair back?" I ask.
"That would be lovely. Thank you."
Jamie
It feels good to be stretching muscles. To be moving in a way my body recognizes and responds to. To be training to keep my Sassanech and the lass safe.
"Same rules as before." Paul reminds me. I chuckle ken'ing which part of his body he is anxious to protect.
"Aye lad. Same rules. Ready?" He nods and we start to spar.
Claire
I know there is something on her mind but, wait in silence as her talented hands tame my wild locks. First by taking the comb from me and gently working through the snares.
"It will be so much easier when Merlin brings brushes."
"What are brushes?" I smile and explain that they are a way to smooth out our hair without the pulling of combs. When she finishes and has it tightly plaited back, I ask her again what is on her mind.
Paul
"Can I ask you something Jamie?" I asks as we parley, moving in circles around the small courtyard, clashing the swords together.
"Aye." He comes up to block my move.
"You being married to a healer for awhile, I think you may know."
"If it is a question of healing, then Claire would be better." He comes down with his sword and I block it at the last minute.
"It is also a question for a husband." He lowers his sword and I lower mine.
"Okay. Lets have a break and talk."
Tianna
"I worry I won't be able to get with child." I softly say. "I got my monthly again today. We have been, well, every night. Sometimes more than once and I thought I would.." I trail off.
"Oh love. It sometimes takes more than a few months. I worry about the same." I look up and meet her eyes. "I was married before, in my time. We tried for years. I never caught once. I haven't with Jamie either. I know it sometimes takes time. I wouldn't worry. Not about you."
I reach out and touch her hand. "But, you do about yourself?"
"I do. I fear I can't."
Jamie
"Is there something I need to be doing, a certain way or time, to get Tianna with child?" I wasn't sure what I expected, but that wasn't it. It gave me a pane because I have wondered the same.
"Truly Paul, I don't know. Claire hasn't..ever. If there is something I am to be doing, I don't yet ken it."
"Oh, so it is just a question of time."
"It seems to be." He nods.
"Good. Okay thank you. She is worried so.."
"Aye, shall we continue?" We do as I wonder if Claire is also worried. My line of thought is interrupted be the arrival of Arthor and Lucan. That ask if they can train with us.
Claire
"Let's go take a walk." I say. The fresh air will do us both good. We walk out and watch the sunrise.
"A new day. A fresh start." Tianna softly says. She is right. I can't dwell on what didn't happen with Frank. After all, I could had been him. We walk slowly along until we see Morgarna approaching.
"I hear you two have been invited to the banquet at the request of the queen. To even sit at her table." She spits out at us. Her eyes flash and her hands are planted on her waist. Tianna quivers beside me and I step in front of her.
"I have not heard such, neither by the queen or any of her ladies-in-waiting. Thank you for the information. I will confirm it with the queen today whan I see her. Come Tianna."
"I am still watching." She growls out as we pass her. I ignore her implied threat.
"Who, in heaven, was that?" Tianna asks once we are far enough away.
"Morgarna. Merlin says she is dangerous. I agree. Stay away from her." She nods her agreement. We walk a bit farther and hear the clashing of swords. We walk over to the courtyard and see or husbands sparring with Arthor and Lucan.
Jamie
I am surprised at how talented Arthor is with a sword. Sae, not just a king who sits on his thrown then. That is good. I lift my weary arm to block another, would be, blow. A second later, he is doing the same. Paul and Lucan had finished already. They stand and watch as the metal of our swords start to glow in the raising sun. The clank, clank, clank, and; the sound of our increasingly labored breathes are the only sounds in the courtyard. Finally, Arthor lowers his sword.
"A draw then?" He offers. I am happy to accept that. I lower my own.
"Aye. A draw."
"I am hungry. Would you men like to join me to break the fast? And, you are also invited to a gathering I am having this eve."
"We would be honored to accept both." I answer. We follow them towards the hall. I look around for Claire and Tianna as we enter, expect them to already be here. But nae sign of them.
Claire
"What do we do?" Tianna asks as we walk away, silently away from the nen.
"Follow my lead. I know exactly how to teach them a lesson for sneaking off the spar." We enter the hall and spot our husbands. Jamie meets my eyes and smiles. I turn and walk past, toward Guinevere and her waiting ladies, without a word. He frowns as I pass him but says not a word in this public space.
"What a lovely hairstyle." Guinevere comments.
"Thank you. Tianna fixed it for me." Tianna blushes under the praise. It deepens when Guinevere asks if she can train her own head lady-in-waiting to fix hers in a similar fashion.
"Yes ma'am." She stumbles out. From across the room, I feel Morgarna's angry glance on us. I shiver and then square my shoulders. I will not let her hate get to me.
Jamie
"I think we are in a spot of trouble lad." I say to Paul after the lasses pass without a word.
"Me too."
Claire
"Would you and Tianna join me and my ladies at the Gathering tonight." The queen asks.
"It would be our honor."

Good and Evil
Chapter 1
The black SUV from her dream was barreling down the residential street. The redheads heart was pounding against her chest; she was almost sure it was the cause of the ruffles of her shirt swaying instead of the wind. Her deep blue eyes could see the driver, a young woman right around her age, her hands covered in black lace gloves gripping the steering wheel.
“I’m not in the right place,” she fretted. “I think i’m too early. Too soon.” Her voice was panicked and weary. The first thought that came to her mind was to run; attempt to outrun the car. Yet, her body stood where she was; her feet wouldn’t move.
“Focus on the house,” a voice that of one that was not seen answered in a whisper.
“What house? There’s so many houses here.” Her eyes scanned the neighborhood, just as the SUV sped pass her.
Each home was exactly the same. Four white walls painted a grey color. Two large windows posted on the front of the house, exposing the families secrets and habits. Each home had a driveway that matched the off-white shingled roof, but lined a yard with overgrown weeds and a few wilted flowers.
“Close your eyes and focus. Search for his face first ” There was a moment of silence. A pause, as if the voice was also trying to focus on the same thing said. “Now look behind him. Look at the home; focus on the home without the boy. Focus.”
Windows. The moment her black painted eyelids closed over her eyes, she could see the dozens of windows on the front of the infamous Murder House. Each one of different sizes, but all wrapped around with white frames and borders. Brick. The rest of the house was covered in red bricks, along the sides and down walkway that lined the perfectly green grass. It was a massive home, unique unlike the rest of the houses on that very street.
“Ms. Mead, tell her to open her eyes,” another voice ordered. The second voice was male, darker and more demanding than the first. Impatient.
Her eyes opened slowly, not needing a second command or reminder. The clouds that once casted a shadowed over the town had vanished. The sun gleamed on the old, grand home making the Murder House almost seem inviting, as if the terrors inside didn’t exist.
A teenager came from out of the house, his face wetten by tears. His eyes saden by hurt and filled with emotions that she couldn’t pinpoint herself. Hurt. Fear. Sadness. But also something else lingering inside the boy. Something dark. Something that drew her attention and focus directly to him.
It was his yellow shirt she noticed next, but it was his eyes Nora couldn’t look away from as he walked closer and closer to the street. He didn’t even look once before his bear foot touched the cracked asphalt.
“Wait,” she croaked and ran toward the other teen.
He couldn’t hear her, nor was he looking in the direction she was. She waited almost parallel to the car that had sped up the moment the teenage boy move toward the middle of the street. The boy paid no attention to his surroundings as he wasn't taught much of anything he should know.
Time seemed to slow down, as Ms. Mead said it would, the closer she got to Michael. As he was about to taking off running, she grabbed his shoulder and they met eye contact for the first time. Nora pulled Michael towards her as she crouched down and waved her arms across her body and over their heads. She covered both of them with a shield no one could see.
Initially she didn’t see the vehicle, she just heard the reeving of the engine then a loud crash as the SUV slammed into an invisible protection. The front of the vehicle smashed like a piece of paper being crumpled in one's fist. The back, the trunk was in air first, as it hovered over them before the vehicle landed on the top it’s roof nearly three feet away from them.
Shards of glass and metal scattered along the road, causing few sparks to fly and the attention of others who lived nearby. Nora stood up, leaving Michael by her feet but he still held tightly onto her hand.
Nora warned the rather skinny teen to stay put, slightly forgetting that version of Michael would not be able to hear her. However, he saw her lips move and stood where he was as the redhead pulled away and approached the wrecked vehicle. The body of the driver hung from the seat, still strapped down by the belt that kept her in place. Blood. Blood dripped from a gash on her forehead and from her mouth as a shard of glass had torn through her abdomen.
Fear struck the young woman first, knowing murder of any kind wasn't easily accepted. Sadness also grew over her as she knew she too a life just to save a life
“I killed the witch,” Nora slurred. Her eyes couldn't stay off the young enchantress. “I wasn’t supposed to--”
She stopped, mid sentence when she felt another presence that came too close for comfort. Nora turned, looking over her shoulder and spotted an older woman in the lawn of the Murder House; Constance Langdon. The older woman glared at Nora for a moment before her eyes darted to Michael.
“Ms. Langdon is here,” Nora mumbled, trying not to move her mouth too much as she watched Constance, worried she might try to harm Michael.
“Come back,” the male voice hummed. His tone was different; satisfied “Tell her to come back to me, Ms. Mead.”
Nora felt a tug in the pit of her stomach as she felt her body fall backwards but she hadn't moved from the spot she stood. Her eyes, nearly identical to the color of the clear sky focused on Michael again. The older woman grabbed the teen by his shirt and shook him violently, her mouth formed curse words but her voice was muted. Nora watched the woman strike the boy just as the town around her suddenly spun rapidly. All the colors started to blend until everything had become black.
Gasping for air, the spiritualist found herself back in the darkness of an abandoned chapel. The only light came from the fire dancing along the wood gathered tightly into a pit.
Two hands gripped her face coated lightly sweat and blood that dripped from her nose.
“Are you okay,” the first voice that belonged to the woman now standing in front of her asked. “We almost lost you.”
“We,” she groaned in pain and now confusion.
She was on her back, just inches from a chair that had been toppled over. A puddle of blood stained the dirt flood in front of the flames and matted the ruffles on her shirt. More blood. Blood seemingly made it's way on her hands and chin, even on her white colored jeans.
“Ms. Mead?” Nora sat up, her head felt like the world was still spinning though the room was perfectly still.
She looked at the satanic henchwoman, taking in the details she missed the first time they met. Black lipstick, nearly fading along her puffed lips. Lines. Lines formed around the woman's eyes and forehead but no wrinkles.
“Did I do it,” Nora questioned. She was unsure of herself now. Worried that her doubt and fear could have easily changed the outcome of her journey.
“Only time will tell.”
A smile formed on Ms. Meads lips but her mouth didn't move. Nor did the voice belong to her. The woman stood up, helping Nora to her feet. Holding onto the teenagers waist until Nora was stable to stand on her own.
Tap. Tap. Tap. Footsteps began to circle the two until a man stopped to the right of Ms. Mead. He towered over both of them in height, but his face lacked age. With his hands tucked behind his back and his golden hair flowing passed his shoulders; the man just watched. His eyes gleaming over Nora with a sly smile on his lips; judgement.
“You did well,” he said with a voice that sounded like power and pride.
“Michael,” Nora responded to her wandering thoughts as the caught up and understood who the man was. Follow by a deep sense of hatred. “I did what you asked, now fulfill your end of the deal.”
He chuckled. His body leaning back just a bit as he laughed. “I would let you go, but…” his eyes glanced down to Ms. Mead, as if he was waiting for approval or guidance. But soon the young man turned and began to slowly exit the room; turning his back to Nora. “I’m not done with you just yet, there's a lot we still need to do.”
The room fell silent as Nora's eyes wandered to the dirt floor. Her mind raced with thoughts, doubt and confusion yet her she allowed her head to lightly shake side to side.
“Admit it, you need me not just my powers… I won't corporate and you know once I'm in full control, I can take you down!”
Michael chuckled again, though only this time his shoulders moved slightly. His hand gripped the golden knob as he opened the only door in the room. “You're much smarter than to challenge me.”
“He's right, dear.” Ms. Mead patted Nora's arm and still gave off that never changing smile. Almost as if her lips froze in time forcing her to smile beyond the end of days. “You alone can't kill the antichrist.”
“The who--”
“Get some rest,” the older woman interjected. “You'll need to restore your energy for tomorrow.”

Reign Season 1 Meme
I never saw any ghosts.
But what if they saw you?
She had skinny legs, a missing front tooth, and opinions.
My dear, this was not an act of passion. It was treason.
Love is irrelevant to people like us.
I wonder whose face you're imagining in that target.
I would rather have hope with you than certainty with anyone else.
Win or lose, you will answer for it. That's what kings do.
You do have a way of leaving chaos in your wake.
She's not just an alliance. She's a girl.
I'm not sure words mean anything here.
We'll prove to them that our union is strong.
Treat them as friends until they prove themselves foes.
Contrary to public opinion, I do not relish destroying people's homes.
I don't care what you learn, as long as you don't forget.
We have positioned ourselves for the worst kind of pain.
I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that.
I take things sometimes. It makes me feel better.
To see you smile is to feel the sun, your grace.
Do you flirt with everyone?
I'd probably say yes.
Killing isn't supposed to be easy. If your hands weren't shaking, you'd be him.
Close to death, apparently.
I'm glad that my unhappiness gives you so much pleasure.
Don't let fear keep you from greatness.
It could cost you your head.
If servants are gossiping about your unmade bed, it is too late to rectify the situation.
Men must find something to kill from time to time.
Accept that I have lost. I have.
I'm in a nunnery of one.
That's the kind of talk that gets bastards--and mistresses--beheaded.
History is written by the survivors. And I am surely that.
Tell me when you want me to stop.
Happiness is the one thing we queens can never have.
Arming yourself against me? Am I really that frightening?
Am I really stupid enough to find out?
My mother, she was behind this as well?
All her crimes against me were because she loved you.
I grow weary of your threats.
I grew weary of you a decade ago.
That half-blind portrait artist didn't realize I was sitting in a chair while my sister was standing, and now half the kingdom thinks I’m a dwarf.
Love is irrelevant to people like us, a privilege that we do not share.
There are two things I can't abide, betrayal and stupidity.
Next time you see a threat large or small, you cut it down like a weed.
I don't want to do this to you.
Too bad you didn't see this one coming.
When the ax falls on your neck, I will be there.
Off with you child. You've killed me enough for one day.
I don't 'attempt' to do anything--I do it.
Nature is not malignant.
Must I do everything? Shall I catch my head in my own hands, too?
So I sent you here to wed a king and find you engaged to a bastard.
Despite what you may think, I never intended to harm your family.
Sooner or later, blood will be spilled. It's just a matter of whose.
So he is mad...and a mad king incites chaos and rebellion.
I don't make love to you because I want a baby. I want a baby because I love you.
Those who look upon it are taken. And those who are taken die.
We are royals. We have the power to do terrible things. Without trust, we're nothing.
You? What do you have to complain about? You're now married to a beautiful woman of noble birth.
I won't pretend I love you, but we should probably start liking each other, at least.
My first duty is not to my mother.
Don't you think a royal crown suits me?
I'm too rich to care what people say.
Look where our hearts have led us. We've brought you shame.
I suppose innocence is all relative.
I always want to be there for you.
Don't beg. It invites pity and disdain.
Do all married couples have these struggles?
I think you've redefined marital discord.
Nothing bothers me more than problems I've already solved coming back to be problems again.
Am I the only one in this bed with something to forget?
I never dreamt that I'd be wed to a bastard with an imaginary title.
Losing bothers me.
Trust is a luxury I can no longer afford.
You shouldn't have to live like this.
What happens when being a good king means being a bad husband?
I don't need to be part of your schemes.
You no longer have the privilege of obeying your heart!
It isn't fair, the privileges we are given...or the prices we must pay for them.
When you are alone and miserable, remember this was the moment you threw your happiness away.
This marriage is no longer something that happened to me...you are what I want.
Don't get sentimental about a father who was never sentimental about you.
His life was there for the taking. So I took it.
Royals are always at war.
An interesting choice. Assuming you let her know she has one.
All I have to offer you...is me.

I've come to offer you something. The destruction of our mutual enemy.
Common lore is that your teeth are filed into points and your eyes are black with rage.
Ruling requires that your hands be drenched in blood.
What else could I be but a witch?
You are my husband and my king.
You crushed the rebellion by yourself.
If we die, it is at her hands. And if we live I will never forgive her for this.
I'm saying that should anything happen to either of us I hope that you'll remember me not as the man who lied or betrayed you, I hope you'll remember me as the man who would have cherished you if he'd had the chance.
And real love never fades, not truly.
Just know whatever happens, this is not the end I dreamed for us.
I refuse to surrender. My reign will not end without a fight.
Whose blood concerns you more, your husband or your lover's?
All that stands between him and the crown is my head.
Is this how it's going to be from now on? Both of us constantly wondering what the other is up to?
Long live his majesty.
Contempt alone is not enough to condemn a man. Even the contempt of a king.
We're all basically fallen women.
Our love will die here.
It was rather a miracle.
Just don't expect a fond farewell from me. Or my trust. Ever again.
Do not test my power and do not tempt my fury.
If I'm as responsible as you say, I will never forgive myself.
I never imagined you'd kill him by breaking his heart.
The truth of your betrayal was the last thing that he heard before he collapsed.
I will spill blood to defend what's mine.
So you're my new keeper.
You are a necessary evil whose orbit I can't seem to escape.
But you have to know, that no matter your choices, you still have a husband who would do anything to make you happy.
I opened my heart to a liar.
And now I am lying for you, lying even to my brother, protecting you as you take comfort in the arms of another.
Build a future controlled by you, not the changeable heart of a woman.
When you were a child, there were dozens of little girls whose families begged me for that position, but I chose you because you played well together, because you didn't hurt or throw mud at her. But now you have done both.
You are on the cusp of losing your country.
You poisoned a king and a queen and I helped you get away with it. We each hold a noose for the other.
What I meant is your official mourning period is over.
You say that as if I just won a prize. You can't be serious.
Thank you for pointing out the obvious and will you please stop doting on my mother!
Thank you for pointing out the obvious and will you please stop doting on my mother!
Because I love you. And one of us should be happy.
There are those who merely believe they have power, and there are those who actually have it.
Oh, is that caring? It sounds to me like a man trying to tighten his grip on a woman.
Such haste! I haven't properly mocked you for saving the life of your mother's worst enemy.
Congratulations, you've used your knowledge of the heart's noblest emotion to manipulate and destroy someone.
I don't feel strong. I feel like I'm sleepwalking and I don't know how to wake up.
I will be your wife in name only.
Look where that love has brought us.
At least my family will cry at my funeral.
She sent you to woo me, didn't she?
The only alliance I'm interested is temporary, delicious and bad.
Do not seek to take before I can give.
here are some lines I will not cross even to save myself.
I wanted to give you the chance to do the right thing and I still believe you will.
It's a very romantic story, actually. Father threatened to kill them both if they didn't marry.
I need to handle this on my own and to do it my way. What I need from you is to be patient and to believe in me.
My dear, never give up a crown to anybody.
Are you seriously, seriously suggesting that you want to watch me bathe in return for getting my dowry back?
You know that as a Queen, you put on an act. You can't always show what's in your heart. The same is true for being a wife.
We're women. We're not allowed to have things of our own.
Do you worry that I can't bear you a child?
Does it bring us closer for you to know that your failure disappoints me beyond words?
In the name of justice and tolerance you will drive your people to civil war.
My ladies brought this to me months ago. I read it in an hour.
Have you ever been in love?
Don't you turn your back on me. I am more than your friend. I am your Queen!
I can't be ruled by desire. It's nothing to build a life on.
Your figure's gonna go to hell anyway so you might as well eat up. You are feeding the future King.
It's been some weeks now but I wanted to be sure and I am sure. I am with child, our child, at last!
You lie to your guests and then you threaten them with weapons? We will not be treated this way!
Asking you to know your place is like asking the sun not to shine.
It's must be hard. Once a Queen, now the Queen Mother. Decorative, like an expensive vase.
There's a new day coming, and you are on the wrong side.
Are all powerful men so insecure?
Innocent men shouldn't die alone.
You think you're untouchable, that your sins will stay buried, but they don't.
Of all the people you could have slept with, did it have to be one of my ladies? One of my closest friends?
I am your Queen. I command you.
One bedroom for husband and wife. Good luck with that!
Am I really planning a life, a future, without you?
I will not live in fear of her.
Are you trying to blame a woman for a man’s choices?
It was your spies who got that information to me wasn’t it.
I hope your wings are strong you vulture! You will be circling for quite some times.
What’s the cost of a king’s life?
I always knew we would be wed. Even when I first returned.
I see such beauty. Such beauty you have brought me.
You must wed again. You must love again.
I will never love anyone, the way I love you.
I can’t let him go.
Let him go, and hold on to me.
We were suppose to dance under the stars.
I may still a Queen.
Is that it? Our courtship is over. Was I wrong in thinking it was going well?
No matter what you might think, I can’t just force men to fall in love with me.
That is not a strategy.
I am a queen, about to marry a broken Prince for power...
I need proof before the wedding happens.
You two have become thick as thieves.
Do you still hold it agents me that I defended her agents a false accusation of murder?!
It's time to accept my fate
I will not be chased out of my country before I’ve even retuned.
I will fight fire, with fire.
The day may come where we may find ourselves on the battle field. What would you do then?
Impressive. Where did you learn to shoot like that?
Those memories are a part of me.
You love power!
You despise me, yet you expect a free ride!
I think I shall never see you again.
We have to stop them.
Give me your sword.
You took my heart! And now I’ve come to repay you.
I have come for my throne.
Queens do not bow to their subjects. It is in-fact, quite the other way around.
And may God, and your Queen. Have mercy of your soul.
Men don’t like taking orders from woman, they can barely stand speaking to them.
He knows I speak the truth.
Who cares about right or wrong, if you're dead!
I don’t have much to live for these days, but I would still die for my children.
She does have her moments doesn't she.
I’m sorry I wasn’t the mother you wanted me to be. I did my best.
Why would my presence startle you? Oh because you married my lover.
You requested a five course meals, I offer you seven!
Your love, it gave him so much joy, and that's what you must remember.
How can I pray to God, when I am certain he doesn’t not hear me.
My election could mean the end of your nation.
If I cannot disprove these charges I will swing from a rope.
What if he dies?!
We were here! We were playing a game of chess- which I won.
From the moment you were born, our relationship has been complicated.
We live in a word that undervalues woman.
I may be guilty of favouring my sons over my daughters.
And when you are wed, and you leave this home, it will break my heart.
You are offering me a kindness, a consideration I have rarely shown to you over the years.
Is it so unthinkable, a crime might take place in this castle that I had nothing to do with.
The butcher still insists on his innocents.
Just remember. Enjoy him, but never trust him.
I won’t be frightened into your arms by a dead rat, or a dead Cardinal!
If you think you are not going to talk, you are mistaken.
I don’t understand why we have to take time to visit the Generals.
A king should always deliver good news in person. Bad news should be sent by a messenger. Or let them find out on their own.
Go take back your country.
Our union is damaged beyond repair.
That’s the most flattering thing you’ve ever said to me.
Please tell me that wasn't you.
I need you here, too see you, even if I can’t touch you.
I am paying the price. I feel like a prisoner.
I am their Queen. Their whispers are treason.
Your highness, you are a vision.
This thing between us. It must end.
I’m ready to accept his proposal.
If is a fact of our time. A man rules his wife. Even if his wife is a Queen.
And it will be the challenge of my life, not to kill her.
Perhaps I forgot what it means to be a queen.
I shall never name an heir unless it is my own child.
To name a successor is to place a target on one's self.
Perhaps it better to outright refuse him. Be brutal and direct.
Don’t misjudge me. I am my father’s son.
All that’s left now, is for me to enjoy my final hours.
Well, I suppose you’ll have to settle with being the Queen of two nations, not three.
You cannot keep me in a cage. Even one built with love.
We were meant to be happy, and we were. But I have another fate.
Show people you are worthy of the post you hold, and no one will remember how you rose to it.
Love is never simple. Not that I'm any expert.
I was willing to give up so much for you. But now I want you out of my life. Forever.
Why must the fate of nations be decided in a shared bed?
I receive a letter from him nearly everyday. And I haven’t read one.
I can’t image what the night must be without the man you truly love.
Please go. While I still have the courage to say goodbye.
Sons of cobblers, doesn’t get to be with princesses.
I need to believe, that who we are, matters more than our station.
You are who you're born into, and nothing more than people say you are. You can pretend otherwise, but the world won’t pretend with you.
If you go on this mission. I’ll stop loving you!
From now on, you're only allowed to dream about me.
I have many children of my own you know. Some of them turn out quite well.
She is actually dead in’t she?
What is power, without love.
Be grateful for the fun you had, you must have know your time would come.
I expect you’ll be wearing that when we play cards tonight.
She handles tragedy with ruthless clarity.
I will not help you with this
Ask anyone. I’m as fickle as they come.
It's hard for all of us. Being part of this family.
I may be young, and inexperienced, but I promise I’ll give you an heir.
What’s this play about?
It’s a comedy about royals.
I hear the princess is worth looking at.
It's funny isn't in. Both of us here, we already know we've had our one true love.
You must rule your own heart, as firmly as you rule your subjects.
We may be the enemy, but I am not without my manners.
Your light as a feather, I swear!
Would you be interested in anything else? My chambers for example…
There’s the smile I was hoping for.
Allow me to charm you so more, and we’ll work on that next part.
Men forget, that woman have ears.
My child will be heir to her throne, to both Nations.
This is a course you cannot step back from. And if you take it, I fear I am looking at a dead woman.
We all die. The question is what we stood for while we lived.
Have you already named our children? Or did you leave that part for me?
I did not expect to like you. But I do.
Earn my respect then, as I earn the respect of my men. In combat!
Duels only lead to dead men, not respect.
Fists then. A boxing match. If you win, I bend the knee. But if I win, you will withdraw your marriage offer to the Queen.
I let you win that race.
How dare you, didn't you notice that I defied the queen of England for you!?
I’m going to be your husband.
I had a husband! and I loved him and he was murdered in cold blood before my eyes.
Before I met you, I loved someone. In that way that should've lasted a lifetime, but it didn't.
Let the danger come.
You will be my husband in name only. And we will never be happy.
It is my duty, my God-given birthright and my crown. And I will defend it from anyone who attempts to take it.
I had hoped that our marriage would be a partnership in every way. but with your drinking, your cheating, your blind ambition...
I know we hardly know each other, and yet here I am, asking you to risk everything for me.
With or without your crown. I would do anything for you.
I made you King. But we will never be equals.
You can’t expect everyone to be glad you are back at Court, some of us know you.
He will hang. And I will enjoy watching him die.
I didn't kill him, but justice needed to be done.
This vile act will not ease your pain!
Revenge is not meant to ease pain. It is meant to balance the scales.
He was an innocent man!
Men will never willingly bow to the weaker sex.
I put my trust in you, my Lord.
Well surely you don’t blame me.
How nice of you to take time out of your grievance to mock me.
What about the shame you've brought to this family? Not to mention this country and to God himself?!
I've learned never trust the beginning of a book.
I know this isn't what you wanted, but for now, this marriage will protect you.
When the time is right, I can make you a widow.
We need to show them you are not a monster, by showing them what you really are. A King.
Perhaps I shall have your throat slit in your sleep. Or have the villagers do it for me when they come for us to root out the beast we have protected.
I should have your entire family burned at the stake.
He was born first! That's all he has to do.
I have always put my children first. I have done terrible things! I have always done it for their good. But are they worth it?
Tell your son to come to court. Or I will have him dragged here. On his knees.
I will not be remembered as the Queen that drew first blood.
And I can't bear to lose you.
Our affair puts you in danger.
I won't ever tire of you.
He is a long-term confidante. A skilled advisor and diplomat, whose journeys, for the Crown, have met with spectacular success.
I represent something glorious, for everyone. And if you want to banish every person who is dazzled by me, we'll be a nation of mainly women.
You are more precious to me than my nation.
Speak! While there is still mercy in my heart!
I will bow to no man
I will face ever threat to my reign with sword in hand. And any who shall stand in my way shall fall.
I cannot have her blood on my hands. And I cannot let her go.
Look how far you’ve come. Trading your heart to rise in station.
Now that I know how things really work around here. I'm interested in getting to know you better.
Why should I be interested in you?
I was starting to think you didn't have it in you.
But let me offer some advice: next time you threaten someone, make sure you have proof. A theory is nothing more than a feather.
I am on no one's side, but my own.
Get out of my Court!
It’s fine. A daughter joining her mother for an evening stroll is hardly a crime.
The tears might be a bit much.
In a year, everything will be different. I'll have an heir.
I won’t fall in love with him. I promise!! Please have faith in me.
I was almost sent to a nunnery for following my heart!
I lost both the man I love and the man I could have loved.
I'm asking you to marry me. but I’m begging you to save your own life.
Tell me this. Do you think we can be happy together?
Your food is regularity tested for poison.
You're so clever.
Your lies come so easily.
You invited me here because you think of me, as often as I think of you.
He does have his father’s history to overcome.
I am an ambitious man. And if this is my one chance at King, I will take it.
If I am King for only as long as you live, then I say long live the Queen.
I don’t want to find love. I want to be loved.
It wasn’t easy, I paid a fortune.
The inevitable War of Two Queen.
May matrimony set you on a more honorable path.
I am married to the most powerful man in the world.
Stop starting at me witch!
You're a beautiful, ambitious, young woman who's learned to pull the strings of men, and yed can't see when her own strings are being pulled.
Being married to a woman who is in love with another, isn’t exactly the ideal union I dreamed of either.
Bastards and cheaters are not welcome on the Throne.
You will have love or an heir, but not both.
Lie to me again, and I will open you up right here, in your own house.
If you have a baby that isn’t yours, you’ll hang, unless you cooperate.
