didn't understand people being so obsessed with tayvin bc he was like. clearly an asshole and not just in regards to taylor but at least with the social media posts it was like okay you feel like you're getting something personal here so i can understand why people enjoyed the relationship but with joe and travis it's like??? you literally just have promotional shit and pap photos like? that's why i struggle a lot of the time with real person shipping when it's not people who you have actually seen interact it's like this is literally just photos of them walking down the street?

#it makes so much more sense when it's two people who have worked on a movie together #whether they're publicly in a relationship or not #because you can see them interact in interviews and tease each other or see inside jokes or whatever #with virtually all of taylor's relationships it has always just been pap photos #and even with social media pictures between taylor and calvin like. it IS social media lol this is all carefully crafted #afaik joe just posted the cats sometimes lol? which actually seems more genuine than what she and calvin were doing #but yeah like that's at least a little more than just pap photos like it may not actually BE personal but it feels that way #otherwise you're just......shipping two people because you think they look nice next to each other #'what a cute couple' 'they certainly are standing next to each other' indeed #either way it is all for cameras whether it's paparazzi photos or social media or interviews but #at least when it's two people who aren't publicly together they're not trying to prove anything in any of those three instances
