Stadium Sweetheart- Jude Bellingham
Genre: fluff, comforting
Author's note: short and sweet🎀
Summary:Can your boyfriend help you choose your stadium's outfit?Of course he can.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Please recommend me something to wear”
“I don’t know what girls wear at a stadium, darling”
Oh and that was it, his english accent that could literally melt you in any second. But seriously, you literally wore every ‘sportive- girl outfit you have in your closet and you were stressing yourself,t rying to find something decent to wear.
“I might have an idea” you say, a sudden spark of inspiration lighting up your face. You dash over to Jude's side of the closet and pull out one of his jerseys, the one with "BELLINGHAM" and his number emblazoned on the back. Holding it up, you grin.
He raises an eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips. "Going for the full supporter look, are we?"
"Well, I want to be your number one fan, don't I?" You slip the jersey over your head, feeling a rush of excitement. It's a bit oversized, but that only adds to the charm. You pair it with your favorite mini skirt and a pair of white heels.
“Heels to a stadium, you serious?” he says giggling.Maybe that was a bad idea, but girls would do anything to keep the outfit on top.
“Shut up”
“Yes sir”He says ironically, you can’t help but laugh at his words.
As you make your way to the stadium, the atmosphere is electric. Fans are pouring in, waving flags and singing chants. You feel a sense of pride wearing Jude's name on your back, knowing that you're part of something bigger.
At the stadium, you take your seat among the sea of supporters. The game begins, and you watch Jude on the field, playing with the skill and passion that made you fall for him in the first place. Every time he makes a great play, you jump to your feet, cheering and shouting his name.
When the game is over and your boyfriend’s team wins, you start searching for him on the field and so does he.As soon as he sees you, he blows a kiss towards your direction.
You can’t be more excited for him than you are now.You know how he loves football and achieving his dreams makes only you more proud than you already are.
you get off your seat and walk towards him, hugging him tightly as he gives you a kiss on the forehead.
“I kinda feel like you brought me luck, didn’t you?”

alexia putellas x child!reader
Tumblr media
Alexia helps a young fan who is getting crushed in a crowd of fans.
You grew up with brothers, they were rough and put you in goal for their football games with their friends. To say you took a battering everytime was an understatement. You papa put you in a boys football team when you turned 4 to 'toughen' you up.
You would watch Barcelona mens games on TV, never being allowed to go to the Camp Nou with your brothers and your papa as you were too young. Instead, your mother put you infront of the Barcelona femeni.  You would skip down to the Johan ever week with your mama, wearing a hand me down jersey with your brothers name on the back.
You soon got to learn everything, by 5 and half you knew all the players and even joined in with the chants too, waving your small flag around.
"Aleexxia! Alexxxiiaa!" You'd sing, proudly showing off your Barcelona jersey on the way to the game, your cuddly toy in your hand.
"Are you excited for the game today, bebita?" Mami asked. You'd nod. "Who are you excited to watch?"
"Alexia!" You'd show off your little toothy grin and shake with excitement.
-
Mama put you on her shoulders so you could see better, you'd raise your arms and cheer and squeal throughout the 90 minutes.
Alexia socred and you went crazy, jumping up and down and giggling with you mama, the couple next to you smiling at your happiness.
"Alexia, Mama!!"
At the end of the game, the team won 7-0. You were so excited you wriggled your way through to the front trying to see past everyone. You waved at the players as they walked past.
"HOLA MAPI!!" You grinned, waving your hand franticallly.
You gasped a little as you felt an older girl behind you shoving you against the railing, looking down you see someone else stepping on your foot, squishing it inside your pink trainers.
"MAPI POR FAVOR!!!"
"ow!" You tried to move but you kept getting pushed and shoved.
You were a small five year old, and getting pushed around in a crowd of shouting people wasn't something you wanted to be in.
"MAMMA!" You called out, but mama was no where to be seen.
Tears filled your eyes and spilled down your cheeks.
"Ow! You are hurting!" You tried to call out to the people around you but no one seemed to listen as they waved their shirts down at the players.
“OW! POR FAVOR!” You teared up more, being barged around between older children and adults, being squished against the barricade.
Alexia came over towards your stand, not having seen you squished in and teary eyed. She signed a few shirts and then caught sight of you.
"Alexia!" You cried, in both happiness and fear. You tears became more violent as the crowd pushed closer and closer to the barrier to see sight of the footballer.
"Hola bebita, your ok!" She shouted at the crowd around you to stop pushing and this caught attention of her teammates. Patri, Aitana, Mapi and Claudia rushed over jsut as she pulled you over the fenced area.
You tears didn't stop, they couldn't. You were scared and frightened.
The players created a circle around you, Alexia holding you against her chest as you legs wrapped around her.
She rubbed your back softly and gently swayed you side to side.
"What's your name?" Patri smiles softly, rubbing your cheek to clear the drying tears.
"I'm y/n." You sobbed, holding your soft toy in your hand still, a tight grip on the cuddly penguin.
"How old are you, y/n?"
You held up five fingers on your small hand,  dropping your head onto Alexia's shoulder.
"Your so tiny!" Alexia smiled. Are you here with mama and papa?"
"Mami" You told her.
"With you mami." she nods. "Does she know where you went?" She asks, looking around back to the stands she pulled you from.
You shook your head, you'd slipped out of her reach and was just too excited to wave to the team that you forgot to keep near her.
"Who is this?" Claudia points at your penguin, Alexia shifting you onto her hip as you show your cuddly toy.
"Pepa" You tell her, your voice soft and quiet.
The girls keep you calm and security goes to find you mama. Alexia keeping hold of you the whole time.
"You must have been scared in there, huh?" She smiles softly, tilting her head.
You nod. "I just small!" You tell her.
She chuckles softly. “You are! But it’s okay, your safe now.”
“Did you like the game? Alexia scored an amazing goal didn’t she!” Mapi smiles.
“Sí! I did lots of clapping” You grin at the defender. “Mami put me high so I could see.” You tell them.
A short while later, security come down to the pitch with your mami.
“Y/N!” She rushes over, taking you out of the Barcelona captain’s arms. “I told you to stay by my side!” She sighs.
“Lo siento Mami. But this is Alexia!” You giggle, looking at the midfielder who’s smiling at you.
“Well thank you for helping her, Alexia.” She smiles.
“It’s not worries, I loved spending time with you y/n! I’ll see you at the next game?” She asks.
You nod. “Sí!! And Pepa!” You hold up the penguin and wave it at her.
“Say bye now, we need to go.” Mama hurry’s you up.
“Bye Alexia!”
“Bye Y/N! Bye Pepa!”

Ghost of the past -Alex Keller
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Based on a request:
Alex Keller angst with f reader? 👀 Do your worst, break my heart --- F!Reader, angst, death of character, cheating, established!relationship ---
It's perfect, a relationship between a soldier and his civilian girlfriend, nothing more than happiness and great talks. That is what the plan was meant to be like. The day he met her, something you wish to know how it went. Platonic, is all he explained, but she was not meant for that and neither were you. Farah, the girl he worked with, was so sweet you too swore she was just a friend, clung to that. Just a friend. His gaze, was not on yours but on her as she wore a gown to the military ball. Oh sweet sight he held dear to him. He never called your relationship love, something you did behind his back. The chilly autumn wind, the scarf that he kept in his home even to this day. Last reminder of what once was.
Singing in cars, dancing in bars and kissing at American football games when his favourite team won. Getting lost in the woods so he can have just five more minutes of you. Family album his mum swore you and he would create the minute he married you. "Come on sweet pea," something he always said to you, now said to his oh-so-sweet love. The love he had for you is long gone, something he wished to hold for just five more minutes, get lost in the woods with you for that time. Just him and you.
Dancing in the kitchen's dim light, the fireplace keeping you warm as the winter winds came by. Your scarf on the sofa as he made love to you that night. His clothes and boots were under your bed as he claimed your body over and over again.
"Alex Keller will be your teammate for this, Farah," what a way to meet the jewel of his glimmery eyes. The family home you swore he'd grown old in with you, now left abandoned at that mossy end of the road. No more drives to the airport for him, no more keeping up with American football teams for when he came back home to ask who would be going to the Superbowl. He lost the one cheerleader that kept her chant even at the worst of times. Hand in hand, hospital rooms, sick days and now...tombstone he cleans.
"Alex!" you giggle as he carries you through the field. His brothers chasing you both. Flag football, trying to win the heart of his dear sweet pea and the carrot cake his lovely mother made. Did she know you were the first girl he took home? Did she know you were the one who held his hand when she failed to cover for him on the battlefield? Maybe not but could she care he lost it all after you?
Now, he walks through that empty football stadium alone, the January wind making his nose red. The same one you kissed with his rosy cheeks. "And this was him at 5, Halloween at the old house," his mum shared the picture of the young Alex.
"One day, you and I will walk that same street, trick or treating with our children," he kisses your temple on that November night.
"Wait, what does that mean?" you ask him, he chuckles and cups your face. "They are going to the Super Bowl, sweet pea," the Eagles t-shirt hung from his shoulder.
"WE WON!" He raises his arms and then turns to you, a smile on your face. Eagles shirt, worn by you.
Springtime came by last spring morning with you. The night time came quickly and so did the end. You drove to the local shop for some medicine and then you saw it. Her hand, greeting his mothers. Your heart ached. Was this the reason why for Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Year's he told you, he would be away and not contact his family? Was he creating those memories with her? Deception, betrayal and solitude. All given in the blink of an eye by the man who fathered your unborn child.
Flashbacks swarm you. August, when he kissed your forehead and drove you to the first of many lectures you gave as a professor. September, the way he made love to you, how by morning he made breakfast, how in that night of love, you made the child that would hold his last name. October, the sweet nothing he whispered before he went on deployment. November, December and January of that time, how you didn't hear from him or anyone of his family. Betrayal began on the second of October. March only brought blues and grey skies.
April brought black gowns.
"R/N, please let me explain. I got carried away, I forgot-"
"You forgot me, Alex! You forgot me!" you cry, the resentment felt by the child growing in you. "It's not that, I swear it's just-"
"Was it not enough? To give you all of me? I never asked for much. Respect and honesty? Was it so hard for you to even give me the decency to not run around town with her?"
"It's not good for the baby-"
"Don't you pretend to know between right and wrong!"
That night, it is said that a soldier so fierce and strong like him became the weakest of them all. He lost the battle between you and life. He became a man...no...he became the ghost of a man. A ghost that haunts the home he made with you. The empty cradle, the empty side of the bed that belonged to you. The two tombstones he visits every day. The picnics and conversations he has with two souls who wanted him home, all as he created another home with a woman who fell in love with someone else.
Wise men say, don't chase two lovers, not when the right one is there, playing the fool as you chase the one who can't give you more than a glance or a word. Stay with the one who made you feel safe in a danger zone. Stay with the one who even after all, made you soup, tucked you in bed and reminded you of how strong you are, all whilst she carried your child. A child he never met, a child that went with you to the great big sky.
"I'm sorry, sweet pea," the drunken man cried to the tombstone of what was his beloved. Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, all watched him beg to the skies for a second chance at this. To press replay on that time of his life, when he had it all. The girl of his dreams, the woman set to carry his blood, the woman who cheered him on during war. Now, all that is left of you, is all you left at home. The way you set the portraits, the furniture and the nursery, to only be watched by the ghost of him. Fool, the man he became.
A/N: I love Farah, okay, so this is no hate for my baby Farah, I just needed to make this interesting

The behavioural tendency of ultras groups includes singing football chants, playing musical instruments such as drums, their use of flares and smoke bombs (primarily in tifo choreography), frequent use of elaborate displays, vocal support in large groups and the displaying of flags and banners at football stadiums, all of which are designed to create an atmosphere which encourages their own team and intimidates the opposing players and their supporters. Nativism is the political policy of promoting or protecting the interests of native-born or indigenous people over those of immigrants. Violence in Politics can also describe politically motivated violence which is used by violent non-state actors against a state (rebellion, rioting, treason, or coup d'état) or it can describe violence which is used against other non-state actors and/or civilians.[2][3][4] Non-action on the part of a government can also be characterized as a form of political violence, such as refusing to alleviate famine or otherwise denying resources to politically identifiable groups within their territory. *Sensation is the process that allows our brains to take in information via our five senses, which can then be experienced and interpreted by the brain. In psychology, sensation is defined as the process of the sensory organs transforming physical energy into neurological impulses the brain interprets as the five senses of vision, smell, taste, touch, and hearing. When the brain experiences sensations based on the environment, such as a feeling or an experience, the brain then uses transduction to convert the feeling or venture into a more easily processed neuron. One can think of it simply as the scientific method of external influences on a person's brain.*

As a painfully British person (think ready-salted Walkers level), I find British football culture so embarrassing. I didn’t even want the national team to win, partly because it’s always laced with fears of rising domestic violence when they lose and concerns about how the oafs falling out of pubs nearby are going to behave. Spoiler alert: they act like idiots.
The truth is, I know English football culture isn't going to change—people whose only purpose is to follow footballers around, shout at them for 90+ minutes, and get on the piss with the 'lads,' maybe with a cheeky bag on the side, just to feel something. And while I get that, being a purposeless entity myself, the streak of violence throughout it is mortifying.
The chants are embarrassing.
The booing of national anthems is embarrassing.
The war songs are embarrassing.
The drinking culture is embarrassing.
The arrogance, ignorance, and entitlement are unbearable.
What’s worse is that it stems from a deep, state-endorsed ignorance about our history and how we act now. Take King Charles, for example, visiting Commonwealth countries and waving like some kind of messiah.
Imagine that? Being the head of a culture responsible for the murders of millions of people throughout history and stealing their country's resources and wealth before popping it on hideous crowns and in our museums... and then having the audacity to wave your sausage fingers at the people from the countries you stole it from?
Reducing this culture to 'banter' is just them waving a white flag because they have the IQ of a concrete slab. Why would they want to question why people loathe England fans so much? It’d lead them to question the only thing that makes them feel part of something.
You can't separate 'politics' from it either because these divvies are singing songs about WW2 before slurring their way through a national anthem about wanting to be forever reigned over by a royal family.
If you want to remove politics from the national anthem, let’s change it to "Angels" by Robbie Williams.
I know it’s not revolutionary for a left-leaning person to have issues with patriotism. But the sheer level of ignorance in this country, combined with arrogance, makes the concept impossible for me.

*antisemitism is all of it. Not part of it. All of it.
Ok I've been holding back on here too because of this exactly. I knew I'd get Anons™ about it.
Anti semitism does absolutely play a part in this. But do you know how often shit hits the fan around football matches here? They cancelled one a while back because the police was on strike and they didn't want to risk it. These are people who will take ANY excuse to start a fight.
israeli fans ripping down palestinian flags, lighting fireworks, singing anti arab songs, and destroying a taxi? More than enough. Especially since our fascist government treats pro palestine protests/protesters as thugs looking for a fight and anything and everything israel does as fair game, and the israeli fans starting shit like innocent little schoolboys who just wanted to watch the football.
I saw an article from the jeruzalem post last night (that's still saved in my drafts because it pissed me off but I was not in the mood for *gestures* this) where they PRAISED and fucking WOOBEFIED Geert Wilders. Poor little Geert who won the election but then was BLOCKED from becoming PRIME MINISTER by the EVILS who HATE him!! SO UNFAIR!! *stomps feet and pouts*
I'm guessing you're not Dutch and have no idea who this guy is, so let me break it down.
He is a trump-fan. He posted a selfie wearing a fucking MAGA hat to celebrate trump's win. He is bffs with Viktor Orbán He admires/supports basically every right wing racist here in Europe (like Giorgia Meloni, Marine le Pen, Filip Dewinter). He has been openly racist/Islamophobic in Dutch politics for the past 20 years. He has openly and on purpose offended Muslims by posting images of the prophet Mohammed He made a film on the "dangers" of Islam - again, just to offend and attack Muslims Has referred to hijabs as "kopvodden" - headrags. His party won the local elections in The Hague in 2014 and he was there to address the crowd gathered in some cafe or something where they had waited for the results (even though he didn't even RUN in The Hague himself) and asked them if they wanted more or less Moroccans in The Hague, the crowd started chanting "minder, minder" - "less, less" and then he promised he would take care of that. He has referred to Islam as "achterlijk geloof" "retarted belief" He has been convicted for hate speech (though sadly it didn't even come with so much as a fine and he doesn't give a fuck) His party sadly did get the most seats in parliament after the election last year, but the three other parties his party has now formed a government with blocked him from becoming prime minister. WHICH SUITS HIM JUST FINE. He HANDPICKED a prime minister, who is basically his minion, but he still gets to pick fights with other parties on twitter and insult the (HANDPICKED BY HIM!!) prime minister and act like he's still in the opposition instead of the actual government. Now onto the fun part you might care about. So he supports israel yeah? Nice little photo op with him attending a shabbat in a synagogue, once again speaking out against people protesting the fact that the israeli president would attend the opening of the new Holocaust Museum in Amsterdam, all that good stuff. Geert Wilders is leader of the PVV, right? largest party in dutch parliament right now. So his party got to appoint some ministers. We've got Fleur Agema, the current minister of public health, who had/has an account on a stormfront (white power /neo nazi) message board. Marjolein Faber, current minister of immigration, big fan of the omvolkingstheorie - a theory that states all white people in the world are being replaced by non white people and that it's this big conspiracy lead by Jewish people. Reinette Klever, current minister of developmental aid, former board memeber of "Ongehoord Nederland" - a tv broadcaster for the "unheard" (aka an excuse to be racist on main) also a big fan of that theory, refused to distance herself from it when she took office, called it a factual progression of evolution. Wore a prinsenvlag pin and claimed it was to honour her ancestors who had fought the Spanish with Willem van Oranje - in 1568. Funny little detail about the prinsenvlag is that it's a the Dutch flag, but with the red band replaced by an orange one and was used by the NSB. Nationaal Socialistische Beweging. Those first two words might look familiar? It's the Dutch version of the Nazi party in WW2. And the flag is STILL used by neo nazis. Martin Bosma, current speaker of the house, also a big fan of the omvolkingstheorie, also has been seen in public wearing a prinsenvlag pin (supposedly to honour the Dutch VOC history - which was big in the slave trade... so you know, not sure if that's any better) Several other members of this party have worn this flag, it was displayed in the window of their headquarters until shit got too real and they took it down (and played the victim). None of these people have distanced themselves from all of this in ANY WAY since they took office. Geert hasn't told them to either. And they've been using the anti semitic violence in Amsterdam to push their anti- islam/anti Moroccans agenda - with success. Are these really the people you want to fight in your corner?
and also this.
Following the attack, the city announced a three-day ban on all demonstrations to maintain public order. Furthermore, the government had announced it would hold stricter border control until December 9. Hundreds of people defied the ban, which had been upheld by a local court earlier in the day.  They chanted "Free Palestine" and "Shame on you" and called for an end to the war in Gaza.
The demonstration ban the city of Amsterdam has issued has been extended to tomorrow/Thursday, people have fought it in court because the right to demonstrate is in the constitution and taking that away as a form of punishment is certainly A Choice...
And the border controls are STARTING on December 9th (and will last six months), as a way for our fascist government to "stop mass illegal immigration" (which is not a thing) and stop the "immigration crisis" (which doesn't exist) but it has NOTHING to do with the violence around the football match.
And that last line of the article? Imagine considering people calling for an end of a war a bad thing...

I mean. Israeli fans of Maccabi Tel Aviv land in Amsterdam with Mossad protection, jeer throughout the minute of silence for the victims of the flood in Valencia, Spain terrorize the city for two days, singing horrible chants like "Let the IDF win to fuck the Arabs" and "There are no schools left in Gaza because there are no children", beating up anyone who said anything to them or looked 'wrong', like a Moroccan taxi driver, and climbing up walls to rip down Palestine flags off private homes.
football fans who are so invested in their team that they're willing to fly to another continent to see a random match, are not likely to be the wokest of men

Football hooligans destroying flags and provoking the other side, because they want violence? Sadly expected and can be found all over Europe easily. Add to that the general atmosphere around anything that involves Israel and Palestine. Powder keg. And there are always agitators who want to be the spark. Which is terrible and I hate that. Also very little about what happened in Amsterdam was actually about the match itself. Shocker, I know that. Sorry that doesn't come across in a one sentence under 140 characters tag.
Let's look at what I said "the people contorting themselves to justify what just happened in Amsterdam..." Did I say it is wrong to look into the whole situation? (With investigations showing that there was some premeditated planning involved, so at least we can both-sides this thing. And not even Ajax fans, because this wasn't about football. This was very much Jews vs Muslims, less Maccabi vs Ajax.) Did I say there is one side that is 100% right and the other is 100% wrong? Did I say I agree with Israelis chanting their anti-arab slogans and provoking the pro-Palestine crowds?
What I am appalled by is the simple fact that we did see Jews chased down streets in a big European city and people come forth with explanations of why that is okay. The JUSTIFICATION of the violence that broke out (I don't agree with tearing down flags, but I agree less with stabbing people). There have been a few arrests made pre-game, including on the Maccabi side. Rightfully. Also to think only the bad hooligans who deserved it by their actions got beaten is my problem with the situation. That's what I mean when I say "contorting [...] to justify". I much prefer people like Melhem Asad, who helped to keep people safe and stood up against violence, than either celebrating the stupid bolsterous singing of disgusting genocidal songs or applauding hitting any perceived enemies in the face without even caring if they were actual agitators.
I see where you're coming from but I do think focusing in on the "jews" aspect of it all just gives validation to the idea that zionist speak for all jews or that any critisism towards them is antisemetic. You're also leaving out the fact that they assaulted a taxi driver on top of burning flags and singing songs about the slaughter of children.
I'm sure there were some folks who got hurt that weren't the ones inciting violence in the first place and that's a tragedy, but the people of Amsterdam were under no obligation to just lie down and take that shit and as the authorities failed to step in they took it into their own hands. Perhaps in the future the city will just do the smart thing and not host Isreali teams the same way they wouldn't host a Russian team

Football and baseball are both kind of hard for me to watch because there is soooo much stopping (and football is also hard for me to watch because they are constantly concussing themselves/each other even more than in roller derby where at least there are rules about trying to keep your head out of it). Like, more than half the time they are not even doing anything. Which can still be fun if you're watching in person because then you at least have the Being At The Game Experience. Like, I don't follow soccer but I still go to Thorns games sometimes just to bask in the glow of the loud lesbian audience (they chant and sing the whole time and everyone is waving pride flags no matter what month it is) and eat an overpriced but satisfying hot dog. But you would have to pay me money to pay actual attention to football or baseball on tv. And I am someone who voluntarily watches documentaries about people running ultramarathons (i.e. just running, walking, eating, and crying, sometimes for 24+ hours).

Right then here's ma thoughts on eurovision this year:
(i did not watch the semifinals, nor do i engage with esc at all before the final)
The brits very quickly just completely forgot they hadn't actually won the eurovision and decided to just honor themselves for the rest of the show...
I had never heard chanting in the esc like it was some football game
Last year we had subtitles on not-english songs why not this year too
was this year kind of a bit mediocre? There was no truly bad and the majority were just kinda meh generic?
So. Much. English. et tu ukraine
Anyways my absolute fave was Norway, i liked sweden (the woman can SING, tho she looks like my high school philosophy teacher)
Israel and Italy you can fuck right off
Portugal's juri gave our 12 points to australia and not spain which i'm sure is some kind of major diplomatic incident
I do not understand the public's obsession with finland ???? pls explain
and then
Croatia. carrying the spirit of eurovision on their backs uncontested. everything about that was fucking perfect. my mother was cry-laughing and i almost coughed out a lung in these 3min. it was fucking epic and Croatia is the saviour of this year esc for me
please for the love of our collective sanity remove the seeded status of the "big 5", and force the juries to be actually educated or renowned professionals in music
one more thing. once again i did not see a single palestinian flag around. and since the uk has moral panicked itself into 50sAmerica i don't think there was a single trans pride flag in sight either. what a disgrace

im sorry but i dont really understand your comment about the 'hamas hamas alle joden aan het gas; chant. this has nothing to do with any of the events, nor was it heard to be chanted or even reported. ajax fans would NEVER sing this, so it is incredibly unlikely that this chant was heard in the city of Amsterdam. I do not understand why it is mentioned here?
The information youre giving is extremely colored and incredibily harmful. pro palestinian protests generally do not use this chant, these are a handful of antiemitic rioters that disturb the entire situation, and these are the ones that attacked the maccabi supporters. it has to be mentioned peaceful protests have been going on on dam square and the police cracked down on them in extremely aggressive ways. these were illegal protests, yes but they were PEACEFUL.
the entire point is that amsterdam/the netherlands should have NEVER accepted to host this match, and the extreme hypocrisy of boycotting Russia but then letting Israhelli clubs enter the country without any problems is so blatant and painful.
mayor halsema even admitted to wanting to cancel the football match because the maccabi supporters were causing EXTREME distruption (and are generally known to be aggressive in the past), chanting about letting the IDF kill the arabs, tearing down flags, and as we all know by know, attacking a morrocan taxi driver etc. However, they did not cancel the match because the supporters were already here so they were literally scared tensions would rise from the side of the maccabi supporters..
we all have to admit that the violence against the maccabi supporters was wrong, and it was painful to watch these videos. but saying it was unprecedented and one sided, and painting the situation as completely coming out of nowhere is just plainly wrong.
i understand why you feel the need to mention that ajax is a jewish club but at the same time i do not see what difference it makes. the antimsemitic chants you mention are not related to any of the events that occurred.
Being a Dutch Jew, here is some information about the violence in Amsterdam that is either common knowledge in the Netherlands, or is from some sources in Dutch that might not be commonly available for an international audience.
First of all about hooliganism, Amsterdam's football club Ajax is known as a 'joodenclub', a 'jewclub', because Amsterdam used to have a large jewish minority, many of whom were supporters of the club, and because several Dutch Jews were members of the team at one point. Ajax supporters take pride in this name. Because of this, there is a good relationship between Ajax and Macabbi, and the match was considered at low risk for football related violence and supporters of both teams mixed freely on the train back to the city center. In fact, only a pro-palestine protest was moved away from the stadium, because the police had recieved information that 'harde kern' Ajax hooligans were planning to stop that demonstration.
On that note, I have seen mixed information on what the Macabbi supporters were singing, but regardless, because Ajax is known as a jewclub, a common chant among the fans of opposing Dutch teams is "Hamas, hamas, alle joden aan het gas," or "Hamas, hamas, all the jews to the gas." Yes, a chant heard at pro-palestine protest is originally from Dutch football. Authorities have been cracking down on it in recent years, but a cursory google found people being arrested over it as recently as may 2023. Somehow, jews have never attacked random supporters of opposing teams at matches where this was chanted. Any Dutch person trying to justify things would be well aware of this.
About media coverage, I get my news about Amsterdam from Het Parool, a left-of-center, Amsterdam-based newspaper, that grew out of a WWII resistance paper. This is the current (about 16:30 Dutch time) front page of the newspaper website. In it the violence is described as an 'antisemitische klopjacht' an antisemitic manhunt. Most articles about it are paywalled, but firefox screenreader mode can bypass it.
Tumblr media
Finally, I recognised a lot of the terminology in intenational news coverage from yesterday's press conference by Mayor Halsema (the woman in the picture above), which was also shown live by the dutch public bradcaster. In it an AP reporter asks in Dutch about Macabbi provocations, and they partially quote the police chief's answer, but not Mayor Halsma who came in right after, and said that the violence was in no way justifiable. I'm linking the full YouTube video of the press conference below. It is mostly in Dutch, and I have no idea about the quality of the autotranslation, but at about the 30 min. mark an Al Jazeera reporter asks a similar question in English, and the Mayor's answer in English is very clear.

fc freiburg vs union berlin
my first ever fußballspiel!!
Tumblr media
i knew european soccer — especially in germany — was a big deal, but i’ve never seen anything quite like this! the football culture here is crazy. i finally got to witness the dramatic fake injuries in person!
the game was at 3 p.m., but all morning, i saw people dressed in red and wearing their football scarves. at the hauptbahnhof (the main train station), the train to the stadium was completely packed. i couldn’t even find a handle to hold onto, and people were already chanting with drinks in their hands.
at the stadium, my friends and i ended up missing kickoff because we couldn’t find our entrance and did several laps around the outside trying to figure it out. our seats were in the very small guest section for berlin fans, and our tickets specifically said that we weren’t allowed to wear red or any freiburg gear, or we wouldn’t be let in!
the game was completely sold out, and almost every seat was filled. fans had huge flags, banners, and drums. i’ve never seen anything like this! throughout the entire game — and i mean the entire game — people were singing, chanting, and banging on drums. i wish i could understand what they were saying, and would have joined in.
after certain plays, the whole stadium would start whistling SO loudly, which confused me at first. apparently, whistling here is like booing — fans do it to show frustration at a bad call or an opponent’s foul.
when berlin scored their first goal, the guy in front of me immediately hugged the stranger next to him, throwing an entire pint of beer into the air and all over everybody. no one seemed to care.
then, in the middle of the game, someone dressed as a butterfly ran onto the field. in the u.s., security would’ve tackled them immediately, but here? one of the players actually hugged them before security calmly walked them off. insane!
one thing i found odd was that so many fans were wearing what looked like harry potter scarves instead of jerseys or other team merch. but apparently, scarves are a huge part of european football culture. they’re not just for warmth — they have the team’s colors and crest and are basically the only gear you need (unless you want to bring giant flags or banners). anytime their team scored, the entire stadium erupted, with people screaming and throwing their scarves in the air.
here’s a video of the crowd after freiburg’s first (and only) goal

Ultimate Beastmaster Moments S3E6: Semi #2 Qualifiers Pt.2
Opening the episode by asking who spiked the pasta sauce of the dude from Italian comm, as he is, once again, standing on the table. The show literally hasn’t even started yet. And he’s on the table. AGAIN. Istg he spends 90% of this series standing on the table.
Tumblr media
Punk saying they can’t let UK get anymore semi final spots, because he can’t handle hearing anymore about it from Wade.
Everyone just dancing before the South Korean guy does a run.
Pronouncing Imogen as Imo-jeeeeeeen.
USA coming to harass UK booth after their athlete failed, but Wades like “actually no fuck you, she’s only 18 and she did amazing!! I was a pisshead down at the local when I was her age so she’s one hell of a step up from that!” Go on Wade, defend the team!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Italian comms now have an actual magic wand to help them curse the French and one of them is doing hand magic too. The curse worked, cos the French guy fucking fell on the FIRST TRAIL.
Tumblr media
The French comm’s mournful spin on his spinny chair.
Brazilian coming out with a football to kick around and balancing it on his fucking face and showboating for a good minute or two before he starts. Only to fall on the first fucking hurdle.
Brazilian comm literally slamming their heads against the table in frustration while USA comm are doing headers with the football between each other.
USA costume change again. Punk has his stuffed eagle and flag jacket. The other guy has an Uncle Sam hat and 2 mini flags. They’re once again getting roasted for this by the Brazil comm saying they look ugly and are not cool :(
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Punk excitedly waving the stuffed eagle around and making excited bird noises.
Tumblr media
Punk stress-singing as their athlete’s dangling off the pad about to fall.
USA comm visit UK and Aussie booths to give them their flags.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Italian comm on the table. I cannot express how many times this man gets on the table. It’s insane.
Brazil comm still sad about their athlete losing and then stripping to reveal he has gear on under his clothes and has a go at running the course as an unofficial competitor. He gets the same amount of points as the Brazilian and French athletes!! Then comes back to booth with a neck brace and on crutches.
The look of shock of South Korea’s comms faces when their athlete completely fucking misses the first jump. They just stand there in stunned silence until they cut away, then cut back and they’re still standing there staring. Then it starts on the next athlete.
Why are they pronouncing Imogen so weird??
Wade calling Winston a bad dog for not bringing their athlete any luck. She got DQ for jumping from the trampoline to the padding and then to the proper landing spot.
Mexican guy earns almost 3x the combined score of everyone else who’d attempted the level at that point.
Mexican comm telling Punk “You can call me papi now.”
Punk gifting the USA athlete the “technicoloured freedom coat” then leading a USA chant.
Wade Barrett hanging in the Aussie booth to support the commonwealth and they give him a hat and call him an honorary Aussie for the day. He looks so chuffed :) He gets complimented by the other Aussie comm guy and Wade’s like “I’m keeping this :D”
Tumblr media
USA athlete sliding down the pole till his feet touch the water and he starts kicking, and Brazilian comm are immediately like “omg it’s Jesus!”
USA comm going down to the side of the course so they can shout encouragement to their athlete better.
Comes down to Mexico vs USA so Mex comms come to the USA booth promising to slay the beast. Mex comm cheering the guy and chanting about tequila while Punk’s chanting “fall.”

How Music Unites Football Fans – The Power of World Cup Anthems
Football is more than just a sport; it is a universal language that brings people together, regardless of nationality, language, or background. Every four years, when the FIFA World Cup takes center stage, the passion, excitement, and energy reach an all-time high. Amid the cheers of fans, the dazzling displays of skill, and the emotional highs and lows, there is one element that adds a unique rhythm to the tournament—music.
World Cup songs have become an integral part of the event, setting the mood for the competition, igniting fan enthusiasm, and leaving a lasting legacy that extends beyond the final whistle. From the moment a tournament song is released, it instantly becomes the anthem of millions, playing in stadiums, at watch parties, and on the playlists of fans worldwide. These songs encapsulate the spirit of the World Cup, creating an emotional bond between fans and their favorite teams.
The Evolution of World Cup Songs
The tradition of World Cup songs dates back to the early days of the tournament, with host nations and official sponsors curating anthems to enhance the experience. Over the years, these songs have evolved from simple, locally popular tunes to global sensations that dominate music charts. In the 1960s and 1970s, World Cup songs were mainly official national themes that celebrated the host country's culture. However, by the 1990s, the music industry recognized the marketing potential of these anthems, leading to collaborations with international superstars.
Ricky Martin’s “La Copa de la Vida” for the 1998 World Cup in France was a turning point. With its electrifying beats and passionate lyrics, it became one of the most recognized football songs of all time. This song set the standard for future anthems, inspiring a wave of artists to contribute to World Cup music. Subsequent tournaments featured songs like Shakira’s “Waka Waka” (2010) and Pitbull’s “We Are One” (2014), further cementing the role of music in football culture. These songs were not only catchy but also incorporated cultural elements from the host countries, making them even more special for fans.
What Makes a World Cup Song Iconic?
Not every World Cup song achieves legendary status. While some tracks are quickly forgotten, others remain in the hearts of fans for decades. The key to a successful World Cup song lies in its ability to evoke emotions, inspire fans, and create a sense of unity. The best World Cup songs are those that have infectious rhythms, universal appeal, and lyrics that resonate with fans from all backgrounds.
One of the most important elements of a great World Cup song is its ability to be sung or chanted by fans. Songs that feature simple, repetitive choruses tend to become crowd favorites. For example, “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes was not even an official World Cup song, yet its bassline became one of the most iconic football chants in the world. Similarly, “Wavin’ Flag” by K’naan, which was initially created as a Coca-Cola promotional song for the 2010 World Cup, went on to become a global hit due to its uplifting message and easy-to-sing melody.
Another crucial factor is the song’s energy. A World Cup anthem needs to capture the excitement and anticipation of the tournament. It should be the kind of song that fans can dance to, sing along with, and feel motivated by. High-energy beats, traditional instrumentation, and celebratory themes often make a song stand out. Additionally, successful World Cup songs often incorporate elements of the host nation’s culture, making them even more meaningful to the tournament’s global audience.
The Emotional Connection Between Music and Football
Football is an emotional sport, filled with moments of triumph, heartbreak, and unforgettable memories. Music enhances these emotions, creating an even deeper connection between fans and the game. When a team scores a last-minute goal, the stadium erupts in chants and celebrations, often accompanied by the tournament’s official anthem playing in the background. These moments become etched in fans’ memories, forever associated with the song that was playing at the time.
For many, hearing a World Cup song years after the tournament brings back a flood of memories. It reminds them of where they were when their team lifted the trophy, the celebrations with friends and family, and the energy that filled the air during the matches. The best World Cup songs are not just soundtracks to the tournament; they become personal time capsules that transport fans back to some of the most exciting moments of their lives.
The Lasting Legacy of World Cup Songs
Even after the World Cup concludes, the anthems live on, played at future football events, featured in commercials, and enjoyed by fans long after the final match. Some songs, like “Waka Waka” and “La Copa de la Vida,” have transcended the football world and become global party anthems. Others remain tied to specific tournaments but still bring joy to those who remember them fondly.
For artists, having a song selected as a World Cup anthem is a career-defining moment. The exposure that comes with an official World Cup song ensures that the artist’s music reaches millions, if not billions, of listeners worldwide. This makes World Cup songs one of the most effective tools for uniting fans, celebrating cultures, and adding to the spectacle of the world's biggest football tournament.

Sensation is the process that allows our brains to take in information via our five senses, which can then be experienced and interpreted by the brain. Sensation occurs thanks to our five sensory systems: vision, hearing, taste, smell and touch. In simple terms, sensation can be defined as what the sensory organs do. One can think of it simply as the scientific method of external influences on a person's brain.

PPDA – Passes Allowed per Defensive Action. PPDA is the number of opposition passes allowed outside of the pressing team's own defensive third, divided by the number of defensive actions by the pressing team outside of their own defensive third.
Serie A, on the other hand, is renowned for its defensive discipline and tactical sophistication. A defensive system that prioritises organisation, compactness, and counter-attacking opportunities.
Catenaccio (Italian pronunciation: [kateˈnattʃo]) or The Chain is a tactical system in football with a strong emphasis on defence. In Italian, catenaccio means "door-bolt", which implies a highly organised and effective backline defence focused on nullifying opponents' attacks and preventing goal-scoring opportunities.
The Cover duty will drop off to try and catch any players breaching the defensive line. This can leave your opponents more time and space just in front of your defence unopposed, but it can also prevent your opponents from breaking through without a player to cover and track their runs, reducing their chances of getting a clean shot away in behind.
The Ball Playing Defender will look to influence counter-attacking opportunities by playing through-balls in to players wide of, or in front of himself. He can also help the team maintain possession with his superior passing skills and licence, although he should be fairly creative and a good passer, otherwise you can turn over possession dangerously and cheaply if your player tries overly ambitious passes he is not capable of.

Possession Football
Possession Football: A Symphony of Short Passes
Possession football revolves around maintaining control of the ball for extended periods. This style emphasizes short, precise passes, intricate movements, and positional rotations to create passing triangles and unlock opposing defenses. Possession advocates believe in wearing down the opposition through sustained ball possession, gradually creating scoring opportunities.
Hallmarks of Possession Football
Short, Interconnected Passes: The foundation of possession football lies in the exchange of short, accurate passes to maintain ball control and dictate the tempo of the game.
Movement and Rotation: Players are constantly in motion, creating space and passing options for teammates. This dynamic movement stretches the opposition and opens up gaps in their defense.
Patience and Control: Possession football demands patience and composure. Players must resist the urge to force passes or make hurried decisions.
Advantages of Possession Football
Control of the Game: By dominating possession, teams can dictate the pace and flow of the match, minimizing the opponent’s chances to attack.
Chance Creation: Sustained possession allows for the creation of numerous scoring opportunities through patient build-up play.
Reduced Vulnerability: With the ball in their possession, teams minimize the risk of counter-attacks and maintain defensive stability.
Counter-attacking Football: Swift Strikes from Defense
Counter-attacking football, in contrast to possession football, focuses on exploiting the opponent’s moments of vulnerability. Teams that employ this tactic defend resolutely, waiting for opportunities to launch rapid counter-attacks when the opposition loses possession. These counter-attacks often involve quick transitions from defense to offense, utilizing pace, directness, and clinical finishing to catch the opposition off guard.
Key Elements of Counter-attacking Football
Solid Defense: A robust defense forms the bedrock of counter-attacking football, providing the foundation for quick turnovers and counter-attacks.
Pace and Directness: Counter-attacking teams rely on swift transitions and direct passing to exploit spaces behind the opponent’s defense.
Clinical Finishing: The ability to convert counter-attacking opportunities into goals is crucial for success in this style of play.
Advantages of Counter-attacking Football
Efficiency and Effectiveness: Counter-attacking football can be highly efficient, requiring fewer scoring opportunities to achieve victory.
Exploiting Opponent’s Mistakes: This tactic capitalizes on the opponent’s errors, turning their weaknesses into scoring opportunities.
Unpredictability and Surprise: Counter-attacks can be unpredictable and catch opponents off guard, making them a potent threat.

INLAND INTERMODAL RE-EXPORTING (ARMANI ENTREPÔT)
Università Bocconi (formally known in Italian as Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi [universiˈta kommerˈtʃaːle luˈiːdʒi bokˈkoːni] – Luigi Bocconi Commercial University) is a private university in Milan, Italy. The university is consistently ranked as the top business school in Italy and among the best in the world.[2]
A dry port (sometimes referred to as an inland port) is an inland intermodal terminal directly connected by road or rail to a seaport, operating as a centre for the transshipment of sea cargo to inland destinations.[1]
Cargo port
Cargo ports are quite different from cruise ports, because each handles very different cargo, which has to be loaded and unloaded by a variety of mechanical means.
Bulk cargo ports may handle one particular type of cargo or numerous cargoes, such as grains, liquid fuels, liquid chemicals, wood, automobiles, etc. Such ports are known as the "bulk" or "break bulk ports".
Ports that handle containerized cargo are known as container ports.
Most cargo ports handle all sorts of cargo, but some ports are very specific as to what cargo they handle. Additionally, individual cargo ports may be divided into different operating terminals which handle the different types of cargoes, and may be operated by different companies, also known as terminal operators, or stevedores.[25]
Port of call
A port of call is an intermediate stop for a ship on its sailing itinerary. At these ports, cargo ships may take on supplies or fuel, as well as unloading and loading cargo while cruise liners have passengers get on or off ship.
Fishing port
A fishing port is a port or harbor for landing and distributing fish. It may be a recreational facility, but it is usually commercial. A fishing port is the only port that depends on an ocean product, and depletion of fish may cause a fishing port to be uneconomical.
Warm-water port
A warm-water port (also known as an ice-free port) is one where the water does not freeze in winter. This is mainly used in the context of countries with mostly cold winters where parts of the coastline freezes over every winter. Because they are available year-round, warm-water ports can be of great geopolitical or economic interest.
A smart port is most often defined by being a technologically advanced seaport that integrates digitalization, automation, and data-driven solutions to optimize logistics, improve efficiency, enhance security, and reduce environmental impact. It uses technologies like IoT, AI, big data, and blockchain to streamline operations, monitor cargo movements, and improve decision-making in real-time.
A smart port equips the workforce with relevant skills and technology to solve the unique internal and external challenges of the organisation, and to facilitate the efficient movement of goods, delivery of services and smooth flow of information. Using a holistic approach, the smart port achieves results without creating new challenges internally or elsewhere in the supply chain eco-system.
Re-exportation, also called entrepot trade, is a form of international trade in which a country exports goods which it previously imported without altering them. One such example could be when one member of a free trade agreement charges lower tariffs to external nations to win trade, and then re-exports the same product to another partner in the trade agreement, but tariff-free. Re-exportation can be used to avoid sanctions by other nations.
Re-exports consist of foreign goods exported in the same state as previously imported, from the free circulation area, premises for inward processing or industrial free zones, directly to the rest of the world and from premises for customs warehousing or commercial free zones, to the rest of the world.
An entrepôt (English: /ˈɒntrəpoʊ/ ON-trə-poh; French: [ɑ̃tʁəpo] ⓘ) or transshipment port is a port, city, or trading post where merchandise may be imported, stored, or traded, usually to be exported again. Such cities often sprang up and such ports and trading posts often developed into commercial cities due to the growth and expansion of long-distance trade.[1] These places played a critical role in trade during the days of wind-powered shipping. In modern times customs areas have largely made entrepôts obsolete, but the term is still used to refer to duty-free ports with a high volume of re-export trade.
The risks entailed by these circumstances put a premium on the creation of such a fixed base, where commodities could be stockpiled prior to marketing and final distribution. Furthermore, concentrating storage, transport, and insurance facilities in one place helped reduce transaction costs and keep long-term prices more stable than they otherwise would have been. The entrepôt functioned thus as a central reservoir of commodities, a regulating mechanism smoothing out fluctuations in supply and demand over time and minimizing the effects of interruptions and bottlenecks.[1]
A free-trade zone (FTZ) is a class of special economic zone.[1][2] It is a geographic area where goods may be imported, stored, handled, manufactured, or reconfigured and re-exported under specific customs regulation and generally not subject to customs duty. Free trade zones are generally organized around major seaports, international airports, and national frontiers—areas with many geographic advantages for trade.[3]
An export-processing zone (EPZ) is a specific type of FTZ usually set up in developing countries by their governments to promote industrial and commercial exports. According to the World Bank, "an export processing zone is an industrial estate, usually a fenced-in area of 10 to 300 hectares, that specializes in manufacturing for export. It offers firms free trade conditions and a liberal regulatory environment. Its objectives are to attract foreign investors, collaborators, and buyers who can facilitate entry into the world market for some of the economy's industrial goods, thus generating employment and foreign exchange".[8]
Free economic zones (FEZ), free economic territories (FETs) or free zones (FZ) are a class of special economic zone (SEZ) designated by the trade and commerce administrations of various countries. The term is used to designate areas in which companies are taxed very lightly or not at all to encourage economic activity. The taxation rules and duties are determined by each country.[14] The World Trade Organization (WTO) Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures (SCM) has content on the conditions and benefits of free zones.[15]
Some special economic zones are called free ports or free trade ports. Sometimes they have historically been endowed with favorable customs regulations, such as the free port of Trieste, or the newer free trade port on Hainan Island.[16]
When dealing with trade data, it is essential to subtract re-exports from normal exports to arrive at the final value of exports. This is necessary because re-exports do not undergo any value-added processes, so cannot be counted towards a nation's exports.
Factory was the common name during the medieval and early modern eras for an entrepôt – which was essentially an early form of free-trade zone or transshipment point. At a factory, local inhabitants could interact with foreign merchants, often known as factors.[1]
A factory could serve simultaneously as market, warehouse, customs, defense and support to navigation and exploration, headquarters or de facto government of local communities.

TV SHOWS: Set in 1959 Miami, Florida, shortly after the Cuban Revolution, Magic City tells the story of Ike Evans (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), the owner of Miami's most glamorous hotel, the Miramar Playa. Evans is forced to make an ill-fated deal with Miami Jewish Mob boss Ben Diamond (Danny Huston) to ensure the success of his glitzy establishment. Entourage is an American comedy-drama television series that premiered on HBO on July 18, 2004, and ended on September 11, 2011, after eight seasons. The series was created and largely written by Doug Ellin and chronicles the acting career of Vincent Chase, a young A-list movie star, and his childhood friends from Queens, New York City, as they attempt to further their nascent careers in Los Angeles.
Value theory is the study of values. Also called axiology, it examines the nature, sources, and types of values. It is a branch of philosophy and an interdisciplinary field closely associated with social sciences such as economics, sociology, anthropology, and psychology.
Naturalism is a literary movement beginning in the late nineteenth century, similar to literary realism in its rejection of Romanticism, but distinct in its embrace of determinism, detachment, scientific objectivism, and social commentary. Literary naturalism emphasizes observation and the scientific method in the fictional portrayal of reality. Naturalism includes detachment, in which the author maintains an impersonal tone and disinterested point of view; determinism, which is defined as the opposite of free will, in which a character's fate has been decided, even predetermined, by impersonal forces of nature beyond human control; and a sense that the universe itself is indifferent to human life. The novel would be an experiment where the author could discover and analyze the forces, or scientific laws, that influenced behavior, and these included emotion, heredity, and environment.
Ontology is the philosophical study of being. It is traditionally understood as the subdiscipline of metaphysics focused on the most general features of reality. As one of the most fundamental concepts, being encompasses all of reality and every entity within it. To articulate the basic structure of being, ontology examines the commonalities among all things and investigates their classification into basic types, such as the categories of particulars and universals. Particulars are unique, non-repeatable entities, such as the person Socrates, whereas universals are general, repeatable entities, like the color green. Another distinction exists between concrete objects existing in space and time, such as a tree, and abstract objects existing outside space and time, like the number 7. Systems of categories aim to provide a comprehensive inventory of reality by employing categories such as substance, property, relation, state of affairs, and event.
Hermeneutics (/hɜːrməˈnjuːtɪks/)[1] is the theory and methodology of interpretation,[2][3] especially the interpretation of biblical texts, wisdom literature, and philosophical texts.[4][5] As necessary, hermeneutics may include the art of understanding and communication.[6]
Surrealist automatism is a method of art-making in which the artist suppresses conscious control over the making process, allowing the unconscious mind to have great sway.
Positivism is a philosophical school that holds that all genuine knowledge is either true by definition or positive – meaning a posteriori facts derived by reason and logic from sensory experience.[1][2] Other ways of knowing, such as intuition, introspection, or religious faith, are rejected or considered meaningless.
Action Française (French pronunciation: [aksjɔ̃ fʁɑ̃sɛːz], AF; English: French Action) was a French far-right monarchist and nationalist political movement. The Ultra-royalists (French: ultraroyalistes, collectively Ultras) were a French political faction from 1815 to 1830 under the Bourbon Restoration. An Ultra was usually a member of the nobility of high society who strongly supported Roman Catholicism as the state and only legal religion of France, the Bourbon monarchy,[10] traditional hierarchy between classes and census suffrage (privileged voting rights), while rejecting the political philosophy of popular will and the interests of the bourgeoisie along with their liberal and democratic tendencies.
Integral nationalism (French: nationalisme intégral) is a type of nationalism[1][2][3] that originated in 19th-century France, was theorized by Charles Maurras and mainly expressed in the ultra-royalist circles of the Action Française. The doctrine is also called Maurrassisme.
In philosophy, empiricism is an epistemological view which holds that true knowledge or justification comes only or primarily from sensory experience and empirical evidence.[1]
Empirical evidence is evidence obtained through sense experience or experimental procedure. It is of central importance to the sciences and plays a role in various other fields, like epistemology and law.
A sense is a biological system used by an organism for sensation, the process of gathering information about the surroundings through the detection of stimuli. Although, in some cultures, five human senses[1] were traditionally identified as such (namely sight, smell, touch, taste, and hearing), many more are now recognized.[2] Senses used by non-human organisms are even greater in variety and number. During sensation, sense organs[3] collect various stimuli (such as a sound or smell) for transduction, meaning transformation into a form that can be understood by the brain. Sensation and perception are fundamental to nearly every aspect of an organism's cognition, behavior and thought.
Renaissance humanists sought to create a citizenry able to speak and write with eloquence and clarity, and thus capable of engaging in the civic life of their communities and persuading others to virtuous and prudent actions. Humanism, while set up by a small elite who had access to books and education, was intended as a cultural movement to influence all of society. It was a program to revive the cultural heritage, literary legacy, and moral philosophy of the Greco-Roman civilization. It first began in Italy and then spread across Western Europe in the 14th, 15th, and 16th centuries. During the period, the term humanist (Italian: umanista) referred to teachers and students of the humanities, known as the studia humanitatis, which included the study of Latin and Ancient Greek literatures, grammar, rhetoric, history, poetry, and moral philosophy. It was not until the 19th century that this began to be called humanism instead of the original humanities, and later by the retronym Renaissance humanism to distinguish it from later humanist developments.[2]

Watching the news and social media at the same time is now very bizarre
On social media you’ll see videos of Israeli football hooligans running around Amsterdam destroying Palestinian flags and attacking people while also running around in mobs with improvised blunt weapons (looked like planks but I’d have to look at it again) and singing chants wishing for Arab death
Then in the news and on every politicians page they’re calling it a pogrom and kristalnacht 2, disavowing anti semitism
Also the first thing I saw about it wasn’t even outside the arena, the maccabi fans were filmed not observing a minutes silence for the Valencia flood victims
