every time people bring up that ghosts have to exist because there's no other explanation for some things.............. there are many explanations. and most of them are that the human brain has a huge capacity to see things that aren't there and make meaningless connections
#i'm not saying that people don't experience things they don't understand and can't explain#i am saying that ghosts aren't real#idk i'm trying to edit myself less about not wanting to be seen as a buzzkill skeptic... i'm allowed to say that unproven things aren't rea#i find it hugely comforting for there to be no afterlife and nothing supernatural and i know that some other people do as well#not everybody who wrings their hands over how sad/scary/hopeless they think it must be to not believe is correct#why are you characterizing me like a chick tract strawman? i'm like. a person with feelings.
