The former Dark Elf paused. He leaned forward, mouth meeting the center of his interlocked fingers. His eyes, always so dark, looked her up and down, wondering how much of his recent life he ought to share. She knew him near well enough by now...but there was a difference between a soldier's duty, a survivor's grief-stricken gut-reaction and the boiling bloodlust he'd acquired since regenerating (in his defense, it usually followed blinding rage.)
