"I was thinking the wedding should take place just as the sun starts to dip into the horizon, and the reception be held right after," Mrs. Nyx Endless says, then titters. "Of course, the reception would last until morning. We have to make sure that all our hundreds of guests are happy until they leave, and that would be whatever time they decide to leave. I'm thinking an open bar and two dozen new hors d'oeuvres every half an hour. We'd absolutely hate to bore anyone."

Hob nods and notes all of those down, saying nothing but already cursing internally. A sunset wedding alone is going to be hell to arrange. He'd have to consult actual meteorologists for it, and then pray to a hundred different gods to make sure it's not going to be rainy, cloudy, or whatever the hell England's weather is planning to do on that date. And two dozen new hors d'oeuvres every half an hour? Christ.

"A sunset wedding sounds marvellous, Nyx," Mrs. Muse agrees. "The golden hues of the sun would complement the golden theme of the wedding. And, of course, Calliope must look like Midas's daughter herself."

Hob nods dutifully again and notes that down, careful to keep his face blank, then bites the insides of his cheeks so he doesn't laugh in Mrs. Muse's face at that unfortunate reference.

Were Ms. Calliope to look like Midas's daughter herself, then Dream would be marrying a silent, golden statue. But then again, maybe he would prefer that. Lord knows he'd want someone as different from Hob as he could get, who everyone and their 3rd butler knows is just one dirty, stinking, unworthy, flea-bitten mongrel.

"I..." Calliope hesitates, then looks around for support. Hob pointedly does not notice how she toys with Dream's fingers, and how Dream squeezes her hand back. It looked like an automatic, intimate gesture. A silent conversation where meanings are translated almost instantaneously because of how well one understands the other. Hob looks steadfastly down at his notes and wills his own hands not to shake. "I would just like to have a simple garden wedding, actually."

Mrs. Muse tuts at her. "Nonsense, darling. A 'simple garden wedding' will not be the most talked-about event of the season. No, we'll have to have your wedding on a beach, somewhere lovely with white sand, and you'll be bedecked in topaz and sapphires like a goddess."

Mrs. Endless gasps in excitement. "Oh, Mnemosyne, that's such a brilliant idea! Sweet Calliope would look absolutely stunning in topaz and sapphire jewelry, while Dream could wear some matching blue and yellow roses pinned on his lapel."

Hob, again, says nothing to that and only notes everything down. In Calliope's previously empty column, he writes down '(simple) garden wedding.' In Mrs. Muse's column, he adds 'white sand beach wedding, sapphire and topaz jewelry (lots).' In Mrs. Endless's column, he adds 'blue and yellow roses pinned on groom's lapel.'

(Hob doesn't think he can write Dream's name yet. He thinks even that will hurt him.)

Dream has yet to say anything, and his column is as empty as the promises he once made to Hob. "And you, Mr. Endless?" Hob asks his notes. "Do you have any preferences?"

Dream takes a moment to even acknowledge that he has been asked a question. Hob thinks this is because Dream's father, that old curmudgeonly bastard, just died a year ago, and Dream is probably used to others saying, 'Mr. Endless' and the title referring only to his father. Well tough luck, because Hob isn't about to call him Young Master Dream or whatever their staff calls the Endless children.

"Anything Calliope wants," is what he finally says, voice still sounding the same, so hypnotizing and deep, if a bit hoarse, like he wasn't used to talking anymore. His eyes remain on the mostly full plate in front of him. He has barely eaten the previous courses, and his small square of chocolate cake with raspberry filling (decorated with gold leaf and a small gravity-defying chocolate sculpture of a bird in flight) had only been played with to create the illusion that he took a bite.

Hob hates that he still notices these things. Notices these things and worry. That it still makes him want to drag Dream to the nearest hole-in-the-wall restaurant he knows where they serve cheap but hearty meals that fill your stomach as the cozy atmosphere fills your soul.

"Dream," Mrs. Endless scolds. "Will it kill you to sound enthusiastic? This is your wedding, too, you know!"

Mrs. Muse hushes her friend and coos at Dream. "Oh, Nyx, please, it's fine." To her daughter, she says, "Did you hear that, Calliope? Dream says, 'Anything you want,' so you better want something truly spectacular! My, what a good man your son is, Nyx," she continues, seemingly not noticing how Mrs. Endless is continuing to scold Dream through her eyes. "So sweet and accommodating."

Mrs. Muse then turns to Hob like he is just another lady in her court during rich-people tea time. Like they were close and she isn't thinking about how his mere presence is polluting the very air she breathes. "Isn't he just the sweetest, Mr. Gadling?"

Hob thinks about his boyfriend Dream from years ago and how he is in the mornings, wearing nothing but Hob's ratty jumpers, his messy hair that looks like a bird's nest, his eyes soft and blinking sleep away, smiling at Hob like he's the most beautiful thing he has ever seen. He thinks about Dream's gentle, addicting little kisses that Hob only token protests at because finals week is coming up and they need to study and not fuck like rabbits again. He thinks of Dream saying, 'yes,' saying, 'I love you, Hob,' saying, 'I'll love you forever.'

Hob nods politely, showing Mrs. Muse his most impersonal smile and speaking in his most professional voice. "I'm sure he is."

my darling, how long do you want to be loved? is forever enough? is a rated-G oneshot about the two of them bonding over Katara’s pregnancy.

Katara laughs and buries her head in the crook of Aang’s neck. In bed, he’s been tracing lazy figure eights across the small of her back. “How did we get here?”

“Well, we left the Earth King’s party after thirty-seven minutes-”

Still laughing. Aang can feel her head shake against his chest, like a magnolia raining leaves in a storm. He wants to close his eyes as long as possible and memorize the ebbs and flows of her joy, the imprints it makes in the air.

“Oh, right! And we stole dumplings,” Katara adds gently, “wrapped in napkins in my purse! I’ll never get the grease stains out.” If only oil and water were similar, she could lift the marks with a swish of her hand.

“I guess you’ll just have to use regular ol’ soap and water. Like a peasant.”

“Like a fool!”

in reverence, my cup runneth over for you is a rated-T one-shot about Katara and Aang dancing in their kitchen.

They will raise children here someday. Aang wants a daughter with whom to dance in the kitchen. Together they will shift, clumsy under skeins of moonlight; he’ll toddle around, practicing steps by letting their girl stand on his feet. She will teach him the extra-extra-cool dance moves, picked up from magazines or some technology not yet invented, because grown-ups simply don’t understand.

Aang kisses Katara. Oh, she is going to be the rest of his life. The sheer notion of this runs through his mind like a horse unbridled.

“I love the kitchen,” she finally murmurs, hugging him closer. “No need to worry, not with me.”

He already knew, but a reminder never hurts.

He talks to her about the wilder dreams (not wildest, for those have already come true) and they waltz over dusty floorboards that leave speckles on the bottoms of their shoes. The kitchen will be furnished another time. Tonight is for dancing.

“Honey,” Aang murmurs, two full syllables this time. Voicing anything hurts at the moment 一 he’s taken ill this week 一 but he has to catch her attention. “Katara.”

She groans. “Yeah?”

“You gotta go. I - I’m gonna get you sick if you stay any longer.”

Her head shakes ‘nope’ and Aang can feel the brush of her hair against his neck. You could hear a pin drop. Even the crickets have ceased chirping tonight.

“I’m not fun to be around.”

“That’s a lie,” she whispers. “Can I kiss you?” He’s been trying not to get her sick all week, and she ought to ask before moving any closer.

“I miss you.” Aang wraps his arms around her and leans in. “I don’t think I should kiss you. Germs. Disease. Y’know, plague and death.”

“How did we get to death?”

Aang looks down at her hand. She’s still wearing the friendship bracelet he wove for her out of linengrass.

He wants, not for the first time, to press his hand to her face and kiss her. He wonders if her cheeks would be cold against his. Hasn’t ever been close enough to check. Aang moves his thumb an inch until it’s over hers.

He looks at her. Is this okay?

Moonbeams wash into the bedroom through the ice. She might be blushing but he can’t quite tell.

Do you want this? Do you want me? he tries to communicate with his gaze. He was never very good at this. Monks are taught to let go of desire, not harbor it deep inside.

when the ice forgives is an AU in the works. In which, post-series, Kya is discovered sleeping in an iceberg and Katara’s whole family bond over the discovery that she’s alive. Katara & Aang are also engaged in this story and they’re very sweet.

“Were you preparing something in the kitchen?” Aang asked. He’d slept in, and he was hungry.

“I… might have been.” She pursed her lips for a moment, then let the grin wash away any hint of neutrality on her face. “Okay, there’s some baozi. And I was wondering if you wanted to eat hot pot for lunch? That was, uh, the noise you heard.”

She was so comforting. Everything about it, from her culinary plans to her one morning cup of tea, stolen from him, was predictable. He loved her. He told her, and they curled into the bed. Katara laid down, absentmindedly stroking her thumb across Aang’s cheekbone, and reminded him he was a sap. An honest, lovable one, but still.

“I like you,” she whispered. The words hung in the white, almost silver, morning light. They were predictable too, and Aang couldn’t get enough of them. “I like you very much.”

He kept his gaze on her and ran his thumb over the curve of her eyebrow, down her cheek until he was tracing her bottom lip. “You’re so…” and he kissed her before saying, “special. I didn’t think I could meet somebody like you. Someone so uncommonly kind.”

Aoi Yamamura also know by his moniker Blue Wolf is a toymaker and the leader of Aomori division Howling Moon

once a war bomber and arsonist infamous for his madness and destruction after leave the army he used his talent on machines and pyrotechnics to make toys, eventually opening his own or rather second toystore

But under his aloof, joy and fatherly personality the toymaker has his own secrets....perhaps related to the rumors about "Aomori's werewolf" or his losed memories... that's well could maybe be his reason to join the DRB, related to his biological children he cannot remember

Despite have around 40s Aoi is tall and muscle handsome man who not apparently more than 20-30s. looking younger than his real age. He has skin pale as ivory and tousled light blue hair until the back of the neck with two locks longer to his chest. Aoi's eyes are gold yellow with a mischievous and calm glow in them. Something noticeable is that the whole right side of his face is darker for the burn scars he has on the face and his left eye has a cut scar

Aoi's daily outfit consist of a long sleeve black shirt that shows his clavicle and a bit of his chest with a leather jacket that has the image of a wolf howling to the moon on the back in silver colour. Contrary to his delinquent appearance Aoi is a person very calm and joy who enjoys of teasing people in a friendly way and act with joy calm almost always. nice and creative he thinks is funny when poeple enters to his toystore for first time and how they look surprise when find that he is not only the toystore owner but the toymaker too

Something that anyone can say after see Aoi interact with his adoptive children,Hisui and Ruka, and the kids who go often to his toystore is his surprisingly fatherly personality, when Hisui and Ruka he act patient and attent, taking care of and worry of them acting like a father figure and seeing them as his own flesh and blood. Despite his joking teases towards them

But something that only people close to him can say his how Aoi is more smart and analysting than he looks at first glance, besides Aoi is a great pyromaniac who in the past was infamous for the deadly explosives and massive arsons he provoked in the wars. Aoi recognize he not lament all destruction he provoked with his own bombs and arsons but he enjoyed of them and he still enjoying of the destruction via fire...

About his "wolf secret" he is quite neutral, liking the feel of freedom he feels from his memories as a wokf but Aoi also feel dislike for the pain of his tranformations, how lose all control of himself and wake up without memories of the full moon nights plus, the confution and ausence of memories he feel when try to remember around of few years ago...but the thing he hates more is know as that he has biológical children out there and he cannot remember them but he just try to looking for answers

Despite being so infamous as war arsonist/bomber Aoi admite that he just joined to army only for have a excuse to "plant bombs and set shit on fire without aftermaths"

Aoi's MC name "blue wolf" is the same nickname he got on the wars, especially after his most infamous act of bomb a whole mountain just for his own fun

Aoi always knew that Hisui was in the same supernatural/scientist lab as him despite Hisui escaped after him

His toystore is named "Okami", is a toystore decorated with a rustic style and drawing/painting in a traditional japanese art with colorful decoration

Aoi knew about the supernatural since his childhood and had the werewolf genes inactive since kid, he just turned into a werewolf after the supernatural experiment on him to "wake up" the genes

Due to his job as toymaker Aoi meet much people in DRB who is related to children (like Kisouna Yuzairu, Ayumu hayami,Seiji tsukimoto etc)

He is very worried for Hisui's healt problem caused by the experiments on him, in part he is in DRB trying to find a way of cure him (even if is little probable that problems would ve deadly)

During the war he met assasins like "black dahlia" and "the reaper". but Aoi is not sure of can recognize them fue to his amnesia

Aoi is one-eyes because the burn on his face let him blind of the right eye so he cover that eye with the eyepatch

Although never met each other just in the surface too much people noticed that Aoi is almost physically identical to Aoba Yamamura of Kumamoto, just that Aoi looks more male than him, and anyone with enough brain can see how they are related

Lets start w/ the obvious. He says there's nothing wrong with his right eye but I beg to differ there’s a long vertical scar in the middle of his eyelid from Diluc’s weapon grazing it in their fight.

As a result its not that sensitive since it was years ago, almost a decade from my math

There’s a theory bopping around that the Alberich clan messed with Kae’s eye, being able to see through it & considering the symbolism with Khaenriah and eyes it makes a lot of sense, as well as his turning his back on his clan and nation in favor of Mondstadt would make the eyepatch much more of a useful thing beyond appearances, refusing to let whatever higher Abyssal powers get intel on Mondstadt by his doing.

Traveler Lumine-

Constantly getting new scars & bruises (she has a knack for worrying Paimon)

Lets her hair grow out- it reminds her of Aether. (she ends up cutting it short again save for her bangs in an episode, and she says it’s better for fighting that way anyway.)

Lightning scars from anti-raiden shogun training (she still slightly distrusts Yae Miko for that), as well as getting struck down constantly in Inazuma- they’re all over her spine, shoulder blades, neck, hands, legs, everything. She jumps every time lightning cracks in a storm, whipping around as if to lunge at the next thing that moves

Various elemental-caused scarring from mastering different elements- that’s why she prefers Anemo, it does the least long-term damage to her body and it’s easiest for her to control because she’s had it the longest

Oh my god her hands are filled with callouses, they’re so rough yet her touch is so soft girlie is pretty <33

Her hair is consistently knotty and dirty- what can I say, the girl doesn’t get to thoroughly shower much, especially before getting the teapot

Literally every item of clothing she owns is stained. Noelle is her saviour every time she comes back to Mondstadt for insisting on getting the stains out and patching her clothes up for her/redoing Lumi’s shoddy patch jobs— sewing was always Aether’s thing.

This isn’t new for me but she and Aether have matching earrings— his is still black in the Abyss but he never takes it out, the only time he tried he got a gut punch of regret and feeling like he was viscerally betraying some unspoken binding law, and Lumi has never even tried taking it out, always cherishing how it connects her to her brother no matter where he is, changing colors with each nation closer she gets to finding him and bringing him home to her.

May the Seven help the monster that rips it out as she’s fighting. You think you’ve seen Lumine seething with unbridled rage until you saw what happened to every monster in a 700 m radius of her that night. It makes her grinding teeth and piercing stares that could kill look like child’s play in comparison. Tears rivered down her cheeks and sobs wracked her body as she staggered towards the nearest teleport waypoint, seeking out the one statue she finds the most comfort in. Under the tree of Windrise, she places the earring back into the slit where it once hung as Barbatos’s statue seals her wounds and encloses her earring back into place, housing her safely for the night high in the tree, the wind god watching over his warrior.

She handles her injuries well, both physical and mental. It’s only in the teapot, secluded in her room with Paimon and a German shepard from Mondstadt as her only comfort, that she lets her cries rock her to sleep.

Although a nuisance while swimming, she’s always thankful for the white and grey armor she had gotten custom-made after her initiation as honorary knight at the start of her travels.

Every region she’s traveled through, she’s made sure to acquire a signature accessory, displaying them on her dresser in the teapot and wearing them when she misses those in other nations.

Makes it a habit that every first new flower she picks up gets pressed in her adventure journal. Her favorite has always been the windwheel asters.

Lumine is always the one to protect Paimon, so the first time her floating companion throws herself in between her and the enemy, she makes a vow to herself to never let harm come to the best travel guide in all of Teyvat, even if it costs her everything.

Lumi is often off put by quiet things, preferring to let every noise filter through her. As a result, she ends up seeming very aloof and reserved, but she’s really just studying everything she can get her eyes on. She often forgets to even speak, despite being active in conversations with others mentally, and the link between her and Paimon forged after their many travels has allowed for Paimon to be able to speak up for Lumine in most situations, with well-enough accuracy. Paimon uses this to great degree when she can sense Lumine becoming overwhelmed and nonverbal, subbing in for her, as well as for phrases and words Lumine had not yet learnt in the common language of Teyvat at the start of her adventures. While the language barrier is much less of a problem now, Paimon still often speaks up for Lumine when the ladder starts feeling overwhelmed and anxious, something she greatly appreciates.

When Lumine finds it difficult to sleep, she often ends up taking walks around wherever she’s staying, most often the teapot or whatever hotel she can find. She finds the moon and stars calming, knowing every time she lays eyes on Celestia that she and Aether will one day return to those gates and conquer the one who had separated them 500 years ago. She finds comfort in knowing she and her brother can and will be reunited.

Despite “The Traveler” being a well-known enigma across Teyvat, most end up not being able to recognize her on the streets until she eventually ends up saving their country. She wonders what it would be like to be able to live in anonymity for eternity, not having to put everything on the line in trade for simple recognition?

Despite the familiarity of her armor and dress, she often wonders what the fashion of different nations would be like to wear. That is, until she sees the price tag, resolving to save her Mora for better equipment instead.

Lumine is always gentle with animals out of compassion, but it never occurs to people why she is so ruthlessly efficient with what she dismantles or kills— ever since the incident with Dain in the Chasm, she has vowed to make whatever suffering of Abyss creatures brief, viewing her extermination of camps as early releases from the curse of the Abyss. She couldn’t handle thinking about it any other way. She couldn’t let herself view them as anything more than things to be put out of their misery after learning the truth of their existence.

Sometimes Kaylee found it hard to track Magus’s train of thought. He seemed to tell her those sweet whispers she’d come to enjoy so much about Adam, but there was something more lurking underneath. The way he looked at her. The way his fingertips brushed against her skin. He set a fire inside of her. Her brain knew better but her heart would lurch into her stomach at just a glance. And the way he looked at her. That all encompassing passion and desire. It tugged at her heart strings. She loved Adam but Kaylee also knew that she settled for Adam. She was always going to be tortured by love in the end and at least with Adam there was a sense of security despite the fact there was always going to be an expiration date. She settled for a quiet love that would die out like a soft candle finally coming to the end of its wick. It was better than a love so powerful it went off like an atomic bomb when it finally blew up in her face.

But here was Magus, promising her the best of both worlds. She could be his forever. She could give everything to him and in return receive everything from him. She’d be lying if she said the idea didn’t float in her head unexpectedly. And his first gift lay sprawled out on the floor of his spaceship. The mousy brown hair of a man Kaylee once loved. So strange to think how much Ezekiel Stane had control over her once upon a time. When all he was, was a catalyst. A match that lit a fuse. Sure he was dangerous, but his games were child’s play. Still, without him, Kaylee never would have acted out of revenge. Her soul never would have fractured like it did. She never would have become Pestilence. She never would have met the Titan. Sophie’s soul would have never been lost. Her son would never have been born. And she would have continued to live her life probably just as fully as now with her soul intact.

Sapphire eyes found Magus’s. Kaylee watched him as he studied her expression. Was this supposed to be a gift? He was right though. Ridding the universe of Stane would only serve to make it a better place. She wondered if he was planning on hunting down all of her ex lovers. If this was just the appetizer there was no question who the main course was.

Much like every other moment Kaylee was presented with when it came to Magus, this situation cut her down the middle. Her heart fighting against her head. She wanted Zeke dead. More than dead. She wanted him to fracture and break the same way he broke her. She wanted him to suffer. She wanted him to know pain above anything else. That’s why all those years ago she had settled on ripping his limbs from his body. She should have ripped his tongue out too. But revenge rarely got anyone anywhere but more heartache.

“Hey there sweetheart.” Zeke’s familiar voice rang out. Bound and on his knees as he was, he still was a snake. Dangerous and taunting her. 

Kaylee swiftly backhanded him, sending him clattering to the ground. His legs grew back but she wasn’t opposed to ripping them off again. That dark purple hue clouded her eyes until they shone like two stars bright, hot, unrelenting. She pulled him up off the ground by gripping his chin and stared into his eyes, knowing the white hot pupils of hers would blind him until his healing factor kicked in. “The only reason you’re still alive is because I’m showing restraint. You speak to me again and I’ll rip your tongue out of your head and feed it to you.”

She stepped back, moving to face Magus as he watched her. Her body was vibrating. A faint glow engulfed her as she pulled in the ambient energy around her. The beautiful yellow sundress she was wearing disappeared, replaced with the red and black vision of her Warbird suit. There was so much anger building up in her core that she balled her fists up sending the access energy down and through the gauntlets, letting them pulse to dissipate to new energy she pulled in. Things were different post Pestilence. Kaylee didn’t have much of a limit anymore when it came to what she could absorb. The Extremis virus that pulsed through her veins was fully unlocked and would be able to keep up with her absorption. Her Titan powers would expel like hellfire. She was truly something to behold these days. The perfect soldier Lady Death wanted her to be. Is this what Magus wanted too?

Was he daring her to break the mold? Was he pushing all her buttons to sculpt her into his perfect evil empress? It would be just her luck, and her naivety. She thought she had learned her lesson, twice now she had let herself be fooled by two egomanics hell bent on genocide. Third time’s the charm it would seem.

Her eyes narrowed on Magus dangerously. He should know more than anyone not to play with her like this. But he would know more than any just exactly what it took to play her. Here she was once again, stuck between what her heart wanted and what her logical brain dictated.

“What’s the endgame here Magus? Is this what you wanted? Me fully exalted at your side?” she was teetering on the edge, Zeke muttering nonsense behind her. She raised the gauntlet, sending a stream of white hot light pummeling into him, her eyes never leaving Magus’s. 

Zeke’s body lay on the ground in a heap, smoke rising from the wounds she inflicted. She would not waste her breath on him again but she would shut him up every chance she got. “I don’t want to be another man’s plaything. I’ve been that enough. If you truly love me as you say, you’ll get this man out of my sight, put back into his cell, and you’ll stop trying to push me into the direction you want.”

Little Homeworld Life chapter 22: Seeing Black (originally posted on May 22, 2023)

AN: After almost a year of waiting, the Black Pearl Brigade have finally returned from their final battle with Cinnabar! It's been a while since I last wrote them, so bear with me as I try to get back into the swing of writing five or six characters who are almost the exact same. And in addition, we got another batch of new characters joining Black Rutile, one of whom we've already seen in De-Clustering during Tanzanite's flashback. The plot begins to thicken as we reach the epic climax of Little Homeworld Life.

Synopsis: The Black Pearl Brigade, now retired after defeating Cinnabar, decide to move to Earth. Meanwhile, Cinnabar is broken out of prison by another of Black Rutile's minions.

"Don't get too cocky, Andesine!" the red-clad captain of the Black Pearl Brigade yelled from her captain's chair at the other ship they were dogfighting with. "All systems, fire!"

"Will do, Cap!" Pony, the blue-dressed second in command of the Brigade, saluted before pointing the Servant's weapons at the ship. In the months since the fall of Black Rutile and Cinnabar, though the Black Pearls had planned on going wherever the winds took them, there were still members of the Rutile Rebels hiding across the universe that needed to be brought to justice. Andesine happened to be one of them. A former sergeant of Yellow Diamond feared far and wide for her sadism and patience, best demonstrated as Andesine heartlessly used her fleet as shields, the orange Gem dressed in samurai-like armor led an entire army of fellow Rutile Rebels in trying to conquer what territory had been lost by her master and comrades.

Along with Andesine were a long-haired orange Amber dressed in a tan jacket, brown zip-up overalls, and an orange scarf around her neck, and a Howlite with black veins spreading across her face wearing a turtle-necked sweater and a visor over her eyes.

"Lady Andesine, we seem to be evenly matched with these Pearls." Howlite cautioned her superior as Andesine's ship was at war with the Servant and the Sun Incinerator. "What do you suggest we do now?"

"I say we should keep firing, nerd!" Amber yelled at Howlite's face. "There's gotta be a weak point we can exploit or something!"

"Not everything can be solved with violence, you hotheaded clod!" Howlite argued with Amber. "Sometimes, we have to make a plan and wait for an opportunity!"

"Sometimes, plans don't always work out, and opportunities will fail too." Amber retorted. "Game, set, and match! Nailed it!"

"Can it, you fools!" Andesine commanded her two minions to cease their bickering. "While I agree with Amber that sometimes brute force can get good results, my current plan might be more Howlite's speed." This caused Howlite to stick her tongue out at Amber while Amber pulled down an eyelid. "What the Pearls don't realize is that I'm planning to break Cinnabar out of prison and bring her to Black Rutile, wherever she may be. My idea is to feign surrender so we can be taken to Revanche 666 and stage a breakout."

"That's a brilliant idea." Howlite agreed while side-eyeing Amber, who just rolled her eyes while folding her arms. "But how can we convince the Pearls that we surrender? Surely they'll get suspicious about what you have planned."

"Just follow my lead," Andesine answered before ordering her ships to stop firing and opening communications with the Black Pearl Brigade and the Off-Colors. "I'd like to arrange a formal meeting with the enemy fleet to reach a truce."

"What kind of truce?" Cap asked suspiciously.

"This better not be a trap, Andesine!" Lars shouted.

"No, there is no trap," Andesine promised while crossing her fingers behind her back, letting Amber and Howlite know she was telling a big, fat lie. "As of today, my associates and I peacefully surrender."

"Wait, already?!" Lars exclaimed. "We kinda thought that you'd resist just a little longer! What's with the sudden change in attitude?"

Andesine glanced at Amber, causing her to start speaking too. "Oh, well, uh," Amber stumbled over her words. "we just felt so tired by all the chasing and fighting and thought that it was time we tried changing ourselves for the better."

"That's right!" Howlite added just as shakily. "All this time, we were so lost and directionless; all this warfare just seemed so senseless!"

"I still do not trust them!" Braids, the Brigade's yellow-wearing strongman, said bluntly. "Bring them aboard our ship to see if they truly mean what they say!"

"Hey, you want a fight, Pearl?!" Amber yelled at Braids. "That's right, you and me! Right now! We're having it out! Come on, come on!"

"Everybody, calm down." Fluorite soothed the tensions between all three parties. "Now then, Andesine, are you really certain you surrender?"

"I am as certain as the universe is vast." Andesine replied before quickly flashing her two cohorts a smile. "Please bring us to Revanche 666 so we may consider what we've done."

"IQ, what can you make of this?" Braids asked IQ, the green-garbed intelligence officer of the team.

"Hm, I can indeed conclude they are suspicious." IQ nodded in response. "But if they want to surrender, that makes our jobs easier."

"Andesine is going to surrender, but she has something sinister planned!" Padparadscha Sapphire exclaimed.

"Ignore her," Andesine stated. "Please, take us away, for we are now the last of the Rutile Rebels yet to be arrested!"

"She's right, it's only this fleet left to go, and then we've caught them all!" Pony added. "In any case, you're all under arrest! Lay down your arms, and we'll take you in quietly!"

"At long last, we have them all." Tails, the pink-wearing sharpshooter, smiled in relief. "What a relief."

"Okay, you three, just stay right there while we take you to prison," Lars ordered the three Rutile Rebels as he ended communications with Andesine, who began grinning evilly as soon as their eyes were off her.

"Flawless victory." Andesine declared to Amber and Howlite. "Once we receive our sentence, we shall form a plan from there."

"I like the way you're thinking, boss!" Amber said, rubbing her nose with her thumb and smirking.

"You always were a very patient Gem who loved taking advantage of whatever situation you got in," Howlite added as Andesine's ship was seized by the Black Pearls and the Off-Colors, causing the three Gems to raise their hands in surrender. "I hope you know what you're doing here, Andesine."

"Trust me; I know exactly what I'm doing," Andesine assured with a smirk.

Soon, Andesine and her fleet were transported to Revanche 666 to be admitted into the prison and brought to their cells. By this point in time, the number of prisoners had slowly decreased as more and more of the Rutile Rebels were rehabilitated in confinement and allowed to rejoin society. However, Cinnabar and her cohorts were among the prisoners that refused to accept defeat no matter how much the Black Pearls, Peridots, and Bismuths tried to convince them to abandon their warmongering ways. Now, they were soon to be joined by Andesine, Amber, Howlite, and all the other Gems who pledged allegiance to the trio, just as Andesine had planned.

"Okay, all of you single file!" Lars commanded the Gems being shown to their cells. "Nobody makes a ruckus; this is a prison we're running here, not a fight club."

"Did they seriously turn our headquarters into a prison?!" Amber yelled in outrage.

"I recognize the irony as well, Amber," Howlite replied dourly.

"Well, I think that should be everyone," Rhodonite said happily. "At long last, the universe is free of the Rutile Rebels. That reminds me, how has Black Rutile been doing since she was exiled to Earth?"

"Probably off plotting her revenge or something; I don't care anymore," Lars replied. "I'm just glad we finally put these bigots down once and for all."

"LOOK WHO'S TALKING!" a fusion loyal to Andesine yelled from the line.

"Hey, what did I say about making a ruckus?!" Lars yelled back. "Anyways, what else should we do now that we finally have some free time?"

"Yes, I've been wondering that too." Nacre, the Brigade's latest recruit, and medic dressed in white and formerly known as Shell, stated. "In the time since I've gained a physical body, I don't think I've had enough time to think about how it feels. There is just so much about the universe that I want to learn more about!"

"Well, if that's the case, why don't we find somewhere to retire to?" Cap asked. "Any suggestions?"

"We could go back to Kyukanza." Braids suggested. "The atmosphere and scenery are positively glorious."

"Or we could go to East Walleef again." IQ added. "Surely, the townsfolk will welcome us after how we saved them from Mr. Manco."

"Hm, good choices, all of you." Cap nodded in recognition of her teammates' options. "However, my decision differs ever so slightly. From this day on, we shall become residents of Earth!"

"Oh, Earth!" Nacre exclaimed cheerfully. "I've only been there as an artificial intelligence, but to be there as a full Gem would be so exciting!"

"Huh, what a weird coincidence." Lars realized as his eyes widened. "I've actually been planning on visiting Earth sometime to catch up with everybody down there. Why don't we both go there?"

"That would be a good idea." Tails nodded in agreement. "We can make a day out of it, have a little fun, reconnect with old friends, and make a new home."

"Well, what are we waiting for?!" Pony exclaimed. "Let's get a move on already!"

As the Black Pearls and the Off-Colors boarded their ships and left Revanche 666 for Earth, Andesine was getting acquainted with her new living situation while being led to her cell. Around her, she could see Gems sitting in their small cells guarded by a destabilizing field. Dalmatian Jasper was bouncing a ball against the wall of her cell, Xenotime was facing the corner and didn't turn once, Pyrite had been tallying up how many days she spent in confinement, Kyanite shapeshifted her hand into a harmonica, Bloodstone paced around her cell no doubt coming up with new crackpot theories, and Zoisite laid on her bench to stare at the ceiling. And then there was Cinnabar. What Andesine thought was once a proud and confident leader worthy of being Black Rutile's apprentice now sat defeated in her cell, contemplating how her actions led to her downfall.

"We're sorry that we failed, my lord." Andesine said to the caged Cinnabar.

"Don't fret, Andesine." Cinnabar sighed in defeat. "I failed just as hard."

"Okay, this will be your home until you finally realize what you're missing here." A Black Pearl guard said as she guided Andesine to her cell and closed the destabilizing field behind her. "Don't think about trying to get out. These cells were made to poof anyone who tries to escape."

As soon as the guard left, Andesine heard a knock on the wall. Surprisingly, she had been placed right next to Cinnabar's cell. "So, how did you get here?" Cinnabar asked. "How badly did you lose?"

"We didn't lose; we surrendered," Andesine said, to the shock and horror of Cinnabar and her cohorts. "But that's what we want them to think. We feigned loss because we plan to break you out and return to Black Rutile on Earth." She revealed. "Hopefully, she'll welcome us back in spite of our past failures to conquer the universe in her name."

"Wait, you want to break out of here?!" Dalmatian Jasper yelled. "No Gem ever escapes from Revanche!" The ball she was throwing then hit her in the face.

"They got round-the-clock security, and the Pearls show no mercy to anyone trying to escape!" Zoisite added.

"This is basically a suicide mission!" Kyanite stated, taking a break from her harmonica playing to show her concern. "And I'm unsure if Black Rutile would ever want us back."

"Hold on, everyone, let's just hear her out." Pyrite calmed everybody down. "Now, why do you think you'll be able to break out?"

"Because I have a little thing called hope," Andesine assured. "Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies."

"Good to see you're so optimistic," Bloodstone said.

"Hope can be a far stronger tool than fear, you know," Howlite stated. "After all, fear is the mind-killer and the little-death that will bring total obliteration."

"Aw, but we just got here!" Amber complained. "I've been planning on stabbing someone with a shiv!"

"Just as long as that someone isn't me." Xenotime declared as she slowly turned her head from the corner of her cell.

"So what do you say, Cinnabar?" Andesine asked Cinnabar, who was now reinspired by her fellow rebel's words of wisdom as she knocked on the wall again.

"I'm in." Cinnabar declared eagerly.

Meanwhile, on Earth, the Pearls had touched down in Little Homeworld, ready to start new lives away from the menace of the Rutile Rebels. Upon landing outside its gates, the Pearls disembarked from their ship to tour the Gem town and were greeted by its inhabitants along the way. The sights around her utterly enamored Nacre, as she was only here as an AI before, but now she could live her life as a full Pearl.

"Oh, hello there, welcome to Little Homeworld." The Brigade could hear Pearl greet them before she realized who she was talking to. "Oh my, the Black Pearl Brigade, is that you? How have you been lately? And who's this new Pearl?"

"Oh, we have much to tell you about what we've done since we were last here." Cap laughed awkwardly. "First of all, this is Nacre." Nacre gave a polite shake of Pearl's hand. "You may know her better as Shell, but now she gained a physical body after saving us by restoring our memories after we were temporarily amnesiac thanks to Cinnabar."

"Wait, Shell? As in the Shell from the Reef?" Pearl asked just as Garnet and Amethyst joined her. "How did that happen?"

"Well, that is actually a long story." Nacre stated. "You see, it all started when the Pearls' ship crashed into the Reef during an adventure and-"

"Well, well, well." Black Rutile declared as she reunited with the Pearls. "Hello there, Brigade. Fancy seeing you back here. I see you've got a wardrobe change and a new recruit." She glanced at Nacre. "A little taller than the rest of you, I see."

"You must be Black Rutile." Nacre said. "I've heard about how cruel and selfish you were, but I never thought I'd see you in person someday."

"Those are all just facetious lies!" Black Rutile barked at Nacre. "Now then, Pearls, what brings you here?"

"We're actually planning on moving into Little Homeworld now that we've taken down all your followers." Cap announced to Black Rutile. "Andesine surrendered pretty easily, surprisingly enough, but we got a feeling she has something planned."

"That's Andesine for you, always planning ahead of everyone else." Black Rutile replied before looking to the Crystal Gems. "Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, why don't you go and make the Pearls at home while I talk with them?"

"Fine, but don't do anything funny!" Amethyst agreed before walking away. "Hey, where do you think we should put it?"

"Guess we'll just have to pick a random spot." Garnet declared as the three Crystal Gems got further and further away, allowing Black Rutile to talk with her former foot soldiers in private.

"You remember what we agreed upon last time you visited Earth, correct?" Black Rutile asked menacingly, pulling out her bowie knife to prove her point. "Tell anyone about our little scuffle, and I'll make sure they pay the price."

"Yes, we still remember." Pony proclaimed. "But if you think you can control us again, we will have no choice but to expose you."

"Wait, what deal?" Nacre asked curiously. "I was on the Servant then, so I'm a little lost here." At the same time, the Servant began hovering above Little Homeworld as Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl piloted it to a good spot where they could make it into a new home for the Pearls.

"Basically, Black Rutile forced us never to tell anybody she was hiding in the woods." IQ recounted. "But I guess that doesn't work anymore since everybody knows you're here now."

"Oh, you think you're cute?!" Black Rutile snarled angrily.

"Please, we're adorable!" Braids confidently answered. "Jokes aside, this place is now under our protection! I do no doubt that you are plotting glorious revenge, and we shall not stand for it!"

"Well, go ahead, make my day." Black Rutile grinned. "If you feel like you are this town's protectors, then I dare one of you to hit me as hard as you can. Which one of you dares?" The Pearls all looked at each other awkwardly, taken aback by Black Rutile's sudden challenge. However, Nacre was quick to accept the offer.

"I'll do it!" Nacre eagerly cheered.

"Wow, you're quite enthusiastic for a piece of fresh meat." Black Rutile laughed. "Hit me with your best shot; fire away if you have to!" Unfortunately for Black Rutile, she only got a gentle tap on the chest. "You're joking, right?"

Back at Revanche 666, a great escape was soon to take place. Headed by Andesine and Cinnabar, the Rutile Rebels that were still imprisoned were plotting to break out of their confinement and escape to Earth, where Cinnabar had stated Black Rutile was currently located. After ripping off a part of the wall in her cell, Howlite tinkered with the wires to hack into the security systems and deactivate the destabilizing fields so they could exit their cells safely and find somewhere to hide from the guards.

"Okay, everybody, here is the plan." Andesine declared. "Once Cinnabar and I return to our cells, we'll act perfectly natural while the rest of you follow our orders." She then began putting the Gems into groups based on their assignments. "Howlite, you, Xenotime, and Bloodstone will take over the security systems and free everyone else from their cells. Amber, Dalmatian Jasper, and Zoisite will hold all personnel hostage. Finally, Kyanite and Pyrite will find us a ship to steal so we can be home free. Are we clear on this?"

"One question," Howlite said. "If our plan is found out, how shall we compensate for such an event?"

"It's quite simple," Andesine answered. "In case that happens, we shall take no survivors."

With that, the escape plan sprang into action. Almost immediately, DJ and Amber pretended to start a prison riot to get the guards' attention, their acting skills working flawlessly as Zoisite also pretended to try and break up the fight.

"I'm telling you, the Viltrumites stand no chance against the Chimera Sui Generis!" DJ argued with Amber. "Their superior strength and superhuman abilities make them unstoppable!"

"But a Chimera Sui Generis is far more durable than you realize!" Amber yelled back. "They can take a beating without breaking a sweat! And that's not even taking into account their squid forms!"

"Please, you two, stop fighting over such trivial things!" Zoisite begged the two fighting Gems as a group of Black Pearl and Bismuth guards arrived on the scene.

"Are we going to need to intervene here?" one of the Pearls asked threateningly while pointing her spear at DJ.

"Well, you just happened to show up at the right time." Dalmatian Jasper smirked as her gem conjured a hook to snag the Pearl by the neck. "Let's make one thing clear here, Pearl! I'm in charge of this joint now, and anyone who says otherwise will have to answer to my friends!" Zoisite followed up on her partner's threat by pulling out her naginata and taking out a Bismuth in one fell swoop. Meanwhile, Amber pulled out her weapon, a kusarigama, and used the chain to strange another Pearl to the point of poofing. "Do I make myself clear?"

"How did you even escape?!" the Pearl exclaimed in horror.

"Let's just say some friends of ours are smarter than you think." Dalmatian Jasper grinned.

"I think we're on the verge of a breakout here!" a Bismuth operating the security cameras exclaimed as she watched DJ and Amber fight the Pearls before she gave orders to the rest of the prison staff. "All units, mobilize to subdue the prisoners! I repeat, subdue the prisoners!"

"I don't believe that'll be necessary." Howlite said as she stood behind the Bismuth and struck her down with her baseball bat. "Bloodstone, Xenotime, you take out the rest of the guards! I'll shut down the rest of the cells!"

"Sounds like a plan," Xenotime answered robotically as she made time freeze around her, stopping the oncoming Bismuths in their tracks and poofing them all with ruthless precision and mechanical grace. As soon as time resumed, it was like Xenotime defeated them all in less than a second.

"Cheater." Bloodstone grimaced. "Didn't even let me get a hit in."

"Wibbly wobbly timey wimey powers, deal with it." Xenotime retorted smugly before turning to Howlite. "How is everything going?"

"I'm in!" Howlite declared as she shut down the entire defense grid and allowed every remaining prisoner to escape, causing mass chaos in Revanche 666 as far as the eye can see. "I love it when a plan comes together." However, while all the security cameras have been shut off by Howlite's hacking, at least one was left unnoticed by the three Gems. And it was still running.

Cinnabar and Andesine emerged from their cells to see the rioting Gems wreaking havoc and overwhelming the guards with their anger at being kept away for so long. The two grinned at each other, as it seemed their plan had gone off without a hitch.

"It's official; this prison is ours." Cinnabar proclaimed before a Peridot was dropped at their feet.

"Why are you doing this?" the Peridot yelled in terror. "How did you plan all this?!"

"It's a secret to everyone." Andesine winked at the Peridot before pulling a communicator from the gem on her chest. "Kyanite, how is finding a ship going?"

"Well, funny you should mention that because me and Pyrite just ran into a problem." Kyanite nervously said.

"Oh no." Cinnabar moaned. "What is it?"

"Hessonite just came and destroyed all the other ships," Kyanite said on the other end as she and Pyrite came face to face with Hessonite and Citrine. Every other ship in the prison had been destroyed, leaving Hessonite's warship the only one left, and Kyanite & Pyrite were currently at the end of the line.

"We've been watching this prison for quite some time in the event something like this happens." Hessonite declared while presenting her sword.

"But how did you know?!" Kyanite yelled.

"That Howlite forgot to shut off a camera that was running on backup power," Citrine answered as she grabbed a defenseless Kyanite and Pyrite.

"What?! How was I supposed to know?!" Cinnabar screamed as the communicator was snatched from Kyanite's hand and crushed to bits.

"HOWLITE!" Andesine screamed for her chief scientist to meet her. "Why didn't you tell us that there was backup power here?"

"Well, because I wanted us to fail, and I was a mole for the Crystal Gems this whole time." Howlite smiled before she screamed, "OBVIOUSLY, I DIDN'T KNOW!"

"No matter, it's just Hessonite coming for us." Dalmatian Jasper stated as the other Rutile Rebels gathered around their two red-colored bosses. "We got a little thing called strength in numbers."

"Well, we're going to need a lot of that strength to complete the mission." Cinnabar stated as Hessonite and Citrine marched into the central area of the prison before they tossed Kyanite and Pyrite to her feet. "Pitiful."

"So this is what Andesine meant when she said she surrendered." Citrine observed the prison riot. "I should've known she was planning to break all of you out."

"And we won't let you tell anyone about it." Andesine said while drawing her flaming sword from her gem and motioning for her followers to attack. "CHARGE!"

"And that's how we narrowly escaped the Trandoshans." Lars recounted a tale of his adventures to his parents, the Crystal Gems, and his friends at a welcome-back barbecue held at his old home. "Moral of the story is don't get in the way of their hunts. They'll make sure you pay the price."

"Sounds like you've had quite the adventures since you were last here," Garnet said. "though I'm sure ours might be some good competition."

"Yeah, we had a shipping war, a beach party, a spy adventure, a krav maga tournament, a talent show, became celebrities! We even met ourselves from another dimension!" Amethyst eagerly added. "You would not believe all the crazy stuff we've been through!"

"Those do sound pretty exciting," Fluorite answered slowly. "I wish we had been there to experience all of that."

"Yeah, sounds like Earth just got a little more exciting." Lars's mother agreed. "Are you still sure you want to keep doing your space adventures, Lars?"

"I'm sure, Mom." Lars answered. "Besides, now that I'm pretty much immortal, I'm probably going to outlive pretty much everyone here, and I don't think I ever want to experience that."

"Well, you do you, Lars." Sadie accepted. "But if you ever feel like stopping by again, my mom and I always have a room to spare."

"Thanks, Sadie." Lars smiled at his old co-worker. "Sure, I've had fun traveling the stars with the Off-Colors, but it wasn't without some problems. Like these snake people I've had a few close calls with."

"Wait a second, did you say snake people?!" Ronaldo yelled as he slammed his hands on the picnic table. "I knew it; I knew they were real!"

"Never a dull moment with you, Ronaldo." Dante shook his head in amusement while everyone else just gave him weird looks.

Back at Little Homeworld, Nacre was taking in the sights and sounds of Earth. Such a wonderful planet to be on, she thought while exploring Little Homeworld and greeting all the Gems she passed by. She hadn't felt this amazing since she used her powers to restore her creations to normal and gain her physical body to join them in saving Homeworld. But now, after spending so much time in the cold darkness of space, she yearned for a change of scenery. Sure, the Pearls visited many planets in their travels, but they only stayed for a short time due to their missions.

As Nacre sat down on a bench and serenely felt the air comb her body, she suddenly heard a faint voice talking. "-was able to get through to that Reginald Johnson fellow you've informed me about." The voice said. "He was a prejudiced psycho who uses his media influence to spread his garbage takes, but he's also pretty agreeable."

"Who said that?" Nacre muttered as she turned around to discover a nearby house resembling Black Rutile's old headquarters. Tiptoeing closer to the home, Nacre spied on Black Rutile through the window and saw her conversing on a computer with a blonde human in glasses.

"Excellent work Sally!" Black Rutile thanked her human associate. "Talking to him should be very entertaining."

"I could feel my brain shrinking with every word he said." Sally Grove groaned in annoyance. "This is why I never trusted men; they're all the same dumbasses who not only do not realize how much is handed to them but still think they're the victims when they mess everything up because of their lazy entitlement and fragile egos."

"Yeah yeah, I've heard it a thousand times from your videos." Black Rutile declared before she realized she was being watched. "Hang on a second; I need to take this. See you soon." She shut off the video and marched towards the window to find Nacre trying to hide from her. "I know you're out there, Pearl."

"How did you find me?!" Nacre shouted as she tried desperately to hide, even though it was hopeless.

"Word of advice, little one, I am far smarter than you realize." Black Rutile smirked back. "TOPAZ!" On cue, Topaz appeared to snatch Nacre by the waist with her massive hands. "Return this Pearl to her friends at once."

"Yes, my Rutile." Topaz nodded obediently before looking down at Nacre. "No hard feelings, okay?"

"Let me go!" Nacre yelled as she tried to wriggle free from Topaz's grip while being carried away, leaving Black Rutile alone with her thoughts.

"Should've known someone was onto me." Black Rutile shook her head disdainfully before going back inside.

The Pearls were now getting themselves situated at their ship-turned-Earth home. Cap was modifying all the rooms to be homier, Pony had laid out a carpet in the bridge, IQ was helping Braids move a couch into the ship, and Tails was moving some decorations around. "Nice choice of carpet there." Tails commented on the ornate Persian carpet with gold tassels, a blue outer section, and a purple inner section with red and gold patterns throughout. "Really ties the room together."

Just then, there was a knock at the door. "Ooh, I wasn't expecting company so soon!" Pony exclaimed cheerfully as she walked up to answer it. "Sorry, we'll throw a housewarming party lat-" She then realized that Nacre was being delivered to the Pearls by Topaz, who had a message for the five.

"Black Rutile wants you to know that she doesn't want anyone interfering with her plans," Topaz said glumly. "Otherwise, and I hate to say this, but there will be consequences." She then tossed Nacre into the ship before walking away.

"Nacre, what happened?!" Braids exclaimed while dropping the couch on IQ's foot and racing to check on the team's healer.

"I was simply enjoying being on Earth when I overheard Black Rutile talking with this wicked human on the computer," Nacre explained what she went through. "Or at least, I think that's what she felt like. She said such awful things about other humans, and it made me suspicious. I think Black Rutile might be plotting her revenge or something."

"Well, if that's the case, someone has to know," IQ said as she shapeshifted her foot away from the couch. "Púrén?"

"Yes, IQ?" the Servant's primary AI, Púrén, asked.

"Signal the Crystal Gems; we must tell them what's up." IQ declared. "And I think it's time we tell them about where we found her."

As the Black Pearls left the Servant, Black Rutile had been watching them through one of her spy drones, and she was not happy at how they finally went back on her deal. "Alas, I can't seem to trust anyone on this planet." She shook her head in dismay before turning to Aquamarine and Eyeball. "You two, I have some disloyal Pearls that just moved here."

"What do you want us to do, my Rutile?" Eyeball asked.

"Fuse and terminate them." Black Rutile answered while making a slashing motion across her neck. "Are we clear?"

"Very clear." Aquamarine snickered before she and her Ruby sidekick joined hands and fused into Bluebird Azurite, who laughed maniacally before flying away.

Later that day, as the barbecue was winding down and everyone said their goodbyes, Lars heard something coming from the Sun Incinerator. Getting onboard the ship, he pushed a button on the console that showed him a staticky image of a fearful Hessonite. Lars had never seen Hessonite so timorous before. "Uh, is something wrong, Hessonite?"

"Lars, help!" Hessonite cried, but her message was too garbled for the pink human to get the whole message. "-evan-666-Cinna-Andesi-break-Citrine-ship, save us! Plea-" The message abruptly ended, leaving Lars wondering what she meant.

"This is where scum like you belong!" Dalmatian Jasper growled as she tossed a freshly poofed Hessonite and Citrine into the same cell and shut it behind them. "And lucky us, you gave us a ship to use, too, since you destroyed all of them."

The rioting began quieting as the Rutile Rebels began boarding Hessonite's warship to escape Revanche 666 and search for Earth. "Well, this plan has surely been more successful than I thought." Andesine commented while leading the Gems in hijacking the ship. "I was expecting at least one of our minions to give their lives for the good of our cause."

"That's not very comforting." Howlite said calmly.

"I was hoping to see you be used as a meat shield," Amber smirked.

"Don't you start, Amber!" Howlite yelled at Amber before Andesine broke them up.

"Enough bickering; we have work to do." Andesine proclaimed. "Cinnabar, I hope you have a good excuse for when Black Rutile sees you."

"I understand, Andesine." Cinnabar muttered in acceptance of her possible terrible fate. "Whatever Black Rutile must do, I shall accept."

"Yeesh, real bring-down prison has turned her into." Zoisite snarked while walking alongside Dalmatian Jasper.

"At least she's less nihilistic than Xenotime," DJ added, much to Xenotime's anger.

"You make a few overdramatic declarations, and suddenly you're the emo of the group!" Xenotime complained just as Hessonite and Citrine reformed in their cell to see everyone leaving. "Hey, look, they're back!"

"You see what happens when you put too much faith in Steven?" Cinnabar smirked cruelly at the two vigilantes. "This is where it'll get you."

"You won't get away with this!" Hessonite cursed Cinnabar as she and Andesine left with the other Rutile Rebels. "Don't think you can just take my ship and leave!"

"Uh, Hessonite, you kinda forgot one thing," Citrine stated. "Yours is the only ship left here since you destroyed all the others to try and keep them from escaping. Not a great plan."

"Well, looks like we're stuck here," Hessonite replied, realizing her own recklessness at the worst moment. With her ship now in Andesine and Cinnabar's hands, Hessonite was stranded on Revanche 666 with no known way of getting help.

--

Back on Earth, the Pearls were informing the Crystal Gems at the temple of Black Rutile's plans and how she threatened them. Outside, however, Bluebird Azurite was hiding from sight with her ice saber at the ready. "At long last, a chance to finally kill two birds with one stone." She laughed deviously as the cutlass lit on fire. "Or, in this case, one sword."

"I don't think so!" Lars cried as he grabbed Bluebird from behind and suplexed her onto the deck. "The Pearls told me everything, and I have something to tell you." He added while picking up Bluebird by her wing. "Run. Run away, Bluebird, back to your master. And tell her that no matter what she has planned, the Crystal Gems will be coming for her soon."

"And you just ran away?!" Black Rutile began yelling in Bluebird's face when the fusion returned to give her the bad news. "Whatever, they know what I'm doing! But they still don't realize what I'll do to get there."

"I deeply apologize, my Rutile." Bluebird apologized to Black Rutile just as they heard a loud rumbling sound from outside. "Is it just me, or are there tons of things just coming from the sky lately?"

"One second." Black Rutile said while pulling up her visor to check her surroundings, in which she discovered Hessonite's warship hovering over the forest where Jasper once made her home. "Hessonite? What's she doing here?"

"I don't think that's Hessonite, my Rutile." Bluebird observed. "Otherwise, she'd be landing somewhere to meet the Crystal Gems, not out in the woods. Someone must've taken the ship from her."

"Well, let's not dawdle for so long! Let's get moving!" Black Rutile said as she grabbed onto Bluebird, and the two flew towards the forest, where they found Hessonite's ship waiting for them. When the pair landed, a large reverse pyramid detached from the ship and descended on top of Jasper's old cave, destroying it and allowing Andesine, Howlite, Amber, and Cinnabar's cabal to disembark.

"Black Rutile, we have brought you Cinnabar." Andesine declared and shoved Cinnabar forward to meet her old master for the first time in months. "Do with her as you may."

"Hello again, Cinnabar." Black Rutile ominously greeted her former apprentice. "I've been told what happened when you went against those Pearls. And now, thanks to you, they are living here on Earth. What do you have to say for yourself?"

"I'm sorry for everything Black Rutile, those Pearls had me outfoxed at every turn!" Cinnabar begged for forgiveness while dropping to her knees. "I accept any punishment you shall give me!"

Instead of punishing her, however, Black Rutile picked Cinnabar up by the collar of her jacket and gave her a tender pat on the head. "No need to cry, my friend." She said sympathetically. "It's not entirely your fault because your failures can all be traced to one source."

"Do I even need to ask?" Andesine asked.

"Yes, Steven." Black Rutile proclaimed. "Everything the Pearls did was in service of that little tyrant's corrupted paradise! But slowly but surely, I have been taking control of the creatures he loves most: humans. Now then, let me ask you one thing. People talk loud when they want to sound smart, right?"

"CORRECT!" Bloodstone yelled loudly as a demonstration of Black Rutile's point.

"Well, that is what I've discovered recently." Black Rutile continued. "My ventures through the Internet have allowed me to discover that there are tons of people out there who, no matter how poor their moral character is, everyone will believe whatever they say. And naturally, I have taken advantage of this."

"So what are you saying?" Cinnabar asked nervously.

"I'm saying my new plan is more personal than ever before." Black Rutile responded. "Now then, are you all with me?" The rebellious Gems said nothing, only getting on one knee and bowing in reverence of their genius leader. "That's just what I needed to hear." She declared evilly as the Rutile Rebels began coming back together under her banner.

Only four chapters left until the finale, and we seem to be getting into the real good stuff. Andesine, Amber and Howlite, my resident Captain Kirk, Dr. McCoy and Mr. Spock for this chapter, were based off an idea for a story by a reviewer that I'm sad to say doesn't fit into my current plans, but I was more than happy to insert these characters into this world and fitting them into the Rutile Rebels. In the meantime, we'll have two more slice of life episodes to get down before we move onto the big two-part finale I estimate will be sometime in late June. Gives real time information on the user and environment around them. Comes with telescopic, x-ray, microscopic, & nanoscopic vision. Comes with a red dot laser to assist sharpshooting. Has cameras that transmit input and output. Gives users the ability to see fluorescent footprints of the person, monster, beast, creature, or being they are tracking. 

Pocketwatch. Lets the user control and manipulate time. Lets the user go back in time or forwards in time but only for a few minutes. 

Steampunk watch. Silver watch with gold inlays. Gears, screws, knobs, & dials made out of brass, copper, silver, & gold. 

As a scion of a noble and old house and scion of an ancient and powerful house he/she/they wear fine noble clothes that include a suit or a dress. Interwoven into his/her/their clothing as a noble and aristocrat is gems and precious metals. As an aristocrat he/she/they wear jewelry of a silver watch, gold necklace, silver bracelet, & gold signet ring. 

He/she/they often wear a magical messenger bag. 

As a magic user he/she/they wears a purple wizards hat, a forest green grand magister robe, a cardinal sorcerer/sorceress’s cape, and a royal blue mage cloak. Tied to the wizard hat are red phoenix firebird feathers, white fenghuang feathers, orange peng feathers, gold vermillion bird feathers, blue qingniao feathers, & Jingwei feathers. These were bird feathers from avians that were mythical birds of East Asian and Southeast Asian mythology. These feathers symbolize the respect he/she/they have and the honor he/she/they have gained in their magical human kingdom as a magic user who reached the rank of Grand Magister. The mage hat is also a hat of power. It gives the user incredible luck. The silk and velvet grand magister robe is scarlet and gold. The mage cloak is pink with tangerine undertones. 

Amethyst violet and rose pink noble clothes 

Knight and paladin high elder clothes. 

Indigenous magical human and magical human robe. It is brown, the color of chestnut, almonds, & amber to symbolize his/her/their mother’s people. It is the people, their customs, traditions, culture, language, & spirituality. It comes with long sleeves. It is made out of arachne spider silk, cotton, and linen. It is tied with a gold traditional magical human sash and ruby traditional Indigenous magical human sash. It is yellow as the desert sands, meant to symbolize the desert home that their mother comes from. It is red, the color of life, the color of fire, & the color of death. It is adored with sapphires to symbolize the blue desert sky and water the bringer of life. Traditionally, sashes are passed down through generations to the oldest child. They are repaired and re-stitched until they’re too threadbare to be worn proudly anymore. Then they are remade. New sashes are lovingly woven. The old ones are burned and their replacements prayed over to keep the memory. They’re meant to be symbols of adulthood. They are symbols of one’s dedication to a life well-lived under their polytheistic gods and goddesses. Tied to the robe is a piece of a scroll inscribed with their magical human name and Indigenous magical human name. Names are sacred, given to them by their gods and goddesses, and should not be uttered by non native Homo Magi settlers. It would be an act of dishonor. Comes with a hood. Allows the user to survive forest, jungle, desert, & tundra terrains. Allows users to survive extreme heat and extreme cold. 

As a chieftain and warchief of a nation of Indigenous magical humans. He/she/they wear a headdress with feathers of a thunderbird, snowbird, rainbird, & phoenix. He/she/they wear regalia with feathers of a griffin and hippogriff. 

Duelist clothes. Gloves. Boots. Cavalier hat with feather plumes from a Roc bird, a Simurgh bird, & a Huma bird which are magical birds from West Asian mythology. 

Iron and gray dragonhide leather gloves made from the hide of a metallic unaligned neutral ancient iron dragon and an adult chaotic evil chromatic gray dragon. These gloves double as mage gloves. Gives the user super strength.

Black and purple dragonhide leather boots made from the hide of an ancient neutral evil chromatic purple dragon and an ancient chaotic evil chromatic black dragon.  Doubles as mage boots. Gives the user super speed. Lets users silently sneak past enemies. When worn allows the user to get past placed traps and easily disarm them.

Red and Blue High Elder Robes. Made out of arachne and drider spider silk. Tied to the high elder robes is a chimera claw, a fire basilisk fang, a hellhound pelt that came with a hellhound head pelt, & a hydra scale. This symbolizes the honor and respect that he/she/they have in his/her/their family, clan, & nation as the High Elder of a knight and paladin order.

Magical gunslinger leather bomber jacket or cowboy duster. Its ideal cover for producing weapons, tools, supplies with hammer space. It is a black and black duster. They constantly wear it closed unless they are in combat where they wear it open. It is long reaching the waist. It is designed for horseback riding on their pegasi, hippogriff, alicorn, griffin, & unicorn mounts. Comes with bandolers and a belt. It is made out of red and black dragonhide studded leather and arachne silk. It has a wider collar that can be turned up against the wind. They also wear the color to cover their eyepatch and mechanical clockwork and magical glass prosthetic eye. It is bullet proof. It protects against stabbing and slashing damage. Strapped with two Derringer pistols, two six shot 45 caliber magical revolvers, a magical 500 magnum revolver, two magical 45 caliber pistols, a magical lever action 10 shot 12.7mm repeating rifle with red dot sight, a magical lever action five shot 12 gauge shotgun with red dot sight, & magical 5.56mm automatic carbine with scope in the holsters stitched to the coat. Full mask that has openings for the mouth, nose, ears, & eyes. Gives the user bonuses on intimidation, medicine, charisma, wisdom, knowledge, intelligence, history, & perception. Allows the user the ability to use dark vision to see in the dark. Allows users the ability to see invisible enemies. Grants the user immunity to any damage gained from inhaling any form of dust or gas. Gives the user the ability to intimidate enemies with a penance stare or petrifying gaze. It comes with a red, blue, green, silver, or gold light. It comes with a keyboard. It can record audio sound and visual video footage for later playback. Using a simple but elegant form of sonar and satellite tracking this wrist mounted computer can map out areas where its user travels. It acts as a database for the wearer's personal information and inventory. It is capable of tracking the wearer's status and organizes the user's inventory of apparel, junk, weapons, misc, armor, mods, aid, items, & equipment. An overlay of the data is also available. In addition, the device features a built-in radio module. It has an advanced compass. It has a magical virtual 3d and 4d map that displays discovered locations. It has a holographic map projector which shows a complete 3D or 4D scan of an area. It has a sonar and motion sensor system that highlights nearby allies, enemies, people, animals, beasts, creatures, and monsters. It is a communicator, a map, a flashlight, a compass, a scanner, a music player, a smart watch, & a portable computer. It has lighting functionality. The wrist computer gauntlet's uses include but are not limited to data storage, inventory management, topographical mapping, assisted targeting, telephone, medical diagnostics, computer, radio receiver, telegram, hacking, music (cassette and CD) player, & Video (Video and DVD) Player . It can map out areas. It can take and store notes and memos. It has a built-in radio. It has a geiger counter and toxic gauge for radiation, toxins, & poisons. It has a built-in flash light used to illuminate dark areas. It needs to be worn as a gauntlet which seals with a biometric lock. It utilizes a revamped 3d or 4d holographic display interface with animated images. It automatically updates using satellites. Additionally, it integrates with the onboard computers of power armor and mech suits allowing a user to access their wrist mounted computer from within the armor via a HUD visor display. The inventory menu is a system used for viewing and managing collected items. The menu also displays total currency and carry weight on the screen. It is sorted into several tabs. Weapons, Apparel, Aid, Misc, Junk, Mods, Ammo, & Money. All guns, melee weapons, grenades, and mines fall in this tab. Specs of weapons can be viewed and compared as well as equipped and unequipped weapons.  It shows their attachments such as silencers or suppressors, compensators or muzzles, grips, flashlights, scopes, red dot sight, red laser sight, or grenade launcher. Shows the damage effect it has on enemies. It shows the weapon’s stats such as range, damage, etc. It shows the weapons condition and shows if it is in need of maintenance and repair. All armor and clothing appear in this tab. Specs of armor and clothing can be viewed and compared as well as equipped and unequipped apparel.  All aid such as medicines, drugs, food, and drinks are sorted here and can be used and consumed in this tab. A unique feature of the Mark 10 Magical Wrist Computer is an adapter plug attached to the underside of the device. This plug is used to perform diagnostics on power armor and mech suits. It can hack into computers. It has a lockpick module to pick the locks of doors, safes, etc. In addition, the plug is also used to gain control of robots, androids, & automatons. When wearing a power armor or mech suit the user does not interact with the wrist computer directly. Instead all the information is displayed through the suit's integrated HUD but with a different HUD color. This implies that the Mark 10 is capable of interfacing with power armor or mech suits onboard systems to allow access to its functionality without having to directly operate the device. It is a wrist gauntlet, wrist bracer or wrist computer. It is a piece of wrist-worn technology. It houses several technologically adv

anced features.  The wrist gauntlet is a small computer device worn on the wrist and features numerous controls for various items of Homo magi, Indigenous human, & magical human magical technology. It has a digitized display. The gauntlet is linked directly into a human’s combat armor, combat helmet, power armor, power armor helmet, & mecha suit and governs many of their functions. The gauntlet also acts as a power source for these tools although it has only limited capacity and would become depleted with repeated use. However, despite the clearly advanced nature of the technology involved, the magical wrist gauntlet can be recharged from any common power source such as gas, steam, & electricity.  The mark 10 is the most customizable model made. It was the epitome of technology. Each instrument is individually crafted and personally attuned to its recipient. The device is so personalized to its user that it could continuously monitor and report the vital signs of its assigned wearer in real time. It was the quintessential personal data assistant complete with a magical AI modeled after a sprite, fairy, & pixie. Complete with its own mapping system, navigation system, radio receiver, computer, video and music player, cellphone, & personal inventory tracking software. It's a souped-up PDA complete with DNA biometric lock.

The magic compass when not working as a regular compass points to cardinal directions. When the magical compass’s magic is activated the magical compass points to a specific person, place, or object that the user wants to find. The magic compass is used to lead whoever uses it to something or someone lost or hidden. Its method of operation is inexplicable as it is an artifact of an ancient wizard, sorcerer, or mage. The magical compass appears in the form of a lensatic compass. The compass glows when the user is going in the right direction. It lets the user know the distance they are from what they are seeking. The magic compass can also point up or down. The magical compass is used alongside a magical map.  The magical map normally appears as a regular detailed atlas map. If you are looking for something or someone that won’t show up on regular maps. Something or someone hidden, something that is never in the same place, or something not of this world. The magical map will transform into a globe and with photo realistic details show you the location of anything hidden such as a person, location, or item.

They may also be magic artifacts themselves imbued with arcane potency. Magic is casted by mostly reading what is written in it. Magic is also casted by sometimes wielding the book itself. People who practice witchcraft and wiccan call these things grimoires or black books. Also known as a book of shadows. They are usually more like commonplace books or tomes. They come with collections of incantations, calendars, diagrams, recipes, journal entries, illustrations, and notes on whether this or that spell worked. From the beginning of the arcane, magic users have thought magic could be performed by reading and performing specific incantations. So they have used collections of written spells in various forms. Writing itself is considered a magic art. Most of the book of shadows was handwritten with paper and magical pen, magical pencil, or ink and magical quill. Some of it to keep up with the times was typed out by a magical typewriter. Traditionally it was typed out as many believed this would add the user’s energy, magic, and spiritual intentions into the thoughts and words incorporated in their book of shadows. Books of shadows can and should evolve into something that enhances the user’s spirituality, not burdens them. That is why many are typing out with a magical typewriter and after printing out the pages adding it to their grimoires themselves. The book is a weapon in and of itself instead of just a focus item. A grimoire is simply any book used by a witch in his/her/their own personal practice. There is no limit as to what a grimoire can or cannot be, as each one is as unique as the witch who wrote it. The book of shadows begins with a dedication page. A place the user puts their intentions and commitment to their grimoire to continue the work of their ancestors archiving their family magics. The purposely blank pages are filled with quotes, art, & a note section. These are the past user’s favorite quotes that empowered them or inspired them spiritually. The grimoire has heavily-worn text. It is bound in bright cloth. The inside cover appears to be signed by the author. It is an ancient large book bound in red and black leather. With rubies inlaid the front cover and emeralds inlaid on the back cover. Diamonds are inlaid in the corners of the front and back cover with beautiful designs along the spine. Reading grimoires without precautions can be dangerous especially for those untrained in using them. When he/she/they first examine it, the writer's penmanship is skillful and elegant. An eye-catching book with strange symbols decorating the cover. Upon opening he/she/they can see that each letter is meticulously written. When he/she/they look through the book he/she/they feel compelled to read the words out-loud. When he/she/they open the book, the ink is iridescent and changes colors depending on the angle. Turning the pages makes his/her/their fingers tingle pleasantly. It comes with some missing pages detailing dark or death magic carefully removed with a knife. Looking inside he/she/they can see that the writing is crisp and fastidiously penned. Looking inside, he/she/they can see that the printing is elegantly written. Several full-page illustrations are moving though magic. Upon inspection, the paper is soft and supple. Upon further inspection, the ink shines with a ghostly luminescence with arcane notes penned in the margins. Each chapter is marked with a glowing rune. When those who are of the Norwood household read the book turning the pages makes their fingers tingle pleasantly. Ghostly whispers of his/her/their ancestors fill his/her/their head as he/she/they read it. When a reader who is a Norwood family member continues to read the grimoire. Thin motes of colorful pixie dust and fairy dust enchanted into the book by fae who were friends of the Norwood family begin to waft up playfully from the pages. Compelling the reader to smile and mutter. Turning the pages he/she/they stumble across a list of owners. To his/her/their shock, their name is already written in the list. This book is of legendary rarity. The grimoire, when read by those who should not read them, like an outsider who is not part of the Norwood family, appears to them as a commonplace book in the form of an old leather bound book, a modern paperback book, or a modern hardcover book. When intruders read the book of shadows, turning the pages makes the paper writhe in your fingers like it has a life of its own. If you continue to read the book when you aren’t supposed to, disturbing images are beginning to be scrawled in the margins, as if warning the intruder. You feel an unsettling presence reach out for you. As you browse through the book you notice an illustration of a man looking out at you with his hands pressed against the page. To your surprise his lips begin to move. You realize he is pleading for help. You feel if you don’t stop reading you as the intruder will soon share his fate. Reading the book as an intruder you feel as though your life force is being drained.

Black and purple cauldron filled with an unknown glowing substance with bubbles. 

Alchemist Laboratory Chemistry Set. Using magic it can be shrunk to be portable and appear as a kid’s small chemistry set or expand into an entire science chemistry laboratory. Has flasks, vials, & containers. Used to brew potions, elixirs, brews, & concoctions as an alchemist.

Rune Box. Box of runes made out of wood, stone, & gems. Twenty five rune letters. Runes have magical and mystical powers. They were used in spellcasting. They offer wise counsel. They have protective powers and warriors would engrave shields, weapons, & armor with runic symbols.

Two Indigenous magical human traditional wands. These wands are kept in  dragon hide wand holsters on his/her/their forearms. The left wand holster is made of dragon hide from an old chaotic evil chromatic red fire, magma, & lava dragon they found in volcanic mountains. The leather of this wand holster was dyed red. The right wand holster is made from the hide of an ancient chaotic evil chromatic white snow, frost, & ice dragon they found in a frozen tundra. The leather of this wand holster was dyed white. These were taken since he/she/they slain these evil dragons when facing against the forces of evil. The barrels of these wands are balanced and the bodies of the wand don't taper. These wands have polished finishes. The feel of these wands are natural. These wands have a slender thickness. The length of patterns on these wands were long designs. With lengthy patterns that stretch along large portions of the barrels. The grip shape of these wands are multi sided. The angles of these wands are straight continuing off the barrels. The roundness of the nibs of the wands were polygonal. The size of the nibs were long. 

One eleven inch long and ¼ inches thick wand. The handle size is extra thin. This wand was made out of hazel wood and a brass metal. This is a right handed wand. This wand is orange and blue. The brass metal symbolizes communication, abundance, & protection. The hazel wood symbolizes wisdom, clarity, psychic work, nature magick, water magick and knowledge. This is a good all-rounder wood. Hazel wands are good to use for nature-based magical workings and are thought to offer protection against witchcraft. The wand had a handle that was made out of applewood which is a dense, hard, & sweet smelling wood. Applewood is known for healing, love, fertility, prosperity, beauty and abundance. This tree is associated with eternal youth, fertility magic, love spells, ancient knowledge, strength, healing and wisdom. The apple tree is also known as the fruit of the underworld. The goddess Freya is associated with this tree. So making an apple wand is a good choice to use for goddess-based magic. Etched into the wand was a sigil of a letter. Etched into the wand was a pentacle. End of the wand was made out of clear quartz. The clear quartz symbolizes power, protection, & general magic. The handle at the bottom of the wand had a hippogriff feather. This feather was tied to the wand with the hair of an alicorn.  The decorative trim of the wand that adorns its barrel was made out of the hide of a fire basilisk. This wand has a wand core of a basilisk fang and venom of a fire basilisk. Wands with serpent cores were previously thought to be treacherous. This is a misconception as when wielded by a witch or wizard with a dominant character they will enhance spellcasting. They will also provide subtle spell enhancements as required. This wand prefers more mysterious owners. The serpent core of this wand was injected into the wand. The wand core remains liquid inside the wand. This is typically the second most potent wand. The complexity of the trim detailing was dense. The style of the trim detailing was streaky. The shape and direction of the trim detailings on the wand was covered in horizontal patterns. The lines are generally contained to one portion of the barrel but not completely wrapping it. This wand had a handle texture that was smooth. The roundness of the nib of the wand was polygonal. It was shaped like a cube. The nib texture was smooth. The nib point was sharp. The shaft of the wand conducts magic from the handle to the tip. Each style will bring different qualities to the wand. This is a dark or gray sided magic wand. Dark magic is best suited to magical beings who have strong powers. They are sometimes difficult to control but otherworldly when truly mastered. The copper symbolizes healing, prosperity, love, & luck. The ash wood symbolizes healing, protection, purification, wisdom, prosperity. This is a good all-round wood for a wand as it amplifies almost all kinds of magick. Ash wands were thought to be capable of warding off attacks of harmful magic. The handle of the wand was made out of ebony wood which is a finely textured, dense, & a hard texture. Etched into the wand was a sigil of a number. The handle at the bottom of the wand was made out of jade. The jade symbolizes luck, prosperity, protection, & love. The end of the wand had a griffon feather. This feather was tied to the wand with pegasi hair. The decorative trim of the wand that adorns its barrel was made out of the hide of a wyvern. The wyvern hide amplifies the power of the draconic core wand. The wand core was made out of a tooth of a young water dragon and claw of a young adult chromatic blue storm dragon. Wands with dragon cores are ferocious. They can be relied upon to support their owner through the toughest of spells. They are strong, fierce, and unyielding. This wand needs a strong bond with its owner. The dragon cores were fused by being melted into the wand itself in a very permanent matter. Fused wands are the most potent of wands but users can’t trade in another wand core later. The wands cores that are easily interchangeable but the least potent are wand cores that are engraved or fastened to the wand. The complexity of the trim detailing was dense. The style of the trim detailing was sharp. The shape and direction of the trim detailings on the wand was covered in vertical patterns. The lines ran from the handle to the nib. This wand had a handle texture that was polished. The texture was smooth and shiny. The roundness of the nib of the wand was polygonal. It was shaped like a pyramid. The nib texture was polished. It was smooth and shiny. The nib point was flat. This wand was a light sided wand. The shaft of the wand conducts magic from the handle to the tip. Each style will bring different qualities to the wand. This wand had a natural shaft. The natural shaft is traditional, uncomplicated, and trustworthy. An ideal choice for kind & serene souls. 

The wands are magic focus objects or magic foci that direct his/her/their magical power. When dueling magic users he/she/they duel wield these wands. Wands have innate arcane energies of their own. This allowed casters to empower their spells. This also allowed wands to cast their own spells. Gemstones were added to wands to increase their effectiveness. Crafting stronger wands required more spellcasting skills from the crafter which they may not possess. Crafting any kind of magic item burnt some of the soul of the crafter. The stronger the item the greater the toll on the caster. Adding a gem was a way to increase the effectiveness of a wand without sacrificing the full amount of one's own life force. 

He/she/they have exotic greyscale wands. The right handed one was made out of chimera bone and the other left handed wand was made out of a manticore claw. Alder wood is known for courage, strength, communication with the other side, determination and protection. Wands made from alder wood carry energies of protection, motivation, and action. Alder is known to be the tree where the first man sprung to life, making it a wood type suitable for carving desires, ideas, and intention into existence. Alder is a soft, light color, & fine grained wood. The other was a brown wand made out of pine wood and a handle made out of teak wood. This moment was why he/she/they cut his/her/their long Indigenous hair to mark the moment he/she/they lost connection to his/her/their ancestors. Their family, especially parents and uncles and aunts and their kin members of clan, tribe, and nation understood the meaning of their hair when they came home with tears in their eyes with their cut hair and in their hands were their cut braided hair and shards of wands passed down to them.

Magic cudgel. The top of the magical cudgel which has been decorated with intricate gilded pattern design, said to have secret meanings only known to the wielder. The bottom ends in two decorative intertwining snakes made of obsidian and has been decorated with glowing triangular ruby gems with smaller emerald gems floating around them that give off a soft humming sound whenever magic is used. Crystal-like shards are merged into the staff, allowing light to flow through and making it glow. Only the handle is kept smooth, which has been decorated with an ancient text carved into it. The top is made out of supreme adamantium and the bottom is made out of mithril. Carved runes cover this jagged, twisting staff from top to bottom, leaving only the handle untouched, which has been emblazoned with magical runes. The staff has been smoothened and strengthened at core positions, including the handle, which has been decorated with a few sapphire crystals.

Magic quarterstaff. Magic quarterstaffs are large and substantial enough to be viable melee weapons. This quarterstaff was made out of walnut wood and maple wood handle. Walnut is a tree of fertility, prosperity and wisdom. Wands and staffs made of walnut to help awaken inner wisdom. This is also a good material to use for initiation rituals. Walnut is a rich color, shock resistant, & strong wood. Maple is a tree of love, harmony, peace and prosperity. Maple will help to bring balance and harmony to yin-yang energies. As a grand magister who is a war wizard, battle wizard, battle sorcerer, & gun witch he/she/they uses the magic quarterstaff in close quarters melee combat like a cane, club, or mace. Homo Magi Scepter. The Homo magi scepter comes with a faceted crystal shard from the Giant Meteorite that crashed into the Homo Magi empire that gives Homo Magi magical powers. The scepter was six feet long. The scepter was blue and yellow. Etched into the scepter were symbols. Scepter was made out of gold metal and cedar wood. Gun Witch’s Broomstick. Automotive mechanical broomstick. With a two seat leather seat for comfortable riding. Wood made out of rose wood and zinc metal. The zinc symbolizes. Rosewood is known for being a strong, heavy, & richly hued wood. Rose wood is known for love, knowledge, psychic work, healing, compassion, fertility and protection of loved ones. The handle was made out of hickory wood. Hickory wood is a coarse textured, hard, & shock resistant wood. The broomstick came with holsters for the guns that he/she/they use as a gun witch. End of the broomstick was made out of sodalite. The sodalite symbolizes wisdom, peace, healing, divination and intuition. Etched into the broomstick is a pentagram. The entire length of this staff has been carefully painted with intricate patterns. Leaving only the handle untouched which has been decorated with an ancient text carved into it. The bottom ends in a skull-shaped decorative piece made of obsidian and has been decorated with glowing orbs that orbit around at gentle speeds at all times. The top is made out of unique wood and has been crafted into a lantern-like shape. Which has been decorated with several floating crystals. Crystals that are gently floating round and round in an almost hypnotic fashion. He/she/they have built into the broomstick a magical Gatling gun. He/she/they also can also use the gun witch broom to fly as a flying broomstick. It has comfortable two person seating with a seat made out of dragonhide leather. It has six rocket thrusters. 

Weapons: 

He/she/they were a knight, a knight corporal, & a knight sergeant. The melee weapon he/she/they used was a rapier. The ranged weapons she/they used were a flintlock rifle with a bayonet and a flintlock pistol with an ivory and steel grip. 

He/she/they were a knight sergeant, a knight lieutenant, & later a knight captain. He/she/they were a paladin, a star paladin, & a grand paladin. The melee weapons he/she/they used was a saber and cutlass. The ranged weapons he/she/they used were a magical triple barreled flintlock rifle with a bayonet and a magical quadruple barrel flintlock pistol with an ivory inlay and willow grip. 

He/she/they were then a knight commander and paladin commander. The ranged weapons he/they used were a long triple barreled heavy musket with a steel barrel, a mahogany wooden stock, and an oak wood grip. They also used an engraved elegant triple barrel ivory plated dueling pistol (with a walnut grip and silver inlay) and an engraved ornate ivory plated triple barrelled flintlock pistol (with a gold inlay and cherry wood grip). The melee weapons he/she/they used was dual wielding short swords. 

He/they were then the knight and paladin chapter master. The weapon she/they used was a brass plated engraved heavy double barreled blunderbuss with a cherry wood grip, a full wooden stock, & a golden barrel. The weapon they used was also an engraved four barreled flintlock pistol with a (with an expanded ivory and cypress grip and elegant roundel). The melee weapon he/she/they used was a one handed long sword and shield. 

She/they were an elder of a paladin and knight order. The weapon he/they used was a double barreled arquebus with an engraved metal grip and a pistol with a walnut grip and gold inlay. The melee weapon he/she/they used was a two handed zweihander greatsword. 

He/she/they as an adventurer of an adventuring guild and guild member of a guild order are a magic user and fighter. She/they is an arcane swordsman and esoteric gunslinger as a fighter. His/her/their weapons as a fighter are a magical lever action repeating rifle, a magical Gatling gun, and two six shot magical revolvers. 

He/she/they as a fighter were a mercenary, bounty hunter, & private soldier of a mercenary company Timber Wolf. The weapons he/she/they used were a magical semi automatic carbine with scope, a magical machine gun, magical sniper rifle, a magical sub-machine gun, & a magical semi automatic pistol. 

He/she/they as a fighter was a black ops and spec ops soldier for the Federation of Aehinara military. He/she/they as a fighter was a general of the Human Federation military. The weapons he/she/they used were a magical assault rifle, a magical pump action combat shotgun with drum magazine, a magical machine gun with drum magazine, & a magical sniper rifle. 

He/she/they also use a wood elf traditional composite bow and arrow, a High Elven compound bow, & a Dark Elf crossbow.

The High Elven compound bow is made from excellent quality redwood with crystal grip. It has an insignia engraved on one side. The string is made from sinew and is very strong. The arrows are made from the rarest oak wood. Each arrow is tipped with diamond arrowheads and fletched with hippogriff or griffin feathers. The quiver is made of purple leather with topaz trimmings and a purple leather strap. Its main effect is that the arrows never miss. The secondary effect is it can never be used by anyone else except from the owner. It was forged by high elves. It is wielded by Homo magi. Its alignment is true good. This solid compound bow has been remarkably constructed of long-lasting ipe wood. Its string is made from. It's a fairly common material around these parts of the world. The limbs have been decorated with golden, silver, brass, & iron rings and end in long points shaped like tusks. The handle is wrapped in soft silk and decorated with small sapphire, ruby, amethyst, emerald, & diamond gemstones. The sizable quiver is made from woven chimera fur and is supposed to be worn around the archer's belt. The outer side has been decorated with phoenix bird feathers, which may be purely decoration or might have a meaning. In the hands of an expert archer this bow is capable of firing arrows up to 252 meters while still retaining lethal power.

The dark elven crossbow is made from excellent quality oak wood. It has mysterious engravings across it. The looped string is made from rawhide and has retained its shape well. The arrows are made from the rarest ebony. Each crossbow bolt is tipped with a sapphire arrowhead. Each bolt is fletched with  phoenix, thunderbird, or rain bird feathers. The quiver is made of ivory with diamond trimmings and a yellow leather strap. Its alignment is lawful neutral. It was forged by dark elves. It is used by magical humans. Its quirk is that it changes its wielders alignment to match its own. It was created to protect and defend. This excellent repeating crossbow has been remarkably constructed of a fine sample of yew wood. Its string is made from splendid alicorn horsehair, it's a fairly uncommon material around these parts of the world. The limbs have been decorated with griffin and hippogriff feathers and end in curves ornamented with flowers. The stock is wrapped in ebon and decorated with gilded linings. The sizable quiver is made from soft hide and is supposed to be worn around the archer's belt. The outer side has been decorated with armored plating. In the hands of any archer this bow is capable of firing arrows up to 179 meters while still retaining lethal power.

The wood elven composite bow is made from the rarest maple with a walnut grip. It has complex engravings etched into it. The reverse-twisted string is made from hemp and is strong. The arrows are made from excellent quality mahogany wood. Each arrow is tipped with a cherry arrowhead and fletched with eagle feathers. The quiver is made of chimera fur with diamond trimmings and a yellow leather strap.

As a war wizard, battle mage, gun witch, & battle sorcerer he/she/they also carry two Goblin knives or daggers tied to their belt, fusion weapon (of a High Troll battle axe, High orc club, & dwarven war hammer) tied to their right hip, an Indigenous magical human spear, a High Elf rapier longsword tied to their left hip, and a magical human claymore greatsword tied to their back.

Indigenous magical human spear. The diamond-shaped permanently sharp head is bound to the shaft made of the rarest redwood with an elaborate eye-catching metal sleeve. It is highly decorated and is tied with eagle feathers.

It was created by clerics and seers. Its fame is legendary. It draws its power from its wielder's fighting spirit. Its look is covered in engravings. Its fame is somewhat famous. Its quirk is it talks. It was created on another plane. It was created to slay a demon lord. The large marble hammer head is an octagonal prism. It has an insignia engraved on one side. The opposing end tapers off into two 2 inch/5cm long prongs. The jade axe head has a narrow, eagle head edge, and has an insignia engraved on one side. It comes with a turquoise leather-bound grip and a redwood handle. It is neither too light nor too heavy. It is perfectly balanced.

A two handed claymore. It is made out of celestial steel. It is a solid black blade. Its look is like it is perpetually wreathed in darkness. Its fame is considered mythical. Its quirk is it was once part of a divine war. It was created in the fires of hell by its first wielder who was a fallen paladin and dark knight. It draws its power from its wielder's ambition. The weapon's main effect is it creates walls of flame made out of demonic hellfire.
