Waking up absolutely manic at the wee hours of the morning to google literary magazines that are currently accepting submissions until May 1 like I don't have a job to go to tomorrow, a gym day, cleaning, and I still need to pack to go visit my friend for all of Friday and Saturday

#applying to a few others #its my first time 🥺👉👈#i know my writing is good tbh but its not pretentious like most lit mags like #in that way where its kind of like. written overly prose-y and kind of beats you with a moral #like idk. tell me the new yorker doesnt print pretentious shit #good stuff a lot of the time. but. u know the vibe. its worse in smaller #smaller sized mags tho*#im afraid im a lil toooooo quirky for most of them #who else writes about having sex with their dead wife while being tormented in purgatory by reality tv.#nobody is doing it like me fr fr and i hope they find that a ehhhh refreshing thought #i found some that are online ONLY which is good bc i was experimenting with audio/images in a couple stories in ways that simply wont work #with traditional print #not without losing some of the plot anyway #snow❄️
