Alright I'm knee-deep in essays but just heard this again and honestly I have never heard a piece of music so appropriately titled. It's called 'Musette for a Magpie'- I can see some magpies out of the window strutting their stuff in the garden right now and generally acting like the bird equivalents of a cockney spiv, and well, those lads are definitely Characters.

Yes but I'm right #If magpies could sell me some fake watches that fell off the back of a lorry for an outrageous price that they claim is a deal #while sporting the thinnest sleaziest moustache ever and talking like Flash Harry #They would #But also it's a lot more endearing in bird form so I love them #(Except somehow according to this music they're in Paris? French cockneys definitely exist; the West End version of Les Miserables said so)
